Lazy Lemon in Binnenstad

It's a charming place, but our experience with the service wasn't the best due to the crowds during the Christmas season. The staff was friendly, though, and the snacks were delicious.

This was the second time a friend and I dined here. The first time, everything was perfect: the atmosphere was good, the service was good, and the food was good. But the second time we went, it wasn't as good. The atmosphere and service were good, but the food wasn't good. The cutlery was dirty, and the pancakes were raw. We asked for them to be cooked a little longer, and they did so without a problem. But when they came back, they were still raw. Such a shame.

Wonderful dinner with my son. We had the Meat lovers main meal to share. That came on a beautiful dish in the middle of the table and was a variety of delicious food. Plenty for the both of us. We had a beautiful sweet treat to finish. Really delicious! Wonderful staff. And I had the pleasure of meeting the owner of Lazy Lemon, because he was working alongside his staff (I love when they do that). He was so nice and heartwarming, how he talked about his business. Wonderful evening. Wonderful people. Delicious food 👍☺️

Nice location with good decoration, food was good, but we only had a snack. Service is not that good because of very long waiting time. We ha d to way very to long to even get the menu and drinks.

We had a particularly unpleasant experience, even though we didn't even eat there. We were on a weekend getaway with family and had made reservations well in advance for Sunday lunch. With three small children, it seemed like a very nice and cozy place. On our way to Leeuwarden, my wife wanted to call to let them know we'd be about 10 to 15 minutes late. While experience has shown that this is usually appreciated (some would say unnecessary), the gentleman's response was very unfriendly and quite bizarre. According to him, it was indeed a problem that we would be late, because it meant they were losing revenue. We were told that reserved tables were prepared 30 minutes in advance and that they had had to turn people away because they were full. It became quite clear that he preferred to give the table to other customers and cancel our reservation. When we were asked, "What would you do in my situation?" we didn't feel like eating there anymore and told him he'd have to give our table to... Finally, he said we could try it on spec, but we decided to have lunch elsewhere. Suggestion: remove the option for reservations if it's so problematic if a group arrives a little later than originally planned.

Nice place and staff. But the lemonade is not fresh at all and the "bread and more" plate was more like "bread and less". The rest of the food was delicious

So many delicious dishes to choose from. So far, nothing has disappointed. The atmosphere is also very pleasant.

We ate at Lazy Lemon for the first time, and the overall experience wasn't great. The bread on the bread board was still frozen inside, it took a very long time to get our food, and you have to plan ahead for drinks, otherwise you won't get your drinks until you've finished your food. We also found it very expensive. We don't mind paying good money for good food, but 7 or 8 euros for a bread board with one bun and 17 euros for a small burger was too much. The staff was very friendly, and we also liked the restaurant's decor.

We received a warm welcome and thoroughly enjoyed the homemade iced tea! A friendly waitress came to ask if everything was to our liking just as we were taking a new bite. The evening, of course, concluded with the delicious limoncello tiramisu.

10/5. What a fantastic restaurant! Superb food, great service, and a lovely atmosphere. I didn't know what to expect from the pork cheek, but it was a slice of heaven on earth. Incredibly tender and so delicious, and the combination with the sauce was also excellent.

We went here for the second time while visiting puppies in Leeuwarden. The first time, we found it through Google because we found the menu appealing, and the second time because we really enjoyed it. Delicious coffee, friendly and attentive staff, and a relaxed atmosphere. If it were closer, we'd come more often!

Ik eet héél graag bij Lazy Lemon! Met het gezin, vriendinnen of alleen met m’n partner.. we genieten zo van de smaken.. Deze zijn eigen, authentiek en vooral heel lekker! Geen op papier bedachte combinaties, die net niet werken, maar hele smaakvolle gerechten waar we enorm van smullen! Ook de setting vinden we leuk. Ongedwongen en vriendelijk en minder chique/opgeprikt dan wel had gekund bij deze kwaliteit van eten. Wij eten graag groente/ vega, mijn partner ook wel vegan, en dat kan hier goed! We waren heel enthousiast over de geglaceerde aubergine van de vorige kaart. Hier kwamen we voor terug. Op de nieuwe kaart staat ook weer veel lekkers. Bv de rendang kroketten! We worden blij van de eigenheid van de gerechten. In andere restaurants vinden we de smaken vaak snel wat hetzelfde. Dat is hier niet het geval. De sfeer is ongedwongen, gezellig. Het personeel is vriendelijk, wil een praatje maken en herkende ons van ons vorige bezoek. We hebben ons nu maar even voorgesteld ;) Het is leuk dat er een bordje met je naam en ‘welkom’ op tafel staat als je binnenkomt. Wij voelen ons ook altijd welkom. Ik drink graag ginger ale, deze wordt standaard geserveerd met munt en een schijfje sinaasappel. Dat drinkt als een mocktail! Jumm! Als je van lekker eten houdt in een gezellige, informele setting en meer zoekt dan vlees, friet en sla zou ik hier eens gaan eten!

We wilde het nog een tweede kans geven. Maar wat een zeper. Personeel laks en afstandelijk. Koude frieten!. Tournedos compleet verknoei op een bedje van koude puree. € 90 verder twee personen en een vieze smaak in de mond. Brrr!!!

We chose Shared Dining through a social deal. We were on vacation and spent a day in Leeuwarden, and ended up here. The food was truly delicious; everything was fresh and delicious! The waitress was very friendly, which made the experience even better. (I don't know her name, but thanks again.) A cozy restaurant and great staff!

We dined here with nine people for my 60th birthday. The atmosphere was fantastic, relaxed, and the decor was beautifully café-like, with lemon as the base. The host was fantastic; we had a three-course surprise menu with various choices for each course. It was delicious and beautifully presented. The pace was relaxed, which made for a wonderfully enjoyable evening. The menu included several inexpensive but definitely good cocktails. I was happy to tip, as the bill was surprisingly reasonable. Highly recommended!😋

Very cozy, atmospheric place to sit, and the staff are friendly, spontaneous, and welcoming. The service is quick and they regularly ask if you'd like another drink and if everything is to your liking.

My daughter celebrated her birthday here, and sweet as she is, she took us out for dinner. Because I have an onion allergy, we called ahead to ask what we could do, and that was no problem. So I ordered the tenderloin steaks with creamy pepper sauce. When it was served, it wasn't pepper sauce, but a different sauce. So I asked what kind of sauce this was. Her answer: "The pepper sauce contains onions, hence this sauce (it's strange to order without consulting you, isn't it?), so I asked again, "What kind of sauce is this?" Her answer was: just eat it. It's a delicious sauce without onions." I got irritated, but I kept it together and said I really wanted to know what I was having. She finally went to ask the chef, and it turned out to be a port sauce. It was sweet of my daughter to eat there, but I'll never go back. The staff were completely incompetent and made me feel like an inconvenience because I have an allergy.

We had the burger and everything was dry and bland. The service were good and the place had a cool atmosphere.

Go eat here!! This restaurant knows how to give that little bit extra that makes me happy as a customer. Upon arrival at the table a welcome sign with your name on it how nice! The service excellent. Friendly and sincere interest in you as a customer. The food was perfect, delicious salmon fillet with side dish. Flavors were fine. We were quite full and the dessert had yet to come. The cocktails delicious and affordable. We were offered limoncello on the house but we couldn't eat it anymore. In short, a very successful evening for which we will definitely come back from Haarlem!

Ate a three course meal at Lazy Lemon. The food was delicious, imaginatively prepared and with good ingredients. A delicious Buratta with grapefruit, well-prepared cod fillet on the skin and a grand desert with 6 different flavors. Nice that you can also ask for a bottle of tap water. The atmosphere is informal and the service very friendly and knowledgeable (also about ingredients). The only downside on this busy Saturday evening was that we sometimes had to wait a long time because there was a bit too little service staff. But that can happen these days, otherwise really recommended.

Very nicely decorated restaurant. Ate with friends (6) and opted for shared dining. The coconut curry soup was delicious. Tried to get a prescription but no luck. Everything was tasty and presented with care. Cheerful, service-oriented staff who enjoy working.

We honestly don't understand the high rating and the full restaurant. The concept sounds nice, but our lunch was really substandard. We had to wait quite a while, but hey, it was busy. Then the food came! The Benny Boy was really a mockery in terms of layout, cheap white roll, some brown vegetables on one side, the other side was empty and in a bowl of bright yellow scrumbled egg. I seriously thought they were joking for a moment. The avo treasure was not as much of a treasure as promised on the menu: soggy and you had to look hard for the avocado. The taste continued, but it did not score higher than a six. Our son had the best choice: spelled bread with croquette. But yes, if that is your favorite of these 3 lunch dishes... It's a real shame, we think it's great fun to try different lunch places, but unfortunately I won't recommend this one. A nice play corner for the kids and nice Frisian toilet signs!

This could definitely be better. Firstly my daughter got her pancakes, I got my sandwich 5 -10 minutes later and my wife forgot to pass them on. So start with 3 people separately....and that for lunch. My wife's sandwich was put together quickly because they were already late and mine was stone cold. Years ago I would have said, we'll give it another try, but with these prices these days I want a nice meal out without any annoyance. So no repetition, there are better eateries around it.

Reserved via Social Deal. Upon arrival, my wife and I already had some stomach aches. Still started with the starter. Unfortunately, the stomach ache got worse and when the main course was served we asked if we could take the food home. This was no problem at all. Later we had a great meal at home! We had opted for a 3-course dinner, but next time, despite the marginal price difference, we will go for the 2-course. 3 courses is quite a lot of food and we can't finish it, even without a stomach ache. Great service, great prices and a decent amount of food. The restaurant is also quite spacious.

We were here for lunch on Sunday. Upon entering we were immediately helped to a table. Someone was soon there to help us with the drinks. The smoothies were great! Then ordered lunch and all 3 sandwiches were on the table after ± 10 minutes. The food was very tasty and the best sandwiches we have eaten in a long time. Too bad it's so far away for us, certainly a great tent!

Good food and a nice tent. There was a very welcoming waiter who seemed to serve the entire restaurant (waitresses were not taking orders or chatting at the bar). He did a great job, but you did have to wait a while to order a drink, for example (+-25 minutes after arrival)
