A very welcoming Italian restaurant in the center of Amsterdam. The food was delicious, and despite the location, the prices are very reasonable. We especially appreciated the speed and friendliness of the service. We would definitely return!

Very dissapointing. We came wit social deal. My husband ordered a pizza quatro stagioni. It only had some pieces of ham and a few old mushrooms (no 4 seasons at all, just a very poor fall). I had a pasta carbonara. It was not nice at all, I think the sauce was not homemade. I tried to eat as much pasta as possible without the (not home made) sauce because I was so hungry. But I was not feeling well afterwards. In the deal was dessert included so we tried it. My husband had a tiramisu, we had a tiramisu at ikea the day before and that one was better. I had a chocolate salami, promised with crunchy biscuit. Well, no crusty texture anywhere, everything was soft (old?) The waiter was also not really friendly to us, at a certain point we were the only guests and he just went outside… After the pizza and pasta he asked if we had enjoyed it. My husband is always polite so he said it was okay. I told him that I didnt enjoy the pasta. He did say I should have said it earlier so he could have made me something else. Be aware off the prices of the drinks! A beer is almost €10!!! Ridiculous!

This was the most delicious meal I’ve had since arriving in the Netherlands. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous, so I highly recommend stopping by for a meal while traveling. The owner, Marcel, is also very friendly.

I was here with friends because of a Social Deal. This made the price attractive. I did have to swallow hard when I saw the prices of the soft drinks and other beverages. But I must say that you do get a generously sized glass for that price.

The waiter was so kind and also careful with my gluten allergy, I could eat gluten free pasta, it was so good!!

We thought it was a special Italian restaurant but actually you can eat there almost all kind of food. The food was average and not as we expected. The waitress was also the cocker, kind of strange in my opinion. Overall we were disappointed (after reading more reviews, we expected much more). Sorry.

Friendly and welcoming staff, great variety of options to choose from. My chicken pasta tasted super fresh and delicious. Overall we had a great time and would return. 🫶🏼 Just the interior was a random and could be improved.

The pasta bolognese was really nice. For me the portion could be a bit bigger. The dessert on the other hand was quite big, which could ironically have been smaller for me. Friendly owner. Reasonable prices.

The food was made quickly and tasted nice. Best part were defininitely the desserts. Drinks are a bit pricey, but the glasses are large so thats nice. Overall a very nice place to sit down for a good dinner.

The best restaurant I've ever been to. The food was superb—fresh, natural, and homemade—and the service and customer care were wonderful. In my opinion, I would return to Amsterdam just to have that food again.

The food was absolutely delicious! The waiter was also the cook, but we didn't notice at all. It was very tasty and perfectly arranged.

We went based on a Google Maps recommendation and because it was very close to our hotel in Amsterdam, and it didn't disappoint at all. The food was excellent, both the pizza and the pasta we ordered, and the service was impeccable. Definitely 100% recommended. And being open until 11:00 PM, which was perfect for us Spaniards!

We went here for dinner and had some expectations after seeing the reviews. The wine tasted like nothing and was very expensive. The waiter messed up half our order and the seafood tasted old and not like seafood at all. Every meal had some weird spices on it which didn't help the meal at all. Very expensive and terrible quality. Risotto didn't have any wine or cheese in it and was cooked with some cream or milk.

That was one of the worst dining experiences of my life. The wine was practically dish soap, the waiter misunderstood two of our orders (which might have been due to his AirPod), and the food was awful. The risotto we ordered was basically just plain rice with cream, and the shrimp were full of sand. On top of that, we were charged €2 for a bit of Parmesan cheese. Because of the seafood, I ended up with terrible stomach pains afterward. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

A delightful and delicious experience. We were so glad to have found this place. Plenty of food and wonderful service. The owner is an absolute pleasure and the food was some of the best Italian we have had so far. Would recommend anytime for their responsible prices and charming atmosphere.

I don’t recommend taking the steaks, otherwise pretty good. Ordered a medium-rare steak. The steak was cooked so well done that the cow’s ghost came out to thank the chef for the thorough cremation. Only one option of beer, and wines. The risotto was nice.

I would highly recommend this restaurant. We have been in Amsterdam for 4 days and we have had dinner here twice. First night we had pizza and the second time we had the lasagna. Antonio is very attentive to all of his patrons. Again, I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Just round the corner from our hotel. Not the most romantic of places, but the food was very good. My wife ordered mussels, which came with chips and salad. Tuna and onion pizza is my favourite so it gets the thumbs up from me.

It was simply good. My husband and i went there for a quick dinner and the food did the job. We really liked it and definitely will come back whenever we are in Amsterdam again.

A delicious pizza followed by a dame blanche in the heart of Amsterdam—sounds fantastic! What started as a pleasant evening ended in an argument in the middle of the restaurant. My family (five) and I were going out for a nice dinner. But before we could even finish our pizza, dessert was served. While we were eating our pizza, another family of five (who had made a reservation for fifteen minutes later) walked in and asked if they could sit down. The owner responded that they would have to wait a bit since there was no room left at that moment. We saw the writing on the wall, and so did the owner. A minute later, dessert was served, even though we weren't ready for it at all. "Just eat quietly," we said to each other, suspecting we were about to be sent away. Shortly after we put down our cutlery, both the table next to us, who hadn't finished eating yet, and we were asked to leave the restaurant. When we responded by saying we hadn't even been there for 40 minutes, had made a reservation, and simply found it rude, the owner launched into his "peculiar" argument. "You made the reservation, not me," we were told, because he believed we were to blame for making the reservation. We then told him he should make sure the people with reservations had a seat long enough. But the owner disagreed, because WE had made the reservation, so it was OUR fault. After a few minutes of discussion, we were done with this "peculiar" argument and decided to leave the restaurant after paying. Also, while we were making our selection, we were suddenly told that EVERYONE HAD to buy a drink, even though we were already satisfied with a larger bottle of water to share. (This wasn't a requirement on any social deal, by the way.) The food itself was delicious, with little to complain about. Thanks for the delicious food and the mints, but the owner's advice is to adjust his approach.

We ended up at this restaurant thanks to the social deal. The food was delicious and the portions were generous, but we had a bad experience. After arriving at 5:20 PM, we were back outside at 6:05 PM, because the owner also allowed reservations for 6:00 PM, and there wasn't enough room for them. After we and other guests confronted the owner about this, we were told rather rudely that we were wrong because we made the reservation. This is, of course, complete nonsense. I've never seen the owner practically send you away after 40 minutes without any good reason. His apology: I can't change the reservations, and yes, you did get your food.... Or don't offer your restaurant on Social Deal, or make sure your reservation system is up to par... You can cancel your reservations even more easily by phone... We've already paid for everything through Social Deal... This is clearly about maximizing revenue, not keeping your guests happy... You're not going to serve dessert before you've even finished the main course... Bad about Social Deal, the owner, and this restaurant... the food is fine, but why treat your guests like that and show them the door? It's a missed opportunity and very unfortunate.

A very cozy restaurant, a super friendly waiter, and I even got two free shots and two desserts. The food was delicious, as were the drinks. Truly wonderful, great atmosphere, and highly recommended!!

We made a reservation here through Social Deal at 5:30 PM. Immediately after the last bite of our dessert, the owner showed up with the debit card. We had to pay and make way for new guests who had made reservations for 6:00 PM. We protested, of course, but unfortunately to no avail. We only received nonsense from him and left. We were inside for a total of 35 minutes. I definitely cannot recommend this restaurant. Something might go wrong with the reservations, but at least accommodate your customers a little by, for example, deducting a drink from the bill. But nothing of the sort.
