5.50 for a bottle of water. 5.50 for a bottle of Spa Red Total 11 euros because you just got off the plane and are thirsty and there is nothing else available. Ridiculous, taking advantage of the situation. A bunch of idiots

Ordered 2 cheese toasties for €8 each.. The bread was super tough....think it was warmed up in the microwave. And for €8, there should be a thicker slice of cheese. There was barely any cheese on the sandwich. Scandalous. First and last time.

I've been here before and it was very tasty then with nice service, but that has changed... the person behind the counter was very unprofessional. I ordered a pokebowl and an iced coconut latte at the counter. The pokebowl was dry, tasteless, had hard rice, and when I asked for mayonnaise they didn't have any??? What a lie. Next, I ordered the iced coconut latte but it just didn't arrive. Then I asked, and they went to prepare it, and another waitress brought it who was nice. Only it was the wrong one... I looked back at the receipt later and they had put regular coffee with coconut milk on it??

The bacon avocado sandwich is delicious in its simplicity. The quinoa and Tempe bowl was fresh and flavorful. And I even loved the dirty Chai latte!

Dear STACH, with your computer, ordering a cup of coffee is becoming a huge challenge. Would you like some banana bread with that? Would you like a bottle of water with that? Would you like an iced coffee as well? After the third screen of upselling, I left and went to a place where you can still just order from a person. And that is where I got my banana bread, a bottle of water, and a few other things!

This was my first food stop after arriving in the Netherlands. I needed a little snack and I saw buffalo di mozzarella sandwich and I said let’s goooooo. I was not disappointed. The sandwich was delicious. I got it on sourdough and there was a tomato paste of some kind on there too. Also grabbed a small vanilla latte that enjoyed immensely. Strong recommend!

Mice are having a party there in the evening. Terribly grumpy staff. Card payments only, no cash.

They make you to use a screen to order, but a lot of the food in the window is not available on the screen. I asked the staff who were extremely rude and refused to help.

Philly steak is horrible like cats food in between two pieces of bread, it took 15 minutes to cook it. Horrible . 10€…

A very disappointing experience and definitely not worth the premium prices we paid. The coffees we received were completely underwhelming—not tasty at all and pretty cold for what should have been a hot cup of coffee. We also ordered the lasagna, but it tasted off and we couldn't even enjoy it. The only good item from our entire order was the nuts. Beyond the food, the environment and service were seriously lacking. Cleanliness: Tables were left uncleaned, making it hard to find a pleasant spot to sit. Service: The staff was highly unprofessional. We received absolutely no decent "hello," "thank you," or basic courtesy of any sort during our visit. Skip this place if you want a decent meal or basic customer service at the airport.

Ordered a „philly cheesesteak“ which apparently is a Toast, vegetarian. Got served a 10€ gross greasy brown toast with some weird spread on it. No onions found, no cheese found. Tasted like absolute dogfood. When complaining staff said “this is what arrives from the factory, tough luck” no refunds or alternatives offered. Avoid.

They don't understand the difference between the drinks they sell.

Their meatball sandwich was really good, but their coffee wasn’t that exciting. The service was alright, but the staff seemed to be confused as to how to deliver what customers had ordered - whether we should pick it up ourselves, or someone would bring it to the table. The prices were also steep, but that is to be expected in airports, I suppose.

It seemed like a nice little coffee shop to grab a quick sandwich. The coffee was good and arrived quickly, but unfortunately, the same could not be said for the sandwiches. After waiting 25 minutes, the first sandwich arrived (meatball truffle); it was very dry and lacked flavor. It took 50 minutes to get the other sandwich, after I asked 3 different members of staff where it was. In a place where everyone is in a rush, this is obviously unacceptable. Unfortunately, this sandwich was also not tasty and not presented nicely (see photo). It was nice of the manager to offer free coffee and apologize, though, as the other staff did not. All in all, not recommended.

Rude and disorganised service, they make you take a place number to bring to the table but they do not bring you the food, they just scream numbers until you go to the desk to get it yourself. Also they delivered takeaway burgers instead of dine in (which was the option selected at the self service counter). The food is nice enough but overpriced. The atmosphere is chaotic and messy and not friendly. Avoid unless there are no alternatives

Delicious Chicken Lemon Sandwich on brown bread and excellent coffee. As a demanding coffee drinker, I was fully satisfied. Fresh products, great taste, and friendly service. Definitely 5 stars!

You are asked to order through a very slow complicated screen and then have to wait ages because the same person running the coffee is running the other till.

I ordered 2 items to go, both the wrong ones. The burger wasn't smashed and the chocolate was dark instead of milk. The fries that came with the burger menu were just 3 dried-out pieces. Bad.

Complete chaos. The ordering machine is a disaster. Coffee too cold and too expensive for a cardboard cup. Staff unfriendly due to poor processes and (rightfully) grumpy customers.

Late arrival at Schiphol; desperate for something to eat. This looked more appetizing than Albert Heijn and healthier than Burger King. And so it proved! Pretty good sandwich, and the staff were friendly. Definitely would come back here the next time I am hungry at Schiphol.

I ordered a large cafe latte, bqcon and avocado sandwich and a croissant. A slight wait in the queue to order (it was 9am on a Thursday) but cashier was friendly and efficient. As some others have mentioned, prices are probably on the expensive side, but the food was very tasty and good quality. Coffee was decent too (tasted better than those from the usual big chains). It's in a busy area of the airport station plaza, so quite bustling.

Not recommended if you are in a hurry. There is someone standing at the cash register doing nothing. When I said I was in a bit of a rush, the answer I was given was that there were still some people ahead of me. I had already paid 4.35 for a coffee. Very bad! I left angry without a coffee. Welcome home to the Netherlands.

This morning, April 30th, I ordered coffee and a cookie. I was treated very poorly by a dark-skinned lady behind the counter. I saw later that she gave me the wrong cookie too. She almost said: "What do you want now?" And she wasn't in the mood to talk. I come here often. Sometimes I really think: why do I still come? They could be a bit friendlier. I paid 10 euros for a coffee with a cookie.

Waited 30 minutes, then said they accidentally threw away my receipt. Paid €32.50, received nothing.

Slowest service ever seen at an airport.

i paid and couldnt get my order. i waited 10 minutes for my toastie and there were no orders ahead of me. i had to catch my train and left. 2 employees literally walked away in the middle of my order while 5 other people were waiting for theirs and only one person was in the kitchen and one in the front. i watched the girl in the kitchen be the slowest person alive and smell sauce bottles ?

Rania served my the latte. I really loved the vanilla latte perfect taste. Had a very nice balanced taste. She made my experience excellent.

Best ginger beer I've had in a while. Sandwiches are good. Service was excellent.

I asked for black tea, and the female clerk—whether she was a staff member or a part-timer—said she didn't know anything about tea, so she handed me a bag of tea bags and told me to look for it among them. I asked for Hojicha, which was on the menu, but she said they didn't have it. Absolutely do not come here. It was a bad experience.

A slightly hipster restaurant serving veggie sandwiches. Prices are a bit high, but it's a capital city. Chilled-out place.

Ordered a vegan burger with fries. The burger bun was very dry, and the fries weren't great either. Regular mayo was served with the vegan menu, which I always find a bit of a letdown.

The staff was so friendly specially Joy Valuenzela. She serves us with a beautiful smile and accommodating..

Coffee is bad, the staff doesn't know how to make one. Service is terrible, was standing at the cashier for a good 5 minutes and had to go to the self order service myself since they are still ignoring.

Very expensive for what you get. Cold due to the proximity to the entrance, which further devalued the experience. Slow, sloppy service. And finally, pretty bad menu. Used to be nice to go for breakfast but imo not anymore. Maybe the burgers are fine for lunch/dinner.

While working at Schiphol, I grab a coffee here quite often but recently there has been often mistakes with my orders and poor service that today I have decided not to come back. once, twice or maybe a third time is fine , we make mistakes but regular poor experiences is too much.

Unfriendly service and counter staff. The number system didn't work; they just did whatever they wanted, and when you're asking almost 11 euros for two cappuccinos, you should at least look friendly.

7 euros for a hot chocolate with cream. It was poorly served and tasted awful. I couldn't even drink it. I don't recommend it.

We waited over 20 minutes for two sandwiches while there were two people ahead of us (the kitchen takes about 5 minutes to make one sandwich), and then we even got the wrong order. We won't be coming here again.

The lady behind the counter was too busy video calling and called out 'self-service' several times while we wanted to order something to eat. In the end, we got the wrong thing from her colleague, but luckily it tasted good.

The sandwiches were absolutely disgusting. You'd be better off going to a gas station. How can you consider such pre-baked bread to be high-quality, and the toppings are just plain awful. It was tossed away. Embarrassing. Really embarrassing.

Do not order here. They did not know how to make a coffee on their own menu. Also refused to give me a refund.

We ordered a cappuccino for €6, and the man told us to sit down because he didn't know how to work the coffee machine. We told him we had to catch the train, as we'd already been waiting for over five minutes. We eventually asked for a refund, which he refused to do, and instead gave us one pain au chocolat.

Coffee here used to be decent but the last few times Ive been to to this place it tasted more like boiled dirt than actual coffee

I got a medium cappuccino, which was a large cup with a lot of milk and very little coffee. So, unfortunately, you don't need to go to Stach Departure Hall 3 Schiphol for coffee. Everything else looked good, and the cookie was delicious! It's a shame you can only pay by card.

They need to work on a better system for orders and train their baristas more , the portafilter was never cleaned between shots and the steamer looked stale with old milk, pretty dissatisfied

Dry, neither warm nor cold sandwich, supposedly with truffles. Rather grumpy, yelling atmosphere although some of the employees tried.

Before ordering, I asked how long fries would take because I had to catch a train. The answer was 5 minutes, so I paid €5 for fries that, when I inquired, still hadn't been cooked five minutes later. Since I had to catch my train, I'm now €5 lighter for nothing. The employee (who was a holiday worker, according to my receipt) also showed little empathy, and I agree with other reviews here on Google that the employees are more concerned with each other than with the customers.

I was at this establishment inside the airport and found a rat there. I informed the employee, who was extremely rude and ignorant, saying that "rats are normal." In addition, she rudely asked me to leave the cafeteria. The coffee was awful, and the service was the worst I've ever seen in Europe. The employee, apparently of Indian origin, even said that she hates immigrants, which is even more absurd considering that she herself is also an immigrant. I was truly shocked by the level of disrespect and lack of hygiene at this place.

While waiting for our hotel shuttle, my partner and I sat and I ordered a coffee. About halfway through my coffee, I was approached by a member of the staff, who told me that either my partner had to get something or we both would have to leave. Bear in mind, this was at 12:30am, with no one else sitting there and plenty of seats available. On the coffee side: watery and overpriced. Absolutely terrible customer service. Steer clear.

Young man working there makes minimal effort to serve me at the kassa. He was abrupt, short with his manner as I had to catch his attention to pay for a drink. He was more interested in getting to eat food at the preparation table. Attitude requires more customer service.

This is my go to spot when arriving in the Netherlands to get a coffee and a bite to eat. You can sit out in the open and people watch or inside but I like the 2 tables outside on the REAR of the restaurant because it is quiter and more private.

Ordered a latte and coffee. The latte was supposed to be 75% foam. It was the only one open from 4:45. The staff was friendly, but slow.

I where ordering sandwich chicken with avocado. First of all it’s not eatable due to spicy - curry or what ever. We are in Europe and I would like to eat European style of food, but this spices were added in order to hind quality of meat because you will not taste anything else exept spices. Package of sandwiches is horrible - all around fat from gloves of cook, they proved only 1 paper towel. To extract sandwiches from package is also some kind of challenge - it’s totally collapsing inside. For 12.40 euro it’s not acceptable this kind of food and way of providing, beside tasting of sandwich. Never again!!!

I come to this shop almost every day and I am always most satisfied when my coffee is prepared by Prema. Firstly, he is skilled at making coffee (I've never had a case where he got my order wrong or my cappuccino lacked foam) and secondly, he is always smiling and pleasant. I have not had the same experience with all of your employees as I have with this capable young man. I always enjoy visiting your cafeteria the most when he is there. :)

Absolutely shocking experience. Microwaved spaghetti bolognese that was ice cold in the middle. I went and told the cooks and they laughed and didn't apologise. They re-microwaved it and it was still cold so I got a refund. Not one apology. Additionally, I ordered an oat milk latte and my partner asked if it was oat milk and they said they didn't know and to taste it... It was for an allergy, absolutely insane!

We were stranded at Schiphol at 23:40 and missed our last train. With no more transport possibilities we ended at Stach for a coffee and a beer. Instead of a hotel, we decided to stick it out until morning for the first train home, thanks to Wilimien and Prem who first tried to think of a solution to get us home, they made the 7 hours waiting feel like a couple of hours at a fun bar.

We missed our train so had to wait for 5 hours at schiphol. We did this here at stach food plaza and so happy we did! There we met Prem & Willemien, such lovely and friendly people. They took great care of us and eventually made our missed train, a great experience! The food and drinks were great too, definitely coming back next time I'm at schiphol!

I had to wait 30 minutes for a simple sandwich because the staff was more busy talking to each other than working. I only got my sandwich when I asked for it myself.

The food is nice! But the people working there didn’t seem to enjoy their job much, they don’t even look at you when interacting. Not a trace of warmth in their words. I know you can get tired, but part of the job is making the customer feel welcomed.

Unbelievably good. Kind, quiet service + clean, uplifting environment + excellent food, especially the multigrain sandwiches. I have flown quite a bit and this place stands head and shoulders above every other airport eatery I’ve tried.

Extremely unhygienic, poorly serviced, and they use the same knife for every type of sandwich. Halal chicken is prepared with the same knife as bacon. Definitely not recommended!

I was very satisfied with my experience at Café Stach. I would especially like to praise the kind staff member Prema for their exceptional service. Their attentiveness and friendly attitude truly made my visit memorable. Highly recommended!

I wanted to order a coffee to go during my 9-minute layover. I didn't catch my train, the coffee didn't have a holder so I couldn't hold it because of the heat, and it just had milk and no foam.

I really wanted to order a slice of pizza with salami, but the disinterested and soulless young woman behind the counter told me it was "fake" salami. So I asked what it was, and the cold reply was "vegetarian salami." When I mentioned that I'd skip it, I was met with the remark, "You can complain to your mother." If you want something tasty and to be treated kindly, you absolutely shouldn't go here!

The service is terrible in this place. Learn to talk to people properly.
