Starbucks in Schiphol

Good coffee but incredibly chaotic and ineffective organization. Long queue of people waiting to be served, only one person accepting orders, other 6 (six!!!) Starbucks staff doing nothing. The orders were nor taken in a chronological order.

A must-see when you're at Amsterdam Airport.

Given the number of negative reviews, I want to share my experience. I visited the cafe twice during a rush and the service was absolutely professional. The coffee preparation was completely silent, which I absolutely admire. Considering the number of people who are served here in an hour, tables were clean and the coffee was prepared very quickly and I left with a great feeling from the visit. I appreciate how all the employees manage such a large number of customers with complete clarity. You deserve a higher salary. Thank you to the entire Starbucks team! Sending love from Czechia 🫶🏼

I ordered a flat white. The worst coffee I've had in ages. A coffee that costs almost five euros can't afford to be like that. A disappointment and a rip-off.

Staff was friendly. Quite a lot of waiting time which is OK for a busy airport. But it was very dirty and most of all the product I got looked and tasted like filter coffee with milk, not like flat white

Coffee is just like ditch water. You order a coffee, and eventually boiling water is mixed in with a kettle until you end up with a translucent, tasteless cup of coffee.

Terrible service. I waited 30 minutes for my coffee. The breakfast was supposed to be a croissant with avocado and feta cheese, but they didn't tell me it was spicy. It was so disgusting it made my throat close up; I almost vomited. I asked for a glass of water, and they tried to charge me for it. I politely asked them to change my breakfast, and they said they'd gladly throw it away for me. A disaster. The coffee never arrived, and they only made it because I complained. The manager was helpful, but she made me the same meal, without the spice, which I can't eat now because of the disgusting taste in my mouth. It's by far the worst experience I've ever had at a Starbucks.

Worst cappuccino I ve had - milk was badly foamed and milk was burnt. Once again I am being proven that I should stay away from Starbucks.

If all Starbucks in Spain were like this, things would be very different. They're very quick, unlike back home where they take forever to serve you. The place is bright and spacious, and the employees are friendly.

Since this company is a US company with aggressive marketing, 1 star from me.

Open 24/7, so there is always time for a cup of coffee in any size or flavor. Unfortunately, there is limited choice in mugs or takeaway cups.

Horrible service. It took 15 minutes to get a chocolate muffin that was sitting right in front of me. I had to ask twice for it. Better go somewhere else.

I would rather drink cough syrup rather than your Matcha latte( and I have drank matcha latte in almost all other location in Amsterdam)🤮

Added so much sugar free syrup, the latte I ordered was impossible to drink. Had to throw it out.

We ordered one thing and they served us another, and we waited more than 15 minutes.

I got a good cafelatte with some bake kake and any ting you would like ta enjoy with an coffe.

Advertising offers on the screen and when you arrive at the til they tell you it’s sold out so you have to pay full price for something else

I was helped today by an incredibly sweet Iranian lady at the Starbucks at Schiphol. She had such a friendly and warm demeanor. Despite the crowds, she really took the time, helped with a smile, and made sure I felt welcome. People like that really make a difference during a busy travel day. If you are there, feel free to ask for the sweet Iranian lady behind the counter — she will make your day better. Thanks for the great service and positivity!

Super bad service, workers are rude to you

It was the longest wait for coffee in my life. Extremely disorganized service, not enough staff for the large number of visitors. And the Americano I waited so long for tasted like water.

We are just grabbing a drink before our flight, a lot of customers after us had their orders but we had to leave with half of our order missing as our flight was boarding…

A lot of customers I didn't buy anything but I think is good that's why they have a lot of customers, I was there because it was near to my get pass

The chain coffee shops inside Amsterdam Airport are great for grabbing a coffee or sandwich while waiting for your connecting flight. This time I ordered an Americano, which was ice-cold and refreshing.

Overpriced, as in all airports, but you have to clear and clean the table yourself after the previous person...

Worst latte ever. Not sure what went wrong but definitely not the starbucks quality

We got our coffee quickly and it tasted great! Just very expensive compared to other Starbucks.

Minimum 20 mins waiting and then you get a stale cake. The quality went down so badly I will not visit here again.

Being there at the airport opening time at 4:30 in the morning helps, I think, because we were served slowly. The products are the same, even the prices.

The worse Late EVER of all the Starbucks in the world I have been. Just go the store next door… And by the way, they are slow. It looks nice but the Caribbean import guy taking the order took far to long to write the name; the 2 girls (1 skinny blond + 1 fuller blond) ALL SLOW… It is not their looks it is their LOW BATTERY and quality AVOID

The staff are friendly! The milk-based drinks are especially delicious. The owner, who appears to be the store manager, showed his professionalism by remaking my cup when syrup stained it. It was a great first stop at the beginning of my trip. But the line was a bit long.

Starbucks is Starbucks. Nothing special, and it always takes some getting used to the coffee-cappuccino taste.

The staff was really rude, there was this guy at the cashier that got everything wrong and wasn't friendly at all! I'm not used to rude people at the counters at Starbucks

Sorry, but if tell tell me they dont have a cold brew in their menu its the same like if they tell me they dont have a coffee? This is tragic! How Starbucks can be called “coffeehouse” and have no cold brew during the summer at least? Shame.

Whenever we return from a trip, we always drink coffee before we go home

This Starbucks branch has a unique location, you will just see it in front of you when yoy arrive at AMS airport, it is really nice, they have seating area, and if you wanna smoke, it's only few steps outside the tge door. The employees are nice, helpful, and serve you with a smile, moreover the service is very fast to prepare the order and give it to you.

Starbucks, Schiphol Airport Plaza Located next to the Burger King that had been the sole option here 20 years ago, it offers a delightful twist—cardamom powder, a rare find at most locations. We indulged in a poppy seed lemon cake, completely legal but, admittedly, a bit of a waistline risk. A sweet treat, indeed, with only one real consequence—extra inches around the waits.

It tastes like coffee-flavored water

Standard Starbucks you will find anywhere around the world, but at much higher prices. Nothing surprising there, since it is in the airport. There were a limited number of tables available when we were there, since so many people with no coffee or food were taking all the tables to work on their laptops. Also, there was a very long and slow process to finally get our order and it was what we expected, standard Starbucks. Again, the biggest problem we had with this store was all the people using up the table spaces and paying customers had little options but to look for other places to enjoy their coffee. See photo.

Staff should let customers know when they are being upsold to something more expensive. I am not familiar with Starbucks so I said yes to what was being offered and there was cost associated that I was not aware of.

The fact that Starbucks does not pay Dutch taxes and openly supports and finances war crimes in the Middle East gives its coffee a bad taste.

We arrived in the middle of the night. We were helped very friendly and politely. The coffee was delicious. Thank you!!

Two people at Starbucks Arrival 1 at 2:35 PM, me and my partner, apparently this is quickly too much for the two young ladies. We are asked unfriendly what we want, no smile, smartphone in hand immediately after our order. Dear Lisa, if you are not enjoying your job, I think it would be a good idea to look for a job other than approaching customers in an unfriendly manner!

Terrible experience, took 15 minutes to get a regular cappuccino, got the wrong snack, crew extremely unmotivated and rude. And to keep it in perspective: during those 15 minutes there were about 10 customers. All in all: terrible, never going again.

Good if you are hungry. Crowded.

What a mess, boiling hot water instead of coffee gives you weak mess. It's scandalous to make people pay a hefty price for this. Grab Starbucks!!!!

€5.10 for a bottle of water should be a criminal offence, especially for a corporation as large as Starbucks.

What unfriendly staff. No smiles, mumbles, barely looking at you. The drinks are placed on the counter and you continue with your plan (name was on 1 of the 4 ordered drinks). We tried to find everyone's drink together with other customers...don't expect any help from the staff!

Payed 5 eu for a cup of 🤮almost burned my tongue, these guys don’t have a barista the coffee was super bad taste not Starbucks what I was expecting

Poor quality service. I went in to see if they had the menu that we had found at other Starbucks in Amsterdam which included coffee, cake and sandwich. Not only did the cashier treat me in an unpleasant way, but she didn't let me finish explaining and told me "this is not a restaurant" "we only have this." Really disappointing. I don't know who owns this place but they must really be losing a lot of money with the employees they have.

Closed for service. Business was barricaded like a nasty construction zone. However starbucks staff were still on site. Lazy staff were casual relaxing in front of store telling customers service closed with no explanation. So confusing.

Never experienced such bad service at Starbucks, normally my regular address and now disappointed three times in a row. Totally disinterested staff who continuously make mistakes and put the wrong stuff in the coffee.

They write a name on the cups that doesn't even remotely resemble what you passed on. When calling, they also say something completely different than what is in the cups. You then have to find out for yourself what happened, while your drink is apparently getting cold. You get the unfriendliness for free. Really what you are waiting for after a journey of about 20 hours...

It's amazing that so many staff can work in such a small area. Ordering for 4 people was incredibly messy. Someone who takes the order, 1 someone who took the cookies but the last one was missing so we missed a cookie. The tea order was already taken by the person who took the order while ordering and thought we were done with our order while someone still had to pass on their choice. And when you have paid you are waiting and without much notice a cup is placed and you have to hope that it is a cup from your order as the orders were mixed up. The cups are placed together when the order is taken. The drinks were hot. Unfortunately, there is very little seating space, so you have to find a place somewhere in the large space of Schiphol to stand and put down your coffee.

Cappuccino way too hot and tasted like burnt beans. By the time it was somewhat at drinking temperature, the milk foam was almost gone. The terrace also didn't look good with all the coffee cups left behind, luckily it was cleaned up later.

The personell was ok, but cappuccino was overheated and overextracted. What else to expect from a Starbucks at an airport.

Apparently the art of a cup of black coffee is too much to ask for the "baristas" at this Starbucks. For almost 5 euros I first received one that had not been warmed up Then I was given a bottom of one cm, then after I complained, warm water was added. Ditch water tastes even better. Start a milkshake bar if you can only make sugar drinks.

I ordered ‘’Hazelnut Chocolate Crunch Hot Chocolate’’ but they run out of crunch they did not tell me. I asked for the difference and want a refund for it since this drink is exactly the same like the classic chocolate! The will not tell u they don’t have the crunchy part and will charge you the same price this is so wrong. 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨this is really a sad story on a Christmas Eve. Lack of customer service no wondering a couple mins before one of their staff at yelling at the manager 😃

They need to fix their charging outlets/ports very few worked but the cakes weren't as expensive as nyc...coffee still $5 bucks though utterly ridiculous

It took so long that I had to leave (I had to catch my train) before I got my hot chocolate. It's worthless that they can't just make hot chocolate within 15 minutes. I've now lost 6 euros and have no hot chocolate.

Prices are incorrect and you pay a plastic surcharge (tax) when you bring your own cup 'green'. Staff are not helpful.

If you like to burn your lips on the cooked cappuccino, you should go there. Milk was burned and tasted bad. Asked to remake it but they just tell you to wait till it gets cold.. worst coffee place I’ve ever been.

We just had a disappointing experience at a this Starbucks. Right from the start, it was clear they weren't aiming for excellence. Firstly, the barista completely mangled my name when taking our order. The prices were notably higher compared to other Dutch Starbucks. We were willing to pay more, but we expected the same quality. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. We ordered Caramel Frappuccinos, but they tasted more like plain milk with a hint of ice. The caramel was barely present, only as a topping on whipped cream. What added to the frustration was how they randomly stamped my stempelkaart (loyalty card), as if they didn't want to do it. Considering the abundance of Starbucks options in Schiphol and the Netherlands, this branch is one of the worst. It failed to meet the standards we've come to expect.

One star is too many 👎 Extremely slow and finally when the order is ready it's wrong. Never again.

Why starbucks is always out of the oat milk while they have always the normal milk? Also, they charge you the same!! It’s pitty Nevertheless their taste is getting worse too.. start keeping something healthy please
