Cozy coffee shop. Delicious meatballs and buns. Apple pie looked good too. Nice spot near the Albert Cuyp market.

Terrible service, we wanted to order a coffee and they didn't bring it to us, they only wanted to sell beer, the place was dirty and smelly, I don't recommend it at all

Ordered an apple pie and automatically got whipped cream with it? That's strange because the menu states that you have to order whipped cream if you want it. I think whipped cream is disgusting so I wouldn't order it and would have to pay an extra 50 cents for that fallen apart cream.

The croquette sandwich was not great, it had butter on it and the croquette was very hard. They were out of white bread, so I only found out after I ordered it that they no longer had it. There was no service so I had to order at the bar, price-quality ratio was fine, but definitely not a great café. Would not come back in any case.

Always pleasant, atmosphere for guests, in short, a nice place.

Place with amazing climate, and atmosphere of old Dutch bar/restaurant. I say this, if you want experience genuine Dutch place, then this is establishment to visit. During my visit, I was only foreigner inside. Which I liked, and enjoyed myself. Also, good snacks in affordable prices. I ordered Leverworst. It was very tasty, and good sandwich. Location is also on the street where famous market is situated (Albert Cuypstraat Markt).

Een gezellige plek om een bakkie koffie te drinken.

Hier begint of eindigt een mooi dagje Albert Cuyp markt ❌️❌️❌️ Mooie prijzen voor een goede start, brunch, of borrel. Sfeer is altijd prettig zowel binnen als buiten. Binnen lonken de Amsterdamse sferen, een echt "must see and stop" punt van DE markt. De WC'S ook altijd schoon.

Heerlijke koffie en gebak. De bediening is zo vriendelijk, daar kan menigeen wat van leren. Kom daar graag steeds terug na markt bezoek.

Super leckerer Tee. Tolle Angebote zum fairen Preis. Sehr Leckerer Kuchen und viel Auswahl. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich nur weiter zu empfehlen

Zo blij dat er nog een echte Amsterdamse eet cafe op de Albert Cuypmarkt is te vinden. Koffie huis De markt is nog echt origineel Amsterdams, en voor een geboren en getogen Amsterdammer stemt mij dat dan ook heel blij. Bediening, Koffie en dan die verse Appel taart alles is top een echte aanrader.

Top bediening. Heerlijke koffie, thee, broodjes, uitsmijters. Prima terras. Top!!

...a 'Koffiehuis" is a place where locals can be thereselves and that's exactly what the "De Markt" is...find it out as non-local and you will be also helped like a local 😉

Went there for a coffee. It was 'okay'. Presented in a glass rather than a cup, which was expected from a traditional coffee house. The reason for lower rating is that I didn't find the service friendly. No smile, not much communication. Had to stand up for a few minutes before we get aknowledged even though we were seen instantly and it wasn't busy.

Friendly people.. coffee other drinks and food is good.
