Kwalitaria Schiedam in Wijk 06 Nieuwland

I have been coming here for years to eat or have a coffee, and I must say that the quality has never been lacking here. Moreover, the staff are very nice and pleasant people. I recommend everyone to stop by here sometime!

Lately, I have noticed that Qualitaria's delivery service has deteriorated significantly. They use their own delivery drivers, but it appears they do not have any. Today is the umpteenth time in a short period that orders for delivery cannot be placed because there are no delivery drivers. In my opinion, if you are a business that offers a delivery service, you must be able to guarantee delivery, whether this is via your own drivers or via external delivery services from Thuisbezorgd, among others. If you cannot guarantee this, then you should not offer the option.

The website states that the business is open, however it is closed.

A different amount of food was served every time, despite ordering the same item. Very stingy with sauces. If you order a large portion of fries with peanut sauce, you get sauce for a child's portion. Reordering costs almost 2 euros for an extra small container of mayo. Scandalous!!!!

Quite a few mistakes are made in this snack bar that, if you pay closer attention, wouldn't need to be made. Last time we missed the peanut sauce. Now we missed a frikandel. The fries were tasty and of good quality every time before. This time we had mostly hard, short pieces. We called and indicated that we were missing a frikandel. It was supposed to be delivered immediately. After half an hour, we called to ask if the frikandel was still being delivered? Yes, it's on its way, we were told. After another half hour, still no frikandel. The answer we got was that it is very busy. We called to say that they no longer needed to deliver the frikandel. The employees are friendly, but not very meticulous with their work.

Last Friday, I ordered a large portion of fries with mayonnaise and a spring roll from them. The lady taking the order was working with earbuds in her ears. I paid her and told her, "I'll be right back." I went to the Plus to buy a few things. When I returned to pick up my order, an Asian lady who has been working there for a while recognized me. She said, "2 large portions of fries and a spring roll." I said, utterly surprised, "2 large portions of fries?" Even though I always order 1 large portion of fries. So, I had paid too much. The lady with the earbuds in wasn't listening properly. I explained that I had only ordered 1 large portion of fries. Then she came over to say that I supposedly said "2." I think this lady is of Turkish or Armenian/Kurdish descent. She is friendly, but she did make a mistake here. She didn't want to admit or acknowledge it, nor did she apologize for it. I did get the overpaid money back from her colleague. That lady shouldn't be standing there taking orders with earbuds/earpods anymore; things can go wrong.

Food was really bad; the burger patty was as dry as cardboard. Fries where not crispy at all. Employee served the food wearing a jacket with his hoodie on. Absolutely disgusting and customer unfriendly. Was once a good snackbar., not anymore.

It used to be a great snack bar, but under new ownership, it suddenly has to be halal with white fluorescent lighting. Smaller portions, and often something is missing from the order. This is a shame!

Good heavens, how long can you spend on a hot chocolate and mint tea? The mint still needs to be picked. Waited over fifteen minutes.

After a long time, I got food here again. The new owner was the only one who noticed the lack of atmosphere; everything was cold and chilly, like a cafeteria. The food had already been ordered, which I promptly reported upon arrival, and I still had to wait a bit. They were so busy with all the order slips that they packed it, but they didn't remember it was for me, so it had been sitting in the bag for 10 minutes to cool. When I got home, it didn't improve. What was supposed to be a salad was just ordinary. Lettuce with lots of tomato and sauce, the chicken had flown over it, the fries were cold, and the burger bun was soggy from all the sauce. They forgot about the offer of a second burger for free. All in all, it's a shame that this great restaurant is going downhill.

A wonderful place for a quick, yet quality meal. The food is always delicious and carefully prepared, exactly as you'd expect. The staff is friendly, attentive, and ensures you're served quickly, even during busier times. The combination of excellent service, delicious food, and a pleasant atmosphere makes Kwalitaria a firm favorite for a cozy and delicious meal!

Ordered fries, waited 1 hour and 45 minutes, then came cold fries, cold cheese soufflé and peanut sauce was everywhere in the bag.

The food at Kwalitaria Schiedam was so delicious that I ordered something else. First, I started with the hot chicken kapsalon – I think they make the best kapsalon in the whole of the Netherlands here – and after that I ordered a cheeseburger, which was also incredible. The service was so fast and the food was hot; truly a top-notch place.

Everything is perfect, the food is tasty, it is hygienic, I am happy with it.

The banana milkshake was delicious and very filling. The fries were very soft and clearly old. The ice cream had so many slimy chunks in it that I couldn't finish it. After a quick Google search, I discovered this was due to bacterial growth and that the ice cream was no longer good. The restaurant's atmosphere is nice, and the staff are very friendly. Aside from the quality of the food, it was a good experience.

Since the new owner arrived, the phones haven't been answered. The store closes when they want and opens when they want. It's a shame the new owner has arrived, because we've been coming here for years. With those Chinese people, there was no dirt on the tables. Now it's a complete mess inside. It's a shame.

I've ordered several times, and the food was delivered on time and was delicious. I've also eaten at the restaurant a few times and enjoyed a delicious coffee on the terrace. Friendly owner and friendly staff!

I have been a regular customer at Kwalitaria for years, but since the arrival of the new owner, things have really gone downhill. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed. The phone is not answered, not even after 15 calls, very frustrating if you want to ask a question or place an order. Last time I even got someone else's order. Mistakes can happen, so I went back and it was resolved. But to my surprise, I got something wrong again, and then I was already home. In addition, the staff seems completely unmotivated. Everyone just does their own thing and customer friendliness is nowhere to be found. It is a shame to see how a business that I always liked to go to has gone downhill so much.

Good meal, Good seevice and suprisingly Halal Food. So everybody can enjoy the food. Great concept will be my favorite place, that is for sure!!

Went to the shop, half an hour after ordering, an employee came to tell us that the raspata had run out, and that they still had to start the order, so we asked for our money back, we have the feeling that they have become different owners, they still have a lot to learn, we are going to look for another snack bar!!!!

Been here twice for takeaway since there is a new owner and it's not that bad. Online order was only ready half an hour after the agreed time, complete chaos behind the counter. Fries were good, but the halal frikadellen that we had to order because normal frikadellen are no longer on the menu were tasteless and the time before, the half chickens were stone cold inside despite the long waiting time. I won't be coming back here again.

I ordered a spring roll special and I get half of a normal spring roll, you pay €7.70 for something that is not normal anymore..... Then I just open my snacks because that's what I ordered, I only have 5 bitterballen..... Plus when you call they don't answer it never ends right away...!!!

Quite a large and neat branch with super friendly employees. There is parking in front of the door, if it is not full. And not unimportant; the prices are quite reasonable with this extensive menu. And plenty of seating space, if you make a reservation you can also go with a group.

What does Kwalitaria stand for? Certainly not quality. We often ordered food, but this is our last time! Cold food, all mixed together, too dry to swallow. You ask for a certain delivery time and they still arrive at least half an hour late. Paying a lot of money and not delivering quality is a shame.

I would place this on the high end of snack bars. There is a good variety of meals. It is somewhat pricier than other places. But with inflation it might be priced normalized now. The question is do you want to support the smaller franchise over the larger ones imo.

I miss the old owner and staff, previously well-kept and good food, now dirty tables and chairs, orders are wrong, sauce is everywhere and also the wrong sauce. Never again, a shame for what was such a fresh, fun thing.

Tried again today 28.10.23! So they don't learn anything, croquette porridge, a tough hamburger, sour lettuce, etc... I don't understand why I keep trying. Last time for us! Quality continues to deteriorate. Orders are often incorrect, food does not arrive properly, sauce is everywhere except where it should be. Croquette is completely crushed, etc., etc. Tip of the day; order somewhere else, plenty of choice in the area!!

I came there to order my dinner and take it with me. Staff is friendly, the food is prepared quickly and it is neat. While waiting you can quietly read the newspaper if you wish ((several newspapers are available from the most recent edition)+. When we got home the food was hot and a good portion.

Food is always delicious, peanut sauce has been delicious since the 90s! Just a shame about the chicken burger that occasionally seems dried out/old and the fries that are getting browner. Also a shame about the brown lettuce that I sometimes find on the burger(s). Despite this, it tastes very good and we eat here regularly, home delivery is also recommended. Super fast and food is still hot upon arrival!
