It was a place we had visited before. There’s a high chance you might have to wait in line at the door, as it gets quite crowded. The eggs are very delicious, and there are various options available. We tried the Greek Wedding and the Ruhasan with salmon and avocado. Both were very tasty. The prices are average. I definitely recommend giving it a try.

As a huge omelette fan, most of my omelette encounters have been at hotel breakfast buffets — decent, but nothing to write home about. So when I heard about Omelegg, a restaurant entirely dedicated to omelettes, my curiosity was instantly piqued. Let me just say… coming here was one of the best dining decisions I’ve ever made. I ordered the “Farm Boy”, and wow — it lives up to its name. Perfectly cooked, fluffy, and generously packed with all sorts of goodness — bacon, veggies, and more. The portion was massive, easily enough for two people. But since I arrived hungry and ready, I devoured the whole thing without hesitation. The place was fully packed when I arrived at 2.30pm, so I had to wait across the street on a tiny lane, surrounded by curious passers-by wondering why I was standing there. Thankfully, the wait was only about 20 minutes, and as soon as a table opened up, I was warmly welcomed inside. Omelegg serves omelettes all day from 7am-4pm Mon-Fri, and 8am-4pm Sat and Sun, so you can enjoy these incredible dishes from morning until mid-afternoon. I spent about half an hour here, and every minute was worth it. Omelegg isn’t just a place to eat — it’s a full experience. I’ll definitely be coming back on my next trip to Amsterdam.

The concept is simple, and that’s exactly why it works. Egg dishes in various combinations, customizable to individual taste. The pricing is fair, the food is freshly made and served quickly. The coffee wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but that didn’t take away from the overall experience. We went during the Sunday morning rush, so there was a short wait for a table, but it was worth it.

First of all, I would like to thank all the staffs for the customer service 🙂‍↕️ Our group have 5 persons so we add for an additional chair and the staffs did all their best to help us ^^ The eating is fantastic, I ordered “Farm Boy” and it tasted amazing, very cheesy and rich!!! Great eggs restaurant with a lot of variety. We ordered the greek wedding and it was fine and the salmon deluxe and it was delicious and the baked potatoes which was a bit tasteless. The service was quick and the line outside was packed but only took us 20 mins to get a table. The atmosphere is like your typical morning breakfast restaurants where it is fast paced and seated in tiny tables that are right next to each other where you can hear the fun conversations people are having.

Went in alone, the place was packed. Had to wait outside. When it was my turn to be seated, I was asked if I would share a table with other people. Otherwise I will have to wait more. So, I asked to take away.

I stumbled upon this place while looking for breakfast. They specialize in omelets with a variety of ingredients. It's fun to choose your favorite omelet and enjoy it. The seating is cramped, so you end up eating crowded together, but that's part of the fun. The staff are friendly and cheerful. There's a long line stretching through the narrow alley.

Frankly, as Turks, it's a taste we're used to. It wasn't bad at all, but if you're Turkish, there's no need to rush over here.

I really liked their service because as a foreign i notice some people don't speak to you properly but these people did, their food service was quick as well, the place is small but cozy so i recommend coming early because people keep coming and the line gets longer by time. As someone who doesn't eat pork or beef, the chicken options were decent, you can also customize what you want if you don't want the set.

We tried the Popeye and sausage omelets, both of which were delicious and filling! 🧀 The bread that came with them could have been warmed. ☕ We ordered black tea from the teapot, and with a 4-cup portion, it offers a great price advantage. We paid 30€ in total. We definitely recommend it to those planning breakfast in Amsterdam! ✨⠀

Absolutely amazing breakfast restaurant. The omelets and stuffed croissants are massive and so delicious. Get there early. We arrived at 8am and by 8:30 there was quite the line outside. I'd say the pricing is reasonable considering the portions. It's definitely a must while in Amsterdam.

Lovely place! The staff and service was super friendly. We got seated well, the food was EXCELLENT! There’s a line usually because it’s just so good but overall we loved this place. We were a big group of 6 of us, 2 hadn’t arrived yet but they seat only those available so keep that in mind and go together! All the omelettes were superb.

Really, really unique place, with great food! These guys clearly specialise in making absolutely perfect eggs! I’ve been here twice, and loved it both times! I got very lucky both times, judging by other reviews, which say that queue times are long, as I didn’t have any! The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is very cool! Highly recommend!

It's very normal since it's a safe option for something familiar, but the inconvenience and smell of the food stick to your clothes if you eat inside. Also, their coffee is good.

Most of the dishes are egg-based. My experience was with the mushroom and pesto stuffed eggs, which were very delicious. The butter and jam croissant was very good. The coffee and juice were excellent. However, the place and seating are very narrow and uncomfortable, and there is a lot of crowding and waiting.

It tastes better if you sprinkle pepper and salt on the bread and omelet. Carrot juice is delicious, so I had two glasses!! It's good for brunch. The right bread, the right vegetables, and the right omelet are all delicious.

This is a popular breakfast place that you must try. Food is super delicious. There is always a line of people waiting to be seated but the line moves fast. The place is charming but small.

I discovered this place by chance, initially drawn in by the impressive lunch queue. When I passed by again and noticed an available table, I seized the opportunity to order. The coffee was quite standard, but the food was fantastic.

Food was fine. Nothing special. You have to wait 5-10 minutes to be seated. Waiters seemed unwelcoming and wanted you out as soon as you sat down. Also to mention: the space is pretty small (which is nothing unusual for amsterdam) but you might even get sat down next to strangers if you don’t want to wait 10+ minutes.

An absolutely perfect start of your day. Might need to wait a bit if you arrive at peak times but it's definitely worth it. The menu is varied and exciting, the eggs are done to perfection. Service is fast and kind. We basically inhaled our food, so no pictures this time but definitely recommend!

The omlette was really filling and satisfying but i would prefer having more sides. Also the bread was not even heates and i found it to plain. Perhaps a sauce would be good. The atmosphere is also not that great cause it is very small and tables are next to each other. Overall it is okay but I won't come again. If you are huge fan of omelettes you will like it

I can say that it is my favorite place in Amsterdam for local, delicious tastes. Of course, some people may just pass it off as an omelet with various ingredients, but I think it has a different flavor. Especially Popeye and Greek Wedding were nice. You wait in a long line, but they let you in within 15-20 minutes. You finish it quickly and leave. You can have breakfast early in the morning without waiting. We paid 34 euros for our three-person breakfast.

There was no place to store my carrier, so I left it there and ate, but I was anxious and nervous. The interior and atmosphere are fun. There are a lot of things decorated here and there. There's something that says "week special," so I think it would be good to eat that. I had the farm boy, but it tasted like real pizza, and I was disappointed because I didn't get the feeling that they make omelettes well.
