I had the best pad thai in Amsterdam! The entrance feels like walking through a window. It's a small but very quaint place, with excellent food and service. We had the spring rolls, which were fabulous! And then we had the pad thai, a fantastic dish. I absolutely must go back, in fact I will definitely go back! I highly recommend it if you want pad thai and you're in Amsterdam! Definitely go! Prices are average for central Amsterdam!

The absolute BEST phad thai I’ve ever had, and I’ve had it in 4 different countries! Loved the cozy, dim-lit atmosphere and the cozy kitchen. I’m only in Amsterdam for 4 days, but I will probably be back here before I leave!

We ate here today and it was absolutely delicious! The two chefs prepared the food very quickly and brought it to our table, and they were incredibly friendly. The two dishes tasted quite different and were both delicious. I highly recommend trying everything. I highly recommend this restaurant. If you're ever in Amsterdam and love good Asian food, pay this restaurant a visit! The portions are generous, and no one should leave hungry. I'm attaching photos of our meal.

We received a friendly welcome and prompt service. The food was freshly prepared and piping hot. The service was very fast. The ambiance isn't so nice, as it seems a bit run-down, but that's negligible given the friendly service and great food.

Some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had, and I’ve definitely had a lot of incredible Thai food. Our host offered the perfect suggestions for our dinner, and the banana rice dessert with coconut cream sauce was super inventive, high quality stuff

A hidden gem, most of customers are locals living nearby. Small space so you should definitely make a reservation in advance. The food was soooo nice and well-balanced. Chef and waiters were friendly always had an eye on everything, you'll never be left waiting for too long. Not the best presentation but definitely one of the Thai places that has the fullest proportions. Must visit!

Despite the restaurant being full, the food was served after 15 minutes. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was extremely delicious, and the ambiance was perfect.

Visited Raan Phad Thai for my second or third time and it was so delicious. I usually get the Phad Thai but this time took the recommendation of the Phad Ka Prao and it was very good. Highly recommend eating here for authentic food, great service, and nice environment.

Wow. Absolutely amazing dinner, service, setting. Best Thai food we've had outside of Thailand, and better than some there for sure! Small crew of three, run by the server Phad, if he wasn't trained in a Michelin star restaurant I'd be surprised. Tell him what you like and allow him to curate an experience for you. Flavors abound, cold drinks, great small scene. You're taller than the door is, but we don't measure awesome restaurants by their doors. Go. Enjoy. Go back if you can!

A real treat! We had a great time at the RAAN PHAD THAI Thai restaurant. The staff is really very kind and welcoming. The service was quick, and above all, the dishes were delicious, tasty and well presented. The setting is pleasant, with a warm atmosphere and the open kitchen right in front of you, which adds an authentic and friendly touch to the experience. An address that we recommend without hesitation!

Small boutique Thai restaurant that only seats around 20 people with 8 tables in total. Food is excellent with lots of flavour. I ordered the green curry with chicken which was packed with vegetables and almost like a stew. My biggest complaint with Thai is when it is too creamy but this was rich and fragrant and came to the table piping hot. Get in early as this place is in high demand - and rightly so.

Outstanding! Looks like nothing, tiny and hidden away but always full for a reason. Food is so fresh and so delicious. I'm not sure how the two of them keep going they work so hard and are so lovely. We found it early in our stay and had to go back for a second meal before going home. Need to book but worth it!

Potentially the best Thai food in Amsterdam! After a day of Dutch food, we were looking for something warm to combat the windy weather and found this hidden gem. The food was outstanding – the warm beef salad, green curry with beef, and tom yum soup were all perfectly spiced and incredibly comforting, like a warm hug. The only downside was the wait time. We didn't have a reservation and waited about an hour to get a table, and then another 30 minutes for our food. This is understandable as the place seems to be run by just two people – the owner/main chef and a sous chef handling orders, drinks, and desserts too. Despite the wait, the food made it completely worthwhile. The waiter was also very helpful, and the owner kindly shared some tips for a tasty stir-fry. Highly recommended if you're looking for authentic, delicious Thai food and don't mind a potential wait!

We’re looking for a place that serves vegan food. After ages of looking we finally found this and I couldn’t be more happy that we did. Aside from the food being reasonably priced and so tasty (portions were huge btw) the staff were so accommodating making sure our dishes are changed to our dietary needs. Thanks guys!

A very nice restaurant. The starters (tom yam and fish cake) are fine, the pad thai is delicious, but the dessert (raan phad mix) is the best I've ever had in the Netherlands. Definitely will come back again, particularly for the dessert.

red curry一般般 is normal ， but green curry is absolutely great 。 soup is amazing if you like sour taste. the amount of rice is too little，we added extra rice but still not enough。 servants are friendly ，hight recommended to go

Found this restaurant by chance on Google maps. It was an absolute gem of a place. The service was fantastic and the cook/server catered to what we like to eat. The food was superb and I would recommend to anyone wanting to visit

Just before entering this restaurant, I mentioned to my friend that I don’t usually like Thai food. However, the cozy atmosphere - like stepping into a warm, really cozy space - was impossible to resist. And, modesty aside, I do have a knack for finding good restaurants. I decided to give Thai food another chance. OMG! I was absolutely right! Everything was incredibly delicious! The setting was perfect, the service was amazing, and I loved watching the chefs cook right behind the counter. We tried the Pho Thek (spicy) and Kaw Phad Tahoe (non-spicy). For dessert, I had sticky rice with coconut milk and mango for the first time in my life - and it was unforgettable. An experience I’ll definitely repeat!

This is one of my favorite hidden gems of the city. It’s a small place but very cozy. Service and food were amazing! The chef cooks in the same space so it feels like you’re at someone’s home. I have a shellfish allergy and they were able to accommodate the dish I ordered. Highly recommend!

As always, and I'm talking years, it was wonderful again. Everything wonderfully fresh and authentic Thai. It really is the best Thai restaurant in Amsterdam, located in a basement on the Raamgracht. The owner and cook is very friendly and works very hard together with 1 staff member. Reservations recommended

Loved this place! I dined in solo and ordered the chicken pad Thai. Delicious! It’s small inside, so being solo was perfect. I believe there were around 7-8 tables seating 2 or 4 each. It was nicely decorated and the two gentlemen working (serving and cooking!) were incredibly kind and efficient. I’d go back again in a heartbeat!

Very cute place with hardworking trilingual (dutch, english, thai) staff. There is one servier/host and one cook, but they have their jobs down to a science and you get your food in a timely manner. Also it's delicious and the rice is served in a lil heart shape which is adorable. I would highly recommend!
