What's great about the restaurant? It has two separate barbecue tables. One is for cooking halal food, and the other is for cooking non-halal dishes. The owner himself oversees and supervises everything. The dining atmosphere is wonderful, and the place, the food, and everything else is fantastic.

What a lovely spot to settle down for a while on the Damrak. We really enjoyed an extensive meal in the sun here. The atmosphere on the terrace is incredibly nice and the food tasted excellent. The apple pie, in particular, was a huge success; it was prepared perfectly. It is the ideal stop during a day in Amsterdam. We will definitely be back here again.

He was incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. I will never forget his excellent service. Ashraf has such a warm and contagious smile that everyone smiles back when they see him. We planned to stay for dinner but the appetizer scared us away. We ordered the nachos with cheese and guacamole. These were flavored Doritos (not regular corn chips) that were crushed in a million little pieces covered in shredded cheese (not melted) and covered in guacamole sauce, sour cream and I think salsa, but it was sweet like catsup. The server was nice and took them off our check. We paid €13 for two sodas and left. Won’t be back.

Beautiful place, great location, good service, tasty and fresh food. People there very nice and warm, felt like home away from home. Ashraf and Maria they made my day and eventually the whole week, I really loved their energy and enthusiasm 💕❤️

You know, when you need to get off your feet and have an ice cold drink drink and some food this was a little oasis. Staff were enthusiastic, food was efficient and tasty. I tried the schnitzel, my partner had a burger. Both excellent.

We visited L.A. Burger based on the positive reviews, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. Although the table had been cleaned, it remained very sticky. We also had to ask for utensils multiple times before they were finally provided. When we were ready to place our order online, we noticed that the prices listed online were significantly lower than those in the restaurant, and staff were unable to explain the discrepancy. Finally, the meal I ordered was supposed to include two fried eggs, but they were never served. Overall, the service and attention to detail fell well below our expectations, making for a disappointing dining experience.

I ordered English breakfast. The plating presentation is great. Not a fan of their egg but because the food is my comfort food 8/10. Love the service and the place.

Stopped in for a quick lunch since it was super close to the train station. Our burger and fries were delicious and reminded me of American burgers back in the U.S. (which can be hard to find here in Nederland). The staff were very friendly, service was fast, can't wait to visit next time we are in the area. Thank you!

This place is incredible! So many choices to eat in Amsterdam, but we came back for 3 evenings. Staff is so wonderful and friendly, made you feel like we were old friends. There was an older gentleman with a bandage on his nose who was rude to the staff and kept them from their duties. The staff however remained professional and provided excellent service.

You have a massive rat in your premises if I was you I would close and relocate because they are running all over ur tables in ur cellar and over the kitchen surfaces ....it was witnessed and I felt sick 😫 sorry I know every big city has a rat population but this is where food gets served and prepped take action before someone gets ill

Wonderful dining experience we had. A family restaurant serving delicious food we had the fille steak burger , schnitzel and pizza all was great. The owner was a real gentleman accommodating and caring for us. For me a must visit in my next trip to Amsterdam.

The food tasted good and arrived quickly. The staff was friendly. However, €5 for a 200ml Coke was not justified. Food was good – value for money, so-so.

It's not a typical Dutch place, but it's nice, with friendly staff and excellent meat.

Had a delicious meal with a friend. Cozy restaurant, fast service, you weren't rushed when it got busier, friendly staff. The burgers were fantastic with delicious fresh ingredients for a great price (€15.95). The burgers don't come with fries as standard; the portions you order with them are very generous (€4.50). One portion would be enough for two people. You can order sauces separately for an additional fee, but it's clearly listed on the menu.

The food itself is not great but not too bad, but be careful for their typical touristic area scam lol. The menu lists only one price for drinks, but they ask you to choose a drink size (S, M, or L) and if you choose other than S size, they charge extra for M and L size without mentioning it. The fries and salad included in the meal comes without any sauce, and the waiter asks if you want sauce. If you say yes, they don’t tell you there’s an extra charge, but it’llbe added on the bill. I’m not sure if this is a Dutch ppl problem or just a common touristic area scam.🤷🏻‍♂️ Also, the entrance door stays open, so the outside wind keeps blowing in and the food gets cold very quickly. Overall, it was a bad experience, tbh. Not visiting again or recommend it to others 🥱😮‍💨

The meat on my burger was unfortunately a bit dry, and the other burger had far too little sauce. For the size, I think the price is a bit too high – fries should really be included. However, the service was very friendly and quick, which improved the overall impression somewhat.

A fantastic find! L.A Burger offers truly delicious burgers, generously topped and bursting with flavor. The ingredients are fresh, the meat is cooked to perfection, and the bun is just the right amount of soft. The service is quick and friendly, the atmosphere is welcoming, and you can tell everything is made with passion. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

Food was lovely. Service not so great. The waitress that my food in her hand for about five minutes talking to a work colleague. Both my partner and i's fries were freezing. No one checked on us after the food eventually arrived. We were missing sauces etc, when I mentioned this to the waitress she was rude.

I had my food to-go and unfortunately missed my bus, went back to the restaurant and was welcomed back again by the loveliest crew from the restaurant. They allowed me to stay and finish my food with utensils and condiments. The classic bacon cheeseburger was delicious and the french fries were generously given. Would come back again!

I really can't understand the relatively good reviews for this place. The food is extremely dry, both the burgers and the chicken fingers. Furthermore, the service seems like the staff has never done it before. Sitting outside isn't really pleasant either, as the street is far too crowded and noisy.

I was met outside by a fantastic gentleman who made our dining experience fantastic, and the staff inside were equally as good. He promised us that the food would be amazing and I have to say he wasn’t wrong. The fries and burger are some of the best I have ever tasted and the pizza didn’t disappoint either. If you are in Amsterdam give this a try.

We went around 2 pm. There were four of us, but only two of us ate. The service was quick, and the food was quite good for the price, especially in Amsterdam. Plus, being French, we had a very nice French waitress, and all the other staff were equally kind.
