Hidden gem 💎 Tucked away and easy to miss but DO NOT miss this place. Gorgeous atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food, what more could you want.

The only thing I regret about this place is discovering it on the last day of my vacation. It's a quiet, very welcoming spot with a spectacular breakfast served by incredibly polite and friendly staff. We had something simple: a latte and toast with jam. And what toast! Homemade sunflower seed bread with homemade strawberry jam. Plus, the price was ridiculously low (around €10 for two people), considering the quality and its central location. If you're in the area, you have to go. We went first thing Monday morning and didn't have to wait at all.

Lovely and unique breakfast spot. This is the first place that I see selling simple slices of bread with cheese, the most typical Dutch breakfast/lunch there is. But even though it was simple, the bread was super fresh and the cheese was delicious. I also highly recommend their apple pie. All baked goods seem to be freshly made in house! Interior of the place is very cute and the people working here are very friendly, you really feel at home! Overall, this is a very unique spot and I really recommend checking it out if you want to try true dutch breakfast!

Great little place full of trinkets and gadgets; everything is for sale. The food was super fresh, the coffee was delicious, and the juice was freshly squeezed. The staff cracked jokes and spoke with genuine interest.

A decidedly out-of-the-ordinary place, run by very kind and super cool girls. Vintage furnishings, unique items, and objects for sale. Highly recommended for a delightful break from the frenetic tourist scene of the city.

A very pleasant atmosphere in this little neighborhood café. The decor is vintage and eclectic. We had brunch there and everything was absolutely delicious: the homemade fruit juice, the eggs, the bacon, the homemade hummus, etc. I highly recommend it!

wonderful to do some people watching while drinking a coffee on the small bench outside . we had a fresh apple ginger carrot juice & a oat latte . , it was very real & well made . went there a couple of times during our stay, also no problem with a bigger suitcase . thanks so much !

I wasn’t sure whether to order a chai latte, but the staff mentioned they make their own chai so I gave it a go. It turned out to be the best chai latte I’ve ever had. Really lovely, kind service too. Will definitely go back if I’m around in Amsterdam again.

We were here twice in November 2024 and I have very fond memories. If we're ever in Amsterdam again, we'd love to come back. This café is simply authentic. It's also very small and cozy, which only adds to its charm. If you're looking for chain restaurants, this is definitely not the place for you. A must-try: Masala Chai Latte 😋

I have been going to this place for more than 15 years. It's a pretty lovely place where to grab small bite and or a drink. The decoration only worth the visit. It's quite small and can get noisy but definitely worth it.

I love this place so much, we went three times in our visit to Amsterdam because we coudn't have enough. The food is delicious, the place itself has so much character (I found it inspiring), the staff are friendly. I enjoyed drawing little bit of this quirky colorful Amsterdam jewel on my notebook and I will remember their aesthetics forever.

We went to this small cafe today. The ambiance is rather retro, but it creates a nice atmosphere. The service was very friendly, but we had to wait quite a while for the food (for what we ordered) and the conditions. My friend had a shorizo sandwich, which was a thick slice of grainy bread with shorizo and two slices of tomato on top. It was tasty, but we weren't expecting anything else from a sandwich. I had a slice of cheesecake, which was tasty, but very small for a price of over €6. The food was delicious, but much too expensive for the small portions.

I can't say enough good about this place! I ate there 2 or 3 times while in Amsterdam and everything is fresh. One the way in each morning they pick up their bread for the day fresh from a local bakery. They will even fresh squeeze a combination of quite a few fruits and veggies into a juice for you. It's a must visit if you are ever in Amsterdam!

A very cozy place where time stands still. The kitchen allows you to eat classics. It's a place where we eat and it's also a flea market where we can buy the objects around us.

The serving of mint tea was unpleasantly impressive. The taste of stems and sand at the bottom of the cup with hair is sad. The atmosphere is interesting, the food is delicious, the presentation is strange. Tables are sticky.

A case with 2 faces. When the owner is present there is a charged, hostile atmosphere. When he is away all the staff are friendly and very welcoming. It's even fun!

Nice little place on the Zeedijk. Upon arrival we were just able to get a table upstairs. It is a bit cramped, but cozy and the decoration makes the atmosphere very cozy. The goat cheese sandwich was very tasty and the olive oil paired perfectly. Good coffee and delicious, creamy brownie. The prices are perfectly fine for this location.

We left this place after 50 minutes of waiting. The waitress took our order after we sat there for about 20 minutes. But after 50 minutes, we didn’t get coffee or juice, and (you can see the kitchen) our order had not even started. We left the cafe since it was too slow. Don't get it wrong: the place is not bad, and they are simply bit it is unbearably slow.

Tómese un descanso del estándar y disfrute de una pieza de independencia sabrosa.

Mi marido y yo hemos comido felizmente en Latei al menos una docena de veces durante varios años de visitas a Amsterdam. Siempre es bueno, confiable, sabroso y saludable, excepto cuando recibimos una gran cucharada de crema batida fresca con su pastel de manzana. Grandes sopas y pan saludable denso. Es pequeña, estrecha y llena de cosas vintage y divertidas colgando por todas partes. Una verdadera joya en medio de una calle turística.

Nice place to see BUT... the staff ignores you upon entering. It was dirty too. The table was cleared for us with a dirty cloth, one lick went over the middle of it and food that had fallen on the chair seat was not cleaned. We left without ordering. If you are looking for a dirty place with rude staff, I can highly recommend Lintel.

Super nice tent, the only downside is that it looks like a sauna. No fresh air supply, very stuffy. Otherwise great.

Always get my coffee here, had some trouble because a few of the employees served me cow milk instead of oat-milk (a few times!) and when I said something one of them gave a stanky attitude and told me I had to double check it. So if you are vegan, please double check your order. BUT there is one girl on Sundays, lightskin and curly hair, she is the best. I walk in and she knows my order, she is also a true Barista because the ratio of her milk n coffee is just perfect. So she makes it worth 5 stars.

Desserts and drinks are very good. The place is very warm, the best for a cold winter day.
