Starbucks Lounge 2 in Schiphol

I had an unpleasant experience with Ms. Leng during my visit on 28 Nov 2025. Her attitude was rude and quite irritating, which made the environment uncomfortable not only for me but also for the other staff around her. It really affected the overall experience. However, I want to highlight that the other staff members were absolutely excellent. Ms Ezrah, Ms Mellody, Ms Chivany, and Mr Fros were all welcoming, friendly, and provided great customer service. They were professional and made me feel appreciated as a customer. It’s unfortunate that one staff member can ruin the atmosphere, because the rest of the team is truly amazing.

I lived in Seattle for years so I know just how bad Starbucks invariably is, but because this airport doesn't understand the concept of a mocha, I had no other choice. They blew my expectations out of the water, I didn't know it could be this bad.

I’m not a coffee drinker, but I usually enjoy the breakfast sandwiches and Refreshers at Starbucks. Unfortunately, this location at Amsterdam Airport missed the mark completely. The drink I received looked nothing like the advertising—there was zero fruit in the cup, and it tasted like watered-down artificial flavoring. ​I expected the standard Starbucks consistency, but this was barely drinkable. It’s frustrating to waste $10 right before a flight, especially since I didn't have time to go back and ask for a remake.

I knew what to expect here. Fresh sandwiches, a sweet dessert, and a hot coffee. And still cheaper than the surrounding restaurants. Plenty of tables and seating alleviated the crowding.

Service is horribly slow! The croissant is stale! People work in Starbucks do not care anymore and totally damaging the brand! The sitting area is nice but needs some cleaning!

Very poor service, clearly staff don't want to be there. Very disappointing definitely not what I expected from a Starbucks.

I was looking for a special edition of Starbucks cups for my friend and was helped nicely by Inez. She packed them very neatly for me, as she knew I had to travel with the mugs. I am very happy with the mugs and the great service I received.

Rude, sarcastic cashier who is very slow and will rather talk with his colleagues than take your order. So of course the line is slow. And his name was Yasi or Jasi.

Got kicked out 15 minutes before closing because they were cleaning. They were still taking orders it seemed.

I asked for an iced cherry chai tea latte, they gave me just some milk with ice, nothing more

Just visited here. The server was very kind and helped me spend my KLM voucher. Very smiley and helpful. Loved the cakes and saved the muffin for later.

Comfy Starbucks with usb chargers. Nothing out of the ordinary if it wouldn’t be for the staff, they were EXTREMELY nice and accommodating. Really smiley, made me feel great after a long flight.

There shouldn't be a huge ad for the lavender matcha if you don't have it...

They don’t let you pay using the app.

Disappointing Service Before Closing I stopped by Starbucks 30 minutes before closing and ordered a sandwich and a coffee. While they were happy to make the coffee, they refused to heat up the sandwich because they were “closing soon.” If you’re still serving drinks, why not food? It felt like they were more focused on shutting down early than serving customers. Disappointing experience—if you’re open, you should be fully open.

It was really great. The employees were very kind and the coffee was great! 💜

Why don’t they take the Starbucks app?

Extremely terrible experience! I ordered a Iced Matcha latte today and I politely asked the staff to change the milk into oat milk as usual. But all of the staffs either ignored or were giving me sarcastic comments.

Drinks were great BUT i ate one of the to go sandwiches (which were the only option they had) and was sick for the next three days. Should be more careful with the “fresh” ingredients.

Staff is on phone while line up is out the door. I thought the Dutch were prompt and workers.. I made a picture to illustrate but won’t allow me to upload.

What a pathetic excuse for opening a customer service at an airport, one staff member serving customers and taking absolutely no interest in the fact that people are catching a plane

This branch was supposed to open at 6am. It’s now 6:39 (on Saturday the 17th of August) and I’m still waiting for the employees to open. They are having coffee and eating their breakfast, chatting, while a few clients are standing in the Q…

Standard Starbucks coffee, maybe even slighly better than average. Croissant wasn't very good. Very busy, but a lot of seating available, could be cleaner.

They charged me twice on my credit card

I don't know if this is the one in zone F, but if it is the truth, the guys are very friendly, especially the one who charges, but they don't prepare the drinks with a lot of love. The sandwiches have very dry bread, do not buy the slice of lemon pancake, it tastes very chemical.

Super slow and don't have the main promotion cakes, how?

They don’t know how to froth your milk correctly. Crazy to pay so much for a bad coffee and I don’t think it’s really up to the Starbucks standard.

The females working at Thursday 15th February at 15:30 are very rude. Horrible service. One was 5”6, 220 pounds and mixed race and the other looked about 5”8, 260 pounds and black. Please train these staff members in customer service. One spent the whole time talking to other members of staff working at the airport. There was no manager present to report their behaviour to.

The rather large girl at the cashier was very rude when I asked about the doughnuts as if she was keeping them all for herself to consume after her shift. Also, the Blasian looking barista was cackling and shaking the airport with her condescending attitude. Would not recommend coming here.

Online it says they open at 6. I went there and the lady said we would open at 6:30 I went back to 6:30 she was like: Please give us 10 more minutes and the manager added "we haven't had our other staff showing up today so we are not prepared" Meanwhile the shop's tables were dirty and full of trash.

The place is a filthy mess. The staff just stand behind the counter and have conversations while all tables are dirty with food remains and chairs are just scattered all over the place. Starbucks clean up the mess it’s disgusting.

What uninterested staff... as if you don't exist! Dancing behind the counter is more important than helping customers! A customer service course would not be out of place

Great Starbucks drinks as always. This cafe offers spacious coffee experience. With plenty of space for trolleys and suitcases so a great place if you are tired and would like to rest until your next flight. It is located near the D gates.

This is one of the worst Starbuck's in the Netherlands, the staff must have to endure a lot. Unfortunately, this should not be a reason to treat customers rudely. It takes a very long time to complete the party. Really too much effort for a coffee fantasy.

I ordered a cappuccino and it was boiling hot, yet when I asked for a drop of milk milk on it, they said no. When I said the coffee was not tasting good and the milk was not creamy but foamy, they asked me if I knew what a cappuccino was. I drink daily barista coffee. I left my coffee there.

Wow, this was really a waste of money. To start with, I paid 18.50 for a donut, a small piece of cake 4x4cm, a hot chocolate and a mixed fruit juice. The donut was soggy and old, the fruit juice came out of the carton and there was so much ice cream in it that a lady said: hey, nice, do you have a slush puppi? I had a special hazelnut chocolate crunch hot Chocolat. In other words, hot chocolate with hazelnut flavor, topped with hazelnut cream and pieces of hazelnut. This is what it looked like in the picture. What I got was a watery drink with a faint hazelnut flavor and normal whipped cream. No hazelnut chocolate crunch. The service was busy, that said it all. If this is supposed to be a special experience then I can only agree, but not in a positive way. Never going to Starbucks again. Behind a facade of pretensions hide over-priced products of mediocre quality.

They were very very busy, but the staff was very quick and helpful. They were able to get through the line.

If you have to open at 6 am... then open your shop at 6 am too...

Comfortable place to sit and you get what Starbucks sells worldwide. They get 2 stars less since a part of their tables are dirty and the staff treated a foreign female customer very roughly when she asked for a "wipe" to clean it herself. Would be fine to see the staff doing that work or at least be grateful if someone is trying to do their job.
