The food is fine for what you'd expect. But if you go through the drive-thru, you'd better bring an interpreter. What a nightmare ordering here. I can't speak a single word of Dutch.

A 45-minute wait for "fast" food. And then cold, soggy, tough fries and a soggy burger missing the bacon. It's always terrible here, but this was the last time we fell for it.

Ordered at 6:48, got our food at 7:43. We sat down and started eating and all the food was cold, dry, and bland. The chicken sandwiches were just chicken nuggets + cheese on a bun while it was advertised to be a chicken patty. Service was poor and multiple families who ordered left with refunds, not worth the wait or the money, order somewhere else. Eventually went to another restaurant to have dinner.

Friendly staff, but dry fries and very slow service. Had to wait half an hour for two ice creams.

What an unbelievable mess. A staff member throws the tray after waiting half an hour. Ten people are waiting for their food, and it takes forever. No one in the kitchen takes responsibility. There's no direction. A real disgrace. Then I went to McDonald's for ice cream and found out it's actually possible! They're friendly there, and the order arrives quickly.

Slow and cold, even though it wasn't busy. Worst KFC in the Netherlands so far. The only positive was the crispy bacon. Didn't use the drive-thru.

They don't hire extra staff here. KFC thinks it's better to make customers wait an hour.

It's been so bad these past few weeks. Poorly speaking staff, okay, luckily we speak English and German, but what a disaster. Went a second time, a bit later in the evening, and arrived around 9:40 PM... beware, everything is open until 10:00 PM, but from 10:00 PM to 11:00 PM, only the drive-thru is open. A wait of over 40 minutes is a real luxury these days. Orders are wrong, hot wings are simply fried a second time!!!... Even the fillet bites are cooked twice, bone dry and tasteless!!!!... Too bad, KFC!!!

Waiting 45 minutes for your order when there are 10 people ahead of you is too long. Of those 10 orders, at least 5 were wrong. The restaurant is filthy, sticky, and the trash cans are overflowing. Better to drive a bit further to another fast-food restaurant.

Chicken's not too bad, but they *always* manage to screw up part of my order. Like that time half the fries were missing. Or when I had to wait half an hour despite being there being only 2 customers, including me. I'd recommend driving to Heerlen, service is a lot better there. Also, they discontinued the hot and spicy chicken pieces. Worst. Move. Ever.

What a tiny restaurant. We thought we'd just grab a quick bite to eat. Well... after 46 minutes, we asked where it was. The restaurant was packed, and they hadn't taken any receipts for almost an hour. The tables were dirty. The drive-thru had priority, or something. After 50 minutes, I'd had enough and wanted my money back. This took another long time, and after repeatedly asking for the manager, she reluctantly came to ask for my money back. After an hour, I left with the money and no food. I turned on the deep fryer at home. Hopefully, more people followed suit and also asked for their money back. And then they advertise with a big sign that they've been voted the best restaurant year after year. I wonder how... What a disgrace this company is.

This is one of the rare times I've followed my GPS to a fast food restaurant without checking the reviews, etc., and frankly, I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality of their bucket of chicken mix, a pure delight. One of the fried chicken places that blew me away, as they say, the only one that made me dream so much, was in Spain, and it was another branch. Great restaurant, quiet, fairly quick, and with good chicken :) Balmain approves

Second time that I went to this KFC and second time that they don’t have mais and after my long waiting they just tell me in the end when I go pick my order, so from there it’s already not very nice, so today I didn’t want to switch my mais for something else so since the moment they gave me the information to the moment I got my money back was in aroud 7 min, meaning when I got home my fries will be colds and the meneger didn’t even say me sorry, I don’t find a good way of working, the clients don’t like this, I believe like me are many others

One of the better KFC restaurants in the area. The chicken is usually nice and tender. But it's often busy, so it takes a bit longer.

August 25, 2025, at 8:00 PM Shortage of staff...that's probably the problem. Staff who really don't seem to be working any harder (which I think they're right about, as this has been the case for a long time, judging by the reviews. And if nothing is being done about it...why would you let them get you down and work yourself to the bone?). The drive-through was closed, and the orders kept pouring in. We waited a long time for our food, and we weren't the only ones. We had to wait 25 minutes, but a couple waited 45 minutes. It's a good thing you've already paid by then; you'd rather just walk away. The order was incomplete, and we weren't the only ones in this regard, judging by how many people walked back to the counter because something was wrong or missing. The trash cans were overflowing, the tables were very dirty, but when you're short-staffed, preparing the food takes priority. Still, this doesn't exactly reflect well on the business. The men's restroom was full of toilet paper, and someone had urinated next to it (I can't post a photo here). The women's restroom was out of toilet paper. We wanted to report this, but the staff was too busy. The woman at the counter looked at us but didn't seem to register it and didn't respond at all. So we just left. So, we won't be coming back here for a while. We'll just drive a bit further and go to Heerlen, hoping things are better there.

I wouldn't recommend it. I waited over 50 minutes for my order. The waiter called me back after 35 minutes, but smiled and said the order wasn't ready yet, but he kept calling. When it was ready for pickup, three items were missing. I reported this to the employee, who then claimed I was lying. Only after carefully checking the receipt did he realize his mistake. I didn't even hear an apology. The burgers were sloppily made. Again, I do NOT recommend it.

One star is still too much. I placed a fairly small order (2 milkshakes, loaded fries, a twister, and 2 chicken burgers). After waiting 45 minutes and watching the sloppy work, I decided to ask for a refund. By sloppy, I mean the few orders that were placed were incomplete (people kept coming back because they were missing something), and products were scattered on the packaging table. Then this employee couldn't give me a refund and called the manager. The manager then took over 10 minutes to arrive. He took the money from a cash register and had the employee return it. All in all, I waited an hour for nothing! No apology, and the manager didn't even dare come over to give the money back or apologize. Meanwhile, other people were also waiting an absurdly long time for their orders (some even longer than us). Don't go to or order from this KFC. It doesn't look fresh (many tables still had things left by people who had eaten there before) and the work done there is really amateurish.

The whole "fast food" concept doesn't apply here. You order at a kiosk and pay in advance; otherwise, everyone would leave. Waiting 15 minutes for soft serve ice cream and over half an hour for a hot meal isn't unusual. Without a doubt, the worst KFC ever.

I have been there twice. Twice Ihad to wait extremely long. Once only for ice cream. Avoid this place.

This KFC is the worst in the region. It's certainly not clean. Tables are cleared occasionally but not cleaned. The staff is certainly not selected for speed and customer service. Next time, we'll go to the Heerlen location.

It's a shame I can't give less than one star for service and atmosphere. What a terrible establishment and policy (well, something resembling it, anyway). The staff are too stupid to even count to three, all unmotivated, untrained, and disheveled, and apparently speaking or understanding Dutch isn't even a requirement. But KFC will tolerate that, since it keeps staff costs low. Every time with an order, something goes wrong, something gets forgotten, or you simply get the wrong one. Wings are often almost cold, and you can taste that they've been sitting out for a while. The drive-thru staff barely speak Dutch, and when you order inside, the staff (if they even look up) look at you with a blank stare (you know, the light is on but no one's home). Today again, I ordered inside at the only cash register. A female employee looks at me for at least three minutes but then hovers over the counter, doing nothing. I finally placed an order (a snack box with 3 hot wings), but when I got home, it turned out the brainless goose had slipped a burger into it. I don't go there often because of these kinds of unnecessary and worthless experiences, but driving to Roermond or Heerlen for a few wings isn't going to happen either, so during the once-every-four-months I do go, I'm holding out a little hope that it will be okay. 9 out of 10, unfortunately. A tip for KFC: maybe they should hire staff who speak Dutch and, more importantly, actually understand it so they don't just shove anything in their pockets, and their thinking capacity is higher than an unborn embryo.

Fries were cold, but were replaced when asked, hot wing bucket seemed dry/overcooked. Had to get serviettes as none were on tray, tbh have definitely had better experiences at KFC before, atmosphere... Was almost empty so can't really comment

It all took a very long time; it wasn't busy, but there seemed to be very little staff. They had to close the drive-through because they couldn't process the (7) orders they received. The fillets weren't cooked yet, and this could take a long time. The staff that were there didn't seem to be working any harder under the pressure of mounting orders. If you're looking for a quick bite, definitely avoid this KFC.

Understaffed. Two guys were shuffling around as if they had nothing to do, while the other two were running around like they were running themselves ragged. We had to wait over an hour for two menus. Orders weren't entered into the system, tables were dirty, food was cold, and the burger looked like it had been thrown from a potato cannon.

Unfortunately, there is clear neglect in the bathrooms. There is no caller, no soap, and there is a delay in bringing the order.

It takes at least 20 minutes for the food to arrive and usually even longer than that.

The people were quite nice, some spoke Dutch, a few didn't. The stair railing was filthy, and only one of the restrooms was open, and there was no toilet paper in the women's restroom. The tables were also very dirty and unprepared. There were very few staff, so everything took a very long time, and we had to wait 20 minutes for our food.

My boyfriend and I went here last Monday. We wanted to get KFC well in advance before we went to the cinema. We waited 25 minutes for our food, even though there were only two orders ahead of us. Because of this, we ended up missing the movie because we'd only have eight minutes to eat otherwise. The staff didn't pay attention to the guests. Another woman had raw chicken, and the staff just laughed at her. Extremely disrespectful. Also, the upstairs (where the restrooms are, by the way) is closed early. This was definitely my first and last time here.

Often many problems during rush. More often, the order is also taken off the plate even though it is not ready. Possibly to give management the impression that everything will be completed on time.

You arrive and the entrance doors don't work, so you enter through the side entrance. You're helped by an English-speaking Asian woman who I can barely understand. Then there are fries in the large container, fries in the basket, and new fries are put in when I get the cold ones. At least, that's what it seems like at home. I'm not coming here again! Oh yeah, the new app is absolutely terrible. They want to know everything about me. Luckily, it's now down to 1.2 stars. But KFC keeps insisting. How stupid!

Just good KFC, nothing more, nothing less

Ordered for the umpteenth time, through the drive-thru, and came home with half the price. It's not cheap to begin with, but apparently, it takes a lot of effort to process an order correctly. Oh yeah, after a phone call, we now have a credit. You'll have to remember that next time! No more Sittard locations.

First, there is a delay in preparing orders by the staff, second, I see people inside this branch upset about the neglect of deliberately not completing their orders because it is missing the potato cola. Apart from the fact that it looked neat inside, you can park easily and you can quickly place your order on a touch panel, the order is slowly announced, all in English.

Too variable; it depends on who's working or the order is complete. I've already driven through the drive-thru twice and had to turn around because I was missing half of it. If you eat in, you get your meal quickly and well-prepared. The quality is superb, crispy chicken that hasn't been under a lamp for half a day.

It's a disgrace! It's so dirty, they should close it down. The wait time is outrageously long. They put out a portion of ice cream and then you have to wait 15 minutes for the rest, and there's nothing left. You could stick your feet to the floor, and the tables are filthy, it's disgusting. The air conditioning is so cold that you have to sit inside with a thick winter coat. Not all products can be ordered via the columns (such as milkshake coconut, chicken salad, etc.) Drive orders get priority over everything. Let us wait at the window for 15 minutes, after we had been in line for at least 20 minutes from the order point to the window, and then tell us that the original burger still has to be made and that it will take at least another 20 minutes. Why couldn't that have been told 15 minutes earlier or at the order point? Really bizarre service.

What a lousy service, if they see you standing there you can't have a good day. They pretend they don't see!! And they just don't help you. If it was busy now I would say oh well but there was only one person inside and not a single car that needed help. I just left after 15 minutes without ordering anything and thanked them for the good service 😡 I will never go there again!!

Just went through the drive to specifically go for the pink Korean burger, I ordered a combo with the 2 wings included, wings were not included, plus the bun was just the standard bun not even seeds on it nothing and therefore not the pink variant... This was also not mentioned when buying the bun so you presented me with something that I did not get. Really very disappointing!
