Klink's Bakery in Wijk 25 Mariahoeve en Marlot

An elderly woman who was in the store with me was looking for an apple pie. There were five apple pies. Usually, you can choose which one you want. The woman wanted one that wasn't burnt (which makes sense). But the staff thought otherwise and tried to foist a burnt apple pie on her, arguing that they had to go first. Luckily, the woman refused and left the store without buying anything. I then left as well.

I bought four orange cream puffs for my parents today. They were so old that the puff pastry was soft. Unfortunately, the cream puffs were several days old.

I still think it's a shame that the girl with the red lipstick and her hilarious colleague were bullied out. That girl allegedly stole cakes, but was back behind the counter the next day, and that woman couldn't even breathe properly for the manager at the time. It was awful to witness. The atmosphere hasn't improved after all this time, and neither has the service. The reviews don't lie, with a score of 2.8. You'd have to wonder why nothing is being done about it.

It's sloppy that you can't get a sandwich here at 8:50 AM, 20 minutes after opening. The woman behind the counter responded, "Yeah, it's early, right? Everything's still in the oven." I'm used to everything being ready at my local bakery when the shop opens. I couldn't try the food, but the shop looks fine otherwise.

Enjoy delicious coffee and/or a light lunch. We also offer all the quality products you'd expect from a bakery like this.

The cheese croissants are nowhere to be found, and on Saturdays, there are no more ham and cheese croissants at 11:30. Very unusual.

Bakkerij Klink is the bakery in the Mariahoeve shopping center. It's not a traditional bakery, but the quality is high. It's a shame that the lady who works there almost every day is, to put it mildly, not in a good mood, which is surprising for someone who works in the hospitality industry. That's a major reason I don't go there more often.

Unfortunately, as a resident of The Hague, you're often "condemned" to visiting Klink bakery, which often—and why??—takes the place of a better bakery. Of all the local bakeries, it's the least tasty and, moreover, the most unattractive. The Mariahoeve branch has a coffee corner: the coffee has been of absolutely no quality for years, a bland, tasteless cup. I wonder if anyone actually enjoys it there, or if you just accept it for lack of anything better locally. Today I decided to visit again because the new hype: "the crompouce," bright pink, shiny, and deliciously fresh, was waiting for me in droves! There was also a remnant of pale—almost white—discolored, cracked, and runny ones that were at least a day old. To my annoyance, I was presented with this tough variety. At checkout, the saleswoman asked if I'd enjoyed it, and I politely said the pastry was, frankly, too cold and stale, and that I'd been looking forward to a fresh one. The astonishing answer was: "If you wanted a fresh one, you should have let me know beforehand," according to the staff of a shop that advertises itself as selling DAILY FRESH PRODUCTS... What's the point of passing on old pastries? So tomorrow someone will be handed today's delicious pastries as old junk, and certainly not at a reduced price!

Old pastries taste fishy and also unfriendly staff, at 3.40pm they don't sell coffee anymore. Shop looks messy and staff sloppy.

I don't understand the negative comments here. I had a delicious croissant and coffee here, and the service was good and friendly. Just a shame they don't have a toilet.

I hardly came here anymore, but after today I certainly didn't anymore. After being asked upon arrival if I wanted to be helped, I indicated that I wanted to take a look. When I wanted to place the order (coffee and 2 currant buns), the employee indicated that we could no longer sit because the coffee corner was closing at 4 p.m. and that the bakery itself is open until 5 p.m. It was exactly 4:00 PM at that time and there were other people sitting quietly eating and drinking. So incredibly hospitable. They won't see me again, plenty of other customer-friendly - and also much better bakers - in The Hague!

The food is delicious, croissants for example. But the older blond-haired woman who is always there is really not friendly at all and always looks angry and hardly ever laughs.

Good pastries and bread friendly staff

Tja, ik vind de producten gewoon niet zo goed. Met uitzondering van de Heerendonker is het brood niet lekker vers maar proeft gewoon een beetje oud/droog. Vooral de pistoletjes en de zachte broodjes. Gebakjes of kaas, hamkaas, etc. broodjes zijn ook niet zo bijzonder. Sterker nog, Hoogvliet en Appie hebben betere kwaliteit. Maar t Heerendonker is bijzonder lekker.

Goede producten tegen redelijke prijzen. Ruim assortiment. Vaste prik en aanrader: koffie (met gebak) op zaterdag met de vrolijke, vriendelijke en behulpzame ploeg jonge medewerkers!

Es una panadería tradicional en Theresiastraat en la zona de Bezuidenhout de La Haya. La tienda afirma estar en el negocio desde 1795. Fuimos a probar algunos de sus pasteles siguiendo las buenas críticas recibidas. Probamos, entre otras cosas, las tartas de fresa por las que son famosas. Para ser honesto, habiendo vivido en París durante tantos años, no me impresionó en absoluto, ya que los estándares son completamente diferentes y ni siquiera se pueden comparar. Lo que más me gustó de la tienda fue su pastel de chocolate con ratón, ya que sabía bastante bien y se notaba que se usaba buen chocolate. En general, la experiencia fue aceptable. En el estándar holandés, es de buena calidad, pero en el estándar parisino, está bien.

In The Hague the bread and pastry shops in a slow way. So the Klink Bakery Mariahoeve is a very welcome opportunity. They are well-known in The Hague, started since 1795. Everything is fresh, delicious and large in variety. It is located in a small mall-like environment, not far from the center. Make your shopping and get a wonderful cup of coffee and snack here. A cosy, lovely traditional bakery.

Vriendelijke dames helpen je rustig en zijn goed voorbereid. De kwaliteit van de producten is hoog. Een erg prettige plek in en fijn en klein winkelcentrum. Drink er eens een bakkie koffie. Eet en heerlijke croissantje ... Ik ben er altijd met dan tevreden. Dikke pluim!

Ik zag dat de verkoopster het broodbeleg met haar vingers beet pakte en ben gelijk de zaak uit gerend. Nooit een broodje bestellen bij Klink!

Pastry is alright, very good appeltaart, but out of the few times I’ve been here the service had never been pleasant. Never seen any of the girl employee smiles. Pity.

Snelle bediening, ondanks de drukte verder lekkere belegde broodjes!
