Lilly’s Thai take away in Binnenstad

They have good options for vegetarian and vegan diets. The flavour of their dishes are amazing and filling. Good service and quick for take out orders. It be nice to have delivery but not a big deal to pick it up.

We ordered dinner for 6 people here. It was ready on time, neat and nice handling. The food was tasty and certainly enough. I have no idea if you can sit here and eat your food - then it wouldn't seem very pleasant to me. Fine for collection.

I called from the car to see if it was possible to pick up my food a few minutes before 9:00 PM. This was absolutely no problem. What a service! Once I got home with number 42, all I can say is; if you like spicy with beef, order this dish! This is really good Thai! 🫶🏻

Very tasty food and lots of choice. They also have many vegetarian options. The vegetarian spring rolls (and chili sauce) are amazing! All food is well packaged and comes with all the necessary extra toppings. Delicious and well cared for.

Once in a while, a passionated chef dares to open a restaurant and just wants to share great food. Lilly's place is one of them. Her name is misleading as you can actually dine at one of four tables. Lilly fills a vacuum left by a great Italian trattoria that sadly had to close - Weesp is saturated with good Italian restaurants, see my previous 'Passata' review. Right, back to topic: what makes Lilly special? The food, quality and passion of Lilly. Lilly is the chef, and Ruud is an extremely kind host and manager. No aloof hipster here! Together they fill an Italian gap with Thai food that's above par compared to Amsterdam's Zeedijk. Lilly applies some magic in her kitchen and quite frankly: It's hard to find a better Thai salads at this price, take their 'Wan Woon Sen' salad of glass noodles. Delicate, fresh yet subtle spicy to give you a punch. A steal at a mere € 7,90! Another gem (e.g. as all their food tastes heavenly) is 'Neua Pad Kaprauw', stir-fried tender beef with Thai basil. For those who are not familiar with Thai basil: it tastes like nothing else, and has a slight sweet taste with an almost mint hint, very delicate. At € 12,90 with a big portion of rice, also a great deal. Compared to Amsterdam I can conclude that Lilly raises the bar, both in terms of their Thai cuisine and prices charged. Well, actually, not for the latter as she is dirt cheap. Check Lilly out!

I love the food. Combine with Singha beer. Always say thanks to the girls cooking your delicious meal when you leave, they appreciate & most certainly deserve it !

Mua no Thai taste at all! Food was lukewarm (5 min drive home) I'm not exaggerating but no taste AT ALL and anything but Thai. My shrimp dish literally contained 6 small shrimp. And the two tasty Thai beers I had ordered turned out not to be in the bag when I got home. Friendly staff but I'll skip this Thai next time.

Had a fantastic experience with catering through Lilly's for our party! We received many compliments from our guests about the delicious food. In addition, careful consideration is given to the menu, quantities and dietary requirements. Fast, clear communication and excellent prices. Thank you so much again :)

Super tasty and always fresh! It's really nice to be able to get such good Thai food. Get it regularly, also for work; There too I hear nothing but praise about the food. Good portions and the 2 sisters also help with catering. Happy with you!

Let me keep it short... Thai, yes, but in a basic way. Based on Chinese cuisine, chicken, beef, etc. prepared with a number of basic sauces. Tasty in itself but safe. I cannot find Thai cuisine with its diverse ingredients here. Too bad because that kitchen is so tasty because of all those fresh ingredients! The staff is very friendly and the environment, compared to Thai stalls, even above average but very basic. Conclusion...only pick up so drive there. Personally, I would pay a few more kilometers to taste more authentic cuisine. My advice would be... make the menu smaller but with authentic dishes and use the ingredients that belong to the dish...

If you want to eat the best Thai food you must go there. Its just amazing. I have been there many times and never been disappointed. Big portions, always fresh and very friendly service.

Delicious Thai food. It is a take away place, so no dine inn. However the food is great and worth the detour. We ordered way too much food for two people (we knew in advance) but we wanted to try several things, no regrets at all, and we happily eat it tomorrow and maybe the day after. The thud man pla (fish cakes) were a little spicy, the spring rolls were crunchy and filled to the brim. The satay kay came with a tasty peanut sauce. Their fried rice and noodles which you can order as a side dish are already lovely on themselves. The one dish I would order again is the pad Thai neua, however personally I would want to have it a little spicy next time. All in all, all dishes were tasty, not too salty and all tasted really fresh. Last but not least, normally we are not a big fan of prawn crackers however theirs..mmm, delicious so add a bag to you order and try them yourselves. We surely come back some time.

Super lekker eten en goede service. Ik heb afgelopen twee weken als twee keer hier besteld. In het bijzonder vind ik de pittige gerechten hier ontzettend lekker. Paneng Nua extra spicy is een aanrader. 👍🏻

Nieuwe recensie: Oude recensie is meer dan 2 jaar geleden geschreven. Ondertussen een vaste klant: grote(re) porties, heerlijk eten. Hele fijne zaak om te komen! Oude recensie: Recent hier eten gehaald. Absoluut niet slecht, maar gelet op de prijs wel erg kleine porties.

We hebben gisteren voor het eerst bij jullie gehaald. De kwaliteit van het eten is erg goed. Het smaakt heel lekker. Maar in onze ogen gebruiken jullie veel te veel suiker in de gerechten. We eten veel Thais eten, maar dit is echt te zoet. Ik zie dat meer mensen dit zeggen. Misschien toch eens naar kijken?

Best oke deze thai.Ben n echte liefhebber en durf te zeggen dat de smaken authentiek zijn. Nou nog iets meer cashew noten bij de chicken cashew,de groenten wat minder grof snijden,en de efficiëntie moet beter.Man staat altijd alleen,bij drukte lange wachttijden.Maar je kan hier prima afhalen!👍

Super lekker gegeten. Heerlijke gerechten en fantastische bediening echt een aanrader!

Vaak genoeg gehaald om er achter te komen dat de gerechten steeds zoeter worden. Ook de gerechten waarvan je normaal gesproken weet dat het lekker pittig zal moeten zijn. Peperstrengen worden weggelaten. De palmsuiker wordt naar mijn mening te veel ingezet om het voor de Nederlanders niet te pittig te maken. Erg jammer. Geen traditionele Thai (meer). De viskoekjes, saté en loempia’s zijn wel lekker. In de Massaman curry horen geen keiharde krieltjes en het zuurtje van bijvoorbeeld een limoen ontbreekt vaak zodat de gerechten die al naar mijn mening niet pittig genoeg zijn te zoet en te vlak zijn. Jammer, ik kom hier precies drie jaar na opening niet meer.

Super eten. De Saté is geweldig. Viskoekjes doen we een volgende keer. Hier kan je gerust lekker en betaalbaar eten halen.
