a comforting smashed burger overall, but quite greasy which might make it hard to finish sometimes. fries are great and go so well with the sauces. for sure a place to try out but finding a place to sit and eat is difficult sometimes

The Classic fries were delicious. You don't have to wait long. You order from the screen and they call you according to your queue number. Half of the fries were very good, the other half were very stale; we couldn't eat the ones at the bottom because they were stale.

I ordered a hamburger, fries, and a coke for almost 30 euros. So expensive 😡 even though the hamburger wasn't even big or special. The fries were cold upon delivery. This was the first and last time. Worthless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Burgers are good, sometimes bit saucy, fries are usually bit cold and dont feel fresh but edible. Tables are dirty but I still like this place.🫂🤓

It's a small shop. The hamburgers are delicious. We ate the Le Smash Special. But the fries weren't very good.

I had imagined something different based on YouTube videos and such. But it just tastes like a slightly better cheeseburger from another big franchise.

The burger is really good! It's worth it. You order at a self-service kiosk and then your order number is called. The day we went, there was a slightly strange smell. If the burger wasn't wrapped, maybe it would look a little better. Even so, it's very tasty.

Delicious, but there's something strange about it. You can't taste the meat while you're eating it! To the point where you start to doubt it's vegetarian.

We spontaneously thought we'd treat ourselves to a burger at Le Smash (which had been on our list for a while). When we walked in, it wasn't a hello, but rather, "Could you park your bike a little less rudely?" I'd give him a pass if he had a point, but we'd deliberately parked it on the curb so everyone could still get by. So we left, so the atmosphere was so sour!

I don't know what happened here. This used to be the best burger place in Amsterdam in my opinion, after trying and ranking 55 of them. But now it's not only less good, but not good at all. They changed the sauce I think, it's sickly sweet (like way too sweet), the bun wasn't toasted at all, the meat wasn't crispy.... And the cheese fries were terrible. Dense and not very crispy. And we got a thick cookie which was served cold. It would have been so easy to improve that one with a quick stint in the oven. Every aspect of the food was underwhelming. I am not sure if the original owners cashed out after the hype or what but this place is just riding Instagram hype at this point unfortunately. Super disappointed to lose a favorite place

An incredible smash burger. I've eaten them all over the world, but this one is unmatched. Super average price, youthful yet professional atmosphere. I can't help but give it 5 stars. Fantastic in every way. I recommend anyone in the area to try it.

Smash burgers are life….when done well. I’ve been to this location a few times- perhaps them opening a few locations they lost focus on quality. Absolutely gross burger just filled with onion and ketchup. Can’t even taste the actual burger meat 🤢

While the prices are quite reasonable, I found the quality didn't quite match my expectations. The burger was acceptable, though nothing special. Unfortunately, the fries were particularly disappointing. They rank among the least enjoyable I've had during my 3 years here. Given the overall experience, I'm not sure the value justifies even the modest price point.

Le Smash got a crazy PR game because the reviews do not match my (and others) experience. Granted, the service is great and fast but the food leaves a lot to be desired. Upon arrival it's busy and bustling. Often a good sign but when you see the wanna be influencers, you know you fell for a TikTok trap. I asked my friends to review it with me and they simply said and I quote: "Le Mid.". Ordering is really easy and convenient with the self service panel or the cashier. They got a few options with different kinds of fries as well. I went with the classic version (forgot the name) and cheesy fries. The fries were alright, not too much flavour on it and the only gripe I have with cheesy fries is that it's more often than not cheddar and not a real cheese sauce. The burger itself was alright but had no flavour as well. The sauce was the component that I remember the most. Having tried smash burgers at different places, from restaurants to hole in the walls and street vendors, this was sadly a bit disappointing. The service and staff is great tho, they are professional and have a nice energy going. The space isn't that big but has enough spaces. Due to the popularity you might have to wait a bit for a chance to sit down. To summarize, the service is great but the food is mid, 3 ⭐. (I can't find my photo's of the place sadly.)

I'm a Smash fan, I know it well. Having made it at home several times and tried it in several restaurants, I'm a pretty sharp knife! Serving a Smash in cold bread is obviously not great... there's more sauce than meat... the cheese fries lack salt, and it's not melted cheese, but cheddar sauce. This restaurant has room for improvement; the meat wasn't bad, and neither were the sauces. They just need to improve.

Everything was perfect except for the stuffy atmosphere! Order was delivered quickly. The classic hamburger with ketchup wasn't my cup of tea, but the special version was very good. The fries were also excellent; it's definitely a quality smash burger. I recommend it.

Had never heard of Le Smash, it was wifey that said she'd heard of it and wanted to try it. We stumbled on this one as we walked from the local market and whilst I was a little skeptical I have to say I was really glad we stopped. Didn't expect to see a kiosk ordering system but it was easy to use and the prices were pretty average. Watching the team working away at preparing the food was actually quite cool, a wee production line and very well organised. The service was really good too, didn't wait too long and the guys were very friendly. As for the burgers and fries we ordered, can't fault it. Burger was delicious and the fries with the sauce was equally good. Hot sauce was also spot on. As I said, I've never heard of the place so I had no expectations going in. I've read a few folks reviews that weren't so good, personally speaking I loved it. Well worth a try

The burger is fine, but the chopped onions and sour ketchup somewhat ruin the quality and balance of flavor. If you don't offer caramelized onions and good sous vide, please don't put herring, chopped onions, or cheap ketchup in your burger.

The bun itself looked like it had come straight out of the refrigerator, and the burger was covered in ketchup. There was also far too little salt. All I could taste was ketchup.

I've been to this place before and liked it, but I definitely won't be coming back! The workers decided to jump on the table (where the burger is being assembled) and sit there. Moreover, they started throwing cheese and trying to get it right on the patties. Who would even think that it would be okay to do this in a restaurant kitchen? Regardless of the level of service

The menu doesn’t have a huge variety, but that’s actually a good thing – the smash burgers are excellent because of it. Everything about them just works perfectly. The fries are decent too.

I wanted to give it 5 stars, but after a few months I returned and noticed from the taste that the meat was no longer dry-aged; in fact, it's no longer listed on the menu. It's a shame because that was its real strength.

Imagine this: you just paid €50 for a burger, there's barely any room, so you're sitting on a stool facing the sneaker wall. Behind you, a staff member is shouting orders. You finally finish your burger, nearly throwing up, and then you hear a song blaring from the speakers that sounds like you're in an airplane about to take off and explode. All in all, a very stressful and overstimulating experience. I won't be coming back.

Well, it's better than McDonald's, but with only one dish on the menu, I expected more, especially with 4.4 stars. Very salty and fatty, the bacon was hard and chewy, and had very little flavor. The potato bun was fine. I was thirsty for three hours after this burger. There are better smash burgers in Amsterdam. Maybe their vegetarian option is better.

Since we were in Amsterdam, we wanted to try the famous Le Smash Burger, which had been on my list for a while. Given the place’s popularity, I expected it to be more crowded and that we’d have to wait a long time, but the atmosphere was more relaxed than I thought 👍🏼 When you walk in, you place your order at a screen and then wait. The staff are really fast, and luckily, even though the place is small, we found a table and our order arrived within 10–15 minutes. We went for the classic option, and it was honestly excellent, we really liked it. It reminded us of the true hamburger taste from our childhood 😍 Considering the taste, I also think the price is very reasonable. Definitely a burger I’d want to eat again! 🍔

Tasty burgers and having just 2 options means the quality will always be the same and service fast. Also price is quite good. Just wish the sauces were not so expensive and they had more seating space.

Their burger was really good! Sitting tables were not comfortable and definitely not a cozy space! Staff were nice and friendly! I definitely recommend their food :) Maybe you can take the food away and sit in a park nearby or something like that!
