Smash burger as Amsterdam really good and valid, price in line with the city

This is my second time trying their smash (the first time was in Maastricht) and it's just as I remembered it; I'm not a big fan of burgers, but this one is absolutely delicious, and their special sauce is exceptional!

Eat the Legendary Special ones.

The sauce is dominant, the meat is juicy and not dry, and the bread is delicious.

I went there based on online reviews, but honestly, the food wasn't anything special. I don't think you should definitely go there.

Mc Donald’s is more delicious. Bread is mediocre. We could not taste the meat bc of sauces. Onions not caremelized

Simply the best burger in Amsterdam! The place is narrow, but if u are hungry, it’s not a problem.

The burger was okay, but it didn’t quite come together for me. The meat lacked flavor, the cheese wasn’t fully melted, and the onions and other toppings felt separate from the patty rather than blending into a cohesive bite.there’s definitely room for improvement.

You place your order on a terminal from the small and focused menu. Then the staff calls your number and you get your tray. Quite efficient. The burger was good, perhaps a bit overwhelmed by the sauce. The fries were also good, but not smashing. The drink I got was at the perfect temperature. The only problem I have with the place is the atmosphere, in particular the sound level. The cooking noises, the loud radio, the echoing environment all make it hard to eat and hold a conversation inside.

The burger was very slimy and very overpriced, what a shame!

To be honest, I remember eating much better burgers in my life. However, the service, warm smiles, and sincerity of the two young waiters were absolutely wonderful. The cheesy fries are incredibly good and high quality. I highly recommend them!

I’ve ordered a classic smash burger, it wasn’t bad but too much sauce(ketchup and mustard) in it. The level that makes you taste the sauce more than the patty. The patty also have no salt or any other spices. Service and atmosphere was good, i will recommend it if they improve the food quality a little bit. Small details matters :)

Nice concept but after a few bites of le classic burger, I only tasted buns, grease and sauces since they were more overpowering. Also fries were a third of regular fries so they were too small and unpleasant :(

I love it here. Anytime I'm craving a well made burger and fries I pop over. Staff are really nice as well, usually i have my dog and they always offer a bowl of water.

The burgers were really delicious. The general atmosphere of the place is cozy and casual, but it gets crowded in the evening, and many people had to wait in line depending on the hour. The burgers are delicious, the chicken pieces are average, but the service is very slow and the chairs are uncomfortable.

We ordered 1 classic burger, 1 special burger, 1 beef bacon special burger, 1 cola, and 1 Fuse Tea Peach, and it cost 44 euros. Worth every penny. We loved it! The huge hamburger patty was overflowing with toppings inside the warm bun; I had to pull the bottom of the burger over to take a picture because I ate that part 😅😂

Disappointing experience. The bun felt stale, it was nearly possible to notice the meet. I felt mostly grease and sauce. Fries were short looking like some leftovers. Overall this place was on my list for a very long time but proved to be way below expectations. The staff was nice. Interior was modern but heartless. Eat and leave asap.

They close 20 mins early. Employee will come and yell at you “We’re closed” in a rude and aggressive manner. Avoid at all costs, this place sucks.

De Pjip is a great burger option; we ordered the classic burger and the croquette option, which was only available on the digital menu when ordering. The burgers are very good and well-served. The service was fast, but the customer service was indifferent. The place is simple, without any decoration, but it's worth a visit.

Unfortunately, this place is quite overhyped. €12 for just a burger is a lot of money. I love a smash burger, and when you order the classic burger, it definitely looks the part. But once you bite into it, it’s quite disappointing. Depending on what time the day you order, the bread is slightly stale and not as fluffy as it needs to be. The sauce is quite overpowering, especially because the beef doesn’t have much flavour at all. On the surface, it’s the perfect perfectly put together a Smashburger, but it disappoints on the individual ingredients.

The staff who took our order were friendly, and the restaurant had a cool and inviting atmosphere. We discovered this restaurant through a recommendation on TikTok. Unfortunately, the food was a major disappointment. The burger felt like it was made up of 50% sauce. Any attempt to remove the excess sauce from the bun was pointless, as the buns were completely soaked in it. The fries were also disappointing. They tasted as if they had been deep-fried several times, leaving them overly greasy and unpleasant to eat. Unfortunately, the food did not justify the hype we had seen online.

An average grilled cheese sandwich with white bread and ketchup has more flavor than this. What a ridiculous hype. Bizarre, the Le Classic and the Le Special, fries and sauce. Nothing was worth the price. Price-quality ratio is out of balance. Thanks for the heartburn, I'm going to take an Rennie now to put out this nonsense. My opinion.

I got the Classic burger which was a great burger. Good flavours, and a good amount of food. Be prepared that eating it is a bit drippy so you’ll need napkins. The service was kind of what you expect from a fast food place - quick and efficient but not like what you get from a sit down restaurant. We arrived at a fairly busy period and it was pretty loud and a little chaotic. But it got quieter after 25 mins and was actually pretty nice. If you want a good burger and want it fast then this is a good spot.

I got Le Special smash burger which was really good—would recommend you try it for sure! I didn’t wait long for it but everything is self-service so not much interaction with the staff. The interior design is cool but it is very loud with all the metal trays/frying. Overall a great spot, but don’t come here expecting a tranquil atmosphere.

Huge fan of this burger joint. Tasty burgers and friendly staff. Reason for the 2 stars?: Recently, you start getting a new type of bag if you decide to take your food away. The downside is that these aren't carrier bags anymore!!?!? How am I supposed to get home with my food on my bike now? Please switch back to more practical bags!!!

If you are in Amsterdam, you really have to visit leSmash. The burgers are insanely delicious – perfectly smashed and crispy, super juicy, and a true 10 out of 10 in terms of taste. The fries and sauces are top-notch too. The team is incredibly friendly, good-humored, and the service is super fast. An absolute must-visit for every burger fan!

Two years ago, it was great. Unfortunately, I see that the quality of the food is getting worse and worse as they get bigger.

Had a horrible experience here. I ordered a “no meat” burger and when I received it they even put a sticker on it indicating that it was meatless. However, my boyfriend realised that they had mixed up our burgers. So they gave me the meat burger. When we told them they weren’t even the slightest bit apologetic. Afterwards I felt so sick since it was my first time eating meat in 8 YEARS! Definitely won’t be coming back…

When this place opened it was delicious. Quality has gone completely down. Very sad as this was my local spot. Go to buns up the street.

I tried two different burgers from them and they tasted good, but you can find many places that make burgers of this quality.

The Classic fries were delicious. You don't have to wait long. You order from the screen and they call you according to your queue number. Half of the fries were very good, the other half were very stale; we couldn't eat the ones at the bottom because they were stale.

The burger is really good! It's worth it. You order at a self-service kiosk and then your order number is called. The day we went, there was a slightly strange smell. If the burger wasn't wrapped, maybe it would look a little better. Even so, it's very tasty.

Delicious, but there's something strange about it. You can't taste the meat while you're eating it! To the point where you start to doubt it's vegetarian.

We spontaneously thought we'd treat ourselves to a burger at Le Smash (which had been on our list for a while). When we walked in, it wasn't a hello, but rather, "Could you park your bike a little less rudely?" I'd give him a pass if he had a point, but we'd deliberately parked it on the curb so everyone could still get by. So we left, so the atmosphere was so sour!

I don't know what happened here. This used to be the best burger place in Amsterdam in my opinion, after trying and ranking 55 of them. But now it's not only less good, but not good at all. They changed the sauce I think, it's sickly sweet (like way too sweet), the bun wasn't toasted at all, the meat wasn't crispy.... And the cheese fries were terrible. Dense and not very crispy. And we got a thick cookie which was served cold. It would have been so easy to improve that one with a quick stint in the oven. Every aspect of the food was underwhelming. I am not sure if the original owners cashed out after the hype or what but this place is just riding Instagram hype at this point unfortunately. Super disappointed to lose a favorite place
