We ate a very good pizza but I think the stuffed focaccia is worth trying.

Very rustic, great foccacia with unusual flavors, really recommend. Don't expect fine dining, but a good, down to earth atmosphere, really friendly service from happy people and very yummy food. Small menu, but they know what they're doing.

One of the best pizzas I've eaten outside of Italy! Fresh ingredients, from the dough to the baking, you can see the two chefs at work! I recommend it 100%.

Best pizza I’ve had in years! If you’re in Amsterdam and love pizza, this is the place to go. The place itself is quite small and not particularly glamorous, but the pizza is hands down the best in town. You can tell all the effort and attention go into the product. Keep it up!

Very authentic and very delicious.

It reminded me more of a long pizza than a pinsa, but it's still an excellent product, with good ingredients and a light dough. Like others, we had a broken ATM and they struggled to give us change. I recommend checking right away to see if it works.

Literally the best pizzas my friend and I have ever eaten in our lives. Real Italian pizzas, they are homemade, with fresh products. In addition, the staff is super cool and pleasant. The pizzeria is a victim of its own success because in terms of quality/price ratio, there will be no better, so plan ahead if you order. It is also located on a very nice and quiet little street. In short, 5 well-deserved stars!

Everything was perfect: food, service, speed... If I lived in the city, I would definitely return.

We ate fabulous foccacia! We almost regretted not ordering the medium size! The music was a bit too loud for our liking, though, to enjoy our lunch break.

We had the foccaccia salame piccante and porchetta homemade. It's fresh made and tastes amazing. The staff is super kind. Highly recommend this place 10/10!

Everything was baked fresh to order, that is reason enough to get lunch here, the staff was very kind. The music was a bit loud but once we started eating we were transported to Italy, and I forgot that I was in Amsterdam.

Ok, it’s small and unassuming but Victor delivers a wonderful pizza that will remain in your brain. Located in de Pijp in a wonderful area this is worth seeking out. I’ll be back for a sandwich next. And more of his pizza!

If you want pizza with cheese, don't go to this place. We went because of the reviews, but honestly, we found it pretty bland. The owners were very kind and friendly.

best. pizza. ever. oh my gosh it was incredible was such an incredible experience we got to see them fire the pizza and it was so delicious i ate the entire thing so fast the owners were so friendly and were even very understanding when my mother insisted on eating it with a fork. probably the best pizza i’ll ever eat

The staff need some serious anger management training.

Food was great but the service was terrible. The main server was awful at his job. Here’s a short summary of the various mistakes he made… - Forgot we reserved a table for 6. Thankfully there was space for us to sit although he had to move an entire table elsewhere. - Brings water for the table, only 3 glasses (there’s 6 of us). - Brings a bottle of wine, doesn’t bring any wine glasses. - Forgets one pizza order. No apology. 1 hour later the pizza finally arrives after everyone else finished eating and after others in the restaurant were served first even though they arrived later. - Needs to be reminded 4 times to bring a Coke Zero, responds rudely when we got frustrated. Finally brings it - it’s a regular Coke. The main chef was apologetic and removed the coke and pizza from our bill, but only after I insisted we won’t pay for those items. He also gave us a free tiramisu. He seemed to understand this server was just bad at this job so I felt a bit sorry for him.

The pork meat paradise, they also have an excellent Margherita for vegetarians, very minimalist and clean menu and only authentic quality products, no superfluous things, just good food for a reasonable price. I was impressed by the lightness and soft crunchyness of their pizza/focaccia dough. A dive into Roman ancient tradition of pizza and meat, thanks guys for this experience, I will come back!

The food is pretty good but the service is terrible,you can't even pay with card.

Great product but terrible staff: They leave one guy to handle the entire restaurant, so of course it takes him a long time to do everything. We tried a burrata and the dough texture and pizza flavor were nice, but it’s not worth it because of the wait and the COMPLETE lack of service. The place has no music and is ugly.

Great find! Delicious, non-pretentious Italian food :) Despite the name, there were several vegetarian options available on the lunch menu.

They definitely do not deserve this high rating at all. Don’t fool by their overrated reviews. Apparently they are deleting some comments tp keep the high rating, sneaky bur oldest trick in the book. I will say what I said before The stuff is so rude and they don’t treat you well if you are coming from another country… My friend was there a week ago, they asked a reservation when there is 45 min to their closing time. And he got rejected when there are more than 3 tables available It is one of those businesses who got cocky unfortunately I don’t recommend it, there are plenty of amazing pizza places

Very disappointed with this place. The food is mediocre, but the worst part is the service. I have never seen a place been so disorganised. I wouldn't recommend it.

We came to the entrance the waitress came to us chewing food while talking to us so we playfully made it known, after that they sited us down and then they kicked us out because maybe they didn’t like us :) The answer I was given by the owner is totally unacceptable as no one was yelling or mocking the waitress we just been mistreated and then kicked out by the team and while there was still half of the floor empty we got kicked out talking about reservations that I’m sure we’re not in the bookings :) , furthermore after the answer received by the owner of porchetteria I can only say you should be ashamed of yourself for treating your customer like this , not only after kinking them out and mistreating them you also lie on the web in order not to look bad . Shameful is the only word I can use to describe your business. Good luck

I usually don’t mind if service is not great or a bit inattentive as long as the food is great, but this was next level rudeness. The quality of ingredients and service is really not worth it.

La Porchetteria was a great spot in Amsterdam for a good but cost effective dinner! Food was simple, no-frills but delicious. Service was quick and staff were friendly. Loved it!

We had such an excellent meal here! Some of the best porchetta I've had (plus the whole place smelled incredible) and really surprising portions of delicious Antipasti for the price. I do wish there had been a bit of airflow though, or a table outside--it was a hot day and quite warm in the restaurant, even by the open door. But even with that, what a gem <3

This restaurant deserves its reputation for serving the best pizzas in Amsterdam! The atmosphere is no-nonsense, friendly, and hassle-free, a far cry from the "Instagrammable" restaurants. The prices are super affordable and the food is excellent!!

This place had literally the best pizzas and focaccias till two years ago. Sadly we recently experienced a completely different taste of both not only on the toppings but also on the dough which was completely different in taste. I hope they get the feedback and improve as it was literally tasty in the past.

I am a solo traveller and so rely on other people's reviews. This place is simple in decor but their food is amazing. Probably the best pizza I ever had...seriously. 2 lovely friendly Italian men run the restaurant and are happy to chat to the customers.

Everything was delicious, a slice of Italy in Amsterdam. We ordered a porchetta sandwich, a guanciale pinza, and a crudo pinza. Perfect pinzas! The porchetta could have had more meat, but it was delicious, and the focaccia was divine.

Wow!! This is an amazing little spot for pizza and sandwiches. We got the margherita pizza and the porchetta sandwich with their homemade porchetta annd burrata, and both were incredible. Truly delicious and so fresh! You have to eat here!!

The pizza was delicious! I even finished the tail in no time. It's not bad to visit alone, but you might have to join a table! Well, that's just everyday life. The atmosphere is a bit strange, but it's both good and bad.

A simple restaurant with a short menu that relies on its star performer: the porchetta pinsa. I highly recommend it. The bread is light and tasty, and the pork is tender and very well seasoned. I was curious to try the tiramisu, but I was already very satisfied. It will have to be saved for another visit.

Amazing music and delicious food !! The pizza dough is so pillowy and soft and the taste very authentic 💞 The workers are very nice. The inside is a little bare but it's so worth visiting.

Good heavens, so delicious! Peep through the fluorescent lights and step inside: the food is delicious. The menu offers a variety of pinsas (Roman pizzas), and honestly, I've never had anything better than this. Highly recommended: pinsa bianca ripiena with grilled vegetables and burrata. Mmmmmm.

The food is amazing, and the staff are very friendly. It's a nice restaurant, but the atmosphere is a bit lacking. The cream pizza is delicious. My mother and I were there, and we shared two pizzas. I had the chili salami, and my mother had a grilled vegetable pizza. They were so good. It's a restaurant worth visiting again and again. (It's also helpful to know that they don't speak Dutch, only English.)

Absolutely delicious!! Porchetta was so flavourful, juicy and freshly made. Pinsa bread was great with it and Cooked in a stone fire oven. I ordered the small size for €9 and it was a generous portion. Can’t wait to go back again soon.

The spicy salami sandwich was fantastic. The porchetta sandwich was great too. The staff is friendly; they're quite busy with just two people and a full restaurant, but they work hard. The price is great.

Best pizza I've had in my life. Being a Greek I have high standards when coming to food and I was really shook by the quality and quantity of the things we ordered. We were 3 people that ordered their own plate,plus one of the cheese and meat plate+drinks and our total was around 50 eu! Crazy good,looking forward to next time

If you want a really nice authentic pinsa, this is the place to go! The dough, the sauce and the toppings are just great. The pancetta was freshly cut and was insanly good! If you want the raw experience, the Margehrita with burrata is the way to go, every single ingredient has a very good quality!

It is the most surreal place I have ever been. We entered and they directly told us that they couldn't serve us, that they were already preparing the dough for dinner, so insisting, there were 5 of us and it was 2:30pm, in the end they told us to sit down. We were waiting 30' until they started to serve us. I have to say that they didn't have napkins and they gave us hand drying paper from the bathroom, they didn't have knives for everyone nor plates, so we ate with what they had. In short, it was an adventure that saved him because of how delicious the pinsas were, so in the end he even took a tip.

Definitely in my top 3 pizza places in Ams. Ingredients are fresh and the porchetta is prepared in house. The guys look a bit scary at first but they are in fact really nice and not in a fake way.

The only problem is that the place can get a bit too noisy. And that they have only few drinks. But who cares, the food is always amazing.

This is not fancy but the atmosphere is genuine and matches the simple and delicious food. I had the Pizza with mushrooms. It was incredibly delicious, delicate and bursting with flavor.

Food was phenomenal - I got the small porchetteria sandwich and the nduja pizza. Service was very quick and food came out fast. Would 100% go back for the sandwich. The pizza was great - crust and flavour was spot on, but I'd likely try another pizza next time instead of the nduja.

Major delay. Really odd messaging around something related to the issue. Then burnt pizza. Did we want a glass with our beer? It was an odd experience at best.

looks so unassuming from the outside but we came here upon recommendation from a local. and omg. it far exceeded our expectation. so good. they only serve pizzas but WOW they really really deliver.

Fantastic food here! Feels very authentic with only Italian food and beverage brands being offered. Prices are reasonable for the quality of food you are receiving.

Honestly one of the best places in Amsterdam to try real Italian food. The pinsa with porchetta was very tasty, even though there was not a lot of porchetta which left me (slightly) disappointed. The place is very characteristic, relatively small and crowded. So it really looks an Italian pizzeria which is great. Don’t go here if you expect to have a fancy experience, but also because this place is definitely not meant to be fancy. But if you wanna try delicious food then definitely have a try. The downside are prices which for the pinsa with tomato may be fair (14,5 euro) , but I think the pinsa with porchetta was a bit too much: 17 euro for a medium pinsa with porchetta, as you can see in the first picture.

This is hands-down the best pizza in town. I always go here with my Italian friend, as this is her favorite pizza place in Amsterdam.
