The food is just amazing! Place is really low key and informal, perfect for a night out with the boys, but also a great place for a date if you want to bring your girlfriend to try out the roman porchetta!

Definitely worth a visit. One of the greatest Pinsa I have ever had!

If you want a really nice authentic pinsa, this is the place to go! The dough, the sauce and the toppings are just great. The pancetta was freshly cut and was insanly good! If you want the raw experience, the Margehrita with burrata is the way to go, every single ingredient has a very good quality!

Oh my... Tastebuds in heaven! So delicious. Had the porchetta ripiena and the tiramisu. The dough on that ripiena was so good I considered being shameless and asking for the recipe 😅

If you're like me you're looking for friendly service, great prices and great food. This place has it all. Welcoming staff served me the best sandwich I have had in my life. No joke! Highly recommended. Will be my new go to for sandwiches. ❤️

It is the most surreal place I have ever been. We entered and they directly told us that they couldn't serve us, that they were already preparing the dough for dinner, so insisting, there were 5 of us and it was 2:30pm, in the end they told us to sit down. We were waiting 30' until they started to serve us. I have to say that they didn't have napkins and they gave us hand drying paper from the bathroom, they didn't have knives for everyone nor plates, so we ate with what they had. In short, it was an adventure that saved him because of how delicious the pinsas were, so in the end he even took a tip.

Definitely in my top 3 pizza places in Ams. Ingredients are fresh and the porchetta is prepared in house. The guys look a bit scary at first but they are in fact really nice and not in a fake way.

The only problem is that the place can get a bit too noisy. And that they have only few drinks. But who cares, the food is always amazing.

This is not fancy but the atmosphere is genuine and matches the simple and delicious food. I had the Pizza with mushrooms. It was incredibly delicious, delicate and bursting with flavor.

Food was phenomenal - I got the small porchetteria sandwich and the nduja pizza. Service was very quick and food came out fast. Would 100% go back for the sandwich. The pizza was great - crust and flavour was spot on, but I'd likely try another pizza next time instead of the nduja.

Major delay. Really odd messaging around something related to the issue. Then burnt pizza. Did we want a glass with our beer? It was an odd experience at best.

looks so unassuming from the outside but we came here upon recommendation from a local. and omg. it far exceeded our expectation. so good. they only serve pizzas but WOW they really really deliver.

Fantastic food here! Feels very authentic with only Italian food and beverage brands being offered. Prices are reasonable for the quality of food you are receiving.

Honestly one of the best places in Amsterdam to try real Italian food. The pinsa with porchetta was very tasty, even though there was not a lot of porchetta which left me (slightly) disappointed. The place is very characteristic, relatively small and crowded. So it really looks an Italian pizzeria which is great. Don’t go here if you expect to have a fancy experience, but also because this place is definitely not meant to be fancy. But if you wanna try delicious food then definitely have a try. The downside are prices which for the pinsa with tomato may be fair (14,5 euro) , but I think the pinsa with porchetta was a bit too much: 17 euro for a medium pinsa with porchetta, as you can see in the first picture.

Oh my goodness what and amazing experience! The food was authentic and delicious. The best pizza in Amsterdam in my opinion! We walked a long way a d waited for the restaurant to open. It was definitely worth it! The food is the best and the owner Bruno was friendly and funny. He let me watch them use the wood fire oven and see how they get the pizza in there without it falling apart or making a mess. We had the spicy Salami pizza, we got two because they are personal sized. The sauce was so bright and tasty! We also had the pinsa con Nutella and Tiramasu for dessert. Both were great options. But the pizza was the star! Oh and Bruno is a star in his own right! Fantastic experience! Highly recommend! Wish I could find pizza this good in the states!

Food was fine, service was rude, unattentive and worst than a kebab shop. The bill, came with 6 large , instead of 4 medium and 2 large porchetta. Beers ordered from Flink cause they were out of it, so we had to wait till the delivery came. Not so impressed, same level as any tourist place on Dam.

The food and pizza is great - no doubt about that. We had a table booked two weeks in a row at 6, as we had plans straight after and when we turned up, they weren’t ready for us. We went across the street for a beer, but then when we went back, still weren’t ready. They seemed totally indifferent to the fact that they weren’t ready to open for opening times. We asked for oil to dip the crusts in, were responded with water and were treated with an IDGAF attitude the whole time… will go back, but maybe much later at night.. or maybe not… they wouldn’t care anyway

The overall experience was somewhat mixed. The food itself was decent, though I felt the bread was a bit too thick for my taste. Unfortunately, the staff seemed quite indifferent and came across as unfriendly, which detracted from the dining experience.

Starters and pizza were super delicious! One of the best Italian pizza we had in Amsterdam. The waiter was a bit forgetful but honest and friendly, so we had no problems with that 😅

Food and service is good. The decor can be enhanced as the place itself looks a bit neglected. Even one of the leg of the banks was unstable and wobbling, we had to change tables.

I have a lot of things to say about this place. My partner and I are just utterly confused at how it has so many high reviews. We went here late February and I am only posting my review now because I was honestly worried about the owner clapping back at me and insulting me as they do this with most negative reviews. This unprofessional behaviour already tells you everything about this place. For context, my partner is 100% Italian and only recently moved here, and I have lived in Italy. So we know a thing or two about Italian food. The food in this place is ok. In our opinion, it is not good enough for us to be able to ignore everything else that is going on in this place. We had the homemade Porchetta and the Salame one. My partner LOVES Porchetta so he was super excited - only to be super disappointed by their Porchetta. It was simply not great in flavour to what we are used to from Italy. And yes we did consider that Dutch ingredients are different from Italian and we still remain our opinion. I also personally did not enjoy the tomato sauce, I thought it was bland and acidic. The Salame one tasted almost only like fennel, so the flavours did not feel balanced. Well, flavour is super subjective though so it could just not be for us. They have a short drinks menu, and we went early in the evening, and they didn’t have most of it. Apart from food and drinks, the atmosphere and service were also not optimal. We had a young server with glasses and he was just super inattentive, served me a glass bottle of water without a cup to drink out of, talked to us as if we were a bother, and he hand wrote our receipt. This led to us paying too much as well which we unfortunately only noticed when we were already in the metro (our bad too, I guess). The restaurant was not full, so I don’t see stress excusing that. The kitchen is open so you can see everything that is going on there. Honestly, I wish I had not been able to see it. The cook had flour all over his body, his pants were basically beneath his butt, and he kept pulling up his pants to cover his underwear. He did not wash his hands at any point. I have worked in the restaurant industry for many years, so I know health and safety standards and I have no clue how they pass any of it. There was a rat (not a mouse, which is common in Amsterdamer restaurants, but a RAT). The rat was walking on top of the oven and going on top of the utensils that were actively being used to insert and take out the food from the oven. At one point, the rat was so far down the front of the oven, that it was at head level with the worker taking care of the oven. No one noticed the rat. Please get a cat, like most Amsterdamer restaurants, or put up humane traps. I have seen reviews that lead me to believe that this is not the first time people have seen one. There was also a huge green bottle fly, which confused us as it was February and extremely cold outside. They hibernate in the winter, so anyone can make their own conclusion from that. The whole restaurant also just looks worn down. In general, I would not recommend this place at all. There are Italian restaurants in Amsterdam that are equally as good or better and have better service, hygiene, and atmosphere. The cheap prices are also not worth it for me. This is my partner’s and my experience and if the owner of Porchetteria decides to react to this negatively, then I am just going to already say that I will not be engaging with ridiculous accusations. We both have worked in the horeca and therefore know how hard the job is and how to be good guests. We caused no trouble in the restaurant and were respectful. Our experience was ours and there is nothing you can do to change what happened. Thank you.

Brought home 2 pizzas, margherita and the one with potato slices and porchetta. Put them under the grill and then feasted. I sware I was there in Italy as I ate. The cheapest and mosy authentic Italian experience I have ever had. Thanks guys

After a long trip we really needed a nice Roman place... the pizza was as good as in Rome, top service offered by Gianmarco and Emanuele. The next time I'm in Amsterdam I will definitely return.

Best Pizza I have had outside of Italy. Wood fired oven. Perfect. Edit: I keep coming back for the Crudo. The crust makes the difference. Crispy, soft, robust taste, slightly smoky.

Pizza is good, but we had to wait 1 hour for ours - other tables arrived later and got their order before us, etc. Service is unfriendly. There are better choices in Amsterdam.

Very loud and bad sounding boxes that played some kind of rap music. But that is personal preference. The fungi option was with fresh mushrooms but the tomato sauce was just passata from a carton with no spices or taste. The grilled pork was also a little bland but it was ok.

The pizzas are very good, the service leaves something to be desired.

Don’t get fooled by the looks of the place, because it is not exactly fancy dining. But what is served is delicious. The crispy dough, the porchetta, the cream. Mix this delicious food with an ice cold beer (or two) /or some red wine and for sure you will have a wonderful dinner.

The real Roman pinsa, family and unpretentious environment, fair price. Super recommended!

The food was delicious and the place had a great atmosphere with good music and easy-going nice staff (Giammarco who served us in particular aswell).

El lugar es muy sencillito, pero la comida está buenísima. El pan es de otro planeta. Totalmente recomendable. Los camareros súper majos. Se nos fue la luz y nos dieron facilidades de pago.

최고의 화덕피자집입니다. 마르게리띠 부라타치즈 피자를 먹었는데 인생 피자라고 느낄 맛이었습니다. 7분거리에서 포장해서 먹었는데 식은 피자가 이정도면 매장에서 먹는 맛은 상상이 안갑니다. 네덜란드 4일 여행중 최고의 맛인데 한판에 12유로라니 가격도 좋습니다. 양은 1.5인분 정도 되고 포장도 됩니다. 저는 피지만 포장하고 음료는 따로 호텔 근처에서 구매했습니다. 실내 분위기는 딱히 뭐 없고 서버가 약간 무뚝뚝한 경향이 있지만 전혀 문제가 안되는 맛입니다. 강력 추천드립니다!

The food is very good, but the service could be better. We had to wait for a very long time (45 minutes for 3 pizzas) and they did not come to us, we had to ask them to be able to order. They need more staff here for sure.

Have you ever thought about Roman Empire? Pinsa Bianca Ripiena here is a evidence that it was one of the greatest food empires ever created. Legit place, with great food. I wish I could work here and eat those things everyday 👌

This is such a home-y place!!! The owner & server were very nice, I was practicing my Italian with them. We ordered pinsa (sandwiches) & pizzas and the owner offer to recook the pizzas if we thought they have got a bit cold after we finished our sandwiches! The quality of the food is delicious & prices are very reasonable. Will definitely come back!!! Food is tasty even as leftovers :) The only criticism I have is that they run out of nutella and couldn't get a dessert... So I'll need to come back for it! Grazie mille e a presto!

The pork pinsa is so famous but it’s mostly fat. Pizza was good. I couldn’t take seriously the waiter who sometimes spoke Italian on purpose instead of English. We ordered some beers and he didn’t bring all of them, didn’t explain anything and the second time we asked for it he said he ran out of them (in Italian).

After sitting for 15 minutes and not getting the menu we decided to get up and leave. I understand it was busy, but it takes 20 seconds to bring a menu, especially after just confirming the name of the reserve, and in a place with 5 tables. The basics of hospitality, the food looked good by the way. I wanted to try it 😅🥲

Came on a Sunday and they only serve Pinsa (sandwiches), no pizza. That wasn’t an issue though because the sandwiches were delicious!!! Fresh, high quality ingredients and the perfect lunch. Two of us ate for €15 so the prices were nice. Staff was kind as well. Would recommend!

Sono stato ad Amsterdam, con mia moglie tra Natale e l'epifania, ero già stato in questo locale nel 2021, è sempre ottimo, pinsa morbida e ben condita, porchetta cotta alla perfezione, tutto veramente ottimo,il servizio, tutti ragazzi italiani, molto allegri e cordiali,compreso il proprietario, Bruno e il pizzaiolo Emanuele. locale sempre pieno obbligatorio prenotare altrimenti si resta fuori.
