We had a delicious Ti-Pan and the selection is huge. Highly recommended for Ti-Pan lovers.

Mediocre service. The starter was bad (soggy and bland), but the satay and babi pangang were very tasty. They forgot to include the nasi/rice.

The food was good and very fast. The list of dishes is really huge, actually too much to choose from.

Classic Chinese takeaway with friendly service.

In this restaurant they will add meals to your order that you didn't ask for and will add at least 10 euros to your total order. When asked about it they will get defensive and threaten you. Always check your invoice! We went yesterday to this restaurant. We were 13 adults and 10 kids. When we asked for the invoice and checked our order there were two meals we didn't order. Also when we did the sum for everything in our order there was a disparity of at least 10 euros. When we asked about this to the people in charge they got very defensive, angry and threaten us with adding at least 50 euros more to our order (which I personally find absurd). The food was fine. So if you are up for a math challenge or want to hear unreasonable threats go here. Otherwise, I am sure there are better options.

Went here as a big group. 23 people. Food: Okay-ish. Typical Chinese style of cooking. Customer service: At first it was okay, they were accommodating. Drinks and food orders were served quickly. However, some orders were served double (of course we needed to pay those, but it’s fine) and some orders arrived exactly different from what’s on the menu (i.e. Chicken in curry sauce served without chicken, stir fry sweet and sour chicken served as fried chicken wrapped in dough with sweet and sour sauce on the side) And upon payment, we realized that there’s about €10+ difference from the total of what we ordered compared to the one on the receipt. We tried to figure out but we cannot seem to find what is that difference for. We approached them with a friendly tone that it seems like there was a bit of difference from the bill compared from what we ordered and even told them beforehand that we will still pay for it but we just want to know… but the guy at the kassa (seems to be drunk around that time, he smells like alcohol) got upset right away and he even screamed at us and told us with an angry tone that he can recalculate but if he is right and we are wrong we need to pay him €50. What kind of customer service was that?! In the end we figured out that the prices on their menu that they gave us is outdated compared to the price they have in the system. A few cents came out to be €10+ difference since we are a big group. Go here if you like Chinese food, and especially if you like calculating if you are paying for the right price of the items you ordered. 😅

Had a fun day with friends, but it ended on a disappointing note because of our experience at this restaurant. When we split our bill, we noticed there was an unexplained charge that none of us could account for. On top of that, the receipt included (1) a doubled item delivered which we didnt order, (2) a mislabeled dish, and we eventually realized that (3) a chicken dish had been served as the vegetarian version instead. We carefully went through the receipt three times, line by line, matching each item to each person, but the total still didn't make sense. Since we couldn't resolve it at the time, we paid the full amount anyway, including the unexplained discrepancy, deciding to let it go as an extra "tip" on top of the issues mentioned above. Before leaving, we politely mentioned to the staff that there was an unaccounted amount on the bill. We also made it clear that it wasn't a problem and that we would pay the full amount anyway. Instead of helping us understand the discrepancy, the owner responded by saying that if they recalculated the bill and we turned out to be wrong, we would have to pay an additional €50. That response felt unnecessarily hostile and intimidating, especially since we were simply asking for clarification. Whether the mistake was ours or the restaurant's, good customer service means addressing customers' concerns with professionalism and respect. A simple review of the bill would have been appreciated. Threatening customers with an additional €50 charge for asking a reasonable question is not an appropriate way to handle the situation. Mistakes on bills can happen, and we understand that. What disappointed us most was how our concern was handled. We expected a willingness to review the receipt with us, not to be met with threats over a reasonable question. Unfortunately, because of this experience, we don't feel comfortable returning or recommending this restaurant.

As a Chinese person myself I was surprised to stumble across this place in Wassenar that serves such authentic and quality Chinese food. The food was delicious, service was great and price was very reasonable. The restaurant was also exceptionally clean. We would definitely come again. Surprised this place wasn’t busier to be honest. We are staying in Duinrell and it gave us a lovely break from all the pancakes, pizzas and burgers. Highly recommend.

Service was poor but the food excellent and big helping. As there is only one waitress she coped very well with all the tables served. The interior is dark and dingy and could do with an upgrade.

Little taste, almost no tofu in the vegetarian dish. Very disappointing.Tjap Tjoy vegetarian only carrot, almost no mushrooms, lots of carrot and lots of cucumber. that's no longer tjap tjoy. Nasi with chicken fillet was so tasteless.

After a day at Duinrell, we had dinner at Legend. Authentic Chinese restaurant with even the red carpet! You don't often come across something like that anymore. Delicious food, even my nephew who is extremely picky gave the food a 9 :) Lots of dishes, including mixed Cantonese food, my favorite. Hostess also very hospitable. Would we ever be in Wassenaar again? We will definitely eat here again.

The soups are great. But the meal went like this. Very adapted to Europe. Nothing spicy... And little garlic. The meat is very soft. For me it had snack quality.

Been coming here for years. Always good and always welcome. The service is always friendly. This trip was also great. The two of us went there spontaneously and were able to sit down. The more often you come, the better the staff knows you and therefore also what you eat😅. My daughter has been getting a lollipop for years. A lollipop for the little one is often mentioned. Only the little girl is now a big lady of 21🤣.

Mediocre cuisine, really an old-fashioned Chinese restaurant from the past with accompanying dishes. No exciting dishes, but if you go for noodles, nasi, babi pangang and well-cooked satay, you're in the right place here.

Always nice people and good food for years, but unfortunately this time it was really bad. The babi pangang bacon was mostly pieces of fat and only a few small pieces were better. The gado gado was also not what we are used to. Hopefully it will be fine next time (this was reported to them)... this was more than made up for when we returned 2 weeks later! Fantastic!

One arrived we were sat quickly and offered drinks within a few minutes. However the staff then seemed more interested in taking orders from the takeaway guests whilst eating in members were left waiting for around 15 minutes for our orders to be taken. However, food was promptly served once order taken. My partner didn't get any meat in her meal despite ordering beef. They apologised and charged her for vegetarian option which was about 1 euro less... Not really a proportional refund. We ordered a small portion for our son which was 2/3rds the price of a adult portion. We ordered with noodles... When the bill came they explained the small portions do not come with noodles as standard and the noodles was changed extra. We were effectively charged the same price for a small portion as a full portion... Despite this, I did enjoy my food despite the slow and poor service. A little pricey for a typical Chinese.

Standard Dutch Chinese Asian restaurant with a similar menu. Staff is friendly, but not very sharp, you may call them slow (in an empty restaurant). In my case it resulted in ordering a round less. And it is annoying that people that entered later got their food first... I ended up in finishing only one dish in one hour and 15 minutes. Food is served in the traditional Dutch Chinese way. The white rice is of average quality, what is better than in most similar places. My vegetable dish with chicken had a lot of nice chicken filled up with cheap vegetables (for example cucumber). The jasmine tea is from a bag, they have more flavors in a similar dutch tea selection. The place is very clean. Parking is not difficult. Prices are very competitive, the value for money is very good.

This is a restaurant where you can enjoy excellent food. A combination of highly qualified Asian cuisine and old-fashioned Chinese. All that at a very reasonable price.

Delicious and affordable food, served by very friendly service. There were four of us here and everyone was full of praise for the food and the hostess. Parking here in the evening is not difficult and free.

Not enough staff and served two other groups that came in after us before us (we had to call them over where we got bored of waiting). Food was not great and only had a miniscule amount of meat compared to the veg. I would not eat here again.

Food was tasty! But you pay dearly for a portion that is so small. Inside was dark So no atmosphere I ordered tjap tjoy, very little You could count everything. Very little meat and with that I ordered tjap tjoy Legend with all the trimmings. Nothing noticed For the children fries with satay You could count the fries without sauce. 2nd fries came with half a chicken. I don't know what they mean about half a chicken. But it could also be counted. Very dry and also without sauce. When I ask about sauce, the waitress just brings a dollop of mayo and ketjup in a bowl. You could just eat fries with it. Asked 2nd time. Another employee brings both together in the same bowl Even worse. I saw the lady shaking the mayo bottle to pump it out Pathetic. Highly recommended. I then ordered a small spring roll. Half roasted and fried banana. Bahh So not recommended for me Not a good experience for us. Never order fries from a Chinese person Preferably at a recognized fries restaurant

Takeaway was disappointing and inedible. Satay was just thick peanutbutter gloom over chewy chicken, no veg although advertised it would have some. Lemon chicken was overcooked chewy chicken with watery lemon water. I hope we were the unlucky few but won't be trying this restaurant again.

My go to place for yummy Chinese food. It's been here longer than I exist and still amazing. Would recommend the duck or cha siew dishes. Family restaurant with lots of menu options. Take out is possible as well.

Food very tasty. Menu in Dutch and English. Nice large round tables, the main menu was already brought out while the starter soup was being served. Unfortunately one dish was wrong, but after a short discussion it was quickly replaced and everything was ok. All dishes were served on plates, so there was no crowding on the table. At the end a candy box was served. All in all, very tasty, friendly and recommended. Gladly again.

We discovered this place whilst staying in holiday at Duinrell. It's only about 10 mins walk from the park. The food was beautiful! The service was excellent. I'd highly recommend!
