Friendly service and delicious food; the recommendation (pizza with smoked Black Angus) was definitely to our liking.

Unfortunately, both my partner and I felt unwell during the night after our dinner, with nausea and stomach discomfort. We suspect the tiramisu may have been responsible, although we have no way of confirming it. On a positive note, the service was attentive and the atmosphere was lovely.

Honestly I saw the rate 4,6 and I was expecting something good but the rate I assume is misleading. The food was ok , and I believe fare rate is 3 to 3,5 . I give low score to bring the average close to real score

Hi everyone! 5⭐️ stars for the young team who strive to do everything well, even excellently. The atmosphere was a bit lacking (guys, if you're renovating, add some warmth to the space, for example, paint the walls terracotta, add some plants...).

I recently visited Pizzeria La Base in Weesp and had a pleasant overall experience, with a few standout positives and some small areas for improvement. One of the best things about this place is definitely the staff. They were exceptionally friendly, warm, and welcoming from the moment I arrived. That kind of genuine hospitality really makes a difference and sets the tone for the whole visit. I ordered the pizza Diavola. The pizza itself was decent, the base was good, though slightly on the dry side. The toppings were okay, but I personally didn’t think the onion added much; in fact, it took away a bit from the flavor of the salami, which should really be the star of a Diavola. The location is another plus. It’s situated right in the center of Weesp, which gives it a nice, lively atmosphere. However, inside the restaurant, the ambiance felt a bit minimalistic. There didn’t seem to be any background music, which made the space feel a little less cozy than it could be. That said, considering the price, it’s still a solid option. You get good value for what you pay, especially with such kind and attentive service. Overall, Pizzeria La Base is worth visiting if you’re in Weesp, mainly for the friendly staff and central location. though there’s a bit of room for improvement when it comes to atmosphere and fine-tuning the flavors of the pizza.

I come to this place every month for about 5 years now. I think the management knows me already very well, hehe. It's just a cozy, and perfect place with real pizzas... It's a pitty that we don't have more pizza restaurants like this in the Netherlands tbh...

I moved to Weesp a month ago and have already visited La Base Pizza twice. Their Neapolitan pizza is packed with flavor and delicious toppings. 🍕 The Calzone Vega is a top pick for vegetarian pizza lovers 😋, and the Parmigiana was tasty too. The desserts were of average quality — I expected a much better tiramisu from an Italian restaurant. Service is quick and friendly!

The pizza is made in a wood-fired or charcoal oven, very good and very tasty. You have to make a reservation. We went on a Monday and luckily we found nice seats in the place.

One of the best restaurants I have been to. Delicious pizza (says a lot for someone who isn't a fan of pizza), Delicious desert and delicious cocktails. The staff was very kind and helpful, this added a lot to the cosy atmosphere.

Dinner with the kids and grandparents. Absolutely loved it! Pizzas were great, service was swift, and the "bambino" for the young ones was delightfull. Definitely recommend and WILL visit again! It can get busy with walk-ins, so I do recommend to make a reservation.

Amazing pizza, really italian delicious dough. Nice vegetarian options, and the calzone vega was sooooooo good! Definitely one of the best Italian/Napoletano style pizzas i have tried in NL. Staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Maybe call ahead or reservation needed on peek days/hours.

As a vegetarian, you absolutely have to try the Vega Calzone! A real calzone filled with fresh ricotta and spinach. Finally, something different than the standard veggie calzone. Perfect!

One of the best pizzerias in the area. The pizza bases are typically Italian. Friendly staff. Delicious, surprising dishes with plenty of variety. The mocktails on the menu are top-notch. I'm still missing an alcohol-free wine, but who knows, maybe in the future. I'll definitely keep coming back!

Absolutely love the food! After ordering it also tends to arrive quite quickly. We go here quite often and I absolutely adore the burrata e pesto pizza and the diavola. Service is average friendly and the atmosphere is fine. But the pizza tho! 😋

Had a nice meal with my son. The waitress was inexperienced but extremely friendly.

We had a wonderful evening with friends. Very friendly and fun staff, they think along with you. We first had a drink outside and came to report what time the pizzas would be ready so that we had enough time to go inside. The pizzas were all super tasty. When we said over coffee that the chocolates were so delicious, they immediately brought a whole bowl. So sweet. We will definitely come back again and hope to be able to eat outside on the water.

Visited for the second time. We had 3 small pizzas to share. Great idea and it tasted great. One point: the ribbed plates with a raised edge were not easy to cut. Many families before 7:00 PM and for us it was nice after 7:00 PM. Top service 👏🏼

This used to be our go-to pizzeria for a perfect Margherita pizza, but after today, I’m not sure we’ll ever come back. We ordered the same pizza for takeaway, and it was an absolute disaster—the tomato sauce was so unbearably salty that it was completely inedible. We couldn’t even finish a single slice. It was a total waste of money and a huge disappointment. What happened in the kitchen today? Has the quality completely collapsed, or was this just a fluke? Either way, I’m beyond frustrated and honestly feel cheated.

Nice restaurant! We had ordered in advance with a group of eight people, because we had little time to eat. The delicious pizzas were on the table very quickly and someone could join us.

Taken the pizza of the month with extra salami. It was mainly a lot of dough, very little eggplant and even less salami. Tasty tomatoes. All in all a lot of money (€43 for 2 small sized pizzas) with mostly dough. We were offered 2 coffees as compensation, but we didn't feel like it anymore.

We came here for the second time and just like last time we had a very tasty meal. Only the Parma ham on one of the pizzas was (much) less dry than we are used to and like and cut really thinly. You could easily take a bite of ham without realizing it. The staff was very friendly. A downside was the long wait this time. It took a long time before the order was taken (we saw the room staff walking by several times and tables being cleared, but it took quite a while before someone looked in our direction and we could indicate that we would like to order) and then it took a long time until we got the starters and then it took another long time before we got the pizzas. Too bad, especially considering the restaurant was virtually empty by that point. We will go back, it is more pleasant to eat in Weesp than in the center of Amsterdam.

The bottom of the pizza was partially black. We got the pizzas much earlier than the drinks.

I had dinner in this pizzeria with my wife and my son last Saturday. The pizza is one of the best I have ever tried in 8 years I have been living in the Netherlands. And it is much better than other very well known places in Amsterdam. The service has to improve a lot though. The waiters have that attitude typical of many places in the Netherlands (they let you sit without bringing the menu, they say they come to serve you and then they make you wait more, they never smile). All in all a good place in Weesp, I will return for sure to eat the wonderful pizza.

Delicious pizzas, but two criticisms: 1) Water 'service' is a negative point anyway, but also at this price. 2) When ordering online, the price for 'small' is shown by default. The 'regular' is two euros extra. We get a bad feeling from these kinds of practices... Completely unnecessary.

We've dine in together with two other friends and we loved our pizzas and drinks, for sure we'll come back again.

Cozy restaurant, with good food and good value for money

Pleasant atmosphere, excellent service. Ate here with a family group. Starter and dessert delicious, pizza (prosciuto e fungi) a bit greasy and wet bottom but also tasty.

Friendliness of the employees is remarkable. Weesp is always worth to visit and so close to Amsterdam. Actually it’s now a part of it.

The place I go every month for two years and when my friends are coming to visit I’ll take them and we share the same opinion. A cozy place to create great memories.

Delicious pizzas where you can't pass up the crust. Cozy setting. Nowadays it is difficult to find a restaurant with good service where you are treated nicely and everything arrives on time. I will definitely come back again and recommend this restaurant if you want to have a pleasant evening with delicious food and drinks!
