Krusta Pizza Bar & Restaurant in Scheldebuurt

My order was Gnocchi pasta and pear & gorgonzola pizza. The pasta was delicious and the mushroom flavor was clear, but the pizza had a strong sweet taste — the pear flavor was too strong.

Awesome atmosphere!! Wonderful waiters, kind owner!!! Congratulations for the perfect flavors!!!

We had a family dinner at Krusta, the pizza, wine tomato sauced meatballs were delicious - the pasta was a bit more average. For pizza - I’m always looking for a bit creativity for the toppings which was not the case. Service was kind and attentive. The downside was the volume of music for us as it was louder than typical restaurants but i guess that’s because they also call themselves a bar.

A favorite of mine here in Amsterdam! Incredibly delicious pizza, and the cheesecake is impossible to miss. Highly recommended!

I don't normally write reviews, but this place was simply too good not to. We had a truly wonderful experience here! We were immediately greeted warmly and made to feel welcome, it was super cozy inside, and the atmosphere was made even better by the fantastic music. Banger after banger. It was truly amazing; I could have licked my plate clean. 🙈 The bruschetta, pasta, and pizza were truly delicious. But the tiramisu really takes the cake; I still think about it. The staff was so friendly and super nice, which made the experience even more enjoyable! I highly recommend eating here if you're in Amsterdam. I'll definitely be back if I get the chance! 🩷

I am so glad I discovered this place. I have been chasing a truly authentic Italian pizza spot that is worth breaking my wheat fast for once in a while, and this one finally delivered. The pizza is genuinely fantastic. I have a very high bar for good pizza and they exceeded it. The dough tastes real and properly Italian, the crust is light and flavorful, and every ingredient feels fresh and well balanced. If you care about real Italian pizza, this place is absolutely worth it.

The food was delicious. The music was very loud; when I asked the staff if I could turn it down a bit, they told me people come for the music, which struck me as a bit odd. For that reason, I'm giving the atmosphere 3 stars and no higher.

The atmosphere was great and the staff were super friendly – we really enjoyed the vibe of the place. The pizzas were okay overall. The dough was actually quite good, although a few of them came out a bit overcooked. What didn’t quite hit the mark were the toppings — they didn’t feel very fresh, and we would have loved more creative or high-quality ingredients. Still, it’s a nice spot for a casual pizza night.

Nice place but kitchen&staff seemed to be overwhelmed by lunch rush. I waited at least 15 min for my order to be taken and another 35-40 min for a pizza margarita to arrive. It was very good an appropriately priced but the waiting time took a lot if joy out of it.

My favorite pizza bar restaurant in Amsterdam. A nice, not too extensive menu. Delicious, original, fresh pizzas from the pizza oven right in front of the restaurant. A fun, trendy atmosphere, delicious mocktails, and great service. Highly recommended: the vitello tonata (fresh!), the pear gorgonzola pizza, and of course, fresh tiramisu. The tables are a bit small, but that shouldn't spoil the fun. They also have a lovely terrace. 🥰

I recently visited this restaurant and, unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. The salad and pasta were not up to the mark. The pasta was extremely undercooked and the truffle sauce had no truffle flavor at all. It was all very dry and lacked moisture. The pizza was okay, but I’d definitely recommend Pizzabakkers if you’re craving pizza. Additionally, the service was quite poor. The staff seemed clueless about the menu and didn’t provide good customer service. :(

Such a hidden gem. Amazing pasta, focaccia, burrata, desserts - in all, food was great. Particularly loved the gnocchi and my friend had the carbonara which she absolutely devoured. Great selection of wines and top notch service (which is very rare for Amsterdam) Basque cheesecake is a must try. Overall 10/10.

I do really like the place in terms of decor. The guy who was serving us was not great, very mediocre hospitality. Funny that I was still eating the last slice and he asked if he could take my plate away (?) As some others said in the reviews, the dough is really good but the toppings dont. I dont mind a smaller selection of pizzas, i think its smart and you camn focus on better products. Unfortunately the topping ingredients were not high quality and the combinations just didnt make sense (even though they are very "standard ones" like burrata and mortadella). This latter one had no real burrata but more like a cheese cream so that they can probably use less burrata per portion, a TON of a pistachio cream that was super fatty, and drenched in olive oil too, which doesnt add anything to a dish that is already full of fatty ingredients. My friends got piccante pizza and those were a bit sour, so heavy on the stomach and just not really good. They had this weird orange sort of sriracha sauce on top that didnt fit the pizza. Vey sad, they ruined an excellent dough. And take out the music, its a restaurant not a bar...

We had a drink , and there was an ant in the cocktail . They changed it, but we asked for a discount , and they said no. The wine was terrible

The portions were big, and you could really tell the chef and the pizza guy worked their magic — the food tasted amazing. The staff were super friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Just a really nice place to enjoy good food. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area.
