Very friendly staff. Dogs are allowed in the front indoor area. Very cool atmosphere with lots of lemon decorations, fitting the name. The strawberry lemonade is delicious. The music selection is also very good.

Wheelchair friendly. Nice disabled toilet with grab bars and a low sink. You can easily roll under the tables inside. A bit more difficult outside.

The food took ages to arrive, even though the place wasn’t even half full. Once we got it they served the wrong dish to one and hadn’t noted as special request for another. On top of that the fish were not even fully cooked.

We ate here a while ago using a Social Deal. Upon arrival, we were immediately welcomed and shown to our table. There was a wide selection and tasty drinks were available as well. The staff is very customer-friendly, and there is a nice atmosphere among the staff themselves. The food was prepared quickly and the portions were large. It was very tasty, and I would definitely come back to eat here more often.

We chose this restaurant when we visited a colleague. It was a very warm day. The server chatted with us briefly and, because of the weather, added extra ice cubes to our drinks. Then we had a little time to think: The ambiance is fantastic. Very pleasant music, good sound, not at all oppressive. The decor is lovely, it really feels like a student town. We received excellent advice when ordering. The food arrived quickly and looked amazing. There was a minor mix-up, which was resolved immediately. I was very impressed with the food. Great service, great atmosphere, and overall a very pleasant experience!

What a fantastic experience at this place in Leeuwarden. We had a delicious meal here, and every single dish looked beautiful on the plate. The dessert, in particular, was a bullseye. The combination of the small glasses with fresh strawberries, the pastries, and the crispy bites was truly a feast for the eyes and the taste buds. Everything was perfect down to the last detail. We will certainly be back soon for more.

What if Fools Garden had opened a restaurant? We stumbled upon Lazy Lemon quite by chance during a day trip to Leeuwarden. The place is really cool and spacious. The service was super friendly and they spoke English without any problems. Our lunch was delicious – especially the sourdough bread.

Downright bad. Portions were very meager. A draft beer for 6.50 is simply theft. What shocked us even more were the mice running over the pipes and the ceiling. They will never see us here again. The mouse problem is acknowledged by the staff.

We had to wait more than an hour for the food. The menu, which cost €24 p.p., was not available for 5 people, only for 4 or 6, and was very meager for this number of people. We asked for sauces, but there weren't any, only mayonnaise... later it turned out there were, but by then we had finished. No drink or any compensation was offered. This is the second time we have been here and we always give everyone a chance, but once again it was a disappointment here; we will not be coming back.

We had dinner at Lazy Lemon. The food was well-seasoned and delicious. We ordered a sharing platter with various meats and side dishes. At €22 per person, the price was reasonable, and the drinks were also reasonably priced. The excellent, attentive service made for a pleasant evening. I can recommend Lazy Lemon. Based on the music and decor, it's probably more of a place for a younger crowd.

Went for drinks and snacks at Lazy Lemon with my group of girlfriends and book club. We were seated upstairs; initially, everything was fine. The food was OK, a bit cold, but we had a lot to discuss, so "well, let it go." By the time we wanted to pay, there was no waiter to be seen anywhere, so we walked downstairs with the whole group and indicated that we wanted to pay. We stood at the cash register and had to wait a very long time there as well. While paying, we noticed that the bill was a bit high, but it wasn't mentioned, and the person who settled the bill with us didn't mention anything either. When we checked the receipt later, we saw that it listed more than what we actually had. A message about this was sent via Instagram, and later also an email. The restaurant's response was: * If every guest disputes this via email or any other channel after paying (later), and I handle every request positively, there is no stopping it. Then the place might as well close down. During checkout, the guest checks the bill to see if it is correct, and after that moment, it is settled.* But dear Dirk-Jan, how often do you receive messages like ours? Because if this happens more often, I would really scratch my head and sit down with my staff. After all, if it happens so often, it surely doesn't come out of nowhere; most people aren't out to rip people off, and certainly not for such small amounts. In any case, you clearly need that 8 euros more than I/we do if you are making such a fuss about it, so just consider it an undeserved tip. And know that this isn't about 8 euros, but about the way paying customers are treated. I have no intention of recommending your business, following it, or coming back. And I am sharing my experience with the people I know, because as I said, I don't think you should treat your customers like that.

Ideal for dining with kids. Upstairs there is a nice play area for the children. Furthermore, the food tasted great, and we were allowed to order something from the lunch menu for the kids. Handy if they like pinsas.

I drank Italian coffee and it was 99% alcohol, I didn't like it at all. I usually enjoy it in other cafes, but this one was just plain alcohol, I didn't like it. But the atmosphere is very nice.

SUPER DEAL via Social Deal. Upon arrival, there is a welcome sign on the table with your first name. Had a delicious meal, large portions, surprisingly yummy, and very hospitable. Afterwards, a shot of limoncello on the house. The only warning: make sure you are either hungry or can control yourself. The portions are really big.

Nice place. However, if it’s busy, be prepared to wait. It takes a very long time for a waiter to notice your table and take your order. The “twaalf uurtje” easily turns into a “twee uurtje.” And when the food finally arrives, the orders can still get mixed up. A bit more room awareness would really help on busy days—simply keeping track of which guests arrived first and making sure they’re served in the right order. It’s a shame, because this is a place you might want to return to because you like it. But experiences like this can easily make you change your mind

This was the second time a friend and I dined here. The first time, everything was perfect: the atmosphere was good, the service was good, and the food was good. But the second time we went, it wasn't as good. The atmosphere and service were good, but the food wasn't good. The cutlery was dirty, and the pancakes were raw. We asked for them to be cooked a little longer, and they did so without a problem. But when they came back, they were still raw. Such a shame.

And I had the pleasure of meeting the owner of Lazy Lemon, because he was working alongside his staff (I love when they do that). He was so nice and heartwarming, how he talked about his business. We had a particularly unpleasant experience, even though we didn't even eat there. We were on a weekend getaway with family and had made reservations well in advance for Sunday lunch. With three small children, it seemed like a very nice and cozy place. On our way to Leeuwarden, my wife wanted to call to let them know we'd be about 10 to 15 minutes late. While experience has shown that this is usually appreciated (some would say unnecessary), the gentleman's response was very unfriendly and quite bizarre. According to him, it was indeed a problem that we would be late, because it meant they were losing revenue. We were told that reserved tables were prepared 30 minutes in advance and that they had had to turn people away because they were full. It became quite clear that he preferred to give the table to other customers and cancel our reservation. When we were asked, "What would you do in my situation?" we didn't feel like eating there anymore and told him he'd have to give our table to... Finally, he said we could try it on spec, but we decided to have lunch elsewhere. Suggestion: remove the option for reservations if it's so problematic if a group arrives a little later than originally planned.

So many delicious dishes to choose from. So far, nothing has disappointed. The atmosphere is also very pleasant.

We ate at Lazy Lemon for the first time, and the overall experience wasn't great. The bread on the bread board was still frozen inside, it took a very long time to get our food, and you have to plan ahead for drinks, otherwise you won't get your drinks until you've finished your food. We also found it very expensive. We don't mind paying good money for good food, but 7 or 8 euros for a bread board with one bun and 17 euros for a small burger was too much. The staff was very friendly, and we also liked the restaurant's decor.

Ik eet héél graag bij Lazy Lemon! Met het gezin, vriendinnen of alleen met m’n partner.. we genieten zo van de smaken.. Deze zijn eigen, authentiek en vooral heel lekker! Geen op papier bedachte combinaties, die net niet werken, maar hele smaakvolle gerechten waar we enorm van smullen! Ook de setting vinden we leuk. Ongedwongen en vriendelijk en minder chique/opgeprikt dan wel had gekund bij deze kwaliteit van eten. Wij eten graag groente/ vega, mijn partner ook wel vegan, en dat kan hier goed! We waren heel enthousiast over de geglaceerde aubergine van de vorige kaart. Hier kwamen we voor terug. Op de nieuwe kaart staat ook weer veel lekkers. Bv de rendang kroketten! We worden blij van de eigenheid van de gerechten. In andere restaurants vinden we de smaken vaak snel wat hetzelfde. Dat is hier niet het geval. De sfeer is ongedwongen, gezellig. Het personeel is vriendelijk, wil een praatje maken en herkende ons van ons vorige bezoek. We hebben ons nu maar even voorgesteld ;) Het is leuk dat er een bordje met je naam en ‘welkom’ op tafel staat als je binnenkomt. Wij voelen ons ook altijd welkom. Ik drink graag ginger ale, deze wordt standaard geserveerd met munt en een schijfje sinaasappel. Dat drinkt als een mocktail! Jumm! Als je van lekker eten houdt in een gezellige, informele setting en meer zoekt dan vlees, friet en sla zou ik hier eens gaan eten!
