I love this place so much, we went three times in our visit to Amsterdam because we coudn't have enough. The food is delicious, the place itself has so much character (I found it inspiring), the staff are friendly. I enjoyed drawing little bit of this quirky colorful Amsterdam jewel on my notebook and I will remember their aesthetics forever.

We went to this small cafe today. The ambiance is rather retro, but it creates a nice atmosphere. The service was very friendly, but we had to wait quite a while for the food (for what we ordered) and the conditions. My friend had a shorizo sandwich, which was a thick slice of grainy bread with shorizo and two slices of tomato on top. It was tasty, but we weren't expecting anything else from a sandwich. I had a slice of cheesecake, which was tasty, but very small for a price of over €6. The food was delicious, but much too expensive for the small portions.

I can't say enough good about this place! I ate there 2 or 3 times while in Amsterdam and everything is fresh. One the way in each morning they pick up their bread for the day fresh from a local bakery. They will even fresh squeeze a combination of quite a few fruits and veggies into a juice for you. It's a must visit if you are ever in Amsterdam!

Nice little place on the Zeedijk. Upon arrival we were just able to get a table upstairs. It is a bit cramped, but cozy and the decoration makes the atmosphere very cozy. The goat cheese sandwich was very tasty and the olive oil paired perfectly. Good coffee and delicious, creamy brownie. The prices are perfectly fine for this location.

We left this place after 50 minutes of waiting. The waitress took our order after we sat there for about 20 minutes. But after 50 minutes, we didn’t get coffee or juice, and (you can see the kitchen) our order had not even started. We left the cafe since it was too slow. Don't get it wrong: the place is not bad, and they are simply bit it is unbearably slow.

Mi marido y yo hemos comido felizmente en Latei al menos una docena de veces durante varios años de visitas a Amsterdam. Siempre es bueno, confiable, sabroso y saludable, excepto cuando recibimos una gran cucharada de crema batida fresca con su pastel de manzana. Grandes sopas y pan saludable denso. Es pequeña, estrecha y llena de cosas vintage y divertidas colgando por todas partes. Una verdadera joya en medio de una calle turística.

Nice place to see BUT... the staff ignores you upon entering. It was dirty too. The table was cleared for us with a dirty cloth, one lick went over the middle of it and food that had fallen on the chair seat was not cleaned. We left without ordering. If you are looking for a dirty place with rude staff, I can highly recommend Lintel.

Super nice tent, the only downside is that it looks like a sauna. No fresh air supply, very stuffy. Otherwise great.

Always get my coffee here, had some trouble because a few of the employees served me cow milk instead of oat-milk (a few times!) and when I said something one of them gave a stanky attitude and told me I had to double check it. So if you are vegan, please double check your order. BUT there is one girl on Sundays, lightskin and curly hair, she is the best. I walk in and she knows my order, she is also a true Barista because the ratio of her milk n coffee is just perfect. So she makes it worth 5 stars.

We have had breakfast here two days and we loved it! The croissant 🥐 was delicious and the cheese sandwich too! The coffees are very well made and the place is very curious and pleasant.

Latei is perfectly unperfect... All the decor is incredibly random and I like it. Coffee is great, Dutch farmer's cheese sandwich was great. If you're after a simple bite to eat and a nice drink I recommend this place.

Rendomly stumbled upon this cafe and it caught my attention by its interior. But i was blown away by the deserts, i took the bread pudding not knowing what to expect. It was crispy and soft in the middle with a generous amount of fruit in the middle. The pricing is also resonable. Love it

Met with a friend this morning at Cafe Latei in Zeedijk and had conversation and chai latte. The cafe had a great vibe outside was full but had cool air conditioning on. Was an all girl team working when I was there very charming , Friendly and approachable. I will definitely go back worth a visit if your visiting Zeedijk and the neighbourhood.

Great cafe on a busy shopping street in Amsterdam. The place itself is very cozy, with mismatched and old furniture. The staff is charming, we are very well received. The menu is great, I recommend their homemade apple ginger drink, it’s amazing. The pastries are also great and the apple pie is particularly tasty, we want to have another slice.

Went there for breakfast and fell in love. The ambience was unbelievable. It’s such a cute cafe. I ate fried eggs served with hartog bread with salami. It was pretty good. I also drank basil-lime lemonade. It was probably one of the best drinks I’ve ever tasted. If I ever come to Amsterdam again, I will definitely go to this cafe.

Das Croissant war wie eine Liebeserklärung an mich selbst. Alles war lecker und mit Liebe zubereitet. Ohne überflüssiges Chichi. Der Preis war super. Ein Frühstück mit Croissant, Käsebrot, frischem Orangensaft und cafe unter 12 €. Die liebevollen kleinen Details im Café lassen Erinnerungen an die Kindheit hochkommen und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Würde ich dort wohnen, wäre es wahrscheinlich mein Stammcafé... vergesst nicht ein Croissant zu bestellen!
