We came here by chance, looking for a place to have coffee on a Saturday morning, and got a full breakfast for a very nice price. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive! The cafe was almost empty and there were no people. I recommend it for breakfast

Music too loud, air conditioning freezing, noise

It's a filthy mess there!! And the customer service from the young lady who also looks completely unrepresentative is downright antisocial. The one who wasn't in uniform and later, while there were still guests in the restroom, threw water at the floor to scrub it. Nice and safe... Not!!!!

The food was fine, as you'd expect from La Place. However, the interior was incredibly filthy: dirty restrooms, dirty cutlery in the bins, and dirty tables. They did try to encourage customer loyalty, as the floor at our table was so sticky that we were stuck to it.

We're here now, and the healthy sandwich was put on a dirty plate again. I asked if it could be put on a plate, and then she found it difficult to make a sandwich on it. Then it took ages for the sandwich to be ready. When we sat down, she said there wasn't even an egg on it, so I guess they're out of eggs. What a shame, and terrible service. We won't go back here again. We'll go to Back Werk, the service and food are much better. That's why it was so quiet here. If only they spent less time on their phones and kept the place clean; the toilet is so filthy.

Ridiculous advertising for take-away breakfast. They don't have coffee cups with lids. Unfriendly woman behind coffee table. No lid, figure it out, it came across, not her problem.

They come here every week to eat a sandwich, very tasty, but they only sit on the terrace that comes with it and eat fries from the cafeteria opposite! They should have more control over this, because this is only for guests of La Place, right?

I didn't eat there because the prices were too high.

Sandwiches aren't what they used to be. A super small sandwich for 7.50, truly outrageous.

La Place advertises "good food" as "preparing the food fresh while you wait." Well, I had a ham sandwich there yesterday, and it was already ready. But hey, they're freshly made, so it can't be that old, right? Long story short, the sandwich was really stale and old. The ham slices were way too thick, and let's not even get started on the restrooms, because they're so filthy that I've decided to never come back. And the restrooms have been dirty for months by the time I read the reviews. And the food hasn't been fresh for quite some time. Unfortunately, I'm only just reading this now...

Today I ate at La Place Enschede for the first time and unfortunately I did not experience it as pleasant. My girlfriend and I literally ate the worst sandwich ever today here at La Place Enschede. Besides the fact that we both got sick from it, I still had to throw up. That pita roasted chicken sandwich is really not recommended. And if I had the authority I would really close this case because I have never had it this dirty before. 1st and last time LA place for us. All I can say is don't go there and if you go there check your sandwich for freshness!

Super tasty cappuccino and the pistachio croissant was super tasty.

The herb butter sandwich has no taste, it made me feel nauseous all day, and the toilet was very dirty and would not flush.

Better than that, apricots in Damascus. :) Prices are affordable. The products are fresh. Good location. The only minus is that it doesn't have much space outside. But I'm not sure if that counts as a minus too.

For full air conditioning! It is impossible to stop with small children

Nice place, good dishes, and affordable price!

We ate delicious vegetarian asparagus and vegetarian tomato basil soup with delicious crotons. Nice staff, cozy to sit and clean toilets.

Had a good breakfast, but I think I miss the old system

It's actually a really nice shop. At our time the selection was relatively small. Nice strong cappuccino. The sandwich was quite good. A larger selection of sandwiches would be nice.

We still had the door handle in our hands when we were corrected by 2 employees behind the counter that my girlfriend was NOT allowed to enter BY BICYCLE. After we said that this was a disabled vehicle, the unfriendly man with the beard said that that was not allowed. Then I wasn't so friendly anymore. What terribly rude treatment for someone who cannot walk. No more la place for me.

I am very curious who is in charge of la place Enschede. So many come from outside Enschede and sometimes you think the loot has arrived, you don't want to earn anything? Think about that about your staff? Many come in and leave immediately. It is also sometimes really busy, but not as it used to be. You ask for cappuccino or latte. Or too lukewarm or cup half poured. You want to sit outside and there is no place because the people who get fries across the street sit here. It's not inviting, such a shame. However, the young man who still works there is very friendly and works hard and I think for whom?? Take an example of la place Deventer. You can sit comfortably outside and Enschede really isn't a place to sit.

Nice, smaller self-service restaurant. Ideal for taking a break between shopping to have a drink or a bite to eat. The map includes, among other things: freshly prepared sandwiches and rolls as well as really delicious soups. If you prefer something sweet, you can choose between different, delicious types of cake. The only thing I miss is the Appeltaart met pecanoten in the size that it once had at La Place at V&D.

One time the dog was allowed inside, but today we were snapped away by an employee. Confusing and not really up to date.

Has deteriorated somewhat over time

I'm used to better things from La Place, little choice and cleaning up at 2.30 pm. The toilets had also lacked some attention.

Been today. To have breakfast. Too bad they don't have sandwiches yet when they open at 9 am. The staff says yes, it could take another half hour. Then you shouldn't open at 9 am. Girl behind the counter had no idea. Too bad I won't be coming back here anytime soon

Vriendelijk personeel, broodjes waren lekker vers. Sfeer was matig en valt in het niets met restaurant tegenover dit filiaal.

Niet meer wat het geweest is. Het was heel rustig maar blijkbaar vond men het niet nodig om de tafeltjes schoon te maken. Vrijwel op elke leeg tafeltje lag rommel, of was gewoon vies. Ook als je geen kaas lust zijn er nooit lekkere broodjes. Altijd zit er brie, smeerkaas, of ander soort kaas op.

Koffie was lauw saucijsje ook niet warm

Hier kun je een heerlijke Latte drinken.

Alles prima, airco stond te koud voor deze regenachtig dag.

Zaterdagmiddag om 4 uur uitgestorven en ook weinig nog in de vitrines. Begonnen om je heen al aan de schoonmaak.

Het was natuurlijk druk geweest. Daarom was het wat rommelig. Broodje en sap was goed. Wc' niet netjes. Dame wel vriendelijk.

Eten was erg duur maar wel heel lekker

Lange rij bij de kassa omdat er afgerekend word en hetzelfde meisje ook de koffie moet maken

Geen aandacht voor schone tafels woj moesten vragen of de tafel schoongemaakt kon worden.

Ein Selbstbedienungslokal, lange grosse Tische, viel Auswahl an Speisen und kleine Snacks . Brötchen usw werden staendig frisch zubereitet . Mich erinnert das interior ein wenig an eine Jugendherberge.

Guter Kaffee, guter Tee ☕️, interressantes gemischtes Publikum, sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter.

Gutes Essen zu fairen Preisen .Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit .Auch Kaffee und Kuchen sind sehr lecker. Bei einem Besuch von Enschede ein Muss.

We kwamen aan het eind v.d. middag en konden wel weg gekeken worden. Terwijl ze nog zeker een tijd open waren.

Kop snert met plakje roggebrood spek was in de aanbieding, ik nam alleen een kop snert en moest volle pond betalen? Toen ik dit zei tegen de medewerker kreeg ik als antwoord, moet je de roggebrood er maar bij pakken, heb ik maar gedaan om deze vervolgens in de prullenbak te deponeren.......iets over verspilling of zo.......

Gewoon zoals la place van vroeger gewend was in de V&D
