La Place in Wijk 03 West

Een emmer smerige saus over een hotdog gooien. Het broodje niet eens met een mes doorheen te komen. Bah. Nooit meer. ....

20 min wachten om 2 tosties te kunnen bestellen, dan nogmaals 20 min om te kunnen betalen, en hierna nog 30 min moeten wachten om dan uiteindelijk 2 volledig uitgedroogde tosties te krijgen die dan ook amper warm waren van binnen en zonder smaak... dit alles voor een rekening van 25 euro met 2 Frankie's bij... nooit meer!

Toen we de La Place binnen gingen was het erg druk en moest je zoals altijd beginnen met aanschuiven aan de zelfbediening. Alles was makkelijk om te pakken en het stond allemaal op de juiste plek. Ik had gekozen om eens loaded fries te eten. Dit omdat ik het wou uitproberen. Je moest het bestellen en kreeg een machientje dat piepte als het klaar was. Dit werkte allemaal zeer goed alleen duurde het maken ervan zeer lang. Er waren mensen die later binnen waren gekomen die eerst hun bestelling kregen toen dat wij aan het wachten waren. Uiteindelijk toen de bestelling klaar was na ongeveer een half uurtje, wat erg lang is, bleek het dat ze er één te weinig hadden gemaakt. Dus moesten we nog even wachten. Het eten zelf was gelukkig wel warm en het kon me wel smaken. Enkel de portie dat we kregen voor de prijs was niet in verhouding vind ik. Ik ben nu zelf niet meer klein, maar als je klein was kon je ook in de speeltuin gaan spelen wat een pluspunt is. We werden op het laatst nog vriendelijk bediend door een voorbijlopende medewerker zodat we zelf ons bord niet meer moesten weg leggen. Ik zou hier wel zeer graag nog eens komen, maar dan eerder voor een burger aangezien die wel snel klaar waren en je niet te veel tijd verspilt aan het middageten tussen het shoppen door. De prijs-kwaliteit verhouding kon dus een beter en het kon ook een stuk sneller gaan, maar de rest was allemaal in orde.

Not really to speak about this la place and at the moment, there are better ones.

It was very busy, but it was nice to be outside on the terrace. Unfortunately, most tables were not clean. Just a wipe makes such a difference.

Not the best of La Place, the sandwiches, soup, coffee and pastries are delicious but quite expensive. At the time of our visit it was not very clean.

Food is not worth the price! They have not heard of hygiene. The only nice thing is the nearby playground, and that's it!

Always been a big fan of this La Place branch. More than 5 years ago we were very happy and enthusiastic that another La Place branch was coming to Roosendaal, this time not located in the city center as before, but at the Rosada Outlet! Fortunately, there were some old faces from the closed V&D branch working here, including the manager of this Outlet branch. It was a very nice place, with very nice seats, a beautifully maintained terrace, delicious food and incredibly good and fun staff with competent management. For that reason we came to this branch, sometimes several times a week. With emphasis on; CAME! Since the last year, none of the above points are left! We gave it a chance several times after things deteriorated so drastically here, but unfortunately it kept getting worse. I already had a suspicion, but during the last visit I just asked one of the cheeky young people who are 'working' there today. All the permanent staff have left, including the manager who worked there for years. Since then it has really been that bad here. Everything immediately fell into place and all the regular faces have been replaced by teenagers who are very busy with each other. To the question; we would like to speak to someone who is responsible from now on. We got a strange answer. Succession apparently changed several times in one year. And from now on, those 2 will take care of things here, the cashier told us, while pointing to 2 somewhat giggling employees who clearly had different priorities than what we think is the intention, to continue a good business (which it once was). After all these disappointments, and unfortunately this sad confirmation, we will never come here again!

Food is fine. We had pastries, a piece of carrot cake and a brownie, and I had a smoothie, which was also very tasty!! Service is always good and the atmosphere is also great. I had the feeling that there was little choice regarding food. It was pastry, a warm sandwich (burger/satay) or a 'greasy' sandwich.

Stop here for a sandwich during a visit to the outlet. Presentation was very inviting and sandwiches are always freshly made and replenished. We had a baguette with ham and mustard and a focaccia tuna salad and a frikandellen sandwich. The sandwiches are very well filled for the price. The atmosphere in the shop is great and there is a place for everyone to sit. Low seats, high seats. Too bad that the footrest at the back of the store was hanging at half past six because it had been broken off. The toilet could have received a little more attention.

Food took a long time to be ready. The chicken satay I had was chewy and hard. My wife had a steak that was well cooked, but the salad that came with it was very poor. I was allowed to take this myself, but there was virtually nothing left.

La Place has a wide choice of dishes for large or small appetites. There is also plenty of choice for coffee/tea with something tasty. Price/quality is an issue; I personally think it is very pricey.

This is so terrible that it deserves less than zero stars - low hygiene (flies), bad service (servers on phone), pricey and low quality food (burnt, no taste). Only plus is a nice playground at the back for kids with drinks. By far the worst La Place ever!

Had a sandwich that I think had been in the display case for a long time, was tough.

Unfortunately, we had something different in mind when we chose this restaurant. We chose the restaurant because of the unique outdoor play area for the kids and we thought that we would definitely get meat, pizza, etc. that would fill us up. However, we then realized that the concept of the restaurant was more like a canteen than a restaurant. The portions are very small and the selection is not that big. We also cleaned the tables ourselves, as well as the cutlery. The staff just couldn't keep up. The surprise was also forgotten with the kids menu. We only received them later when we asked. The overall price for 6 people was the same as lunch the day before in a top pizzeria! So la Place unfortunately couldn't score here either. For us it is clear that we would be happy to recommend la Place for drinking coffee, snacks and sweets. Not for a main meal.

A cup of delicious tomato soup is always good to eat at La PLACE

Lousy service. There are no Laplace cards and you can get a 10% discount, but you have to let us know before you order, otherwise they can immediately give you less. Very childish. Don't go in again. Very customer unfriendly staff!

The food was not great for the price you pay. On top of it, they are very slow

Everything is incredibly expensive, for a sausage roll where you have to look for the sausage. They ask for a top prize. Outside on the terrace, all the chairs were shat by the birds.

Food and drinks are very expensive

I felt bad just having coffee. It wasn't clean. You were stuck to the floor, that was around 10 o'clock in the morning.

You wait too long for what you get. Dirty everywhere, and when they clean it, it's still dirty. You give this place a wide berth.

Expensive and not really friendly

Moderate occasion. I was shocked that the food was not presented covered. Flies are having a party here. Cutlery and glassware filthy.

Dirty cutlery and straws were gone

This is by far the worst branch from LaPlace. The food portion, quality, hygiene, service and everything else I think of are unacceptable. Salad bowls were all empty, cutlery were half missing and the rest were not washed properly and you can find pieces of food on it.

Dated and tables not clean. For the price that La Place charges you can also eat a sandwich elsewhere

staff looked outside... not a pleasant experience... tried again after 4 years... in vain... there are so many staff/students picking their noses... no one manages them... and yet the knives were simply rancid and dirty... have them washed again and thoroughly! They re-fry the old fries...never ever do that! You should throw them away... and use regular fries... they don't make any sense... And the toilets that are not accessible should not be allowed in such a business... call a plumber who will come right away! Worthless business.... but there are more La Place's like this... 15 years ago compared to now.... 👎😢

No negative comments about the food. About staff. It stands there and watches. Here my advice would be to put someone with more experience in hospitality. They are young and need more guidance. But now the toilet. I am with my 85-year-old father and he cannot use the toilet. No one can go to the toilet, and I find that extremely annoying.

Delicious fresh dishes with a wide range of lattes. Delicious fresh fruit and a large terrace. Sometimes a bit on the busy side.

A lot of food placed openly looked dry and unhygienic. The place itself was not clean throughout. Food was mediocre, complete lack of allergens info and clear labelling.

The tables are rarely cleared... It's a Vapiano copy, nothing special. But the pasta was good.

Had to wait half an hour for one burnt stick of satay with some fries (€18!!!) The staff is mainly of teenage age and walks around unmotivated. Not interested in the customer. Toilets were downright filthy.

Ik werkte voor 1 dag hier. Had me ziekgemeld. Was later te zien in outlet omdat me gsm gestolen was en ik er naar op zoek was.

Somewhere halfway there was a sign asking for allergens. So I ask nicely, do you have gluten-free rolls? So they didn't have that. And came up with the alternative at another restaurant on Rosada. But the rest of my family had already grabbed sandwiches and stuff. They ate okay, but unfortunately I didn't. So it became a mint tea for lunch.

Cappuccino had hardly any foam, sausage roll tasted bad. If I go and get a sausage roll at the plus, it is 100 times tastier. Staff at the cash register very arrogant, like find out for yourself.

Terribly bad, the cappuccino has no foam layer. The toilet is very dirty and not maintained, the toilet brush is broken, and there is a lot of dust and dirt.

This La Place is in a beautiful location, in the outlet center, there is a beautiful and quiet terrace, with children's play equipment and space. It is also cozy inside. The range is typical of what La Place catering offers everywhere.

Perhaps the best, or better saying, the only OK-ish available option for lunch/dinner in the outlet market

2 stars because there is a nice playground. We had a cake, a coffee and a smoothie. The smoothie tasted bad and the coffee had no effect. I had a chocolate cake. I ate it twice and left the rest. Bone hard and little taste. My partner's cake was also worthless! Ideal for a soft drink, but I wouldn't order anything else there again! Luckily we had lunch a little further before we came here, after reading the other reviews!

Pricey and very busy at the time.

At this eatery they charge a lot of money for the food. A bottle of water costs €3.40 and a small sandwich €7. An egg salad sandwich €6.25 If you choose that, you don't expect that - having to stand in line for a long time -28 minutes have to wait for a sandwich -That the sandwich is just done. There are too few and inexperienced staff. In this case it is the last time.

There were 2 large signs offering breakfast for 8.95. This turned out to be no longer available... The signs still had to be removed. Now much less food for a really high price of 4.95 for a small glass of orange juice!
