The staff are friendly! Especially the milk drinks are so delicious The person who seems to be the store manager showed his professionalism by remaking the syrup that was on the cupㅎ The first cafe I visited at the beginning of my trip was so nice But the waiting line was a bit long

Food is sloppy and service is not customer focussed. Did not feel welcome

Starbucks is Starbucks. Nothing special and always takes some getting used to the coffee-cappuccino taste.

The staff was really rude, there was this guy at the cashier that got everything wrong and wasn't friendly at all! I'm not used to rude people at the counters at Starbucks

Sorry, but if tell tell me they dont have a cold brew in their menu its the same like if they tell me they dont have a coffee? This is tragic! How Starbucks can be called “coffeehouse” and have no cold brew during the summer at least? Shame.

Whenever we return from a trip, we always drink coffee before we go home

This Starbucks branch has a unique location, you will just see it in front of you when yoy arrive at AMS airport, it is really nice, they have seating area, and if you wanna smoke, it's only few steps outside the tge door. The employees are nice, helpful, and serve you with a smile, moreover the service is very fast to prepare the order and give it to you.

Starbucks, Schiphol Airport Plaza Located next to the Burger King that had been the sole option here 20 years ago, it offers a delightful twist—cardamom powder, a rare find at most locations. We indulged in a poppy seed lemon cake, completely legal but, admittedly, a bit of a waistline risk. A sweet treat, indeed, with only one real consequence—extra inches around the waits.

It tastes like coffee-flavored water

Standard Starbucks you will find anywhere around the world, but at much higher prices. Nothing surprising there, since it is in the airport. There were a limited number of tables available when we were there, since so many people with no coffee or food were taking all the tables to work on their laptops. Also, there was a very long and slow process to finally get our order and it was what we expected, standard Starbucks. Again, the biggest problem we had with this store was all the people using up the table spaces and paying customers had little options but to look for other places to enjoy their coffee. See photo.

Staff should let customers know when they are being upsold to something more expensive. I am not familiar with Starbucks so I said yes to what was being offered and there was cost associated that I was not aware of.

The fact that Starbucks does not pay Dutch taxes and openly supports and finances war crimes in the Middle East gives its coffee a bad taste.

We arrived in the middle of the night. We were helped very friendly and politely. The coffee was delicious. Thank you!!

Two people at Starbucks Arrival 1 at 2:35 PM, me and my partner, apparently this is quickly too much for the two young ladies. We are asked unfriendly what we want, no smile, smartphone in hand immediately after our order. Dear Lisa, if you are not enjoying your job, I think it would be a good idea to look for a job other than approaching customers in an unfriendly manner!

Terrible experience, took 15 minutes to get a regular cappuccino, got the wrong snack, crew extremely unmotivated and rude. And to keep it in perspective: during those 15 minutes there were about 10 customers. All in all: terrible, never going again.

Good if you are hungry. Crowded.

What a mess, boiling hot water instead of coffee gives you weak mess. It's scandalous to make people pay a hefty price for this. Grab Starbucks!!!!

€5.10 for a bottle of water should be a criminal offence, especially for a corporation as large as Starbucks.

What unfriendly staff. No smiles, mumbles, barely looking at you. The drinks are placed on the counter and you continue with your plan (name was on 1 of the 4 ordered drinks). We tried to find everyone's drink together with other customers...don't expect any help from the staff!

Poor quality service. I went in to see if they had the menu that we had found at other Starbucks in Amsterdam which included coffee, cake and sandwich. Not only did the cashier treat me in an unpleasant way, but she didn't let me finish explaining and told me "this is not a restaurant" "we only have this." Really disappointing. I don't know who owns this place but they must really be losing a lot of money with the employees they have.

Never experienced such bad service at Starbucks, normally my regular address and now disappointed three times in a row. Totally disinterested staff who continuously make mistakes and put the wrong stuff in the coffee.

Closed for service. Business was barricaded like a nasty construction zone. However starbucks staff were still on site. Lazy staff were casual relaxing in front of store telling customers service closed with no explanation. So confusing.

They write a name on the cups that doesn't even remotely resemble what you passed on. When calling, they also say something completely different than what is in the cups. You then have to find out for yourself what happened, while your drink is apparently getting cold. You get the unfriendliness for free. Really what you are waiting for after a journey of about 20 hours...

It's amazing that so many staff can work in such a small area. Ordering for 4 people was incredibly messy. Someone who takes the order, 1 someone who took the cookies but the last one was missing so we missed a cookie. The tea order was already taken by the person who took the order while ordering and thought we were done with our order while someone still had to pass on their choice. And when you have paid you are waiting and without much notice a cup is placed and you have to hope that it is a cup from your order as the orders were mixed up. The cups are placed together when the order is taken. The drinks were hot. Unfortunately, there is very little seating space, so you have to find a place somewhere in the large space of Schiphol to stand and put down your coffee.

The coffee they make is always top! I picked it up at Amsterdam airport

Cappuccino way too hot and tasted like burnt beans. By the time it was somewhat at drinking temperature, the milk foam was almost gone. The terrace also didn't look good with all the coffee cups left behind, luckily it was cleaned up later.

The personell was ok, but cappuccino was overheated and overextracted. What else to expect from a Starbucks at an airport.

Apparently the art of a cup of black coffee is too much to ask for the "baristas" at this Starbucks. For almost 5 euros I first received one that had not been warmed up Then I was given a bottom of one cm, then after I complained, warm water was added. Ditch water tastes even better. Start a milkshake bar if you can only make sugar drinks.

I ordered ‘’Hazelnut Chocolate Crunch Hot Chocolate’’ but they run out of crunch they did not tell me. I asked for the difference and want a refund for it since this drink is exactly the same like the classic chocolate! The will not tell u they don’t have the crunchy part and will charge you the same price this is so wrong. 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨this is really a sad story on a Christmas Eve. Lack of customer service no wondering a couple mins before one of their staff at yelling at the manager 😃

They need to fix their charging outlets/ports very few worked but the cakes weren't as expensive as nyc...coffee still $5 bucks though utterly ridiculous

It took so long that I had to leave (I had to catch my train) before I got my hot chocolate. It's worthless that they can't just make hot chocolate within 15 minutes. I've now lost 6 euros and have no hot chocolate.

I love Starbucks and enjoyed my coffee there at Schipol airport in Amsterdam

Prices are incorrect and you pay a plastic surcharge (tax) when you bring your own cup 'green'. Staff are not helpful.

If you like to burn your lips on the cooked cappuccino, you should go there. Milk was burned and tasted bad. Asked to remake it but they just tell you to wait till it gets cold.. worst coffee place I’ve ever been.

We just had a disappointing experience at a this Starbucks. Right from the start, it was clear they weren't aiming for excellence. Firstly, the barista completely mangled my name when taking our order. The prices were notably higher compared to other Dutch Starbucks. We were willing to pay more, but we expected the same quality. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. We ordered Caramel Frappuccinos, but they tasted more like plain milk with a hint of ice. The caramel was barely present, only as a topping on whipped cream. What added to the frustration was how they randomly stamped my stempelkaart (loyalty card), as if they didn't want to do it. Considering the abundance of Starbucks options in Schiphol and the Netherlands, this branch is one of the worst. It failed to meet the standards we've come to expect.

One star is too many 👎 Extremely slow and finally when the order is ready it's wrong. Never again.

You can always rely on the products from Starbucks to be consistent. And this location is no different. Between flying out myself or picking up/dropping off people at the airport, I almost always stop by this Starbucks for whatever sounds 'lekker. This morning though I happened to order a venti mocha in tears after I had seen my brother off to his flight home. The young lady at the register just met my sadness with the warmest smile and said "It's ok to cry. Feelings are valid." And I could just breathe and keep moving as she said "coffee will make it better." I was already pumped up from this small gesture and then before I know it her colleague (Jordi) comes walking up to me as I'm waiting for my order. He offers me a cup of water and a small stack of napkins with the biggest smile, just restoring my faith in humanity and sending me off with warmth in my heart from this most special coffee shop visit.

- Unprofessional staff ! - Doesn't care if someone is here waiting ! - Discussing and laughing while turning their back at you ! - Mediocre service with absolutely no smile to the customer ! - Make the customer feel like they're disturbing them in the middle of their jokes ! - Waiting for about 10 minutes for a Mocha at 6 AM while there are 6 of them at the counter! I strongly advise the customers to go elsewhere! And I strongly advise the direction to come and see by themselves so they can correct that lack of professionalism that gives the brand a bad image !

I’m writing this review after one year from my last visit to Amsterdam, very rude staff, slipping the order without any respect , and one of them was saying bad words to us. I wrote official complaint against them but nothing happened.

Got my coffee without soy milk. Was immediately recreated after reporting :) nice employees and pleasant atmosphere. Maybe Schiphol can do something about the location, since it looks a bit dark

The lady with name Pyriana at the counter should give more effort to the customers rather than this moody and grumpy unwelcomin face and behaviour

Great coffee, but a bad attitude from the staff. Barista was not in a hurry and was busy answering messages. That's why it all took unnecessarily long.

Very tasty Frappe & Latte, and excellent and quick service

Deserving of all the other bad reviews. They call this a Starbucks "Reserve" but the staff didn't even know what I was talking about when I asked for a reserve coffee using one of the special brewing methods these stores have. Every table in the place was a mess and it wasn't even that busy. Definitely an embarrassment for the brand here.

Good service, nice and easy to find, perfect place to wait for a pick up or a flight. Good coffee with a nice seating overlooking the aircraft. Highly recommend. 👍

Waited more than 45 minutes in the departure hall, after ordering a coffee and smoothie, both of which, considering the price of 16 euros together, were not even sufficient, but vague in taste. Staff is slower than slow, maybe because we were there at 7 a.m., I have no idea. We were number 3 in line and were helped quickly. I think the coffee beans came from Africa. After the long wait, the line had grown to at least 50 people. Disappointed and frustrated, unfortunately, we left for the gate. Partly because there was no interaction whatsoever between staff.

A lot of staff get in each other's way. Yet it always takes a long time. The manager (?) or at least a lady who is not wearing Starbucks clothes is sending people everywhere. When you grab your drink you don't even get a glance. Too bad, but this is not a nice Starbucks.

I drank coffee while waiting at the airport. The coffee tasted bad and the price was a little higher than normal. For such a busy place, both seating and number of employees were few. There is a long queue every time a plane lands.

We are waiting at the airport and enjoy your favorite coffee. Huge selection of coffees. The price corresponds to the quality + large volume. There are cakes and sandwiches. There are not many tables (3-4 tables), the place is not big, it will be a problem to sit at a free table, but for the airport it is normal to sit next to each other on suitcases and on the floor)) I recommend.

Unprofessional staff 30 minutes wait rude service

My experience was great! I’ve been there a few times this week (Tuesday, Thursday and Friday early morning) and found the cashiers to be extremely caring and friendly. This is a Airport Starbucks and although all airport chains strive to be identical to ones in-city, you have to keep into account that the volume and type of customers is different. Can’t believe some bad reviews are because they mispelled the name or for the long waiting times. If you don’t have the time for it or you’re in a bad mood, then don’t get it!

15m wait for a cold brew when it's not crowded. This team of staff need a cooperation workclass because they work like individuals, not as a team.

I ordered a venti latte with extra shot today - the barista spilled 2/3 of the shots, didn’t refill fully, and didn’t even bother cleaning the cup. The drink ended up tasting like water. Worst experience at Starbucks ever especially considering the insane prices.

It's Starbucks, a small one, but still.

Long story short. Not the best Starbucks you can visit (small location, limited seating options and always crowded), however, it serves its purpose!

4 ladies behind the counter....and still can't keep up. With 2 people behind the cash register; one of the ladies takes the order and the other writes names on the cups... all in all very cumbersome and far from efficient. I was number 3 in the queue and only had my coffee after 10 minutes.....too bad. The products are of good quality.

Decaf no longer works because the device has already been cleaned. How bureaucratic. Missed opportunity for Starbucks.

Wow this morning around 08:30 I paid €5,10 for a medium Cappuccino and when I got it, it felt very light... I opened it and the cup was only HALF full. Other half was foam. Definitely mentioning this to Starbucks.

My worst experience in a Starbucks. Coffee was pathetic and staff was so careless. I ordered the ginger bread latte and it came like a vanilla milkshake with almost no coffee inside.

Not the atmosphere, and service that Starbucks is so well-known for.

Nice coffee but super expensive!

Ten minutes after I ordered, I found out that they missed my order. I told the server, who said it is coming up. Ten minutes later, I have to ask them again, and finally received my drink five more minutes later. More than twenty people have been served before me while ordering after me.

Queue bad coffee but service was friendly

Staff all look asleep. Espresso looks like it was the rest of some one coffee. Bins every where and its dirty.

Staff training appears to be lacking. When asking about allergens multiple staff members had no clue and the fourth staff member involved just said yes it's fine. After making my purchase I had time to look up the nutritional/allergen information on the Starbucks website and found out the staff had lied about the allergen information (I believe they simply didn't know and 'winged it'). So, I didn't consume my products and I would not recommend this Starbucks.
