What a ridiculously expensive restaurant this has become. The two of us spent over €160 for three courses and three drinks each. It's truly ridiculous how dramatically the prices have gone up. And then getting cold spareribs is absolutely outrageous.

Great chef, very nice service. Always a pleasant place to be. I always feel welcome there.

The food is always delicious. I found the satay a bit lukewarm, which was a shame.

Pop venue (old Donkey) cramped, warm...very warm. Difficult to get to the tap when it's very busy. The sound is good.

This was a very nice experience with extremely friendly staff. I had a good look at the food and drink menu and tasted various delicacies. Everything was refined and recommended, deserves praise.

I ordered tea and croquettes on bread for lunch. You can choose from three flavors of tea, but regular English tea or Earl Grey wasn't included. The croquettes had clearly been deep-fried for too long, and they served them as long strips of bread. Very awkward to eat. The staff clearly prioritized conversation over attention to their guests. I wouldn't recommend it.

Separate menu with beautiful regional dishes, daring too. Pace between courses, despite being busy on Saturday, could be a little faster.

Nice atmosphere, great service. Food was a bit mixed- some of us loved it, others found it so-so. On the expensive side.

We enjoyed a cup of coffee with a group of eight people shortly after opening time. Upon entering we were warmly welcomed and tables were even pushed together for us. The service was very friendly. Highly recommended!

Good parking, nice evening out with friends. Nice girls who serve you, enthusiastic and neat. Good seats. Toilet neat. Really delicious food. Very tasteful. We found the dessert disappointing compared to the rest of the food. This also said. That we were disappointed. The chef had been trying something out and they were happy with the feedback. We felt taken very seriously and understood. We didn't have to pay for the desserts. So neat. We will definitely come back!

Highly recommended, with a very varied menu. Staff are very efficient and friendly. An asset to culinary Heemskerk. Last time we ate outside on the terrace. Now inside, very cozy with beautiful decorations on the walls. Also within a high degree of efficiency and good service. Will definitely come back here again. Went back for lunch, also an excellent choice of dishes. There are regularly other dishes on the menu.

Had a company party. How incredibly well done.. food more than good and super tasty.. and then the staff is super nice, great atmosphere and top food. What more could you wish for...

Grand Cafe with restaurant quality food and great ambiance. Super quick and friendly service, even though every table was filled. I'm happy we didn't order starters because the main course was more than enough. The sticky ribs were sticky, tender enough to fall off the bone and delicious. The cheesecake was fruity and paired nicely with the banana ice cream. We will return by bicycle soon to try out the cocktails. Thanks for the birthday candle and not having the music too loud. Edit: second visit just as good if not better. The wild boar was excellent.

Cozy Grand Café Modernly decorated and trendy, attractive and neat. Good service. A compliment is in order here is also well deserved. Was also the 4th visit.

We were a bit early so it was nice and quiet inside. Staff were friendly and the food was good. Highly recommended to eat here once.

Had drinks and eaten here several times with a group. The food is delicious, there is a cozy atmosphere, great service and reasonable prices.

Delicious food. Always a pleasure to come here, best quality, generous quantities and excellent service. I personally think paying separately for fries is special, but that may be the current times. Other than that, we would love to come back again.

The restaurant itself doesn't have many seats but is modernly furnished. It took a while until we were asked about the drinks. The staff always tried to communicate with us in English. The food was very tasty. Our recommendation: The spare ribs!

Finally had lunch because of the good stories, which was quite disappointing. Bread was tough and dish was really bland (steak sandwich). The vegetarian trio was also tough and nothing special. They were certainly luxurious ingredients, but that was all. More than expected and certainly not my first choice in Heemskerk.

Booked again a few weeks ago after a previous experience. I was still disappointed with the food. Little taste in the dishes. Prawns with garlic: I didn't taste any garlic at all...And it was served much too lukewarm. In addition, the menu has been the same for six months, so there is little variation. Too bad, because you are nice people and the welcome and service are excellent.

Had a nice meal with the family for a birthday, received the drinks quickly despite a large group and regularly asked if more could be added. The food also arrived promptly and no one was waiting. Food was delicious and full of flavor, lots of different choices and a very extensive menu. Not helped in a hurry even though we stayed seated for a long time and ultimately left completely satisfied ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We spontaneously dropped by for lunch last Saturday around 1:30 PM. Fortunately, there were still 3 free spots. After a friendly welcome, we sat down at a table for 2 people. The table was a bit in the middle, so the waitress came to us after our first drink to ask if we would like to sit elsewhere now that a spot by the window had become available. Very thoughtful and well thought out. We gratefully took advantage of her offer and felt a little more comfortable there, just the two of us. The menu is diverse and has something for everyone. The lunch was very tasty and beautifully presented. The bill includes delicious mini mints in a roll, with LAURENTZ's name on it. Very nice detail and thoughtful. Nice atmosphere, very friendly staff and you have a comfortable seat. It was also ideal in terms of temperature inside. It is not too busy or very large, but you can simply sit here in a beautiful monumental building. Definitely recommended and definitely worth repeating.

Laat je niet afschrikken door het enigszins ongezellige terras van dit restaurant. Binnen val je namelijk van de ene verbazing in de andere. Dit historische pand heeft al meerdere functies gehad de afgelopen eeuw en de huidige eigenaar is in staat gebleken om meerdere authentieke details van de verschillende functies te behouden/herstellen. Dit in combinatie met de moderne industriële inrichting maakt een bezoek aan Laurentz al meer dan waard. En dan hebben we het nog niet eens gehad over het eten! Hier kun je heerlijk lunchen en dineren tegen een schappelijke prijs. Of probeer 1 van de cocktails, die vakkundig en vers bereid worden! De bediening is jong, fris en erg vriendelijk. Ook voor een feestje kun je hier terecht. Regelmatig worden en speciale avonden georganiseerd. Het restaurant beschikt over een eigen podium ruimte, waarbij een duidelijke scheiding aangebracht kan worden tussen feestgangers en restaurant bezoekers. Een aanwinst voor Heemskerk in al zijn vormen.

Keuze in hoofdgerechten is beperkt,maar de kwaliteit is prima. Lekkere malse kogelbiefstuk en mooie moot kabeljauw. Frietjes lekker gebakken.

Echt zo onwijs lekker gegeten. Allemaal lekkere gerechten op de kaart, moeilijk om een keuze te maken. Alles heerlijk van smaak en gastvrije bediening.

Vandaag met vrienden wezen lunchen bij Laurentz, lekkere Italiaanse bol porkbeef of broodje zalm maar er zijn nog genoeg andere broodjes met lekkers te verkrijgen. Op het terras kan je als de zon schijnt onder een parasol lekker borrelen.

Alles hier is goed! Het eten, de bediening, de sfeer, de keuze op de menukaart, de stoelen... Zelfs de muziek is altijd goed bij Laurentz! Zowel lunch als diner onwijs gevarieerde kaart maar ook wat bekende klassiekers. Een echte aanrader.

We hadden hoge verwachtingen maar die werden ook allemaal waar gemaakt! Top gerechten voor een goede prijs. Bediening was alert, vriendelijk en zeer kundig. Beetje bang dat de akoestiek in zo'n hoog gebouw een nadeel zou zijn, maar dat viel juist 100% mee. Ik zou iedereen aanraden om hier eens langs te gaan.

Wij zijn niet wezen eten maar naar een popconcert geweest. Erg leuk, goede sfeer, zaal loopt ruim over in het bar gedeelte. Er worden verschillende evenement gehouden naast popconcerten zoals cabaret etc. Is erg modern maar heeft een warme en ongedwongen sfeer.

Leuk, gezellig restaurant met zeer goede bediening en niet te vergeten het eten was top. Kortom gewoon heen gaan.

Wat een fijn restaurant/Grand Café! Personeel erg vriendelijk en heeft op tijd in de gaten wanneer je glas (bijna) leeg is. Een verademing ten op zichte van sommige andere horeca! Hier snapt men hoe het hoort te zijn. Toevallig vingen we de uitleg op over de verschillende wijnen voor een tafel naast ons. Duidelijk verstand van zaken en liefde voor het vak. Eten ook prima in orde, dus we komen graag nog een keer terug.

Concert van trio C tot de derde. Erg leuk. Genoten. Volle bak.

Voor de 2de keer al heerlijk gegeten, bediening is top en kwam meerdere malen even kijken. Voor het eerst een gin en tonic geprobeerd wat niet mijn ding was en serveerster stònd erop het van mijn rekening te halen en iets anders te regelen! Komen zeker nog eens terug.

Super lekker eten! Glazen worden bij het begin netjes bijgehouden, daarna lang leeg. Enorm goede sfeer, mooi de keuken inkijken. Heerlijke smaak sensatie! Goede sfeer. Verrijking voor Heemskerk. Goede comfortabel stoelen om lang te tafelen. Tot snel
