The pancakes were delicious, but unfortunately there was some noisy drilling going on upstairs, hence the ambiance rating of 4 stars. The cappuccino was fantastic!!! Highly recommended!!

The food was absolutely delicious!! We had the vegetarian and the Pink Lady :) really very good and cool hip-hop vibes.

The interior had an American diner feel. The waitresses could have been more welcoming. But the food was very good and plentiful!

Very good experience! The atmosphere is really nice with great coffee and brunch. Really recommend for tourists before a day of visiting or for locals to begin the day as well. Big up to the booth tables, very enjoyable seating for brunch!

Honestly, this place was an incredible experience. The service and atmosphere was great with the store being very clean. The food was not only fresh and tasty it was plentiful. When we visit Amsterdam again (We are from the UK) we will definitely be back!

Fantastic pancakes and really pleasant atmosphere at Moak Pancakes in De Pijp. The entire place was run by just one girl who was doing everything—taking orders, making coffees, serving food, cleaning tables, and even switching the vinyls on the turntable. She was upfront right from the start about being on her own, which made the wait completely understandable, and throughout it all, she remained incredibly nice, warm, and helpful. We ordered the Wu-Tang and the Blueberry Deluxe pancakes, and both were absolutely delicious, as were the coffees. Huge props to the solo server for handling it all so well!

All day brunch place. Dishes of pancakes and toast with eggs on them are absolutely wonderful. I tried The Illmatic and the İnfamous. They were both perfect

One of the worst experiences ever had in this city. Terrible service with waiter not only getting the order incorrect 3 times but also had an attitude when we reminded her of missing and incorrect items. Upon asking for even sugar she brought them and tossed (threw) the sugar packets on the table. Service 0 out of 10. Food was terrible with 2 out of 4 people leaving their food on their plate and 2 of us sending the food back due to the food being cold. We ordered toasts and bread was old and stale, not toasted and all toppings cold. Eggs cold, bacon cold and hard, cheese was hard as if it came out of the fridge. Pancakes were small, cold, not tasty and dough mix not good at all. Can't believe they charge money for this. Coming from a top Google reviewer, stay away.

I was surprised that I could easily find a spot on a Sunday before 12. Service at first was a bit slow (think other colleague was on break) but food came pretty fast and was good. A surprise at the women’s toilet (only for females…:))

Unfortunately, unfortunately, this is one of those places that fell victim to skimpflation. I was a regular local customer a few years ago. Their pancakes and dishes were indeed really really tasty. Which led to being hyped. Which led to a brand people trust. I went back a few times over the last months, and these are NOT the same pancakes, 1000% not. They taste wholly different, cheap, prefab. 💔 Also: the components and ingredients of the different dishes, for example with avocado are simply low quality. The only thing I still liked is the maple syrup. Such a shame when a place does this. Bakers & Roasters is another one. Expensive, raving reviews (even newer): low quality.

Never coming back!! First of all: the waitress was rude, she didn’t talk, we ordered quite straight forward, the drinks came all wrong and not all at once, we had to change the drinks twice and ask for the right ones, the coffees came without sugar, once someone asked, she brought it and threw it at the table! About the food: this was the worst toast with scrambled eggs I’ve eaten, how can you mess up a toast with eggs!? The bread was not toasted, the eggs were swimming in oil, the bacon was extremely greasy, the food was cold! We returned it and when they brought it back, it was still cold. I tried eating it and my stomach started hurting. If you live in Amsterdam or are traveling- do not visit this place, even less for the price/quality!!

I have truly no idea how this restaurant has such high ratings. We got the Wu Tang. The pancakes are fine, the syrup tasted super fake and chemically, the caramelized onions were dry and not fully caramelized, and the cappuccino was made from a basic coffee machine and was not good. The bacon was as good and the eggs were fine. Truly just baffled at the high ratings.

This is the perfect spot for creative, fluffy pancakes. I love the music-centric vibe, and it's a relaxed place to enjoy a conversational breakfast with good company. I was feeling indulgent, so I went for the Golddigger and it did not disappoint. The scoop of ice cream is served on a thick slice of carmelized pineapple adding a pleasant brightness to the dish. Eating here is more than just pancakes. It's an experience. Walking out the door, I wished I could find a reason not to leave.

I wasn't sure if the pineapple juice was sweet enough, she brought me a sample. I really love the blend of japanese and hiphop touch.

Very cute place! Food was good, great servicing sizes, and was really tasty. I had the pink lady :) We walked up and only had to wait 10-15 mins. Wait for food was a little long but worthwhile! Decent vegetarian options. Some can be made vegan.

Super super super pancakes. They hit the spot. The bacon was cooked till perfection and it went perfectly with the salted butter and maple syrup. Also fantastic portion sizes even if you just get the eggs. Also if you follow their instagram page, they give you a free ginger shot which was much needed!

The food wasn’t very good, soggy pancakes and quite tasteless. They give out free stuff if you leave a review, which I suppose is why their rating is so much higher than the actual experience.

Even though there was only one girl taking orders, which slowed things down a bit, the pancakes were delicious and the watermelon mimosa was amazing. I would definitely go back.

The breakfasts are good, but the service is a bit slow for the three of us. They have a loyalty card that they stamp every time you go. I loved that they played live music with vinyl records. I think the price is a bit high for breakfast.

Visited looking at the reviews. Presentation 10/10 pancakes however were very disappointing. Tasted like raw Yorkshire puddings turns out all are a sugar free version. Maple syrup was watered down and just made the Pancakes soggy. Waitress was very tentative and helpful. Food was delivered super quickly.

The flava in the ear was to die for! I don't usually go for salmon in restaurants but I'm so glad I did. It worked so well together with the crème fraîche and avocado.

This pancake spot is great if you're really hungry. The dishes are served in generous portions, and the pancakes are richly topped with all kinds of toppings. The pancakes themselves are fine, but not amazing. The toppings make the dish. The hummus, in particular, is really tasty. However, a major downside for me is the coffee: every time I order it, it's sour, grainy, or otherwise not good. If you come on the weekend or in the afternoon, you should expect a wait.
