Le Petit Coq in Museumkwartier

Delicious tender chicken, and a nice range. Takeaway only, but a nice concept!

We ordered almost €70 worth of food for three people. Three different types of chicken; the coq au vin, the chicken in beer and the piri piri. The coq au vin was okay, but very saltless. The chicken in beer had a strange taste, as if the chicken was no longer good. The piri piri was an embarrassment. The tomato sauce tasted like canned tomatoes and reminded me of the cheap macaroni with red sauce and smac that you used to make at the campsite on a one-burner gas burner. The sweet potato puree was very tasty, but very little. In addition, the chicken is stated to be served with bread, but we received three pieces in total. It was very tasty bread. I wasn't planning on posting a review until we tasted the desserts. We ordered the panna cotta and the tiramisu. I don't even know what to compare the panna cotta to. The custard was soft and wet and I think what was on top looked most like Jell-O that had been chopped into chunks (?). Furthermore, it had no taste. The tiramisu was really not tasty either; very wet and tasteless. The plus point is that everything was in paper containers, nothing was wrapped in plastic. I think it is unlikely that I will order from here again and given the other reviews here, I think the restaurant should take another look at its recipes. Very unfortunate, because I was really looking forward to ordering good stewed chicken. I will make it myself again from now on.

This really wasn't good. Small portions, little taste and 1 small piece of bread per person? The dessert was also extremely wet and inedible. Definitely cannot recommend ordering here. Not worth the money.

Ordered via Uber Eats. The quality of the food was absolutely horrendous - badly and stale tasting, the consistency seemed like that of a cheap tin, the desserts were a bad joke (watery tiramisu, curled panacotta). What an embarrassment

Really the best chicken stue ever eaten, only the sweet potato puree is out of date and you can no longer serve it (sour).

Just did an order from this place. The chicken tasted awful, it must have been old because it was completely uneatable. Very bad.
