Taken al dente a bit too far. Pasta wasn't cooked through. Arrabiata had no spice to it, could easily have been napoletana.

Great restaurant with super friendly staff!

There seems to be a reason for the 4.5 star rating.. The pizza baked in the wood-fired oven seems to give you a taste of local Italy.. I wish the music was a little quieter..ㅎㅎ

The food is fantastic and I would have scored this restaurant five stars if the music inside wasn’t as loud… we had our coffee and dessert somewhere else because the loud music was too much.

The Krusta Pizza Bar in Amsterdam impresses with its stylish ambience and relaxed atmosphere ✨ The service was friendly, attentive and pleasantly unobtrusive. We had the pizza with mortadella and the spaghetti carbonara - both excellent, freshly prepared and beautifully presented 🍕🍝 For dessert there was baklava - simply terrific, perfectly sweet and wonderfully crunchy! A real highlight at the end.

So. The pizza dough was fluffy like you want for a Neapolitan pizza, good. I regret a bit the lack of options on the menu, even more so for vegetarian pizzas. The desserts didn’t really make anything better. I really liked the design of the menu, but sadly the very dimmed lights make it close to impossible to read, leading to everyone using the flash of their phone to see anything. Music is very loud so if you’re in party mode, all good, if you come for a cosy date night and a nice conversation, not so good.

Recently we visited a cozy pizzeria and we were really impressed! From the first moment there was a warm and friendly atmosphere, and the staff were simply fantastic. You rarely come across such attentive and caring service: all our wishes were fulfilled immediately, always with a sincere smile and the will to make us completely happy. The food was truly excellent. The pizza was the stuff of dreams — a thin, perfectly cooked crust with a rich and full flavor. The pasta with tomatoes and a delicious sauce was a culinary delight: aromatic, full and perfectly balanced. And the bruschetta… love at first bite! Crispy bread, fresh ingredients and a delicious flavor combination. Thank you🙏🙏🙏

I think this place is only intended for yuppies, so maybe they will treat you well. What bad service. Waiter could learn some manners, if you can't handle the "busyness" you might not work in the catering industry... And on top of that, terrible vulgar music.

Service is not great, unfortunately the food is not at all. They want to radiate something different from a regular Italian, but that didn't go well. Irritatingly loud music that is completely out of character for an Italian restaurant and the chairs and tables are too small.

Unfortunately a very poor price-performance ratio! The pizza was also very tasteless. Very unfortunate.

Overpriced, and the staff gave the impression they wanted to be anywhere else. The pizza dough was dense and chewy, the gnocchi was greasy, and the charcuterie board was just some cured meats thrown on a regular plate. It was also the only place we dined in Amsterdam where we felt almost forced to tip, as the waiter presented us with a tipping screen in Dutch, and didn't explain how to close it.

Tried to visit this place. Service was awful and rude. After 15 mins, waiter was surprised when I asked for a menu. Gave up and went somewhere else. I guess they have more space than they can manage.

Really great time at Krusta. I would say it’s kid friendly, there’s no kid menu but they are able to make kid portion pasta. Service was super attentive and friendly. We had spaghetti carbonara, gnocchi, and pizza. Everything was great, the only small tiny complaint was the portion size could be a bit bigger. Still we would definitely be back!

Overall, very nice pizza. Good thickness and crustiness all around. The crust was satisfying without being too hard, and the base held up well under the toppings. Sauce was flavorful and well-balanced, not too sweet or acidic. Cheese was nicely melted and evenly distributed. Would recommend after an event at the RAI.

Good was wonderful and the service was great. Just a little loud for a Wednesday night when we were trying to catch up and have a conversation.

Absolutely outstanding Neapolitan style pizza. Can’t recommend them more. Got a pizza order and made in under 5 minutes and it was the perfect size for a reasonable price.

Highly recommend this spot! The pizza is delicious, supertasty due to the high quality ingredients. The staff is very welcoming and the vibes are cosy and casual.

Was here last weekend. It is a small, neat restaurant, but it quickly gets busy. The staff is super friendly. The pizzas were perfect and the basque cheesecake was the tastiest dessert I have ever eaten. We will come back here again soon.

We had spaghetti carbonara, the plate was small and the pasta was much too peppery, however the Margherita was excellent. The servers were nice and helpful.

For work reasons I have gone to this restaurant two days in a row to eat, and I would have no problem repeating a third time. The first day I ordered a carbonara 🥓, and the second the spicy pizza 🍕. Both things are quite delicious, although, for my taste, there is too much sauce that they put on that pizza. Both the waiter on the first day and the waitress on the second day were very friendly and attentive 😊. The restaurant looks clean and nice, the terrace is also very nice. I leave you photos of the menu because I see that someone made a mistake and uploaded some photos of the restaurant next door. A reduced letter, which gives me confidence 👍🏽.

Was in town for a work event and went to Krista for lunch. Pizza, cheesecake and espresso were all perfect.

Great pizza, nice service, but ridiculously loud music. Added to that a bottle of stilwater for €7,25 feels like a slap in the face. Would have ordered more and stayed longer if the music wasn't so loud.

We had a great dinner at Krusta! The spicy pizza was delicious (I actually did not put the spicy sauce because the salami was already spicy enough for me) if you are not a spicy lover, maybe ask them to give the sauce on the side for you to test the spiciness. Our waiter Boy was very helpful and we had great service all the time! Will definitely be back

I am sure the food is lovely and I wish I was not seated if they were understaffed. I would have gladly done a takeaway but was ignored in my seat for about 15 minutes. Was not even given a menu. I left when I noticed other patrons were being serviced who showed up after me.

We ordered pizza from Krusta last night and it was wonderful - the flavours, textures, the fresh ingredients and the dough! We will definitely be picking up more pizzas from then in the future.

Amazing food - very small menu - but that makes choosing easier and ensures quality of products!

We had a quick dinner there. Seeing the reviews I felt quite positive about this new place. Pizza was way too saucy, killing all other taste. The table was wiggly and way too small to actually cut the pizza with a unsharp knife. Unfortunately the drinks weren’t good either. Aperol spritz totally flat and way too sweet. When ordering a Negroni, the waiter didn’t know what it was, and eventually forgot it. However added in our bill. The only positive thing I would say was the music and the interior.

Had a great lunch yesterday. At this restaurant, the pizza was fresh out of the wood fire oven and had the perfect crust, the pasta sauce was also consistent and fresh, we tried Tiramisu however that was less than what we expected and didn’t feel that fresh. We will try Arrabbiata pasta next time as that veg option we didn’t try in this first attempt

Had a takeaway pizza. The truffle pizza is excellent. At Krusta you get a very nice balance between the truffle taste, the salty cheese and the mushroom. Most restaurants just make it very salty and you cannot taste the truffle. Also had a pizza margherita with olives. Also tasty. Service was very friendly and they are very accommodating to the locals. I regret not sitting down, atmosphere looks bussin’

We arrived here very late, but were extremely well received. Despite the late time, we were still allowed to order, which we greatly appreciated. The service was excellent, and we were helped very well by Boy, who was very friendly. The pizzas were really delicious, fresh and perfectly prepared. Definitely recommended! 👌

What a nice Italian! Both the pizza and pasta were delicious. Dessert and starter also great. Only point; the drinks are quite expensive…4.5 euros for a coke is a bit too much.

Had a delicious lunch at this trendy Italian/Greek pizzeria. All ingredients and dishes were fresh and you can taste that. The pizza dough is wonderfully airy and thanks to the stone oven it has a wonderful smoky aroma. The sesame seeds on the crust was a pleasant addition that I would like to see at other restaurants. The service was also very friendly and regularly asked if everything was to your liking. It's not cheap, but luckily everything was delicious.

Very nice restaurant with a small choice of delicious dishes (pizza and pasta). The prices are a little high but the quality is there! On the other hand, the 7€ bottle of water is still excessive…

Ordered pizza via Uber Eats. This one was delicious. Although I don't live close to the restaurant, the delivery person arrived within half an hour. They currently have a very nice promotion with 2 Margarita pizzas for the price of 1 when delivered via Uber Eats.

Good food and service. It was a bit dark, which made the menu difficult to read.

We stopped for lunch and the place was quite empty. Service was very friendly and professional (rare in Amsterdam). The menu is missing soft drinks which I find weird as we could order them just fine. The pizzas were great, only the pistachio one would deserve a but more basil, to compete with other similar ones in the city. The dough itself was perfectly chewy and soft, picante pizza was delicious.

Krusta Pizza Bar & Restaurant is an absolute highlight in Amsterdam! The bruschetta was the best I've ever had - simply outstanding. The pizza with gorgonzola was very good, and the pasta arrabbiata was fantastic: perfectly flavoured with just the right amount of spice. This restaurant is a must for anyone coming to Amsterdam. An absolute recommendation!

This was the first place we ate at upon arriving in Amsterdam. Since we enjoy Italian cuisine, it felt like a safe choice, and it was conveniently close to our hotel. The food was good, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Overall, a great start to our trip!

Lovely handmade wood fired Pizza and pasta

The food was tasty and the quality was great. It was an Italian cuisine with Greek influence (hard to imagine, right? ) However, there were a few things that I didn’t like. There is an open kitchen and you can see what happens, so there is one barman/waiter/cashier who was adding the basil/oil etc on the dishes before serving them. That’s an absolute no. Why should a person serve, touch a POS and have contact with food? Apart from that there were flies in the restaurant which I don’t know how it happened on a December night but affected me negatively. Otherwise good.

We went to this restaurant on a Sunday for dinner it was rather quiet and cozy. Our overall experience was great! Super nice interior and atmosphere! We really liked how they made the bruschetta differently and the pizzas were amazing, simple and super fresh taste! Also really nice and attentive staff! We really enjoyed the food and everything else definitely will go back here again!

Came here sporadically with a group of friends while walking around the city. The location gave us a warm welcome and we were able to sit down and order immediately. The tables were quite small for two pizza plates and not entirely ideal for cutting your pizza. By the way, the pizzas were very tasty, although they could have paid attention to the burnt bumps and the crust edge ensured that you were well filled. Pasta was very positive indeed. Staff did not speak Dutch and occasionally forgot a beer or its size, but that was manageable.

Although a bit pricey for what you get, I had a good time during my quick lunch at Krusta. The Cacio e Pepe that I got was good, but a bit heavy on the cheese - as it almost completely covers the paper. The service was less than optimal - I was ignored for quite a while after taking a seat and when someone finally approached me, they asked "is there something you want?" When I didn't even have a menu. In the end, while paying, I got one of those paying terminals that make you choose a tip or no tip while the host is there to watch your choice. I understand this probably works very well for them, but that alone made me not want to go back in the future.

Came here for a quick lunch. Friendly owner/manager. Asked after eating if everything had tasted good, and indicated that one of the dishes contained a little too much salt (this can of course happen). He immediately removed the dish from the receipt without me asking. Great service!

Ordered pizza via Uber Eats here. 2 times pizza margherita where we ordered a number of extra toppings (for almost 10 euros). Toppings are not added and pizza are extremely small as shown in the photos. Pizza was very tasty, I have to be honest, but for this quantity and for this price, including forgetting all the toppings, I have to give 1 star.

We had to wait a little bit to get our menu but after that it was top service and the foooood it’s sooooo good! It was so delicious and yummy! :)

I just ordered pizza and the pizza I got was super small. Also, it tasted like mushroom soup even though it was supposed to taste like truffles.

The food and service was great! It was too dark to read menu though, so we and many other people had to use the flash light 😅 Also, the music was VERY loud, I could hardly hear my friend and had to shout so hard that my throat hurt.

Visiting the city and wanted to get a quick bite before we walked around. It was not what we expected--it was way better! We tried the meatballs and the margherita pizza. The flavors were wonderful. We needed a recommendation for a store in town and our waiter helped us look online to find just what we were looking for. It was a great experience!
