Amsterdam is expensive, but almost €5 for 2 bites (no joke) is going a bit far. I once had a sample spoon larger than this ball. And that smallest scoop of ice cream I ever got tasted like nothing. I'd say save yourself the trouble and walk a few minutes to Massimo

Advantage: no long line. Which is understandable in retrospect after getting my ice cream. Two buns that were not inferior in size to Easter eggs, and also for 5 euros. The tiny balls completely disappeared into the cone, which fortunately prevented it from spilling. I would have liked to take a picture of it, but as you probably understand, the ice cream was gone after two licks.

Strange loyalty card - customer loyalty. I order two ice creams: one with two scoops, one with one scoop at €2.50 per scoop. I used to get two stamps for that (10 stamps entitles me to a free ice cream (I suspect one scoop). To my surprise, I only get one. When I ask, the friendly ice cream lady says: the new policy is one stamp per visit. I say, "But there are two of us, each ordering an ice cream, can my friend get his own stamp card?" Unfortunately, the new cards haven't arrived yet!!! Next time, I'll order one ice cream with one scoop, pay, get a stamp, and have my friend do the same with the same card (as far as I know, the card isn't personal, so...). If I still feel like another scoop, I'll come back and repeat the process. Voila, three stamps (is there a definition of a visit? Number of minutes between visits, number of meters from the store?). That is, if there's even a next time, because I don't call that customer loyalty.

Very delicious ice cream, and it is difficult to find a vanilla with a good flavor. It's a shame they didn't have any cones left, it's for another time.

By far the best ice-cream I have eaten in Amsterdam. There is a great choice of flavors with some originals (black sesame, chai, ...) and the personel is absolutely lovely. Such a great experience all in all

Your average ice cream, nothing special in the taste department. However, their portions are tiny, which is the biggest ice cream crime. Let me put it this way, two scoops here are smaller than a single scoop in the famous place in De Pijp.

Delicious ice cream, more than 10 of which are vegan (not just fruit ice cream). I really enjoyed the vegan pistachio ice cream. It tasted and looked very natural. The ambience is also pleasantly natural. Friendly service who was happy to provide information.

The ice cream was amazing, staff were super friendly and personable. It started hailing as we were ordering so we stayed inside and talked to the girl behind the counter for 20 minutes and she was super nice, as was the manager who came upstairs later

When I got back from my dinner at the Foodhallen, I saw this cute ice cream salon. We knew it was going to be a good place due to the line we needed to wait in. I always tend to get the crazy flavors and they had some here! So eventually being able to order I got the flavors Peanut butter / Straciatella & Vig /Almond / Pistache / Sesam (see the picture). I was positively surprised how great the combinations tasted. My friends tasted some other flavors and they were all really positive. I will definitely get another cone soon! A real recommendation here in Amsterdam.

The best I've cream in all Amsterdam, a huge range of exciting vegan choices (and not just sorbet) try the chocolate orange, chocolate cherry and pistachio! Love that they have a spar card too! ❤️

We had four flavours Matcha, cream and blackberry, pistachio and yoghurt. All were very watery, mild flavour and strange structure. Expected them to be more creamy. There were also small chunks of ice inside. For 4,2€ for 2 balls I won’t be back for sure.

Very good ice creams with slightly different flavors but recently they are mostly vegan so it depends on what you are looking for. I like their sorbets

Nice ice cream and great selection of flavours 🍨 would recommend the dark chocolate varieties as very chocolatey and not too sweet! Works super nice with another sweeter flavour. The salted caramel was nice but tasted more like vanilla. Would return again. The staff are very lovely

Lala-ijs overheerlijke eerlijke smaken ijs. Voor de 1 ste dit heerlijke ijs geproefd. Wij rijden graag 20 km om dit heerlijke ijs weer te komen proeven. Leuk en gezellig personeel!

Leckere vegane Eissorten! (+vegane Waffel)

So disappointing. This had to be the smallest scoop of ice cream that I have ever received anywhere in the world. And you know those tiny little spoons where they give you a taste--well the sample is literally 1/4 the size of that spoon--so little you can't even taste it. The person behind the counter, actually scraped the spoon to make sure she gave you less.

Delicious and creative flavors with reasonable prices and a lovely owner. We tried many flavors including some vegan options with house-made oat milk. Even on a cold windy night it was a lovely treat after dinner nearby.

Een van mijn favoriete ijssalons in Amsterdam op een gezellige plek tegenover de Hallen in Oud West. Bij Lala ijs hebben ze in de zomermaanden een groot aanbod aan biologisch (en sorbet) ijssmaken. In de winterperiode kan je hier genieten van heerlijke koffie van Rum baba (ook te koop in de Jordaan).

Volgens mij het beste ijs van Amsterdam (en ik heb er veel geprobeerd). Kardemom en tahini zijn verrassend lekker. Ook is het personeel erg aardig.

Yes I can give some feedback. I always take 3 scoops, this was the first time I didn’t finish. I had a regular stracciatella, peanut butter stracciatella and yoghurt blueberry. Sorry it was very disappointing- looks nice to have unusual and different flavours but the classic ones have to win! As you can see I rarely am disappointed because I always go to places above 4,5 🌟

Beste ijs ever en ik kom ervoor naar Amsterdam. Vele soorten vegan ijs, niet enkel de bekende sorbetsmaken. Superlekker is het chocolade-hazelnoot-sinaasappelijs, en ik háát chocoladeijs ;) Als bonus is alles ook nog bio!

Aparte smaken ijs. Valt beter op de maag dan ijs van veel andere ijssalons. Wij zijn fan!
