A gem. Beautifully decorated, fantastic coffee, wooden floors, comfortable and cute seating options, and bookshelves everywhere with a great collection of books. Even some board games!

Love this spot! Books and coffee, say no more! The service was amazing, the lady was so sweet and so uplifting! This has become my favorite coffee shop in Groningen!

One of my favorite spots in the city to work or read for a bit. The staff is super friendly, and the coffee art is truly incredibly beautiful! I've included some photos. All in all, AMAZING. Highly recommended.

A truly unique cafe with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The menu offers great drinks and fresh, flavorful sweets, and every corner has its own charm that makes the visit memorable.

They don't allow laptops in certain hours (actually in most of the hours) which is annoying, and they make no exceptions, so zero flexability is also a bad thing.

Incredibly delicious coffee at a lovely location

A lovely, homey place to sit quietly, read, or write. The wood-burning stove is a real bonus in winter :) The seating is spread throughout the store, so there's not too much stimulation, which is very nice. The music is usually soothing too. Very friendly baristas :) A few areas for improvement: 1. No gluten-free options. Not even milk if you're vegan or lactose-intolerant like me. (And many celiacs with me!) Allergen information is also not (visibly) available. 2. The store could use an upgrade, with (an additional) restroom, the messy presentation of coffee, and broken floorboards. The bar could use a lot more professionalism and design, which is well-deserved now that Koffiestation has grown so much :)

Maybe the best coffee in town But they are being ridiculously sharp with their closing times, I.e. no coffee for you if you are 1 min after 16:30 :(

Normally a big fan of coffee stations and have been coming there for coffee for months. They were supposed to close today at 5:00 PM but we showed up at 4:15 PM and they were already closing everything down. The excuse: it had been busy? Sorry, but that's really not possible.

Great specialty coffee that deserves the name. Great location in a library and across from a canal. You can also go twice :)

They don't make a distinction between a laptop and an e-reader so I had to read my book on a phone. This is totally ridiculous. An e-reader is not a laptop but like a book or a piece of paper, for the same activity. And mine is really not looking like an ipad. If you are going to be that fascistic about it, then send also all the people with mobile phones away. Ridiculous!

Really love the atmosphere and nice staff, my only wish would be for more pastries.

I loved the place and the environment, it is a bit expensive, but that's the Netherlands for you. If you are looking for a place to write in or read in, this is the perfect one!

Very nice coffee corner within a book store. The espresso was of high quality, and the cakes looked and tasted awesome. Very nice place to read a book or just chill out. The book shop was also quite large with a broad selection of books.

Een ontzettend lekkere gebalanceerde espresso. Bovendien zit je er ontzettend gezellig tussen de boeken. De bonen worden zelf geroosterd dus het is echt vers.

Best coffee in Groningen. As simples as that. They get the most out of their own beans and you can also buy beans for home use there. Snacks are also usually on point. Would give 6 stars if I could :)
