Food was incredible! Some of the best tom kha I’ve ever had accompanied by a very low key a very nice family environment full of locals, not to mention the great service.

10/10 experience highly recommend best thai restaurant in Amsterdam. Service was extremely kind and quality of food was excellent. Best Tom Ka soup I’ve ever had in the world. Also affordable!

red curry一般般 is normal ， but green curry is absolutely great 。 soup is amazing if you like sour taste. the amount of rice is too little，we added extra rice but still not enough。 servants are friendly ，hight recommended to go

This is one of my favorite hidden gems of the city. It’s a small place but very cozy. Service and food were amazing! The chef cooks in the same space so it feels like you’re at someone’s home. I have a shellfish allergy and they were able to accommodate the dish I ordered. Highly recommend!

Just before entering this restaurant, I mentioned to my friend that I don’t usually like Thai food. However, the cozy atmosphere - like stepping into a warm, really cozy space - was impossible to resist. And, modesty aside, I do have a knack for finding good restaurants. I decided to give Thai food another chance. OMG! I was absolutely right! Everything was incredibly delicious! The setting was perfect, the service was amazing, and I loved watching the chefs cook right behind the counter. We tried the Pho Thek (spicy) and Kaw Phad Tahoe (non-spicy). For dessert, I had sticky rice with coconut milk and mango for the first time in my life - and it was unforgettable. An experience I’ll definitely repeat!

Very tasty Thai food in a cozy atmosphere. There are only a few seats, which means you have to be patient if there is no space available. The staff is very friendly and speaks good English. The meals were very tasty.

As always, and I'm talking years, it was wonderful again. Everything wonderfully fresh and authentic Thai. It really is the best Thai restaurant in Amsterdam, located in a basement on the Raamgracht. The owner and cook is very friendly and works very hard together with 1 staff member. Reservations recommended

Loved this place! I dined in solo and ordered the chicken pad Thai. Delicious! It’s small inside, so being solo was perfect. I believe there were around 7-8 tables seating 2 or 4 each. It was nicely decorated and the two gentlemen working (serving and cooking!) were incredibly kind and efficient. I’d go back again in a heartbeat!

Very cute place with hardworking trilingual (dutch, english, thai) staff. There is one servier/host and one cook, but they have their jobs down to a science and you get your food in a timely manner. Also it's delicious and the rice is served in a lil heart shape which is adorable. I would highly recommend!

Beyond delicious! When I asked my foodie colleague for a nice place where to eat good and budget-friendly food on my own, she recommended this restaurant right away. The place is small and cosy, with nice typical interior. The atmosphere is very warm. Service is fast and friendly. And food is AMAZING! I had a vegetarian green curry with tofu and it was a true explosion of taste. Highly, highly recommended! P.s. I was so blown away by the curry that forgot to take a picture of it 😅 but that’s just a good sign!

Great intimate spot on the canal - limited tables in a basement setting with from scratch cooking! This may have been a fluke, but we had fried rice and pad see ew, both of which lacked flavor. The panang curry and mango sticky rice on the other hand were fantastic and some of the best we have had!

Das Restaurant ist sehr klein und schmal. Jedoch hatten wir Glück, da wir früh dran waren. Der Koch kocht direkt hinterm Tresen. Jedoch war neben dem Koch nur ein Kellner vor Ort, sodass er ziemlich im Stress war. Das Essen war frisch und ok. Hatte jedoch schon bessere gebratene Nudeln, waren etwas gar ölig.

Found this place by accident - a happy accident! Beautiful food, as good as any meal I’ve had in Thailand if not better due to the lovely service and atmosphere. Had pad Thai spring rolls and chicken and cashew nut stir fry with veg and it was all really delicious. Highly recommend and very reasonably priced

From the outside it doesn't attract any attention, but as soon as you go down the stairs and pull back the curtain, you are surprised by a small, super cozy and well-decorated restaurant that makes you feel like you are in a secret place in Thailand. The taste of all the dishes was excellent, in addition to seeing how the two chefs who manage the place cook your food on the spot, who are also super friendly and pleasant.

We discovered this place on a whim on Google Maps -- it's a small restaurant with steps leading downwards to a bigger space, with an open kitchen and two chefs, one who serves us most of the time. The seating is small and some may call cramped but we found it rather cozy, with the interior decorated with Thai and Buddhist iconography. We ordered a chicken massaman curry, a chicken pad thai and stir fry shrimp with basil leaves. We had satays for appetizers which were amazing; the sauces were most definitely made in the kitchen, although the chicken was hard to remove from the skewers. The food arrived and was served quickly, and the flavours were deep and authentic to our Chinese palettes. The flavour profiles remained diverse, and it tasted rich and creamy whilst not being too much. The spice level was on the more mild side, but still tasted hot and we thought it was just right. The staff were extremely friendly and kind, and although one of the chefs was not proficient in English, he still smiled at us and told us to enjoy our time in Amsterdam. We told the other member of staff we'd come back for sure, and we intend to, even if we do not this trip. I must warn that the portions are on the larger side, especially for the pad thai in my opinion. However, we left with our bellies full and feeling taken care of by a family diner. We enjoyed our time here and it is most definitely a highlight so far. Although we are not Thai -- we have eaten a good amount of Asian food in our lives and we can say with confidence that it is among the best.

This is a lovely little Thai restaurant, great ambience and fantastic food. The waitress was very attentive and food came quickly. All the food had so much flavour, from the spring rolls to the red curry and pad Thai. Would 100% recommend for dinner to anyone visiting the city.

We have dined there a few days ago and all in all we loved. The food was delicious we had some curry and we have been asked how spicy we liked our food which was great as I can't eat spicy at all. Also when we asked for some more rice it was no problem. Service was exellent, she was very nice and polite. It was a great experience to have dinner there and I can only recommand to eat there!

I recently dined and was thoroughly impressed. The Pad Thai was phenomenal, featuring perfectly cooked rice noodles, succulent chicken, and a delightful blend of sweet, sour, and savory flavors, also spiciness was in the sweet spot. The staff were very nice and helpful. This place is a must-visit and an excellent experience for authentic Thai cuisine. Super recommended 5/5

Foods so so and over priced! Used local vegetables and too much bamboo shoots (tin) in the dishes! The fish cakes nice and small spring rolls €4,50 too much! Inside full of leeks and taste strong!

Five of us ate there with two children and everyone was won over by the dish. The plates are generous and perfect for lovers of spicy dishes. The waiter was very nice and made non spicy or less spicy dishes for the kids. The prices are excellent from a quality-price point of view. We therefore strongly recommend this small restaurant.

First off, i traveled to thailand 6 times. Also i tried different Thai restaurants all around germany. For me, this restaurant is solid, i got the Phad Kra Pao, which tastet good - but not in an authentic way. I think it was to much soy sauce and not enough oyster sauce, also the rice could be more. I think the prices are normal for amsterdam. Good restaurant, how ever not good enough for me to come back. The service of the young man was perfect though!
