Leon in Schiphol

I have no idea how this place is allowed to do business in the airport. The staff were incompetent, extremely slow and inefficient, and most of the ingredients were unavailable. The funniest thing was the items I ordered were not available so I had to change it for something and even though the order was $3 cheaper they did not offer me a refund until I asked. Crazy.

Chicken in the rice bowl was so tough and dry, almost inedible. Not recommended.

Premade Food this fit for those who catch the plan and filling hunggry

Stuff was clearly borhered with my presence. Annoyed with my questions about the comopition of their food (besides not really knowing what is in it). Chicken burger looked like it has spend in the wrapping half an hour or more - all saggy and crumbled. Not great taste. Hard chicken. Random dressings. Better go to Burger King. Luckily I skipped the experience of dining in.

Had fries here, at least that's what they call them at Leon's... Really not good, just nasty stuff for a price of €4.50. Not recommended!

Ordered the Korean chicken wrap. The food is not made fresh so they sit under a heating panel and all of lettuce becomes wilted. The first wrap I got I took back because it was extremely wilted. I asked for a fresh one and this is what I got (pictured). However the staff were really nice about it

Terrible service, understaffed and most menu options not available

The product actually was cold, and had no connection to the descibed bbq. It was very much tasteless. It was misleading from them to call it bbq and showing hams in it, though it contained chicken. Unfortunately it was disappointing to face with the cold uncooked chicken breast in the so called sandwich. I sadly experienced the uglyness, and the dirt everywhere around the place. If it would be an option I would give minus ratings. Fingers crossing to avoid being a victim of their possible food poisionnes.

Removing chairs half and hour before closing. People in line get to order and find nowhere to sit. Lots of grumpy customers and staff seemed to be fed up with it. Tiny burger, ok taste, fried ok. Good Korean dip and aioli. Lion lemonade was very nice .

My fave place to eat in Schiphol. While others are overfilled, this place is quiter and more aside from busy traffic areas. The food is divine. A lot of people who write bad food reviews are just grease addicts. The food here is tasty, very close to homemade. And as a Ukrainian I know organic when I taste one! If you want a less grease, lower calories tasty meal - this is the place for you. I wish I had Leon oppened in my town - I would positively ditch other brands and eat here. I've visited it a couple of times and both times the service was good and I had no complaints whatsoever.

Just got back from vacation and was craving coffee. It's in a good, central location at Schiphol Plaza.

It used to be a great place for healthy food. Beautifully presented and delicious. Now it's almost a cold meal, maybe two. But utterly disappointing. A bit of rice, a bit of chicken, and a few stray seeds. Very expensive and definitely not the quality it once was. The staff looks completely disinterested and, in my opinion, wants to get rid of you as quickly as possible. You feel completely unappreciated.

I came here to order breakfast and was very disappointed. The staff member was extremely slow, and while I was waiting in line, the people behind me had their order taken first. This felt unfair and unpleasant. Very bad experience, I don’t want to come back here again.

Snacks are available at the airport; their fruit juices are simply delicious and fresh. The service, however, isn't very friendly and is rather cold, even unpleasant. You can always rest and have a drink!

Great food and service! Staff was really nice and now somehow Hairytwinkle is in the Netherlands? Nahhh but what really surprises me is how there’s no lava in the NETHERlands.

The portions are on the small side, but the food is absolutely delicious and filling. It's better than what I expect at an airport. They have nice booth seats which help dampen the noise a bit.

Great rice boxes and friendly staff. Not very cheap but it is an airport.

Food is tasty, personeel is communicative. Many of gluten free options, some vegan options too.

Shame on you, I understand the confusion at the airport but something like this is not acceptable, I took the chicken sandwich, 2 slices of bread badly cooked among other things, with a piece of chicken thrown in, no salad no condiments. Potatoes old races of 1 day. There are no cutlery, glasses or napkins, if you ask they look at you as if you came from the moon. At the cashier staff poorly prepared and in panic, they stopped the line every 2 minutes so as not to have too many orders to manage. Terrible food, terrible environment, terrible staff.

Nice friendly and quick service, perfectly decent food which tasted good. Two wraps and two drinks, for 20 euros. Not bad for airport prices!

Thanks to gluten-free products, my wife can also eat here. Unfortunately the nuggets were very old, cold and hard. Friendly service. Bizarre: a deposit is collected on PET bottles, but you don't get it back if the bottle is returned. When asked “why do you charge a deposit if you don’t return it?” The answer is “that’s just the way it is”. Well

Fine, and very important to me: they understand strict gluten-free here. Eaten without any problems with celiac disease.

Everything is seriously slow. Ordering takes time, waiting for the food takes long its a confusing and stupid system. This isn’t like Leon in the UK

Got a food poisoning from a chicken dish.

Hallumi wrap was tasty. Chicken to stay away. Extremely big difference in portion size and fries were dry and cold. After commenting about this, I shrugged my shoulders and said it was just 1 piece.

Super slow, calling it fast food is a joke

Waited a long time, they have no overview here at all and clearly cannot handle the number of orders. Slow working people. Had a rice box with chili chicken. I only received a bowl of undercooked rice with dirty chicken, with a completely different sauce than ordered. Straight into the trash, it amazes me that this company is allowed to exist. This is really a waste of money

I like the vegan falafel rice box for $9.99 euros. Great flavor and taste. The portions are a little bit small. I didn't try anything else. They are usually very busy, but the service is fast.

I love Leon in England so I expected good food and service. Instead I got one barely grilled and lukewarm muffin after a 30 mins wait.

4.50 for black coffee, not from an espresso machine but a coffee machine hahha. Go to the AH (for 1 euro with the bonus card almost the same quality) or STACH 4.5 for cappuccino from an espresso machine. I don't know whether to laugh or cry

Leon has really gone downhill. You used to get a good portion of healthy food, now you get maybe 200grams of not much for €9

Bad coffee, warm and cup was barely half full. Trays and everything about the place is mediocre to bad in quality, but whatever you order is served in a manner of minutes, in exchange for a lower quality experience.

There are multiple mice in the restaurant, avoid

The attitude of the waiter was very, very bad, as if he was sent to forced labor reform.

Slow and do not understand the explanations. Bad service and slowness. Don't come here, there are many other cheaper food places.

Terrible service. Very little professionalism, they did not have the products they sold and if you pay in cash, wait 10 minutes for them to give you the change. Expensive for what it is.

If you want to have a laugh and throw your money away, definitely do it! Please note: they charge a dessert, which is more expensive than you ask. My hot drink was cold and they couldn’t find a lid for the porridge to take it with me. I was carrying a suitcase so I couldn’t take it with me open. Then I asked for my money back so I waited for the manager that never came to see me. So I left my food and drink there, I’m never coming back. Most ridiculous ‘service’ I’ve ever seen!

Very dirty, tables sticky and to many people not eating but sitting down charging there phones.

Definitely avoid going there! The service is horrendous. The cashiers got our order wrong, one of the waitress was openly rude to us, and it took ages for our order to come so we ended up eating cold food.

Waited 15 min for coffee and 30min for two muffins

Definitely avoid this place. The food is not good. The chicken is dry and has little flavor and the portions are small and sparse. The staff is sluggish. He wanders behind the counters. Orders have errors or omissions. Our order was not even recorded and we waited more than 20 minutes only to be disappointed.

Fine for drinks and pastries. Hot food is really not fast. Expect to wait at least 15 minutes

Unbelievable and slow working staff. I waited 15 min for two cappuccinos which was even not hot. 3 staff and one lady was only looking an d checking at receipts. One guy was making the coffee and so slow. The girl at the cashier was also slow and not really interested. There were so many people waiting for food and coffee. They couldn’t handle their job. And expensive. Better go to the AH across for machine coffee . Or nicer people at Starbucks.

Almost half an hour to get a cappuccino and a latte. They were just walking around and talking while 4 people were waiting. Don’t come if you are in a rush.

At least there is one at the airport. We were very happy then. Very good alternative. The service was good. The food seemed and good but felt better in London. Prices for airport OK.

"Naturally fast food" stares me in the face whilst I have been waiting 15 minutes for my breakfast.

I went to have a quick breakfast at 11:00 am and everything was sold out. NOT A SINGLE THING. And the service was nice. I went back for a matcha and it was quite good, I asked them to take the Vanilla and they did. The place is well located in the airport and has different sitting options as well as CHARGING THE PHONE. BUT DONT EXPECT TO EAT ANYTHING

No good, no good. Poor quality, dry chicken aioli and bearly warm. Chicken nuggets solid but fried in smelly oil. I do not recommend.

Black bean box was OK but the portions are very small for the price of a main course. The staff seem like they want to quit any day and are very unfriendly. Tables are dirty and nobody seems to want to clean. Clearly understaffed and overworked people.

Leon was my go to place for breakfast every time I was departing from Schiphol. Now I wonder… what did you do to your menu!? Only 2 sandwiches and 3 porridges available, that’s it, no burgers, no boxes, no wraps. Less tends to be more, but the best menu items are now missing.

なんでこんなに評価が低いのか理解できません。スパイシーなチキンのrice bowlを食べましたがとてもおいしかったです。味もチキンも美味しいです。米は硬めですがそういうものだと受け入れられるレベルです。これはこれでおいしい。バーガーキングよりこっちをお勧めします。

Fast and good service. Nice foods

I have been a loyal customer since Leon opened at schiphol plaza. This is almost my daily stop for my morning coffee and breakfast until covid hit us. I am also a regular customer at Leon Utrecht and Leon rotterdam when I travel for business. However, the overall quality declined drastically since the reopening after covid. It is very obvious food quality declined as result of cost saving, so does the service. During 8am rush hours, there are normally only one personnel at the counter taking and serving orders. This morning I had to wait 20 minutes to have my breakfast deal ready. There were 4 customer before me. 2 of them ordered coffee only, the other 2 ordered porridge and one drink with only 1 personnel. Which shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to complete the 4 orderes. In other many occasions, I had to walk away due to long waiting. In addition, inexperienced personnel shouldn't be placed during rush hours without any experienced personnel to assist. They are unfamiliar with schiphol pass and other discount options, and takes up really long time to take the order causing long queues. I really like Leon, so I really hope the management can focus back on how to retain customers rather to simply cut operating costs.

Pretty solid for crusty frozen microwave food

I tried gluten free nuggets here, Was really tasty, specifically the combination with two sauces .. I paid 10e for 10 pieces of nuggets..maybe a bit pricey..

I love there slogan, 'Natural Fast Food'. I would have this everyday if possible. Love the portions and quality although its pricey but that's the Netherlands for you. Many juice options in comparison to other establishments. Caters to almost any pallette. Not sure how anyone, children included can be unhappy.

Absolutely fantastic! What a relief to find a restaurant here in Amsterdam that deals nicely with food allergies and intolerances! They present many different gluten free and vegan options! The lemonade is so prefect, not overly sweetened. The salads amazing, the meatballs and falafel delicious. This was great quality fast food in a great place! Amsterdam is amazing!

Preis: Okay für ein Restaurant am Flughafen. Geschwindigkeit: Essen war sehr zügig fertig. Geschmack: Burger war etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Sehr exotisch aber die Qualität passt. Ambiente: Angenehme Aufmachung und ähnlich allen anderen Flughafen Bars.

The fishwrap was okay, but the service kind of poor. They don't clean up the place, so no trays eventually.

We had a Haloumi Wrap and we really enjoyed it! Tasty!
