The staff were impeccable, welcoming, and very attentive. As for the food, there's nothing to complain about. The food is excellent and very good value for money. 😉

Every year in Bergen, we go to LA TERRAZZA on the first evening and have always been very satisfied – except this August. My Vulcano pizza (the spicy one) was completely tasteless, and it seemed as if an intern had put the toppings on. After I very politely pointed out to the initially friendly waitress that both the spice level listed on the menu and the garlic were missing, and that the pizza seasoning was almost entirely absent, she wordlessly returned a minute later with a bottle of chili oil and, as her only "solution," slammed it down on the table in front of me. My pizza was still tasteless, just a bit spicier. After that, the waitress seemed cold and visibly rude. Something like this shouldn't happen in an established restaurant these days, especially at these prices. Mistakes happen, yes, but how you rectify them in a service-oriented way, or not, is another matter entirely. The worst pizza of my life. And for us, this will be our last visit to this restaurant.

Super rude: called to make a reservation for a table for three people. When we arrived, we weren't allowed to sit with three people after all, because the table is for four. Not hospitable. The last time for me!

It took an hour for it to arrive, but it was well worth it. It was probably due to the rush, and they managed to arrange it well.

For the first time in 50 years, I said the food wasn't good. The Mezzelune was smothered in a watery sauce that had absolutely no flavor, even though the sauce is very important for the taste. I had the Pizza 4 Stagioni myself, which was the worst in 50 years. Very dry, everything mixed together, and far too little flavor. I even added olive oil myself, otherwise it was inedible. With a bit more attention to the dough and the 4 Seasons presentation, which benefits the more intense flavor when everything is grouped together. The service was really fine. The tetamisu was also dry and had been sitting there for a while, which you could taste from the dried-out sides. Everything was far below par.

The food was very disappointing. We had the mezzelune, the sauce of which was very watery and tasteless. We also had a Quattro Stagione pizza which was very dry. Unfortunately, the bottle of Nero davola and the tiramisu were also below expectations. We would not recommend this restaurant. Unfortunately.

Classic Italian cuisine. Quite crowded, so long waiting times...

We had a delicious Pizza Vulcano at La Terrazza this evening. The place was busy; we hadn't made a reservation because we were tourists at the Arts Market in Bergen. Nevertheless, the staff had no trouble preparing a table for two for us, provided we waited just a little while. The service was very friendly and the pizza was very tasty, just as you would expect in an Italian restaurant! You guys are amazing! Thank you for your hospitable welcome! We enjoyed our stay in Bergen!

Ate a delicious pizza; every ingredient tasted fresh. It is one of the tastiest pizzas I have ever eaten. The staff is very friendly and we didn't have to wait long. Sfeed is wonderfully relaxed.

After two years, I was in Bergen again and ate at La Terrazza again – very delicious food and good service.

We have been coming here for 10 years during our annual weekend in Schoorl. We had a good meal, but shrinkflation is noticeable here too. Calamari as a starter costing over 15 euros; a small portion with little garnish. It should have cost half that; the flavor came from the sauce. Regretted it afterwards. The pizzas were tasty, but here too, the toppings are now only sprinkled around the edges; the rest of the pizza remains tomato sauce with a stick of cheese. We had a good meal, but for the price, I expected more.

Fine restaurant. Pizza and ravioli were good. Service was quick and friendly. The decor is dated.

What a wonderful surprise! We unexpectedly and spontaneously went out for dinner at this Italian restaurant, without a reservation. Luckily, there was still room for us. The food was truly delicious. The portions were just right: ample, but not overly large. This left us plenty of room to enjoy both a starter and a dessert. Everything tasted fresh and prepared with care. The service was very friendly and welcoming, which made the evening even more enjoyable. The price was also very reasonable, especially for the quality and the amount you get. Definitely a restaurant we'd love to return to!

Best handmade pizza I have ever tasted in the Netherlands and the lasagne out of this world you can taste the love that goes into the food. Will return again

I tried a pasta bolognese today. I thought it couldn't go wrong. I noticed it was a rather small portion for just over €16. This might have been enough for a child, not an adult. And if it were really good, it would have been okay, but unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. The spaghetti and sauce weren't mixed or bound together, and the flavor was superficial. The pizzas are always excellent, but this pasta unfortunately doesn't deserve a passing grade.

Really nice location, with outstanding service and absolutely incredible food. Price wise I suppose is relative, we're canadian and the same meals/drinks in a similar type of place with the same input of people would have been $800 or more. So, relatively speaking the price was fantastic for the food and service. Definitely recommend

Beautiful terrace and lovely view of Bergen's central square. Reasonably good atmosphere, but steeply priced for the quality. Dog-friendly, though.

Pizza with a wide crust and thin toppings. The taste was okay. The pasta was better, but the ingredients were still sparingly presented. Prices were medium to high. Absolutely average. It could be better, given the location.

Fantastic Italian restaurant ❣️ First we had real tomato soup with cream. 🍀 Afterwards we got pastas, which were also excellent💞 To top it all off, delicious desserts🎊😍 The service was very attentive and super nice, especially at closing time 😇💝❣️

Unfortunately, we weren't satisfied with our visit. The drinks didn't arrive until about 20 minutes later, even though they had been sitting on the counter for 10 minutes – and unfortunately, our order wasn't quite right either. After the appetizers, we had to wait about 15 minutes for our plates to be cleared. What disappointed us most, however, was that even after more than 60 minutes, we still hadn't received our ordered pizzas, while other guests who arrived later were already being served. Upon inquiry, it turned out that the pizzaiolo didn't even know about our order. We then paid and left the restaurant without food (pizzas) – and without an apology from the staff. It's a shame, the overall experience was disappointing. I haven't experienced anything like this in a long time.

Staff had no attention for customers

We're in Bergen for five days and have eaten here twice already. The pizza and spaghetti carbonara were absolutely delicious. The service is very friendly and fast :) We'll definitely be back tomorrow ;)

It was fine, but very large, a bit canteen-like.

Wanted to have a nice glass of wine with my wife at 5 p.m. Everything (still) quite empty inside, many tables with all reserved signs, except outside where it got too cold. Girl wanted to serve, but had to ask. Waiter did NOT like it because "they went into dinner mode". Then things are going too well for you!

On Saturday April 5 we had dinner at La Terazza in Bergen. The food and service are good and the staff very helpful. So if you are near Bergen North Holland, the restaurant is definitely recommended. Frank and Karin from Gennep in Limburg.

It was packed on Saturday evening. No more room. So we return on Sunday. It was less busy, so we saw our chance! Our experience: the food was of good quality and tasty. Presentation not what we are used to from an Italian restaurant. The bruschetta was too hard (a bit burnt) and the tomatoes were cut too coarsely, overall taste was okay. We love shared dining (not because of the costs, but because we are gourmets but don't want to eat too much), but people in this restaurant were not very familiar with that. We did get 2 extra plates each time. We had indicated that we wanted the antipasti, primi and secondi to be served as separate courses. The antipasti went well, but the primi and secondi were brought out at the same time. Of course that doesn't work. Furthermore, at any given time (it was just before 8:00 PM) there were only 3 tables occupied. The staff was already cleaning up and walking around with garbage bags. Then you feel like you are being ignored. If you want to have a quick pasta or pizza, definitely stop by here. If you really want to enjoy Italian food, look further.

Excellent food and fantastic hospitable and pleasant service. Highly recommended and definitely try the homemade tiramisu for dessert.

Delicious food in this cozy Italian restaurant. Staff, young friendly people. The choice is huge in terms of pizzas and pastas. But also meat and fish. Concluded with a lovely Dame Bianca. We will definitely go back again 😉

A nice large restaurant where you can enjoy a delicious meal. We first wanted to make a reservation, but that was no longer possible. When we went to the restaurant there was still room for us. Fortunately, because you can eat very tasty food there. I ordered a seafood pizza and it was great. Even with shells on it...

We got here very late, so the kitchen was actually already closed. Nevertheless, we were still allowed to order a simple main course. We were served extremely friendly and, despite the late hour, without haste. The food was very good.

Delicious food, beautiful restaurant, but I do have a few small points for improvement: generally friendly (our complicated order went very well), but they 'don't serve tap water' (I asked for a carafe of water but I got a bottle, while the 9 of us just came there to eat!) and they immediately threw away leftover food without asking if we wanted to take it with us (there was a napkin over it, so it wasn't very clear, but still).

Very good Italian restaurant. Nice decoration with subdued lighting. Smiling and fast service. Good pizza and pasta. Good Italian cocktail. Good Italian dessert (afogato) 😉.

The fish soup was Italian with lots of mussels and ok. Tagliatelle al Salmone was the worst I've ever eaten. Everything had an indefinable and not good taste and the pieces of salmon in it didn't even taste like salmon, but just like this uniform taste. Never again. The staff was very friendly. There was little activity and the kitchen was certainly not overwhelmed.

The pasta was good, but unfortunately the pizza dough wasn't crispy and was very difficult to cut despite good cutlery. Unfortunately, my Capriciosa tasted very bland, but the ingredients were fresh.

Very nice meal! Staff very friendly. As a starter we had a mixed starter with a mix of Italian snacks, which was very tasty and nicely presented. Main course and dessert were also excellent. Had a nice evening! :)

Pizza was tasty, base a bit hard. Price performance fits. Drinks at €3.5 for 0.2 are way too expensive.

We have known the owner for 15 years! He does the preparatory work and later this is taken over by the staff. Whether you drink a cup of coffee in the morning or have lunch or dinner, it is made with attention and is supplemented for your personal taste, so TOP!!! An extra napkin is not a difficult request for them either. No, I hope that this owner has successors so that we can enjoy his qualities and delicious food for years to come. Han Boerhof (comes to Bergen at least twice a year to enjoy all the beautiful things about this place.)

We were really looking forward to Italian food and ordered lasagne and tagliatelle al salmone. The lasagne was only lukewarm, the pasta was a little under-seasoned, which you can change yourself. Ambiance could be improved. We were “allowed” to look at an untidy corner, which wasn’t all that exciting. The food tasted pretty good so far. Unfortunately it wouldn't be my first choice. 👋🏼

It wasn't our first time here and we were satisfied so far. Today we had two pasta dishes, tagliatelle with salmon and spaghetti with prawns, and the taste was really manageable. Despite salt, pepper and parmesan you couldn't taste the food. Same with the salad (pollo). The pizzas at the neighboring tables looked good. The price/performance ratio for our meal (+2 glasses of wine and water) was not right (€82). In addition, vinegar and oil bottles on the table were totally greasy. No recommendation this time!

Four of us were at La Terrazza this evening. The food was OK. Tagliate di Manzo 1/5 stars Pizza 4/5 stars Rigatoni Nonna 3/5 But the service was on totally overwhelmed this evening. Far too few staff for far too many guests. Waiting time from ordering until the food arrived: 67 minutes Waiting time until we could pay was over 20 minutes It is important to reserve in advance!

At 7.30pm a dinner for a family of 4 was allegedly not possible due to staff shortage. Shortly after a couple was seated and served. I never experienced such a bad lie in a restaurant before.

Let me start positively. Friendly staff and delicious food. Most of the staff seemed quite young and inexperienced to us. Unfortunately, this was noticeable in the service. We had to wait quite a while before we were asked something. I have yet to receive my last ordered beer. I just went to checkout, it took too long for me.

Very arrogant staff, they make fun of the 3rd guests... the cappuccinos are not drinkable and they also seem spoiled. We sat there for a short while yesterday afternoon. 2 boys and 1 girl who were very smart

Went back here again after years for a holiday. Pizza was fine, lasagna a bit on the small side for an adult. For dessert a coupe of amarene A8.50 € which contained 5 cherries and 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream. When we indicated that we thought it was a bit sparse, the waitress' response was "otherwise it would be too sweet"... Well, that's also an answer

Our regular spot for years. When the children were small, it was ideal for a quick bite to eat. Now we and our adult children still enjoy the friendly service, the food and the cozy atmosphere. For us this is always coming home, just great!

Due to many negative reactions here, I would like to post my experience here. We went on Saturday evening. We were half an hour early, but that was no problem. We immediately got something to drink and were able to easily choose what we wanted to eat. The service was very friendly and the pizza was delicious. Then a dessert which also tasted good. Had a good meal for a fair price in a cozy environment 😄

Today we had an extensive dinner. Drink coffee first. Neatly informed that the kitchen is closed between 4:30 PM and 5:00 PM, but that was also stated on the website. Unfortunately the bottle of wine went wrong, the wrong one was brought but it was resolved immediately. Then a delicious meal and a delicious dessert. The service was also very nice. An older Italian man kindly helped us. We were early and it wasn't super busy yet, but it became so later because all tables were reserved. But for a Friday it was very good.

Delicious spaghetti and a very cozy restaurant

It is not without reason that this Italian restaurant has been a household name in Bergen (N-H) for many years. The family's Sicilian roots are reflected in the taste of the dishes. The fish, meat and vegetarian (some also vegan) dishes taste excellent! On occasion, the chef likes to make something special outside the menu. For those who don't care much about culinary specialties, there are also tasty pizzas. In addition to sweet desserts, there is a simple, generous cheese board on the dessert menu. The wine list is reasonably priced and has delicious wines. Parking on the street or in the parking garage around the corner. Reservations are recommended!

Ik zag vele negatieve reviews en begrijp dit niet … heel vriendelijke mensen en heerlijk verse pasta gegeten voor nog geen 30 euro per persoon, drank en hapje inbegrepen.
