Very good experience at La Zoccola Singel in Amsterdam. We tried the Calzone and the Capricciosa pizza: delicious! The dough was very thin and tasty, and you can tell they use high quality ingredients. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere very pleasant, with few tables and a design that reminds of a cozy basement. Without a doubt, it was the place where we ate best in Amsterdam. Highly recommended!

The pizza here is out of this world good. We visited Amsterdam 2 other times and eat at this place each time. The place is small and cozy. The pizzas come out quickly and are great. The service has been spectacular every time.

The restaurant in Amsterdam, the pizza is very delicious, thin and the edges are perfectly crispy. We ordered a Napoli pizza and the second one was above me. The pasta is called Trofie and its ingredients are strange to us and not delicious at all. The white sauce was the only thing that made us suffer!!! The place is cozy and empty and not crowded. I recommend it for pizza 👍✨

Poor service and lest than average pizza. Weird that the other half of the kitchen serves pasta yet we couldn't order a pizza and a pasta. Crust was fabulous but sauce had minimal taste. Dont waste your time or money

Me and the wife had a lovely pizza in this little gym. We didn't go in the restaurant. We was in the takeaway or the overflow from the main restaurant. We had two pizzas and two bottles of beers and that was fantastic. You could easily share a pizza in here because of the size we were hungry and been out all day so tuck into one each.

Me and my girlfriend got served by Arsi. She was so kind and helpful, give her a raise! We got the tonno pizza and prosciutto and really enjoyed it (5 stars). Would definitely recommend. 5/5

One of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. When I entered, there was only one waiter and no one greeted me. I stood by the door, then even beside the waiter, and he completely ignored me. He walked past me multiple times without a single word. After he finally decided to give me a table, I told him I was ready to order, but he still delayed. I ordered a burrata pizza without carefully checking the menu. It turned out it had ham. The waiter spoke to me in Arabic and clearly understood that I don’t eat ham, yet he failed to mention it until after bringing the pizza. Only then he casually said “oh by the way, it has ham.” When I asked for the same pizza without ham, he told me I would have to pay again. In the end, I paid for food I couldn’t eat and left the restaurant hungry. The service was rude, careless, and completely unwelcoming from start to finish. Definitely not recommended.

Great pizza. We ordered several, and each one was fantastic. From the mild burrata to the spicy salami. The dough was delicious and served quickly. Unfortunately, there's no pasta here, but the pizzeria is connected to another restaurant serving other Italian dishes. We recommend

I had the absolute best dining experience here while visiting Amsterdam! My waitress, Arsi, was truly exceptional—warm, funny, and incredibly attentive. She made me feel so welcome, and we shared lots of laughs throughout the evening. Her service was flawless and genuinely the best I’ve ever had anywhere. This wasn’t just a meal, it was an experience I’ll remember fondly. Huge thanks to Arsi for making my visit so special! I can’t recommend this place highly enough and will definitely return next time I’m in Amsterdam.

We've eaten a lot of pizzas, but this one was truly one of the best ever. This small restaurant is located a bit away from the hustle and bustle, in a side street right by the canals of Amsterdam. The slightly basement-like design and the limited seating make it feel incredibly cozy and intimate. The pizza arrived super quickly, the base was wafer-thin, and the crust was incredibly crispy—simply delicious. We usually leave the crust alone, but this one was eaten up completely. If you love pizza, you should definitely stop by here.

We found this restaurant by chance while taking a walk and seeing the reviews we decided to go in for dinner and it was a good choice, the pizzas were very good, there was another Spanish family and it seems that since both groups were speaking a bit loudly, although there was no one else dining inside (the place is small), the girl who was serving was not very happy, she served a bit abruptly, but anyway, the food was good which is the important thing.

Super nice and helpful staff. I had the Mortadella &Burrata pizza. Their dough is chewy in a way that you can tell it was freshly made. It was superb. Burrata was also fresh. Everything was top notch. I would totally be back.

Service 4, pizza taste 5!, atmosphere 4 with a stretch. Very little space inside, no private space, not much space at all… The Italian atmosphere is a pizza oven. Actually, it's part of an Italian restaurant next door at the end of the building. But it's kind of separate. The toilet is a minus, dirty. My wife was in shock(. I didn't even go there… And also! chase away the cockroaches, because there were cockroach fragments stuck to the bottom of the beer bottle… I didn't take a picture because I was calming my wife… who was ready to stage a showdown of the pizzeria🤨

Food was absolutely delicious and the selection of different beers was also great. We would have appreciated a bit more friendliness from the staff, which unfortunately left something to be desired. The restroom appeared somewhat run-down, and the cleanliness was average at best. That said, we would still come back — the pizza was truly excellent.

Had a great experience at La Zoccola Singel in Amsterdam! The food was absolutely delicious – real Italian taste with great quality and fresh ingredients. Our server Arsi was amazing – very friendly, welcoming, and always smiling. The location is perfect, easy to find, with a simple and cozy vibe. We even enjoyed some lovely street music nearby, which made it even more special. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for tasty Italian food and great service!

The food was great, that homemade pizza dough is just out of this world. The place got overcrowded with a big group just as we arrived so the staff was a little bit overwhelmed and had to wait for service for some minutes, otherwise it would have been amazing (even so, the service was great, it was just this coincidence that made us wait)

The pizza here is very tasty and large but the prices are a little too high so there is still something that could be done. After 5 minutes you are back in the city center of Amsterdam and this area has many small brothels.

I had the gnocchi with a tomato based sauce, a meatball appetizer, and some fresh bread. That sauce is unlike anything I’ve ever had. Unmatched. All of it was phenomenal. It’s the best meal I’ve had in a long while. Service was great. Atmosphere was wonderful too. It’s in a beautiful old little building. Warm and cozy. They played Etta James, Al Green, Sinatra, and some more on the house system. I can’t imagine how it could’ve been any better. Thanks.❤️

Italian pizza restaurant, we ordered the Napoli and the prosciutto, the pizzas are good, they are not the best you are going to try, but they are good and have variety, the service is good and fast, and the place is not very big, the tables are quite close to each other, and it has a terrace with 6 tables, they have ambient music which when the place is full, between the music and the people talking and so close, it is somewhat annoying to be honest, the decoration is nice, recommended place to come and eat some pizzas.

A small pizzeria with a big oven, La Zoccola is as unpretentious as the side street in which it hides. The star of this show is the crust .. plenty of chew, plenty of flavour. Very good, generously sized pizza that left no room for dolci.

Very delicious pizza and focaccia

Torn here. On one hand, this is overpriced, average pizza in most contexts. Weirdly, it's the toppings rather than the dough - nice crust, well baked base, but supermarket grade stuff on top of it. But central Amsterdam isn't most contexts, and I guess we should all just be grateful that it isn't worse and more expensive than it is. It's a barren wilderness if you're not willing to walk like ten minutes further from centraal.
