Great food, great service, and a very relaxing evening. Definitely worth a visit if you enjoy fine dining.

Exceptionally delicious food with beautiful well-matched wines complemented. A top evening opened by the chef himself with the question if there are any wishes or preferences.

Wir waren heute dort und haben das 5-Gänge-Überraschungsmenue genießen dürfen. Wir fanden es sehr schön mit jedem Gang überrascht zu werden, da es hier keine Speisekarte gibt. Die regionalen Produkte werden in dem Menü kreativ und mit viel Liebe im Detail von einem sehr freundlichen Koch zubereitet und einem sehr aufmerksamen jungen Team im angenehmen Ambiente serviert. Hier werden wir wieder herkommen und auch unsere Freunde mitnehmen.

We had dinner with a group of 16 people. Nevertheless, we all got our courses at the same time! VEGANS were also taken into account! A really good cook who just knows what he's doing! Tastes perfect!

Dikke aanrader! Bij Kwartelemarkt 11 op 3 eet je echt supergoed. Vijf gangen lang smullen voor nog geen 70 euro, en de sfeer is top! Lekker knus, perfect voor een avondje gezellig tafelen. Het eten is echt een feestje, mooie gerechten met verse ingrediënten. En de bediening? Supervriendelijk en relaxed. Echt een aanrader als je in Venlo bent!

Geweldige avond gehad bij kwartelenmarkt 11 op 3. Bij binnenkomst voelde we ons meteen welkom. Personeel was erg vriendelijk en de chef-kok zelf kwam zich voorstellen en het menu uitleggen. Ieder gerecht was iets verrassends, nieuws en zeer smaakvol. De combinaties van ingrediënten waren echt bijzonder hierdoor weet je dat er een echte chef-kok aan het werk is. De bijpassende wijnen waren super! Wat ons betreft zeer zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Bij Kwartelenmarkt 11 op 3 in Venlo kun je genieten van echt top eten. De chef gebruikt vooral verse, lokale producten, dus alles is supervers. Geen vast menu, maar elke dag weer een verrassing. De sfeer is heel gezellig en de bediening is top. Of je nu van een klassiek gerecht houdt of juist van iets geks, hier vind je het allemaal. Een echte aanrader voor een speciale gelegenheid of gewoon een avondje lekker uit eten!

Heerlijk gegeten, plaatjes van gerechtjes. We hadden geen invloed op we aten. De kok verteld lachend aan tafel, dat hij niet doet aan schaaldieren, orgaanvlees en geitenkaas etc. Kortom van makkelijke ingrediënten wordt een mooi mooie menu gemaakt. Echter de bediening, daar kan het niveau wel omhoog. Daar zit geen finesse in. De glazen wijn worden volgeplempt, de gerechten snel uitgelegd, voelt opgejaagd. Het menu wordt in een iets te hoog tempo erdoor geduwd. In totaal vinden wij de prijs kwaliteit niet in verhouding. Het is geen beleving, terwijl het wat het eten betreft wel zou kunnen.

The menu was absolutely perfect. The mix of regional and Asian cuisine is a great experience. The sauces in particular were a poem. An extensive, high-quality wine list rounded the whole thing off. The service was the same level. We will come again!

Jammer! Wij hadden veel meer verwacht aangezien de beoordelingen zo goed waren! Weer een reden om niet op de beoordelingen te jagen! Een menu was er niet echt. De 4 gangen menu viel ons tegen! En we konden wel iets veranderen maar niet veel. Voor een vegetariër zal dit wel een probleem zijn. Luidruchtig en veel te klein! Helaas voor ons een slechte ervaring en kwa prijs ook zeer hoog voor een menu van de dag!

Hier op zaterdag 24-8 een 4-gangen menu gedaan, kwalitatief eten en wijn goed/zeer goed, echter omtrent bediening aanmerkingen na ontvangst van de appretief kaart 2 glaasjes besteld op hetzelfde moment werd de kaart uit de handen getrokken 🤬dit tot grote verbazing maar goed vervolgens wordt er erg veel haast gemaakt om de bestelling te verkrijgen, tevens verwacht je hier rustig en op niveau te kunnen dineren helaas bij ons een erg luidruchtige tafel van 8 personen die geen manieren hadden waardoor een gesprek niet meer mogelijk is, personeel zegt er niets van helaas en bij afrekenen merkte dit op en was het commentaar van de bediende:”we zijn een drukke zaak dus kan gebeuren” na 200 te hebben afgetikt konden we het hier mee doen. Voor leuk en goed eten aanrader, entourage met niveau geen aanrader

Niet alleen een streling voor je tong maar ook een lust voor het oog. Genoten van een 4 gangen diner van de chef. Fijn dat bij ieder gerecht precies verteld werd welke ingrediënten gebruikt waren.

Wir fahren um die ganze Welt, dabei liegt das Gute so nahe…..Ja, eine ausgezeichnete Küche mitten in Venlo jetzt erst entdeckt. Wir haben das Fünfgang-Menü gewählt und waren begeistert; und das zu einem ausgezeichneten Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Der Service war sehr angenehm und der Koch erkundigte sich nach jedem Gang, ob wir zufrieden sind. Wenn das Wetter es zulässt, wie bei unserem Besuch, sitzt man auf dem kleinen und lebhaften Markt mitten im Leben. Das war mit Sicherheit nicht unser letzter Aufenthalt…

Beautiful tent with delicious food! I think the young lady may have been a bit too young for this restaurant, but that didn't make the food any less tasty! This is also the only downside to this food. We ate from 6:15 PM to 10:15 PM and spent around 130 p.p. (Food + full wine arrangement) that is 5 courses with 5 wines and they were not served petit.

We went here to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary (even though we have been together for almost 40 years) and are very satisfied with our decision. Friendly welcome and excellent service by hostess Jenny. We chose a delicious wine to enjoy the 4-course menu we ordered. Prior to this menu, a delicious bread enriched in taste with aged cheese and a delicious herb butter and olive oil. Unfortunately I am not good enough to describe the following dishes in detail, but everything we were presented with was a feast for the eyes and that was confirmed by the taste sensations that followed. Sorry, I forgot to take a photo of the main course. We skipped dessert, we were already more than satisfied.

Tourist rip-off Were in Venlo today and just wanted to have a coffee. Paid €14.60 for a latte macchiato, 2 waters (one was the wrong one but it doesn't matter...) and a cola. The latte came in a 0.2 piccolo glass (!) (absolute disgrace!). Instead of €5 in change, we only received €4 back without comment. This way you can also confuse guests. I am absolutely appalled by this business practice.

Ate here on a weekend away. The manager welcomed us and radiated a passionate charisma. The young waitress was a bit shorter and did not give us a drinks menu to order an aperitif. The food was delicious and the chef's enthusiasm was infectious. Had a very nice evening!

If you enjoy culinary delights, you've come to the right place. Had dinner here with my colleagues on Friday and they were all positively surprised. The atmosphere is friendly, not too stiff. Everything is correct. I've been once before. It was a warm summer day. It is also a wonderful experience because the restaurant then moves outdoors, half on the De Kwartelenmarkt catering square.

I was greeted very kindly by the lady behind the bar I have a bladder condition and desperately needed a toilet And it was no problem at all and I was allowed to use it for a fee, which I don't mind paying. This was in stark contrast to an employee at Dorstig, the cocktail bar next door. I was also rudely refused and was not allowed to use the toilet for a fee and not even after I explained my urgent condition. So dear lady of this restaurant, thank you again very much for your understanding and help!!!!

Wonderful experience. Quiet atmosphere. Polite waiters who also speak English fluently and can describe in details every dish before you try it. Chef personally came to me and each other visitor to introduce himself, ask what you prefer at food and wish a nice evening. Tasty dishes, each one tastes different then another. Toilets are clean, you can pay by card and cash, spacy wardrobe.

The lovingly run restaurant does not have a menu, but rather a friendly chef who asks at the table what you like and creates a wonderful food journey. A great ambience, the dishes prepared like in a star kitchen, an elegantly designed terrace, courteous service. Really worth a visit.

After many years, I took up the challenge. Only 1 set menu, or you have to have "privileges" somehow, then multiple doors open, to multiple dishes. Incoherent structure from mainly Italian to suddenly Indian (rendang) and back to Italian again. Price/quality below par. At least not what we expected/hoped for. Personally, I think there are more places in Venlo where a more positive culinary experience can be had.

Since the first place we wanted was closing, we decided on this fantastic restaurant on the way back to the car. We were pleasantly surprised from the first second. Late in the evening the waitress asked the chef and owner if we would get something to eat. He then came to the table personally and told us what else he could serve us. The man knows what he's doing and he does it damn well!!! In the quartet we can only say: We have never eaten so deliciously! If we don't come back, we've done something wrong!

Inspiring, quirky, contemporary, no nonsense, food from scratch without a menu, good ambience, price-quality ratio is very good, just left a quarter of a month's salary here for the 5th time with all the love and pleasure, longing for the next time! A very big 10!

Menus very variable and tasty, inexpensive

Very tasty, no menu. Well cared for and the wine pairing is generous. Perhaps the wine (which was very tasty) could have been better matched to the dishes. But as far as I'm concerned, Michelin star material - if it weren't for the fact that they fortunately lack the stiffness that you associate with them.
