We came in the morning, and the place was empty, but there was heavy snowfall outside, which is very unusual for Amsterdam, so I think most people decided to stay at home. The food was tasty, and the coffee was good as well. Everything was prepared quickly, and the service was at a high level. If I’m in Amsterdam again, I’ll definitely stop by here next time.

So cool. Amazing menu and atmosphere

The atmosphere is nice but nothing exceptional. The food is good and the portions are generous, so it’s worth the price. There are no gluten-free options, and the waiter even makes fun of you if you ask, which is definitely a downside. We had to wait a bit to get in, but overall it’s acceptable.

The food is really good and generous. The music played is mainly hip-hop and rap, not my cup of tea but not displeasing either. Unfortunately, the staff wasn't really welcoming. Still managed to win a pigeon pin!

We went to Moak Pancakes for brunch and were pleasantly surprised. The food was truly excellent, as was the coffee. A special mention goes to Bismark, who served us in a charming, cheerful, and courteous manner. We'll be back. 10/10

Amazing, food is very tasty and generous

Absolutely delicious food, came in for breakfast. We had the eggs pan with tomato and feta, and then the sourdough toast topped with avocado, hummus and roasted peppers with a side of scrambled eggs. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the combos of flavours were amazing, I would have eaten it all over again. And really quick service too and really friendly staff. Warning for the ginger shot, it is great but very fiery, not for the faint hearted! The apple juice was also delicious. Price wise it was good value especially for Amsterdam, and given the quality of the food. There were some other places nearby that were more expensive and not as good so I would definitely recommend this place. If I stay nearby again I'll be in here every day!

Came here due to the hype from tiktok. My friends and I ordered the deluxe blueberry pancakes - they looked amazing and couldn't wait to dig in. Unfortunately the taste of the pancakes was nothing special and didn't enjoy the flavour of the blueberry jam. The pancakes didn't taste fresh and weren't as warm as I was expecting. This may seem harsh and I don't like to be negative but these were probably the worst pancakes I have ever eaten. If you write a review, they give a freebie so maybe that's why it has such great reviews? The staff were polite and it had a nice atmosphere with lovely decor.

We sat for 20mins with menus and no one came to take our order but decided to take orders from people who were sat after us. After calling one of the three people down we eventually had our order taken. Going on 40mins now still no food whilst people who ordered after us and came in after we’re getting there’s. We had been waiting whilst someone who ordered 15mins ago was getting their food. No apology no acknowledgement of the awful service and just felt forgotten. We ended up walking out before our drinks and food came as we’d been there nearly an hour with nothing. Avoid at all costs service is terrible

We recommend the Maple iced latte, which won us over. The food was good but a little bland. It's not a bad place, though. I recommend it if you like drinks. The 100% freshly squeezed juice is truly delicious.

This is my 4th time returning to MOAK in Pijp. I have to come here as many times as I can when I’m in Amsterdam because the food, the service, the vibes is just 10/10. Pancakes are very nice and fluffy! Today I got The Mancake for the first time and a Maple Latte. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Nice place for breakfast. The food came out very fast and was delicious enough. Pancakes were really fluffy went surprisingly well with The Tupac (aka basically shakshouka). No wait time on Monday morning, but I assume it’s busy on the weekends.

This place is a serious disappointment and we absolutely don’t get the hype 😅 Waiting in line is not a big deal but on top of that tasting the worst pancakes I’ve ever had is a shame. The pancakes are tasteless and not very fresh tbh. I do wonder if the person who’s making this has any idea about pancakes. Only in amsterdam will you pay 15+€ for a plate of wickedly cooked pancake with some poor banana and strawberry pieces. Seriously who’s contributing to restaurants like this???? 🤯

I came to this beautiful place for breakfast with my friend. We've been in Amsterdam for three days and wanted a slightly different breakfast. We stumbled upon it and couldn't have asked for anything better: the pancakes were excellent, the cappuccino was the same as the ones you'd find in Italy, and the watermelon juice was exceptional! Plus, I really appreciated the music they played to create atmosphere! Overall, we're very satisfied! :)

I ordered the sweet pancakes – just the plain ones. If you’re looking for filled pancakes with chocolate, you won’t find them here. The price is way too high for what you get; it’s worth maybe 7/20, definitely not 20.

We ordered “mancakes” and a pancake blueberry blueberries that has “deluxe” in its name. We shared both of the pancakes and both were excellent. “Mancakes” were our main dish for the brunch and had the other one as a dessert. But the thing that amazed us was the watermelon drink. It was literally like drinking a watermelon. If you are a fan of watermelon, you should try it. The service was also on point. They were fast to bring our food and more importantly everybody had a smile on their faces. And finally, the bathrooms… men’s room was super clean but the ladies room had a crazy toilet that has a seat heater, washer and a dryer.

wowowo this spot especially made me fall in love with Dutch brunch. Had the G Unit (savory) and the Infamous (sweet). Both were amazing!!! The smoked salmon on the G Unit was fresh, not salty, exceptional!! And the pancakes on the Infamous were easy to devour as the pancakes themself have no sugar (made with whole wheat flour) yet very fluffy. It really was an amazing dessert and overall fine meal. Not to mention the coffee I had was great as well - the Maple latte tasted great, good quality coffee and flavoring. Can you tell I am impressed? Definitely will be coming back to Moak on our next Amsterdam visit :-))

I had the pink lady (savoury pancake with salmon) and my boyfriend had the Tupac (eggs in a pan with some other ingredients). The pancake was not tasty at all, which was disappointing considering this is primarily a pancake spot) However, Tupac was pretty good! Service was also good and fast.

Really quick service with amazing food. Pancakes are really light and very moreish. The music and general gives are great. Would recommend.
