Kip It Real in Weesperbuurt/Plantage

The fries were good but the chicken was chewy and the coleslaw had a weird aftertaste. For this price my expectations were higher.

Kip It Real is a POP UP right @ BOX SOCIAAL. After 5pm Box asociaal “transforms” into Kip It Real. If you ever visited Box Sociaal, you know that they make quality food. And their crew is amazing! They are very attentive, genuine and friendly. Again, like the crew @ Box Sociaal. I had The ‘Lord Cheesus’. A truly delicious mac and cheese with 3 crispy buttermilk chicken tenders and some in house kimchi coleslaw on the side as well to have add some freshmess. It is really really good!! Creamy, cheesy, crunchy, tasty goodness… Add to that some nice drinks (I had the homemade spritz non alcoholic ’basil & citron smash) and you have a great dinner for the early/late evening!! You won’t regret it.

If I’m honest, At first glance.. This restaurant looks a bit messy and not so clean.. like a easy pub. But I was too hungry when I was walking around this restaurant with my boyfriend. We said “let’s just try..” But we surprised. So much better than we expected. hamburger ingredients quality was very good and the staff was very kind. I like their special sauce very much. We’re sure that we will visit again!

I've ordered from Kip it Real multiple times now for delivery. It has always been delicious, hot, and fresh. They also have excellent communication. They were out of an item I ordered so they called and substituted it with the item of my choice plus sent a complimentary dessert. This was a very kind gesture and made my stressful day much better. I will continue to order from them. I highly suggest you check them out!

Ordered from these guys while we were in lockdown, hands down best fried chicken we have ever had! All the flavors were great, the dips were delicious and you can really taste that their products are fresh and homemade. Ordered many times after and quality is consistent. LOVE this place!

Ordered the Classic wings, Mac and cheese, and Burner burger. All were extremely delicious and well made. Have to say that this is some of the best comfort food I’ve had in Amsterdam yet!
