They chased us out of the restaurant because we chose to got somewhere else cause of the prices and called us “animals” AVOID THIS PLACE

We had a delicious meal and the service was excellent. They speak Spanish, which is a lifesaver if you don't speak English well. We ordered salads, meat skewers, and provolone cheese. Everything was delicious and the portions were generous. I highly recommend it!

The place was fantastic. We were craving some barbecue and it was delicious. The waiters were amazing. 10 out of 10!!

Good restaurant, pretty good value for money

The service is wonderful the staff are so sweet - but the food is incredible overpriced and very underwhelming. I ordered the carpaccio and nachos and it is my fault that I didn’t read the description fully - but I never imagined a nachos would be so bland and cheap. The chips taste like a 1 euro bag and the cheese is poor quality. No sight of any kind of red no salsa no filler absolutely flat meal - 15 euros for this is absolutely abhorrent. The carpaccio came with lettuce making it look bigger, but it does not change how bland and watery it tastes. It tastes like watery rubber somehow and is by far the worst carpaccio I have ever had. If a few tweaks were made, this would’ve been a lovely meal but for 30 euros I’d expect just a little more quality and care for the food being served. My friend’s chicken burger and steak were okay, but nothing special either. Again the staff were incredible, this is not on them at all. But a revision of the menu needs to be made as there is no passion in it at all right now.

I absolutely loved the vibe, the food, and the amazing people here! The owner, his daughter Michaela, and the entire staff were so warm, friendly, and accommodating. I celebrated my 40th birthday here on July 4, and they sang “Happy Birthday,” brought out a birthday cake, and even treated me to a complimentary shot, which made the celebration even more special. I’m so glad we found this place. They also serve pork, and I highly recommend the steak and calamari they were absolutely delicious! Thank you for making my birthday so memorable. We’ll definitely be back!

Ordered nachos. It was the most tasteless food I've tasted in a long time. The guacamole tasted of nothing, and my friends' burgers had no lettuce or greens.

The best steak I’ve had on tour in Switzerland, Germany and Netherlands. Lots of home cooked vegetables including broccoli. If you are looking for a good steak the tender loin is the business

Wonderful dinner with the owner on site making sure everything is great. His daughter serving us was a delight! Great stop for our last night before taking the train to Paris for our flight the next day (The rib dinner was so big I had lunch on the train).

We got the tapas mixtes and it was more than we could eat. It was phenomenal... The staff was lovely and very convevial. And the house wine was very good.

Run by a really nice family. Very personable experience. We had a small plate sampler that was nothing short of fantastic. Pork spareribs were my favorite. Downstairs was cute and functional, upstairs would be a wonderful location for a small party. It even has its own bar up there. I don’t know when I will be back to Amsterdam – but when I am, I will visit Boca.

If I could give a 0, I would have done so. I am being treated in an unfriendly manner because I didn't know my choice regarding my menu selection. Then we were kicked out and called nasty words. This is not normal; please do not come here.

We’ve been to Amsterdam twice in the last two years and every time we keep on coming back to this place the atmosphere is absolutely lovely. The staff are truly wonderful I can only speak highly of this place. The steaks are unbelievable. We went back twice in a row as we loved the steaks we were here for five days and it was just amazing. They welcomed us back as they saw us and remembered us with a warm hug. I highly recommend this place such a wonderful atmosphere and wonderful people and Most of all the staff

Beautiful steak cooked to perfection, a lot of reviews tell you to avoid tourist trap areas around Dam Square but always been reasonably priced, been coming here for years, always get a good steak.

The setting is really nice; it feels like you're in an Argentinian favela. The ribs are good, and the burger tastes good too, but the bacon is definitely undercooked. As for cleanliness, it's not great.

We have been in Europe for 10 days and this was our favorite meal by far! Excellent food and a great atmosphere. Even the teenagers loved it!

We had a nice meal. Unfortunately, I went for a walk outside, discovered I had forgotten my camera, and went back immediately. Only 10 minutes. Their answer was: "We didn't see anything," and they started moving all the chairs and benches, which I found very strange. Maybe stolen on the way, and other excuses they came up with. Which made everything very suspicious.

Unassuming from the outside, but our food was incredibly delicious 😋 and there was something for everyone 😉 The carpaccio was the best I've ever eaten, the steak was cooked to perfection, and the fresh prawns were divine. I also had an extra portion of garlic sauce, which was fantastic. I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant 👌

Everything was so good. The Ancho steak and the Chorizo steak. The caipirinha with cachaça and the churros as desert. Higly recommend.

We ordered nachos at this South American restaurant, but unfortunately, it was very disappointing. For €15, we got a small bowl of chips with cheap melted cheese and some guacamole. You can make this yourself at home for much less money, and probably even better. We also ordered mozzarella sticks. They were fine in themselves, but they also seemed to have just come straight from the freezer. The service was friendly and good, so there is nothing to complain about there. However, we found the price-quality ratio of the nachos really disappointing. For €15, you expect something better than a few simple chips with cheese. Unfortunately, it felt more like a tourist trap to us. We would eat somewhere else next time.

We've been there last night for dinner, and the experience was perfect. I need gluten free food and the waiters took it really seriurs. There was spanish music on all the time and that gives a special vibe to the dinner. The waiters were amazing, kind, funny and so caring. I'll recommend it to everyone that asks me where they can eat in Amsterdam!!!

Had a great experience at La Boca! The steak was excellent, the sangria was delicious, and the tiramisu was the perfect ending to the meal. The restaurant has really good vibes and a warm atmosphere. Before we left, we also had a nice chat with the owner, who was very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend!

Small restaurant, probably hasn't been touched since 1995?! We expected more from the food. Slightly overcooked with a black edge, and the medium rare was overcooked.

We had a mixed tapas, a decent selection. The calamari rings weren't fried well, the pimientos del padron were practically raw, but everything else was good. The burger, on the other hand, wasn't bad. The price was average, and the staff was very kind and helpful.

La Boca is a very nice and entertaining restaurant. From the moment we entered the restaurant, the owner approached us and greeted us. The atmosphere is amazing and filled with great vibes and great Latino music! The food was amazingly delicious. From the crunchy Croquetas to the well seasoned rib eye, the pallets were in for a great adventure!

I have been visiting the Netherlands for two years in a row and when I am in Amsterdam I eat at La Boca. The best meat, delicious side dishes, very friendly atmosphere and impeccable service. For a relaxed atmosphere and 5 star food, La Boca is the perfect choice. I hope to visit you again soon!

Small Argentine steakhouse near Dam Square We had excellent grilled meat. The service was quick. The waiters were very friendly. The espresso was very good compared to what you usually find in Amsterdam.

The customer service was absolutely wonderful—everyone was so friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The food was just as incredible—everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. What truly made the night extra special was how they surprised my mum with a free dessert for her birthday.
