The food is absolutely delicious! It's by far the best Thai food I've ever had in Europe! I highly recommend it if you want to get a real taste of the Thai cuisine 🤍

We came across this restaurant by chance. When we stood in front of the door, several passers-by said, if there is a seat available, you should really eat here. Very happy that we did this, good service, delicious food and we were allowed to take a seat even though we had not made a reservation. The vegetarian pepper leaf is highly recommended.

Seems simple from the outside but WOW what delicious food! Truly yummy and authentic Thai food, be careful if you say spicy you will get it! Curries were very flavorful and prawns were gigantic. And fried banana was gorgeous. Absolutely reserve a table or you might be out of luck. Fairly priced, if not a true bargain for the quality you get! I’d go out of my way for this!! kop khun ka!

I had the vegetarian Pad Thai. It was tasty, but I've had better ones and it was quite expensive at €17. But the service was very courteous and the restaurant was relatively cozy.

Very very good ethnic food and beautiful to look at, as well as to eat. The only flaw is that the place is a bit small and it's very crowded inside. However, it deserves all five stars

Very nice restaurant with a wide selection of food to order from. Careful as the food tends to be spicy, even the mild one we ordered wasn't very mild, but tasty nonetheless. The beef was tender and welll cooked, all the dishes we ordered tasted good. The spring rolls and the chicken satay were good appetizers. Service was very friendly once you pass the cashier ;)

Food is insanely good, pad thai and mango with sticky rice was a highlight but everything was soooooo yum!!!!!! Worth sitting under those bright white lights, lol! Fried banana dessert is also to die for!

To continue in my search to find the best thai restaurant in the Netherlands, I stumbled upon Krua Thai. The place got pretty high ratings, but as I know from earlier experiences, that says nothing. The restaurant itself is decorated in a fairly standard way, and the interior does not really give a warm feeling. Staff was friendly, but also really noisy, because they were talking a lot to each other. The Tom Kha Kai soup was okay but lacked in taste, and the chicken tasted pretty bad. The most surprised I was by the Kaeng Phed Ped (duck in red curry). The duck was really fatty, and the dish included normal eggplant and Italian basil instead of Thai eggplant and basil. When I said this to the waiter, he responded with: it's very difficult to find these ingredients in Amsterdam! Of course, I responded with: No, it isn't difficult. You can buy them in many places in Amsterdam, like Amazing Oriental and Don Yong, to name a few. Really weird to lie about this, and a cheap way to save money on quality ingredients. What's also very weird, I had to pay for the rice besides my main course. First time in all the Thai restaurants I visited that I had to pay for rice. The red wine (Shiraz) was nice. All together, it was a disappointing experience. Another tourist trap in the city center of Amsterdam. If you're searching for a good thai restaurant, I would recommend Sukothai in Amsterdam (yeah, it's pricy, but by far the best thai restaurant in Amsterdam) or Silom thai (modern, but great). Or even better, go to The Hague, Rotterdam, or Deventer. These cities got some amazing thai restaurants.

Exceptional Thai Food. Absolutely gorgeous. Had fish red curry and a massuman between myself and my daughter. We were both blown away by the tender meat and fish and wonderful sauces. Highlight was also the Meang Kham tasty morsel wrapped in pepper leaf. Glorious flavoursome explosion. A delight!

En nuestra primera noche en Amsterdam, mientras caminábamos por la zona de Dam Plaza, optamos colectivamente por la comida tailandesa para la cena. Mi hija localizó Krua Thai y nos guió allí. No estaba lejos y el paseo por algunos canales era pintoresco. Llegamos alrededor de las 6 p.m. (Creo) y preguntaron si habíamos hecho reservas. No lo habíamos hecho, así que estábamos sentados arriba. Había una escalera estrecha hasta su segundo nivel. Tenían unas 9 mesas allí. Los servidores trajeron menús y tomaron nuestros pedidos de bebidas (agua tranquila). Consideramos dividir 2 pedidos entre los 3 de nosotros dado que estábamos de viaje, pero el servidor indicó que el restaurante exigió a todos obtener su propia entrada. Tenemos un curry, un Pad Thia y un arroz frito vegetal. Esto en realidad terminó siendo aproximadamente correcto dado el tamaño de las porciones. A todos les gustaba su comida. Necesitábamos un segundo agua tranquila para la mesa. Hemos observado que otra mesa tiene una jarra de agua, así que tal vez se puede pedir agua del grifo versus quietud (? ). Vale la pena visitar este lugar si estás en Amsterdam.

Super pequeño restaurante de 3 plantas con asientos en el pavimento. Deliciosa comida tailandesa, tuve pollo Penang y arroz al vapor y estaba delicioso! El servicio fue muy amable y sonriente en general una gran experiencia y sin duda volvería. Bonita zona también, una tienda de gouda en la calle que planeo visitar durante el día. Varias otras tiendas y bares de la localidad. Bonitos puentes cerca de un paseo panorámico de mi hotel.

Tonight we went to this restaurant found by chance. There were 10 of us, the chef is very nice and very knowledgeable, he listened to all our requests. Excellent quality food. We spent 450 euros taking three bottles of white wine and several first and second courses and water. Prices high but average for Amsterdam. We'll be back 😃

I’m not a fan of Thai food but I will eat it if that’s what the rest of the family decides on. So I was pleasantly surprised when everything we ordered was better than what I was expecting. I don’t care to try exotic new foods but I did try an appetizer that was a flat green leaf with a bunch of weird crushed nuts and stuff piled up on top. It was so good that even I had seconds. The staff was very nice and professional.

The current rating of 4.7 doesn't reflect the quality of the food and service. The waiter was quite rude, insisting that we order at least three main dishes for three people, even though we had ordered alcohol and plenty of appetizers for everyone. The food was of average quality, and the shrimp in the curry were not fresh. At the end, they suggested we leave a tip. All these shortcomings make me unable to recommend this restaurant.

No se recomienda pagar con efectivo allí porque el cambio equivocado fue devuelto por el camarero en un billete de 200 euros y por lo que la experiencia allí fue un mal final porque los videos (eran borrosos) no podía probar que en realidad teníamos un billete de 200 euros y no con un billete de 100 euros como el camarero dijo.

You pay extra for rice with every dish, but unfortunately the price is not right here. The dish wasn't so good that I would come back. Very unfortunate.

Delicious food and friendly service. We had the stuffed chicken wings, massaman curry with chicken and yellow curry with big prawns, all were very good. You can get a good spice level here too if you ask for it.

Incredible food and lovely staff

This establishment was highly recommended to us for its Thai cuisine. We've eaten Thai food in a lot of restaurants and know a thing or two about Thai food. We even make it ourselves. What a disappointment! We ordered main staple dishes, Pad Thai and Panang Curry. The Pad Thai was run of the mill, passable at best. The Panang Curry lacked flavor and was poorly prepared, large chunks of dark chicken meat thrown into the sauce which was tasteless, did not take absorb the flavor. Similar dishes like this have nice slices of white breast meat in a thick coconut sauce. To boot the price for these dishes was over the top much like most of the restaurant food in Amsterdam, way overpriced and poor quality. Pass!

Do not arrive during peak hours (evening) The service became nervous and restless. The food is ok, but nothing more. Not to be compared to the original in Thailand. We didn't touch the Pad Thai dish full of fish sauce and didn't eat it, but that's where the attention ended, and they didn't really pay attention, not in trying to change and certainly not in the final charge. A restaurant claims to be excellent, but it is not.

Second time visiting and exceptional Thai food. The chef recommended the Meang Kham appetiser and Yam Kalamplie Tjee entree. The leaf wrap appetiser is one of my favourite dishes with its variety of flavours. The entree salad was outstanding, just perfect!!

Best Thai I've tried so far in Amsterdam in terms of food and service! Only disadvantage: much too tiny space inside and packed. The tables were too close to each other, I didn't know it was allowed. I was hearing the other people's conversations around me like they were at my table. And it felt like you had to be thin just to fit at the table, otherwise you don't have enough space. I am, but it felt a little packed to the maximum. So probably that's the reason you may see "Atmosphere" rated with 3 for this restaurant, I think. Otherwise everything was great.

It is without a doubt the best Thai restaurant that I’ve visited in whole Europe. I try to visit them every time I’m in Amsterdam and the whole dining experience never disappoints. I brought many of my friends and colleagues to this restaurant and every single one of them are just as satisfied as I am. Highly recommended!

We had a truly fantastic meal here. Delicious, authentic dishes that are packed with flavor. Wonderfully hospitable staff who are completely at your disposal and will help you with your choices. They also give very good information about all dishes. All this takes place in a beautiful authentic space without too much fuss. Nice and straight forward and a bit too tight! Furthermore, the beers are nice and fresh, the Espresso is nice and spicy and the dessert was overwhelming. I went home rolling. I will definitely come back here!
