A really nice eatery. We spent a weekend at Duinrell with the family. We went to Broeders on Sunday. The food was fine, the staff friendly, and the service was good too; all in all, a good restaurant and definitely recommended if you are spending a weekend at Duinrell.

What a wonderful afternoon I had here. The food was of excellent quality and the presentation was truly well-cared for. The pastry with the Maison Kelder logo on it, in particular, was a feast for the eyes and tasted exquisite. Everything was perfect down to the last detail. I will certainly be back here soon for a repeat visit.

The menu lists grilled chicken, but it is simply fried in a pan.

Always a pleasant terrace and a lot of interest. Efficient and accurate service. Plenty of room for children, as there is always a lot of activity.

A nice and apparently very popular spot for lunch with a typical Dutch menu. We didn't think the tomato soup was the best, but we enjoyed the rest of the food. All in all, a pleasant experience.

We had a delicious meal; everything was actually very good, from the moment we walked in without a reservation and immediately got a spot, to the friendly staff, delicious onion soup, and a tasty steak with fresh vegetables underneath—a lovely place to eat!

Looking for a nice little restaurant in Wassenaar after leaving Duinrell. Ended up at this restaurant by chance. What luck! The service is superb, the food fantastic, and the price very reasonable! Highly recommended 😀

The coffee is delicious, as is the apple pie. Now with the nice weather, it is lovely to sit outside and people-watch. The service is perfect.

For my favorite lunch menu item, Fried egg with bacon and cheese on bread, I ended up at this cozy restaurant in the shopping district. The staff was friendly and helpful. I parked my car in a nearby parking garage.

Beautiful terrace, delicious cocktails and bites

A lovely place with a varied and appealing lunch menu. The service was quick and very friendly. We had delicious satay with wedges for lunch, but oh my, what terrible acoustics. The place was packed, which should be a very pleasant atmosphere. However, you could literally hear what was being said and discussed three tables away. The guests weren't being particularly loud, but somehow all the conversations echoed through the room without any muffler. That was a shame, otherwise it's a lovely place!

Cozy place, good atmosphere, unfortunately, the large group next to us had a dog with us that barked non-stop and was also running around freely. The staff should intervene. The onion soup was mediocre, not the classic onion soup, full of flavor and finished off under the grill with bread and cheese. But thin soup with long strands of onion rings and brown bread with melted cheese on the side. A shame.

Nice terrace and also indoors. It's right in the center of Wassenaar. We were there today and ordered Irish coffee. Whipped cream had to be refilled, but the coffee was sitting on the bar the whole time, so it wasn't very warm anymore. It's a shame.

Possibly the tastiest lunch I've had this year! Stopped in here on a whim and was glad we did, everyone had an excellent meal.

Nice and cozy place in the center of Wassaar. Friendly and cooperative staff, the terrace was still under construction when I was there. Lots of competition around this opportunity. Beer and wine selection is sufficient and service completely fine. I think the food could get a little more attention. The 'bites' I had: Nachos with cheese from the oven and the 3 dips were delicious, but without (red) onion, jelapeños and/or minced meat. That makes 'the taste experience' slightly different. It was just delicious and everything was used up ;) and a place to keep an eye on where growth is certainly still possible!

Just as it should be: a steak - customized as you want it to be - served with fresh baked fries. We loved it! You can always rely on the good taste of it.

Broeders is a lovely spot, especially when the sun is shining! The atmosphere is relaxed, perfect to sit and enjoy. The service is fast and friendly, which makes it complete. Definitely recommended for a nice stop in the sun!

Lunch with 2 slices of gluten-free bread and tuna salad. It was served as 2 separate slices of bread, a scoop of tuna salad and a bit of salad. The taste was good, but the portion of tuna salad was very modest.

Always super friendly staff, good food and good beers. Atmosphere is always pleasant.

We just had a delicious meal at Broeders with our family, in a cozy living room atmosphere, where we received a very friendly welcome, if we are in the area we will definitely come back

Enjoyed a well-organized lunch on a very rainy autumn day in December. Fortunately, they had rich seasonal soups with garnishes and delicious coffees with pastries from Maison Kelder to recover from the stormy weather. The staff were polite and friendly, fast delivery to the table and there was plenty of seating inside during our visit.

If it's already full at 12:30 on a Sunday afternoon, it must be good!

Ordered eggs on toast with cheese and ham, but the cheese and ham was cold, so not at least passed through the griddle to heat them up. I found that weird.

The menu offers sufficient choice, even for vegetarians. The wine is good, unfortunately the food was less so. The chicken with the pasta was dry and the venison steak could have been better.

Went here today the food was amazing the actual restaurant is a lovely place to be ...one of the staff was quite rude or didn't really seem to be approachable...but she seemed to send a different lady who was lovely and made the rest of the meal very enjoyable Would highly recommend the goats cheese salad from the lunch menu and the syrah rosé wine

Went there on our bikes at lunchtime. Small cute shop, with nice staff and good food. Food came quickly and correctly. Food was delicious! The Kip Sartee has a BBQ peanut sauce which was very interesting. Only recommended. Prices a little higher than average but justified.

August 13, 2024 ate at Broeders. My wife had salmon with fries, my son had kids burger with fries and a portion of grilled vegetables and I had goat's cheese salad. The food was good. The service was great. The atmosphere inside could be better. We could smell the smoke from outside even though we were inside. Unfortunately, Broeders does not have a smoke-free terrace and that is a missed opportunity.

Great visit and dinner at broders, food was amazing, steak cooked perfectly, and very tasty. Although I wouldn’t recommend the jack daniels sauce.. Chicken satay and carbonara also nice. We didn’t stay for dessert as lots of more interesting places in this town for that. Also liked that tap water was free.. Menu was in Dutch but employees offered to translate and all spoke fluent English - but the menu is easy to understand if your not dumb. Toilet facilities could be improved

This catering location is located at a pleasant point in Wassenaar. What I liked most is the food itself. The dishes are incredibly tasty and certainly not sparse. It was a lunch I won't soon forget. Fried chicken breast sandwich is highly recommended!

In a nice, cozy place in Wassenaar. Friendly people, good food and drinks. O.a. excellent chardonnay! We really enjoy coming there, it really feels like a living room. Enjoy the terrace in the summer. The kitchen is going to be renovated, so we'll have to wait until February to enjoy it again. Good luck with the renovation and good luck for the future.

Had a delicious lunch. We sat upstairs for the first time and even though it was packed downstairs, we didn't have to wait long for service. Not even for a second drink. The salads were great, the sandwich was generously topped. Top service.

Today we sat down for lunch at 'Broeders'. Heart of Wassenaar. Nice relaxation with a cozy no-nonsense interior. A simple and clear lunch menu. The ordered arrived quickly and tasted great. You can sit here with peace of mind.

Personally I didn't like it. The service wasn't interested. The menu was poor. Not for me.

What a great place and service! Since we had 2 ladies visiting from Amsterdam and they had never been to Wassenaar, we ended up here after a short tour. My partner had reserved a place in advance and that was arranged very well. Even though it was very busy, there were enthusiastic people in the service who made us feel completely at ease and with a lot of humor. We enjoyed the service but also the dishes. All in all a very positive experience.

Apparently many regulars come here. Staff seems to know almost everyone. Then you, as a guest from elsewhere, know that you are in the right place. Delicious lunch, club sandwich and brie sandwich. Served quickly despite being busy.
