BREAD in Schiphol

They attempt to scam people at the checkout by offering currency conversion at an extremely extortionate rate plus a ridiculous 3 euro fee. Unbelievable. This place is expensive enough already without a blatant attempt to fleece people at the checkout. You'd expect this from street sellers, not from an international airport

For the price you pay, it’s worthless. Coffee is big disappointment. Food is OK ish, very hard bread though - felt stale / overcooked, palate is now sore due to over chewing- won’t eat salmon sandwich again. Coffee - worse coffee I have drunk so far this year. Coffee is stale too. Obviously it’s over priced like any other airport cafes. Big opportunity to win here, basics missing.

The pizza tasted disgusting, it had a smell of plastic. The water was 4.50 euros.

Waiting fifteen minutes for the panini, but the lady doesn't even look up and keeps scraping the counter to remove the cheese residue... so instead, a cheese sandwich you can really sink your teeth into... catering at Schiphol is getting worse and worse!!!!

Absolutely disgusting, currently sat here and the place is so unhygienic that there is rats and mice running around near the seating area. i would advise against ever coming here.

In Europe it’s really hard to mess up a sandwich, the cheese and the bread are delicious. Not at all this place. I hit the Chicken Salad sandwich and it was lame, flavorless, with a tiny amount of filling. 😡😡😡😡😡

Bad quality coffee and quite expensive 5.20 for medium coffee woman didnt even put full milk it was %70 full. They should only sell bread .

The panini was pre-cooked and sitting under a heat lamp. It was so dry it almost broke a tooth.

Awful coffee, half filled cup and extortionate prices

I had a Veggie pizza slice here and it was properly tasty and really good texture. All the food looks good and fresh. They have a small selection of interesting prepacked salads in a fridge near the coffee counter. There's loads of seating, some with charging and it's kept clean. Staff were friendly too. There are much worse places to eat so if you like sandwiches, sausgae rolls, pizza slices or salads try here.

The food is overpriced and dull. I ordered tomato and cheese panini but surprisingly there were no tomatoes. Also cashier should have been more mindful as I took a small bottle of smoothie but paid for the large. The prices do not match the quality of the food

The food was really delicious, I ate a really fresh and delicious pizza, but there was a problem with the line, the wait was very long because the coffee machine is at the cashier, and by the time I got to pay, the food was already almost ready. There is room for improvement in terms of service. Also there have a lot of space to seat. One more thing to improve it's the coffee desk Really dirty and there were no lids large enough for my coffee cup... a medium cup, which is the most popular size. Also the coffee is nice.

Very expensive for poor service. Their caps for coffee cups won't fit and you have to keep looking for sugar or asking their staff who are clueless.

I was going to buy because it seems to be the only thing open at this time but two mice ran out from under the counter towards the benches where there are people sleeping.

Asked for one of the fresh croissants and she said no.

Had a sandwich with sund dried 🍅 and 🧀 and it was good. Slightly on the costlier side. But good.

€9 for a panini. Tables too gross to sit at. So sticky that they don't want to let you go and the food and drinks from the previous people are still on the table. Pffffffff.

It's been a month since I visited Europe, and one of the places I went to was Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He mentioned that he could vividly recall how I looked because of the American flag in my blue shirt. He mentioned that he works at BREAD. I was genuinely impressed by ADAM's unwavering honesty and determination in finding me—and he succeeded! If there's a single phrase to encapsulate his honesty and express gratitude, it would be simply ADAM! I have so much appreciation for ADAM that it prompted me to return to the bakery. I even took the time to speak with Adam's manager personally. I want to express my gratitude to both of them! I apologize for the delay in sending this letter, as the incident occurred over a month ago. Nonetheless, it's never too late to show appreciation for an exceptional employee like ADAM BOUABID. Awful food and awful service - extremely rude

Cozy atmosphere and good food. A bit pricey, but it's Schiphol. Great to kill time while waiting for your flight.

Delicious sandwiches, but quite expensive. Enough space to wait for the departing flight.

2 coffees with a cake, the cake was without paper or saucer, so I grabbed it with my (clean fingers) the lady who prepared the coffee raged at me because I had grabbed them without tongs, saying that the tone could be different and I am still a customer, when the coffee was ready she put it down in front of the tray, when I asked if she could put it on she said: you can get the cake yourself, so you can make the coffee yourself too!. What a.....from a staff member.

Good option for a quick and cheap meal at the airport

€9.45 for a bag of crisps and a small can of Heineken. I know, it’s a rip-off, but what did you expect at an airport? The staff is always friendly though and the sandwiches look nice but since I’m not (yet) a millionaire I just get the crisps. And a Heineken because pre-flight beers are the best beers.

Had a slice of black olive & sunblushed tomato pizza and a glass of red wine. Was absolutely delicious & the friendly staff made me smile. What planet do these other reviewers live on? Clearly not one that values flavour and service with a smile. As for price, your in one of the worlds largest airport hubs, you can’t compare it to prices of the place at the bottom of your street.

Great place for lunch. Surprisingly good, crispy pizza. They sell wine as well. Numerous seating arrangements: hightops, low tops, soft seating...Lunch for two people +/- 30 EU.

Food is quite alright but low stars for cost vs. value.

Bag your own tasty pastry and pay at the till. I enjoyed a sausage roll and almond pastry. Both were delicious and fresh. I was disappointed to not see an espresso machine to pair a cappuccino with my pastries. They do have a coffee machine that makes them at the push of a button. Lots of places to sit and watch the sunrise or the planes come and go.

My favorite place to eat! staff was very helpful and friendly. The food is amazing and the prices are not cheap, but thats something the staff can't do anything about it. So people don't blame them! I even make friends with two guys from Bread. One was turkish and one was asian.

I was hungry, and did not have a lot of cash. Their food was decent, and didn’t cost a lot. Friendly staff, good service. My chips were cooked by Ank.

Koffie was prima. Dame achter de kassa (jong, knotje van donker kroeshaar) was erg klantonvriendelijkheid. Bij iedere klant die koffie bestelt zegt ze schaapachtig, ja of niets en blijft je aankijken. Daaruit moet begrepen worden dat je er achteraan moet zeggen welke grote je wilt. Ik had geen idee van het bestaan ervan. De vraag; welk formaat wilt u mevrouw? Had ik op prijs gesteld. Ik zat vervolgens vlakbij, helaas ging dit bij meer klanten zo. Totaal niet klantgericht.

Хорошее место, чтобы посидеть. Сэндвичи дороговаты, но это как во многих аэропортах. А вот наливной Sprite оказался жидким, безвкусным. Вероятно, давно не проверяли что там льётся. Плюсы: Выбор сэндвичей, месторасположение, сервис. Минусы: цены, плохо следят за разливами напитками.
