It's a shame these people get paid! Send them home! 18 minutes to take an order? While you're stuck with cars behind and in front, so you have to stay put. Get rid of this staff, and all of them, really. I'm here almost every day and I see how messy and dirty it is, and on top of that, they have egos and talk curtly instead of being friendly.

If you want diarrhea order from here. Me and my partner very rarely eat fast food. So once in a while we like to go "treat" ourselves. Yesterday we ordered 1 variety bucket and a strawberry milkshake. The milkshake was horrible, tasted like they forgot to add milk because it was just icy. That was already a bad start but we were still excited to dig inro the chicken. However when we started eating we were disgusted at how the skin tastes. That's normally the best part! There was no seasoning and mainly tasted likebad oil. We threw half the bucket away. That was not all, today we woke up with an upset stomach and cannot stay far away from the toilet. They owe us a pack of toilet paper. (do want to add, service was good and friedly)

I come here often. And I've never left a review myself because they've never gotten my order right. But this time it was absolutely fantastic. I ordered two regular crunchy burgers. There were two people in front of me, and I waited about 45 minutes. I wanted something extra and, as usual, got it wrong. The person who helped me didn't speak Dutch. She kept talking to someone who used to work there, and when they wanted to give me my order, my former colleague grabbed it right in front of me and walked out. But then suddenly it was a joke. I understand the reviews here, and if this happens often and is normal, a 2.9 is really high.

The day after Zaandam, I thought it would be nice to grab a bite to eat at KFC. This KFC is as dead as a midnight highway diner, and we arrived around dinnertime. The reason was probably the same as ours. The chicken was as dry as if you'd left a slice of bread outside the bread bag until tomorrow. And the same goes for the hot wings. They probably got a chicken from a desert, it was so dry. Restrooms—you walked in and smelled the urine from a month ago, it stank so badly, they never even think about hygiene. Well, people reading this, I'd recommend skipping this KFC and going somewhere else.

I got something from KFC (in Zaandam) for the first time, and it was also the last time. I ordered through the kiosk and then had to wait a very long time. There are very few staff, but the guy at the counter couldn't do anything about that. I paid almost €30 for two medium menus, but after checking everything, I got two small shakes instead of a medium. The shake tasted good, the fries were okay too, but the burgers... what a disaster, greasy and incredibly salty. Really not worth the money. Compared to this, a BK or Mac is practically haute cuisine. A waste of my money.

There were crumbs everywhere (tables, chairs, floor). The floor was also sticky. The fries were cold, and there was almost sauce on the burger. The food arrived quickly; everything had probably been ready for a while, which is why it went cold. So, I wouldn't recommend it.

I saw the mouse in the oil with my own eyes. Whenever I eat at this restaurant, I always get a stomach ache, and now I know why. Extremely poor service: only one employee at the counter, who also had to take orders because two of the self-service terminals weren't working. It took almost half an hour for the order to be ready. The Zingerburger was so small that only half the bun had any filling. The fries were nice and warm, but could have been fried a bit longer. The tables were dirty, and the windows could use a good cleaning. It was also very hot; maybe a broken air conditioner?

This restaurant is struggling with staff, and it's unfortunately very noticeable. The staff speaks little or no Dutch. But if you apply, they don't need you. At least, I applied, and after the third interview, they asked if I wanted to travel by tram, since that requires working in the city center. Unfortunately, I didn't want to, so that was the end of the interview. But back to the food. The quality is absolutely terrible! And the service is the same.

What a horrible experience here... I used the drive-thru, and it took so incredibly long just to order. After ordering, we waited over 30 minutes. There were two cars ahead of us. People were ordering inside, too, but it got so crowded there that people had to wait outside. They, too, had to wait an absurdly long time for their orders. Once and for all. Yuck.

I had placed my order at the column inside. In front of me was another German couple who had ordered 2 menus and 2 ice creams. One employee was walking back and forth behind the counter. Apart from that, not much was happening. First, the ice creams were put on the tray. Then the employee walked to the back and didn't return for 10 minutes. Unfortunately for our German Friends, without chicken/burger. In the meantime, the ice creams had already melted halfway. When something was said about that, the boy indicated that they could already eat them otherwise, the food was coming. Of course they didn't agree with this and the employee offered a napkin to prevent leakage 😂. I asked where my 2 simple cheeseburgers were. I had to wait a while until the German's order was ready. In the meantime, I saw that my burgers were ready and were being prepared to be packed. Still no one else in the shop except the couple and me. The employee walked away again and returned with food for the couple. But now they still had to explain how to tap drinks. The ice creams had melted to snot by now, so they were thrown away anyway. My burgers, still ready to be packed, had been there for 6 minutes by now, but I find watching the uber-raging employee interesting. The Germans had their food and a justified sneer was given in German to the employee. She didn't understand them, but since I speak a fair bit of German, I could understand them and I won't repeat what they said here. Finally, after 18!!! minutes, from ordering to delivery, I had my burgers. They were cold of course, but I didn't dare ask for new ones after this adventure. What a drama here. One single employee at the counter and a few standing behind. No one came to help or ask, one employee went to stamp down trash cans that were so full that nothing could be added afterwards. What's going on here KFC? Was Frans Bouwer here with the hidden camera or something? I've been to KFC 4 times in my life and all 4 times there was something. Even (my daughter) got very sick after eating at KFC. After investigation it turned out that there was indeed something wrong with the cleaning protocol and preparation of the food. It should be clear that this was my last time at KFC.

Disappointing experience with children's meals and service We ordered and paid for children's boxes including milkshake and gift, but only received part of what was promised. The milkshakes were not there and there was no gift. When we reported this to the staff, they reacted unfriendly and started talking to each other in a different language, which came across as very unprofessional. They were angry with us, instead of solving it properly. At that moment there were at least four other customers at the counter with the same complaint. In the meantime, extra money was asked for products that were not delivered. The food itself was also very disappointing: it was cold and tough. Finally, the toilet was very dirty, which made the overall picture even worse. Unfortunately, no repeat for us. There is really work to be done, both in terms of service and hygiene.

As someone who always enjoys going to KFC, it hurts extra hard to say this: my last visit was a complete disappointment. After waiting 37 minutes, I received an incomplete order. The fries were ice cold, the Zinger burgers were rock hard instead of crispy and soft, and the orders were mixed up without any logic. When I said something about it and politely asked for compensation, nothing was done about it. The atmosphere was downright chaotic: staff shouting back and forth about chicken, no overview, no customer friendliness. And all this while you just come for a quick, tasty meal. This is not what I am used to from KFC. As a loyal customer, it hurts to say, but this was my worst experience ever with this chain. Very unfortunate.

BEWARE of this establishment I saw a lady who works there with her bare hands in a trash can and then she walks behind the counter and cheerfully continues with orders (no hands washed) + you wait quietly for half an hour for 3 milkshakes then you order medium and you get small you indicate that you don't agree with it you just stand there talking to the wall no money back because the medium cups were on bad tent often goes wrong but after this experience I won't be coming here anymore for a while (No it wasn't busy)

I actually never post a review but I am posting this because after a long time I had great service at the KFC in Zaandam today. That young gentleman who takes orders at the drive thru, was very customer friendly. What great service. That gentleman helped me kindly. KFC DO SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE IN ZAANDAM. And that gentleman who was at the drive thru today in the afternoon of March 28, 2025 around 5:00 PM, he was very customer friendly.

Been to this branch several times, but really shouldn't do it again. The zingerburger that I always order remains delicious, but the service here is really terrible. It takes ages for an order to arrive and often part of the order is cold or the order is incomplete. In my opinion, they are supposedly very busy with all the home delivery people and not with the customers who are present in the branch. They act as if they are super busy, but they run like a snail. In addition, the branch is often a mess, dirty tables and toilet without toilet paper.

I arrived at half past twelve, drive thru was off. So I went inside, and since there were no staff in sight, I ordered at the ordering post. This probably woke up the staff because one came, coughing and spluttering without a hand over her mouth, telling her that it could take up to 20 minutes. I told her I would like my money back and would go to the Mac next door. This had to be discussed with someone in the kitchen after which she came to ask me if 10 minutes was ok, I agreed as I wanted to try the lava hot wings. 20 minutes later... Yes, 20 minutes... I finally got my order on a tray even though I had chosen to take away... I had everything packed and since I was now in a hurry, I immediately jumped into the car. But to my great surprise I had normal hot wings instead of the lava hot wings... Besides the terrible service here, the ground was sticky on all sides and the whole place smelled like old burnt grease. I won't go here again.

Worst KFC experience so far.... waiting 40 minutes for the food. Everything was lukewarm and the chicken was tough. They didn't even have any fries sauce left, so they had to ask for an alternative. Never going to this KFC again.

I don't understand how this KFC passes inspection. Literally all the tables were dirty, there was food all over the floor throughout the place and my soles became sticky from the floor. Trash bins were overflowing. Tenders were hard and cold🤢 employees do not speak Dutch and very little ENG.

The staff appears to have drunk penetrating oil. Traaaaaaaag. Everything seems too much for them. The board with numbers which order is ready does not work. The numbers are called out in unclear English. The order is placed on the counter and people continue doing nothing. When ordering, a euro deposit is charged per cup, but you will simply receive a disposable cup. This is not called a QR code for the deposit machine. If you hand it in at the counter, they will simply throw it away. Saturday afternoon 5.30 pm: almost no audience in the shop. That says enough.

Yesterday at 4:56 PM, I placed an order with this FEBO. You could choose "as soon as possible" or from 5:45 PM. So it made sense that we chose "as soon as possible," especially with small children at home. But what did we get? An email saying the delivery time would be 6:00 PM... disappointing, but okay. What happened next was absolutely outrageous. By 6:20 PM, still nothing had been delivered. Called → no answer. By 6:30 PM, still nothing. The order finally arrived around 7:00 PM. Almost two hours later, with hungry children. And now for the worst part: the quality of the food. The fries smelled and tasted rancid, as if they had been fried in old grease. We didn't even dare give them to the children. The cheese soufflé had a foul smell and taste; I threw it away immediately. The grilled burgers and crispy chicken were dark and didn't taste as you'd expect from FEBO. Only the chicken burger was somewhat edible, probably thanks to the sauce that masked the flavor. Everything was also sloppily packed into a bag. Only afterward did I read the Google reviews: months of complaints about two-hour waits, bad food, and subpar quality. The owner responded that improvements were coming, but after so long, that seems like an empty promise. If you run a franchise like FEBO, there are quality standards you have to meet. This is bad for the brand and misleading for the customer. Can't handle the pressure? Then don't offer delivery on times/days you can't deliver. Or communicate it beforehand. It's not that hard. Conclusion: first and last time. You can't accept money for bad food and bad service. This was downright disrespectful to both customers and the children who ended up without fries.

We neatly ordered 1 portion of fries at the cash register to take away. Well, the blonde lady at the cash register was not friendly when she took the order. We indicated that we were sitting outside and whether she could call us when it was ready. Well, after waiting for 20 minutes, customers who came after us had already left. We walked to the cash register to ask. She said very rudely that it had been ready there for a while. Then when we got home, the fries were full of SALT!! Was inedible and immediately threw them away. I really wanted to go back to talk to them about this, but I didn't think it was worth it. But here is my review. I don't want to judge people so quickly, but it did come across as if the lady was a bit racist.
