We waited over 20 minutes for two sandwiches while there were two people ahead of us (the kitchen takes about 5 minutes to make one sandwich), and then we even got the wrong order. We won't be coming here again.

The lady behind the counter was too busy on a video call and called out "self-service" several times while we were trying to order something to eat. Ultimately, her colleague gave us the wrong order, but luckily it tasted good.

They can’t even make a hot cappuccino.

Rude staff, very expensive, mediocre food. Was asked to order again or leave after only an hour in an otherwise deserted restaurant.

The sandwiches were absolutely disgusting. You'd be better off going to a gas station. How can you consider such pre-baked bread to be high-quality, and the toppings are just plain awful. It was tossed away. Embarrassing. Really embarrassing.

Lasernyer was cold (even though they pretended like they were heating up for you) beer probably not cold. Worst place on earth and airport is already horrible. AVOID AT ALL COST😵 if u dont want to waste money. Hope there was minus rating

Do not order here. They did not know how to make a coffee on their own menu. Also refused to give me a refund.

We ordered a cappuccino for €6, and the man told us to sit down because he didn't know how to work the coffee machine. We told him we had to catch the train, as we'd already been waiting for over five minutes. We eventually asked for a refund, which he refused to do, and instead gave us one pain au chocolat.

Coffee here used to be decent but the last few times Ive been to to this place it tasted more like boiled dirt than actual coffee

I got a medium cappuccino, which was a large cup with a lot of milk and very little coffee. So, unfortunately, you don't need to go to Stach Departure Hall 3 Schiphol for coffee. Everything else looked good, and the cookie was delicious! It's a shame you can only pay by card.

They need to work on a better system for orders and train their baristas more , the portafilter was never cleaned between shots and the steamer looked stale with old milk, pretty dissatisfied

Dry, neither warm nor cold sandwich, supposedly with truffles. Rather grumpy, yelling atmosphere although some of the employees tried.

Before ordering, I asked how long fries would take because I had to catch a train. The answer was 5 minutes, so I paid €5 for fries that, when I inquired, still hadn't been cooked five minutes later. Since I had to catch my train, I'm now €5 lighter for nothing. The employee (who was a holiday worker, according to my receipt) also showed little empathy, and I agree with other reviews here on Google that the employees are more concerned with each other than with the customers.

While waiting for our hotel shuttle, my partner and I sat and I ordered a coffee. About halfway through my coffee, I was approached by a member of the staff, who told me that either my partner had to get something or we both would have to leave. Bear in mind, this was at 12:30am, with no one else sitting there and plenty of seats available. On the coffee side: watery and overpriced. Absolutely terrible customer service. Steer clear.

I was at this establishment inside the airport and found a rat there. I informed the employee, who was extremely rude and ignorant, saying that "rats are normal." In addition, she rudely asked me to leave the cafeteria. The coffee was awful, and the service was the worst I've ever seen in Europe. The employee, apparently of Indian origin, even said that she hates immigrants, which is even more absurd considering that she herself is also an immigrant. I was truly shocked by the level of disrespect and lack of hygiene at this place.

Bloody dry bread with hardly any cheese will cost you 7.95 euros

Young man working there makes minimal effort to serve me at the kassa. He was abrupt, short with his manner as I had to catch his attention to pay for a drink. He was more interested in getting to eat food at the preparation table. Attitude requires more customer service.

This is my go to spot when arriving in the Netherlands to get a coffee and a bite to eat. You can sit out in the open and people watch or inside but I like the 2 tables outside on the REAR of the restaurant because it is quiter and more private.

I where ordering sandwich chicken with avocado. First of all it’s not eatable due to spicy - curry or what ever. We are in Europe and I would like to eat European style of food, but this spices were added in order to hind quality of meat because you will not taste anything else exept spices. Package of sandwiches is horrible - all around fat from gloves of cook, they proved only 1 paper towel. To extract sandwiches from package is also some kind of challenge - it’s totally collapsing inside. For 12.40 euro it’s not acceptable this kind of food and way of providing, beside tasting of sandwich. Never again!!!

Ordered a latte and coffee. The latte was supposed to be 75% foam. It was the only one open from 4:45. The staff was friendly, but slow.

I come to this shop almost every day and I am always most satisfied when my coffee is prepared by Prema. Firstly, he is skilled at making coffee (I've never had a case where he got my order wrong or my cappuccino lacked foam) and secondly, he is always smiling and pleasant. I have not had the same experience with all of your employees as I have with this capable young man. I always enjoy visiting your cafeteria the most when he is there. :)

My favorite place to have a bite when waiting for someone or getting ready for my flight. Super nice staff and quick service!

Absolutely shocking experience. Microwaved spaghetti bolognese that was ice cold in the middle. I went and told the cooks and they laughed and didn't apologise. They re-microwaved it and it was still cold so I got a refund. Not one apology. Additionally, I ordered an oat milk latte and my partner asked if it was oat milk and they said they didn't know and to taste it... It was for an allergy, absolutely insane!

We were stranded at Schiphol at 23:40 and missed our last train. With no more transport possibilities we ended at Stach for a coffee and a beer. Instead of a hotel, we decided to stick it out until morning for the first train home, thanks to Wilimien and Prem who first tried to think of a solution to get us home, they made the 7 hours waiting feel like a couple of hours at a fun bar.

We missed our train so had to wait for 5 hours at schiphol. We did this here at stach food plaza and so happy we did! There we met Prem & Willemien, such lovely and friendly people. They took great care of us and eventually made our missed train, a great experience! The food and drinks were great too, definitely coming back next time I'm at schiphol!

I had to wait 30 minutes for a simple sandwich because the staff was more busy talking to each other than working. I only got my sandwich when I asked for it myself.

The food is nice! But the people working there didn’t seem to enjoy their job much, they don’t even look at you when interacting. Not a trace of warmth in their words. I know you can get tired, but part of the job is making the customer feel welcomed.

Unbelievably good. Kind, quiet service + clean, uplifting environment + excellent food, especially the multigrain sandwiches. I have flown quite a bit and this place stands head and shoulders above every other airport eatery I’ve tried.

Extremely unhygienic, poorly serviced, and they use the same knife for every type of sandwich. Halal chicken is prepared with the same knife as bacon. Definitely not recommended!

I was very satisfied with my experience at Café Stach. I would especially like to praise the kind staff member Prema for their exceptional service. Their attentiveness and friendly attitude truly made my visit memorable. Highly recommended!

I wanted to order a coffee to go during my 9-minute layover. I didn't catch my train, the coffee didn't have a holder so I couldn't hold it because of the heat, and it just had milk and no foam.

I really wanted to order a slice of pizza with salami, but the disinterested and soulless young woman behind the counter told me it was "fake" salami. So I asked what it was, and the cold reply was "vegetarian salami." When I mentioned that I'd skip it, I was met with the remark, "You can complain to your mother." If you want something tasty and to be treated kindly, you absolutely shouldn't go here!

The service is terrible in this place. Learn to talk to people properly.

They happily make you wait 40 minutes for a hamburger and a portion of bitterballen while the staff sits next to you at the table and (coincidentally?) smacks their lips as they eat the same hamburger.

I just had a salmon salad sandwich. I already have a stomach ache before I even leave on my trip... My husband had a pizza slice that tasted like nothing. Way too expensive for what we got! Nice music, though.

We had a great experience here! The staff were super friendly, and the chips and burgers were absolutely delicious. The environment was beautiful and welcoming. The only thing I missed was having Coke or Pepsi Zero available.

Extremely poor staff, they stand around laughing and chatting without helping customers, and they take 15 minutes to make one coffee. They're incompetent, rude, and laugh at you afterward. Schiphol should fix this. This is the second time in a month I've experienced this here.

I ordered Pasta arabbiata Bolognese my Partner ordered pulled chicken multi seed roll we had an Americano ☕️ and one pint 🍻 the food was absolutely so delicious very testy but if you after being hungry all day this would not be enough for you because the portions are tiny.

It's truly unfortunate to see people wearing gloves and touching everything—from doors and chairs to the wipes used for cleaning—while the same gloves are still being used to prepare and prepare your sandwich! Do something about this!

Terrible overpriced "food" made with highly debatable ingredients. All tables are consistently dirty, sticky and probably not cleaned in years. The "service" is appalling and rude. Hygiene is really concerning, to the point that I wonder how the sanitation office didn't close the place down. Stay clear of this place.

The food is delicious! There are vegan options and the vegan avocado and crispy bacon sandwich is really good and a good sized portion. The service is fine, however the team do seem more bothered about their discussion with each other rather than awareness that it’s an airport and the majority of customers will be time sensitive. Some training would help address this issue, however given the other reviews, it does appear to be quite urgent.

Food is good but service is patchy and slow. Even when not busy. Especially in a transport hub, waiting unnecessarily for service is criminal. They seem well staffed so I can only imagine it’s a systems/training issue.

Fantastic coffee and sandwiches. Perfect for an early morning flight to jumpstart your day! We stopped by here before boarding our flight to Milan. The coconut latte is a drink that I still dream about!

A place where people are in a hurry to catch a train or flight, and it takes 12 minutes for a coffee… Barista works very slowly and talks to other colleagues while having a lot of people waiting for their coffee. Coffee tastes great though!

It is almost amazing how slowly people can work. At a location where people have to catch a train or plane, waiting ten minutes for your cup of coffee is simply too long. The employees are very hard to understand. The price/quality ratio is, in a negative sense, completely out of balance. But anyway, that is a general problem at Schiphol…

Coffee latte requested, was delicious! Great service! Atmosphere is wonderfully relaxed and the ambience music French jazz, loved it! Eat your heart out Star Bucks! My personal opinion.

Food not up to the mark. Margarita was stale and not edible. Service staff were responsive, but food needs a major revival.

While pricier than expected, I was excited to see a vegan option at the airport on my way home. The red lentil burger was so good, and the €19.50 included pretty great fries and a salad as well.

I almost died from a tuna sandwich. Six hours into my flight I felt sick as hell. Sixteen hours later, once I got to my hotel, I had severe food poisoning. The first three days of my holiday I couldn't do anything except sit in the hotel. If you want to try street food from India, go here.

Why does the restaurant use hefty plastic containers with lids for sauce for dine-in customers? When we finished, that all went in to the trash. It was a surprising waste. Has switching to a more sustainable container been considered? Is it achievable? Food was good, staff friendly, and atmosphere nice.

I was assisted by an Asian lady with glasses. I don’t know her name, but she is AMAZING. I love how she treated all the customers—she’s very sweet and polite. The best service! I ordered a chicken sandwich with avocado. I wish they had salmon on the menu. Have a great day!

The attention is pessimum, the staff who work in this cafeteria are doing their personal activities and do not pay attention to the clients, also when you place an order they give the impression of not wanting to do their job, giving faces of discomfort.

I recommend the (halal) chicken sandwich. It was quite large and the taste was nice. I also had a matcha coconut milk drink, which I would recommend to those who like matcha. To conclude, this is a nice little cafe to grab some lunch or a coffee. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but that is to be expected at Schiphol airport.

Had a nice cappuccino last Sunday. This was ready within 2 minutes (as the sweet checkout girl indicated). I will definitely come here more often, for the cappuccino and the sweet checkout girl.

Just had a sandwich here with chicken, schiracha mayonnaise, avocado and arugula. Exchanged the mayo for pistachio cream First let me say that the sandwich was fresh, quick to prepare and delicious. I felt like I was missing an ingredient, possibly a vegetable, some pine nuts or the like. Sandwich gets an 8.3 from me. The employee who helped me was very friendly, thought about solutions and even asked afterwards if I wanted the mayo and cream together, because they didn't go well together. In other words, service 9.5. It is a nice place with a nice atmosphere, friendly employees and delicious food. 9 in place! Definitely a location to come back to! *The employee who came to my attention about the composition and who partly helped me with the sandwich was also free. So passionate about the cause!

Nice coffee and vegan options at the Schiphol airport. A bit pricey but that’s normal for an airport. The food tasted great and was freshly made. Also quick and friendly service. There is also a seating area to eat/drink there.

Worst service I had in Amsterdam. I asked for a Americano with steamed milk on top and she was so miserable glaring at me like I was asking for her next born. She then gave me a plan coffee and when I said this wasn’t what i asked for she would bot refund my money she just gave me an equally bad coffee remake with a totally bitchy attitude.

If you have until retirement then yes. Otherwise it will take 10 minutes until you get your coffee. Because the barrista sings and poses instead of working. No recommendation. Also outrageously expensive. Bad coffee
