Had a wonderful dinner with Ku kitchen and their amazingly friendly and attentive staff. The menu was a little limited but the options are a 10/10, especially with a sake pairing. All in all a very nice experience which we will definitely remember !

Very nice place that reminds me a bit of Japan. I think the owner is Japanese, very kind, as is all the staff. I recommend making a reservation because it's always busy. I had fabulous sushi, highly recommended.

I am so glad I visited Ku Kitchen. The sushi was some of the best I have ever tried. I highly recommend getting the aburi sweet miso salmon. We ordered 2 lots because it was so delicious. The staff were all so lovely and helpful. I would fly back to Amsterdam just to visit this restaurant again.

We had a very nice dinner today. The food is very good and tasty. The onsite ‘torching’ of the Shushi dish was very creative and unique experience for me. The ribeye stake with miso sauce was amazing too. The service can be a bit better, I think the restaurant is short stuffed and the limited stuffs are running and working very hard to meet the demand of their customers. Overall a very nice experience.

First night in Amsterdam and came here for a late night dinner. The food was very good, the wagyu slider, torch scallop and oyster were my favourite. Nice cozy spot with good vibe.

Ku Kitchen is my go to for Sushi in Amsterdam. It's not cheap (20 euro minimum for a sushi roll of 8 pieces) but the food is always excellent. You must book in order to get a table, i've never been able to get a walk in. Service can be hit or miss, a few times we have been waiting a long time for drinks to arrive, and food can sometimes come before, which personally i really don't like. Will always go back due to amazing sushi, but maybe only on payday!

We have had a lovely tasty dinner at Ku Kitchen the other evening. Food was indeed good as expected. The down part was the “fast food speed feeling” : still having a bite in the plate and personal was already at the table to pick the plate and ask if other things are needed. Understand the need of turning the tables fast per evening, but that hurry hurry part gave the feeling of time pressure of ending dinner shortly after beeping served. We have stayed little over 1 hour. ( we were 3 persons). No second drink since feeling of speed up was integrated in decor. So ok … but … not really dinner feeling restaurant.

Great food, drink and service. There are vegan options. The only downside is that if you sit at the high table and chair, it’s not very comfortable and the space is small. Water for 8€.

What a lovely place. Very delicious sushi and sashimi. wagyu burger is a pleasant surprise. Staff is super friendly. Since we were with a small baby they hosted us so good and arranged everything so well I was very impressed. Thank you Ku. It was the perfect start to our Amsterdam trip.

Excellent sushi and other japanese dishes. The sashimi sets are recommendable. Minus one service point for constant complaining of the barkeeper about the bar not being cleaned up by the previous shift and then adding a bottle of sake instead of one drink to our bill.

The food was simply amazing! Only negative thing is that they charge a bottle of tap water 8€! What?

The best Japanese cuisine I've ever tried. Sashimi, sushi, tuna and all other things served perfectly fresh, as well as very friendly service. Worth to visit for sure. Asahi beer, bentobox and 1 oyster = ~50 euro. Update: few days after 3 of us got sick probably after oysters. 4th person didn't eat them and feeling perfectly fine, so I blame oysters. Restoraunt handled that case and offered us a good benefit. Other than that all was amazing

Maybe just us, but we felt the quality of the food was pretty mediocre, except for gyoza, they were over-fried. The staff were nice, but the food should be the key for a restaurant.

Recently ate here with a friend of mine. One of the few restaurants in Amsterdam where almost every item on the menu is delicious. The sushi here is amazing! But don't be fooled, the other dishes are great too! It can be quite crowded. Nonetheless, definitely a visit worthy if you are in town👍 Recommendations: - The salmon flambé nigiri🥰 - The seasonal salad💦 - (V) The vegeterian Ku sliders are a great choice for a main if you do no eat meat🌱

Excellent service, very kind and attentive staff. Food is great. We got the sticks and sushi tasting menu for 2, and everything tasted great. If you’re a sushi fan, I’d heavily recommend the sashimis, they clearly have high quality fish. Pictured is the miso pudding (also delicious). Atmosphere 4/5 because I’m not a fan of shared tables.

Not a good experience at all, specially with the service and the quality of food. A very annoying waiter together with (unnecessarily) deep fried food dripping oil. Had been here a couple of times before and felt this time around the quality of things had rather gone down. Would not return here, surely

Ku kitchen is placed in the heart of Amsterdam and is easily accessible from any part of the city. The interior is clean, modern and yet still has the Japanese warmth of a local restaurant. The food is excellent and the ingredients are carefully chosen and put together. The miso marinated rib-eye was a wonderful suggestion and prepared perfectly. Make sure to not miss out on this one!! Our host was very friendly, expedited our order quickly and made our evening wonderful! One of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had!

Reason for 4/5 stars only because it took quite a long time even to get drinks. However, after getting our food and drinks, everything were perfect! Maybe one extra waitress could help to tackle this bottleneck😏

The best sushi I've ever had in my life. The first time we came to Amsterdam we were lucky enough to find this restaurant and we were delighted by the flavor of the dishes. We returned after a month and once again it was perfect. Thank you very much for the gastronomic experience, whenever we have the opportunity to return to this beautiful city we will not leave it out of our itinerary.

We are always happy to come back and spend a dinner night in here! A little time travel to Japan, authentic Japanese food in Izakaya style which comes with a western twist. Many vegan and vegetarian options on the menu too!!! Ask for the special meals and cocktails!

Loved the sushi bento box. It’s a nice variety. A bit pricey, but I think pretty worth it. The Wagyu burgers weren’t as nice. I kind of expected a different texture and taste. It tasted like a normal burger. I also felt like the cheese was a bit overwhelming in taste. Other than that I did like the staff and interior. Very cozy and nice wall paintings.

The food and drink was terrific! The service was very friendly and quick. As the other reviews have already described, the background noise there is quite loud, but it didn't bother us at all. We will definitely come to eat here again. Keep it up, your visit was great!

Had dinner here with sushi. It was delicious, especially the Aburi Salmon and Hotate. The place was quite packed and not the most friendly staff. However, those Aburi nigiri are definitely worth it to come back.

Me and family were here, a group of 5. Ordered Seafood Mixed set and Seafood Bento to shared. It was fresh and delicious food. Will come back again for sure. The only thing that we don't like is the place was too cramp, a bit hectic.

The drink menu is extensive, featuring sake, Japanese whiskey like suntory's Yamazaki and Hibiki( recommend this one ) and delicious cocktails. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Overall, Ku Kitchen & Bar offers great atmosphere, excellent food, and professional service. Definitely worth a visit!

Simply stunning sushi so fresh, me and girlfriend love fish and this was the place for us. Service was excellent food delicious 🤤 only criticism was it was a little dark bar that lovely experience. If you are going here book in the afternoon we just managed a 6pm booking you only have a table for 1hr 30 mins but it was enough. The cocktails were also really nice 👌We had two starters 3 cocktails 4 sushi dishes and shared a desert all came to €155 including tip which we thought was very fair for what we got 👌100 recommend 5 stars 🌟
