Krua Buppha Thais Restaurant in Zuid Pijp

Delicious food, pure flavors, reasonably priced, only a pot of tea priced at €7. PhadThai and Panaeng chicken very tasty. Restaurant was full on Saturday evening so reservations are recommended. Decoration is sober, towards the cafe and only 1 waitress, so a fairly long wait for a meal. In addition, orders were also being picked up, so the chef was working overtime and we had the impression that these orders had priority

Had a pleasant dinner with my friend here. First their tea is good, it’s not just tea bag but jasmine with flowers. Also their starters tastes good which is not frozen food that you can buy in the store. Tom yum and Tom kha are impressive, very layered taste. The lady who works here very kind and warm❤️ definitely will come back again.

One of the best Thai restaurants in Amsterdam. It was recommended by my thai friends and they were very right. Absolutely amazing balance on spices. Did the take out on the 2nd occasion and its sooo good.

I always love to eat here. The food is really authentic Thai and the owners work in the restaurant themselves. You really feel and see the love and passion in the food. Although the restaurant doesn't have a "modern" look, it really doesn't matter because the food is always great and consistent. This is what I appreciate in a restaurant. Thank you for being as you are, pure and unique.

I just ate there with my wife. These people dont know how to cook thai food. Period. Pla sahm rod was only overly sweet. Fried rice full of oul and tasteless. Then if you ask some pepper which should be standard on the table then they ask a few euros again. Terrible overpriced place. Dont go there.

All the dishes were cooked to perfection. I'm really glad to come there and enjoy an authentic Thai cuisine. What I really loved was that non of any dishes were sweet as a usually when you go to other restaurants. Congrats!

Lots of choice on the menu, staff does everything they can to serve you. Here and there some decoration and warmth is missing, but the food is of course the most important and that is great

Small but nice Thai restaurant in De Pijp. Beautiful dishes. Just as it should be. Not too much, not too little. Start with a spicy Tom Yam soup. And as a main course a green curry with coconut milk and vegetables to dream away. I am usually critical of restaurant visits, but there is really nothing to complain about here. On the contrary. Close your eyes, let all your taste buds take in and you are in Thailand.

Very delicious green curry, not had that for a while in the Netherlands. Loved the authentic flavour. I had Thai green curry with prawns!! Will definitely come back!

So friendly in there and the food was excellent . Service was brilliant

Stumbled upon this little restaurant by accident. We arrived at 6pm on Saturday and only 1 table was occupied. But gradually it filled up. Service was smooth and friendly. The atmosphere of the restaurant is light, tables not too close together. Not a lot of frills, quite neatly decorated. I often eat Thai and my sister-in-law is also Thai so I know how it should taste. Food was excellent, super fresh and tasty. You could hear people cooking in the kitchen, a good sign. Portions also excellent for the price, 17.25 for a steak dish. The chicken satay was delicious, 4 skewers with fresh peanut sauce. A bit pricey, 8.25. The neua phad phed should be very spicy (2 peppers) but was mildly spiced for my taste. I had white rice with it, which was served as a nice ball on the plate. My companion had another dish neua phad ghing with fried rice, and she also liked it very much. Too bad that the fried rice kao phad charges an extra 4.95. Drinks are reasonably priced, 3.25 for a soft drink is ok. All in all, definitely an address to remember and come back to.

Prima gegeten! Veel keuze en voor Amsterdam betaalbaar. Drankjes zijn alleen wel echt duur. Koffie €4,95. Pad Thai en een curry waren heerlijk. Sfeer is klein schattig Thais. Service mag alleen wel wat vlotter want we hebben best lang gewacht op bestek bij het hoofdgerecht.

Deze keer afgehaald. Word vers bereid waar je bij staat. Gerecht Bief met groente, heerlijk! En een pittige kip met groente, noten en mie. Heerlijk!

This restaurant was unbelivably amazing. I was having a hard day and started crying at my table and a staff member was very concerned and kind while still respecting me. The food was also amazing and worth the money.

Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaren. Niet super sfeervol, maar eenvoudige aankleding .Heerlijk Thais eten, superlekkere viskoekjes en dikke curry. Was wel heeel warm binnen, ventilator zou goed idee zijn...

Below average Thai food, Kong Kha down the Rijnstraat is much better.

We were looking for a Mexican restaurant that does not seem to exist anymore and therefore popped in here on the off chance. We got the last free table, probably best to book. Food was outstanding, service very polite and sincere. Not very big, but it is Amsterdam. Great flavour and value, possibly one of the best Thai meals I have had in a very long time. Highly recommend. But book or you might not get a table! Sorry did not take pictures of food, it was too good and had to be eaten.

We were looking for a Mexican restaurant which seems to no longer exist and decided to give this a try. Not the biggest place, probably 30 covers at most, it was busy but we got a table. We ordered the chicken salad to share and it was gorgeous. The green chicken curry and stir fry chicken with basil and chilli were also superb. A portion of rice and one of noodles along with a large bottle of still water and 2 small Heineken came to just under 70 Euros. Great food, charming service - probably need to book unless you get lucky like we did. Highly recommend. If you like Thai food and you either live in Amsterdam or are visiting you must go, you will not be disappointed.

Gezellig en betaalbaar Thais restaurant. Smakelijke maaltijden en een prettige service. Met buiten een klein terras. Ik heb er vaker gegeten en de verschillende gerechten waren allemaal lekker.

My wife and I called an hour before to book a table, which was ready when we came to the restaurant. We had the traditional Thai dish with red curry, chicken and coconut milk and more (No. 23 & 25). The taste was delicious and dished were nicely prepared and served by the the owners of the restaurant. Here you get "value for money".

. . . es realmente el nombre del lugar. Aunque 'Buppha's Kitchen' dice más o menos lo mismo: todo lo que he probado aquí está delicioso. Vuelvo aquí regularmente con amigos o, a veces, solo para disfrutar de una excelente comida tailandesa. . . y tenga la seguridad de que soy muy mimado (y adicto a) la comida tailandesa. (También suelo frecuentar otros restaurantes tailandeses cuando estoy fuera del área ... ¡Krua Buppha sigue siendo uno de mis favoritos!) Pruébalo si estás en la zona y hazle un favor a tu estómago con la cocina de Buppha y Ee. (Pregúnteles por sus pasteles de camarones. Ya no está en el menú porque es mucho trabajo de hacer y muy poca gente lo pidió ... pero hacen lo mejor que he probado. ¡Y he comido cientos! Así que tal vez regrese a su menú de esa manera ... ahí estoy esperando ...) ¡Buen provecho!

Wij gaan vrij vaak uit eten maar bij Krua Buppha schuiven we in de regel wekelijks aan. In al die jaren dat wij dit doen hebben we altijd heerlijk gegeten en de gastheer, eigenaar en (mede) kok heel erg leren waarderen. Klein familiebedrijf grootst in gastvrijheid en uitstekende Thaise keuken!
