We came here by chance, and after spending our second evening there, which was, by the way, fantastic with fried rice and tequila, we went back on our last night and had a great party. The atmosphere was great, the drinks were authentic, and the vibe was fantastic. Thanks again for the delicious soup; I felt like a kid again.

Can't recommend this place enough. Stopped in here because it was about to rain and thought, well we will make the best of it. Little did I know this place is serving up some seriously delicious food. Pad Krapow, chicken satay and spring rolls were all fantastic, and the kids loved the tea. I just read they are closing down their kitchen though, which is such a shame.

4.5/5 The Tom Yum soup was decent but rather average. The sour and spicy flavors weren’t very pronounced; it would taste better if it were a bit stronger. There were quite a few shrimp inside, and they were fresh with a nice, bouncy texture—very enjoyable. The fried rice had a great wok hei and was the best dish among them. There were some crispy bits mixed in the rice, which added a nice layer of texture. The seasoning was well done, and it didn’t feel greasy even after eating a lot. The Pad Thai had a strong tomato sauce flavor and was on the sweeter side. The first bite was very satisfying, but eating too much made it feel heavy and a bit overwhelming.

Fantastic, delicious and authentic Thai food, specialising in Isaan cuisine. The place really took me back to Thailand! The waitress was a lot of fun as well and kept us all entertained! Highly recommend the laab and pad prik - both superb!

Very good food, we had a beef pad thai which was really delicious. The server gave us tips for visiting outside of Amsterdam which we followed and we are delighted. Very good atmosphere

We’ve passed this spot many times, and had no idea it was serving up wings that slap harder than our GPS rerouting us. Honestly, we stopped in just to use the restroom classic move but figured we’d order something so we didn’t feel like total degenerates. Ended up with the wings and wow. Crispy, juicy, and that sweet and sour sauce? Chef’s kiss. I’d bottle it and use it as cologne if I could. Can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu. If everything else hits like those wings, we’re in trouble (the delicious kind). TLDR; came for the bathroom, stayed for the chicken

Not sure why it has such a high rating. The food was ‘ok’ but really not great. The pad Thai was very heavy on the sauce. The quality of the chicken - both the satay and in the pad Thai was poor. I came in expecting amazing Thai food given it publicises the fact it has the highest rating in the area - it was ok but not great. It wasn’t cheap either, but then central Amsterdam isn’t.

We had really tasty pad thai and khao pad lunch here. The place has a chilled ambiance, nice background music, and the staff was friendly. You have to order food and drinks at the counter, a perfect opportunity to have a chat with the charming bartender lady.

Best green Thai curry I have ever eaten!! Can’t recommend this place enough, the food was fantastic and so was the service! Really worth the visit and by the canals so beautiful backdrop!

Nice Thai restaurant, mediocre atmosphere, fast service

While we were studying the menu on the street, we were very friendly approached by a guest who was just coming out. He also advised us to eat there because it was good and affordable and because the service is so good. We accepted that good advice. And he was right. The food was delicious. Quick to the table and generous portions. The service was extremely friendly. Both owners (she Thai, he English) do everything they can to make you feel welcome. Highly recommended!

We were looking for something simple for dinner in the red light district. The service is good, as well as the quality and enough quantity as it should be in a Thai bar. Prices per dish are around €20. The place is small, about 4 or 5 tables, and then you have the bar where you can also eat.

Thai street dishes are all good.

I visit Amsterdam every year, but somehow, I had never come across this amazing Thai restaurant until now. I just happened to find it and I’m so glad I did! It wasn’t showing up on Google Maps before, but it’s truly a hidden gem. I ordered the papaya salad and fried chicken and both tasted incredibly authentic, just like in Thailand! The flavors were spot on, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The staff (or perhaps the owner) was extremely friendly and even spoke Thai, which made the experience even more special. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for real Thai flavors in Amsterdam. I will definitely be coming back again!

Was looking forward to coming here. Just walked in. Massively understaffed. I was placed on a table with an abandoned plate of Pad Thai. All tables inside full and not a single dish on any plate and people looking around for service. Walked straight out.

Today after an afternoon of walking in the city, we stopped by Thai Street Bar for 2 dishes. The pad thai chicken and the paneng curry with chicken, everything ultra fresh and really tasty! not greasy at all really authentic Thai food. I think this is my new favorite restaurant in Amsterdam. The staff is also very friendly. see you again soon =)

Moo Nam Tok & Papaya salad was better than my mom’s. So yes it was authentic and very good.

Was craving an Asian Noodle dish and found this spot via google maps. This was some of the most authentic Thai food I’ve ever had. Pad Thai was 5/5 and the owner was an absolute sweetheart and made me feel very welcomed as a solo traveler. Will be coming back next time I’m in Amsterdam

So this was not great of an experience. I ordered the “special” Pad Thai which was for 2 people. It apparently had “fried chicken” ??? which was just pre grilled chicken dumped in the fryer at the time of ordering. My entire group of three was questioning how great noodles could be accompanied by completely hard and inedible chicken. When we called over the server, and brought this to her attention, we were met with argument. She quipped that she is the chef and “imagined” this dish. She said she invented the special pad Thai and the chicken was supposed to be hard. Flabbergasted, I even offered for her to taste the chicken that we never touched and she refused saying that she knew how it tasted because she cooked it. I think it’s telling that she wouldn’t try it, but also I get not eating from the plate, but still. First, I doubt she invented pad Thai. And second, at any other restaurant, a complaint of inedible meat would be taken with respect and an attempt to fix it. We were met with animosity. I rarely if ever leave a bad review, but starting with dirty bowls, a bathroom without soap, and finally bad chicken pad Thai, I have to here. Maybe it was old chicken for my 3pm late lunch but it’s pretty unacceptable. I’m sure if you come in during a busy time you might not have this issue, but please do not order whatever the heck was touted as “special” pad Thai, because it’s so special that you can’t eat it.

I really liked being here today. The food was delicious, the people were extremely friendly and the whole experience was wonderful. Next time I visit Amsterdam I will come back for sure. Thank you!

OMG!!!!! This is the BEST Pad Thai I’ve eaten in the Netherlands. Chicken wasn’t too dry and overcooked and it was very flavourful. I ordered with Uber eats and was pleasantly surprised. Thank you so much!! You made my day.

The store is very well organized, giving the feel of being in Thailand, playing country music. Papaya salad with crab and fermented fish is the must. The pickled crab is really good. Very flavorful. The owner of the shop is very friendly and cute. I'll come back for more.

Fabulous pad thai and tom ka gai soup. Really fun/funky dining room with silly video but awesome music play list. A great find to keep the vibe going in a very cool city. Easy 10 min walk from Centraal train station.

Amsterdam's salvation! The food is very authentic and authentic Thai food, and the portions are very large. Two girls were very full after ordering one dish. They ate it for two days in a row. Highly recommended!

We grabbed some dinner here, as another local Thai place had a huge wait time - and we're glad we did! The waitress here is super friendly, and Thai! Super fun lady. So you know it's legit. The food was great, and it had some authentic ingredients that I've not seen many other places.

We had an absolutely wonderful night here! We went for the food based on previous reviews and it didn't disappoint, we had a chicken satay starter, then had a sharer pad Thai for the 2 of us, which was more than enough for 2. Brilliant food. Better still than the food was the atmosphere and the staff. Really friendly and fun vibe, we ended up staying at the bar for several drinks after the meal chatting, even got some good recommendations of places to visit around the area. We’re a group of 4 tourists, wanted a quick bite and found this gem. The owner was incredibly charming and welcoming. We had the whole place to ourselves at first and then it quickly filled up, so obviously others know this place is awesome. The food was great and big portions. We had green curry, fried rice, and pad Thai; all tasted very authentic and delicious, would come again and I intend to! We didn’t leave for a while, because it was such a nice cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The owner was very kind and hilarious and chatty and she even gave us a round of shots on the house! Customer service at its finest, tasty food, awesome and clean spot. Was a great choice and we encourage others to come here!

So tasty! We were craving some spicy Thai food and this is the place to be! Chef was Thai and we had a lovely chat with her as it wasn’t too busy in the restaurant. They use proper Thai ingredients which is a really special experience in the streets of Amsterdam. The portions are really big, we ordered three dishes (papaya salad, chicken krapao, and beef salad with rice) between two and ended up having to take half away. You could ask for less spicy but we wanted full on Thai level, and we weren’t disappointed! The drinks are also really good, overall would highly recommend!

Truly the best Thai food I’ve ever tasted! Stumbled across this gem in the search of some Asian cuisine and what a pleasant surprise. Flavours were incredible, hit the spot after a long day of driving.

Best Asian Food and the best Chicken nuggets for children .

I love Thai food and this is the best I have been in my life, I love cooking and tried to remake such a good dish as their coconut milk curry for years but always failed making me doubt if my memory was even real. I went again to the restaurant 2 years later and the meal was still incomparable. I really wanted this place not to be famous so I can comeback many times but I think they deserve the credits because at least this dish is magical.

Food was delicious but my god the wait was long… we waited about 50 minutes for pad thai. Then never got the check so had to walk inside for it. There was only one waiter/bartender the whole time. It’s also not a very inviting establishment. You want water? You have to buy bottled. You have kids under twelve? Can’t sit inside. Takeaway? They charge for the containers. I get there maybe be a cultural difference but I feel there’s better ways of communicating these things than the way they do.

Best Thai Isaan restaurant we have been to outside of Thailand. My wife Faa had Somtam and I had Laap gai. Both were delicious and really strong, just like they should be. So if you are looking for real Thai Isaan food, this is the place to go.

We’ve been traveling Central Europe for almost 2 months now and we were craving Asian food. We are so happy to have found this Thai place. We were the first customers for lunch and although it took a while to get our food, it was well worth the wait. They cook the sticky rice fresh and the veggies in the Pad Prik Kaeng tasted so fresh and not over cooked! And same with the shrimp in the cashew shrimp was cooked to perfection. We will be back before our stay here in Amsterdam is over!

Normally, I don't give many reviews to any restaurants. But this shop is a must. I went for a leisurely walk and had a few drinks. In short, I stayed for a long time, Mom. Rin is very cute. Good service, very friendly. Mother rang the bell quickly. Pour in the taquila as well as water. It's a very soulful cafe. Delicious food with Isaan style flavors It solves hangovers very well. Recommend you must try it 😊

Coming from a place with a plethora of authentic Thai food, I’m baffled by the good reviews (on food) of this place. The food quality is really mediocre at its best. The Thai milk tea tasted like Chinese milk tea. However, I gave 4 stars for the service level of the waiter. Having visited places with bad staff attitude, this waiter’s friendly hospitality certainly brightened up the mood.
