The food is delicious. Lots of choice. Service was a bit slow at the beginning.

Last weekend, we visited Levantine as part of our 1-year anniversary celebration. With the parking garage literally around the corner, we were inside within a few minutes. Upon entering, you immediately noticed the beautiful ambiance and the delicious aroma of the food. We were shown to our table by a friendly host. The menu is extensive. We opted for a mixed grill dish. It included Andana Kebab, which I really love. However, unfortunately, it was made with beef and lamb. I don't eat beef, so I asked if it could be made with just lamb. Initially, he indicated that this wasn't possible because the skewers were already prepared. Unfortunately, there was nothing he could do about it. Because I don't eat beef, he adjusted the dish so that it didn't contain any beef. Suddenly, after a few minutes, he came back to say that they would make an Andana Kebab with only lamb especially for me. That was a very pleasant surprise and a lovely addition to a beautiful evening. If there is one point of criticism, it is that there was a waitress serving—who was very friendly, by the way—who spoke no Dutch and hardly any English. As a result, ordering the dessert was slightly delayed. Fortunately, one of her colleagues noticed that things weren't going smoothly and came over to ask for clarification on exactly what we had ordered. In the end, it was served promptly. All in all, a very positive experience, so a return visit is already being planned. We would love to share this experience with our loved ones.

A burger is no ordinary burger here. Prepared and served with top quality. Lovely service too.

The food is of good quality, but it is a shame about the small portions for such an expensive price. The service is very poor. You have to ask for an order multiple times, and we even received the wrong order. We were eventually able to get our correct order, but it took longer than 20 minutes. Unfortunately, not worth repeating.

What a step backward. The service is appalling. There is a very arrogant host. We placed an order, but the waiter passed it on incorrectly. The food was not delivered all at once. Each plate had to be brought separately. There is no room for personal additions to orders (even though we paid for it). All in all, never again for us.

The menu has changed. Less food, more expensive, less meat in the mix grill dish. They refuse to change the side dish from rice and bulgur to fries and bulgur or salad as they used to accept this option before. So now you pay more, get less food, less meat, Les flexible options. Airco was not working in a day of 32°. Disappointed! Used to be there a lot and invite friends!

I ate here once years ago. I thought it was delicious back then. The portions were much better then than they are now. After we finished eating, we just went to a snack bar because it wasn't filling enough. It's a shame, as it is a nice location.

We had Turkish breakfast at Levantine in Utrecht and had a great experience. The breakfast was very fairly priced — around 30% cheaper than what we would expect to pay for the same kind of quality in our hometown in Germany. The quality was good, the variety was generous, and there was a nice mix of warm dishes, cheeses, olives, spreads, bread, and fresh items. Everything felt fresh and well put together. And the menemen was one of the best I’ve eaten outside of my grandma’s kitchen. What stood out even more was the service: very warm, empathetic, and welcoming. The place has a nice multicultural feeling, and you can tell they make different guests feel comfortable. Overall, a really good Turkish breakfast experience in Utrecht. We were honestly surprised the ratings aren’t even better. Would definitely recommend, especially for a relaxed weekend breakfast with family or friends.

There were four of us. The main courses were not brought out at the same time. Two had received their dishes, after which the third had to wait 5 minutes and the fourth almost 15 minutes (and the latter would probably have taken even longer if we hadn't asked a staff member ourselves). We waited politely until everyone had received their dish, and as a result, our food had gotten cold. Prices have become much more expensive, but the portions are much smaller. The portion sizes also varied by dish. In a Turkish/Middle Eastern restaurant, it is only normal to receive a well-filled plate. Half of it was salad. The rest was a few cubes of veal and a little eggplant puree. And previously you used to get some bread with spreads; well, that wasn't the case now. There is a new menu, and something basic like fries or rice is no longer included as standard with every dish. The mocktails were extremely salty, even though we can handle a bit of sweetness. No tea on the house either. No, really a terrible waste of my money, especially now that it has become ridiculously expensive, and for what you get... It's not worth it. Shame... but I won't be coming back here anytime soon.

One of my favorite restaurants! The food is always (meat) lamb chops prepared superbly and always taste delicious. The starters and side dishes are also delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful. The price is good compared to what other restaurants charge.

The staff seemed uninterested, and we did not feel welcome. After we had sat down, I asked for the menu. The waiter responded curtly and in a snapping tone with "I'm going to bring it," which made the atmosphere even more uncomfortable. In the end, we got up and left without ordering anything. Very disappointing, as we had been looking forward to a relaxed breakfast. Absolutely not recommended for us – customer friendliness was nowhere to be found here.!!!!

This is my fav Turkish restaurant. I really like the bulgur, the side dish that goes with grill dishes. The grilled lamb is also good, i don't usually eat much because of the smell but here it was really good, no smell at all. I also had experience eating their Ramadan buffet, it was a unique experience for me. I would recommend reserving the table before you come for dinner.

Tried the iftar menu yesterday, and the price-quality ratio was incredibly poor. My boyfriend and I got sick because of it. My boyfriend has been puking all day, and I'm on the verge of vomiting constantly. Never again! Baklava was good, though.

The service also deserves a compliment: attentive, friendly, and always willing to help or offer advice. You can tell they really care about their guests. Restaurant Levantine was a surprising discovery! Our guest from Turkey, a picky eater with a penchant for meat dishes, was completely in his element here. The atmosphere is cozy, the menu extensive, and the food? Delicious! The meat was perfectly tender, the fries crispy as they should be. Just a little extra vegetables would have made it perfect. The service was friendly and attentive, so we will definitely be back! Iftar 2026 We spent our third Iftar of the year at Levantine for the first time. It was also the first time we opted for a buffet concept—and we loved it. There was a choice of two kinds of soup and an extensive buffet with various meat and vegetable dishes, salads, and desserts. Something for everyone, and everything was constantly replenished. What truly made this evening special, however, was the service. Especially Ceren and her fiancé Rifat (I hope I spelled his name correctly). They truly made the difference: so friendly, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. You immediately feel welcome. It was precisely because of that warm service that we ended our iftar there again on our fifth day. The food was good again, but the staff especially deserves a big compliment—hats off! We'd love to come back.

The food was delicious. The yogurt drink never arrived; after reminding them, we were told it was finished. Later, we ordered künefe. After 15-20 minutes, we rang the bell again. Then we were told it would take another 8 minutes, meaning they wouldn't start preparing it until then. Otherwise, the service was also 5 stars.

The food is okay, not typically Turkish. You don't get bread unless you ask for it. And then you get it without sauce, except when I asked for garlic sauce and got dill sauce. A grilled vegetable dish, very few vegetables, with a pineapple slide on top. Strange.

We only ate kunefe, but it was very good. The presentation was excellent, but I would have liked the staff to be a little more cheerful. Still, it's a quality place.

We combined a family gathering with a few birthdays at Levantine on Sunday from 11:30 AM to 2 PM for breakfast/lunch. The atmosphere was simply great. The sound was a bit loud, but at times it wasn't too bad. The service was simply excellent and friendly. A peek into the kitchen and the display case was mouthwatering. Everything looked fresh and well-prepared. Fortunately, they also explained what some of the small side dishes were. It was crystal clear to us that we would definitely return.

I had my birthday celebration at your place, and we were very satisfied with the food — its taste, quality, portion sizes for the price, cleanliness, welcoming staff, and the overall atmosphere. However, there are a few points I’d like to mention. I left a note with my reservation but never received a reply. It also would have been nice to get a bit more attention during our visit, as no one checked on our table even once, and we had to look for someone when we needed assistance. And one small detail that could make the experience even better — my friend mentioned to the waiter that it was my birthday when we ordered dessert, but there was no small gesture or compliment from the restaurant, which would have been a lovely touch.

The mezze was delicious, especially the crispy bread. And the hummus with fresh bread was also delicious. I had a mixed chicken and meat sis, which was quite tender. I've had better, though. But I really enjoyed the Adana chicken and meat, which I wouldn't recommend because it doesn't taste like the Adana we're used to. The onion salad was perfect, and the fries were delicious. Otherwise, the service was good and the atmosphere was normal. Thank you, that was my experience.

We had a wonderful evening at Mevsim! For our appetizers, we chose four types of mezze: hummus, baba ganoush, and acılı ezme, all delicious and well-seasoned. For the main course, we had the spicy spareribs and the ribeye. Both were excellently prepared – the ribeye was perfectly grilled and juicy, and the spareribs were deliciously spicy. However, we found the sauce on the spareribs a bit overpowering, which somewhat drowned out the flavor of the meat. All in all, a delicious experience and definitely worth returning for!

Tasty food. I did enjoy the Levantine mix. Especially the chicken adana, which I have never eaten before. My only tip: one of us got his main course at the same time as two of us got soup. The rest then all got their main course at the same time. It would have been nicer if we had all received our main course at the same time. Perhaps the order was placed too early, because only one person immediately knew what he wanted. Otherwise a great tent with good food.

STEAK REVIEW!! No other dishes!! I thought about giving a lesser review because I really wish it for them, but read on and you will understand. It's really a shame how they have deteriorated. When they first opened until about last year it was really great here. I always get the ribeye steak, but for the past 5 times something has been wrong every time. I have promised myself that if things go wrong 5 times in a row, it will not be my fault or just one time. Something has changed here and you notice it in the food. Very unfortunate because I liked coming here, even though it is on the more expensive side. From now on we'll go back to Amsterdam for a good halal steak. I hope that in the future they will be like before, but I will wait until someone tells me otherwise because I will not go there again on my own.

The tables are a bit too close together for my preference. We sat at the table in front of the outside door, so every time the door opened we felt the cold.

Iftar menu is a total disappointment. Supposedly all you can eat. If you have finished your plate, please stand up. There's nothing left to eat. If you ask the staff, it will be refilled. You don't get a clear answer. You wait a little longer with the idea that they will refill it, but no! All meat products are prepared with lots of herbs and salt. No quality at all. Definitely not worth the money. Plus the parking costs you incur for this business are the extra that rounds off your disappointment. Never again.

We hebben vandaag tijdens de ramadan het iftar open buffet gedaan. In 1 woord: verschrikkelijk. Het was pure oplichterij. 45 euro per persoon, dus 90 euro voor 2 personen voor eten dat ver onder niveau was. Ik heb mijn bord niet eens op kunnen krijgen, omdat het eten gewoon niet smakelijk was. Kip zonder smaak, te vette loempia's, droge patat. Uiteindelijk met honger en 90 euro lichter opgestaan en ergens anders gegeten. Dit kan echt niet en vooral tijdens de iftar verwacht je op z'n minst lekker eten na een hele dag niks gegeten te hebben.

We did the iftar open buffet today during Ramadan. In one word: terrible. It was a complete scam. 45 euros per person, so 90 euros for 2 people for food that was far below standard. I couldn't even finish my plate because the food just wasn't appetizing. Chicken without taste, too greasy spring rolls, dry fries. In the end I got up hungry and 90 euros lighter and ate somewhere else. This is really not possible and especially during iftar you at least expect good food after not eating anything all day.

Price is probably too high for what you get

A well-priced restaurant with authentic dishes inspired by the Middle East. The mix of mezes comes without bread and plates. When ordering a levantine mix for 6 people, the mix is ​​taken from the menu for 4 and released for 2 times. This is clearly not what we expect as customers. The food is of excellent quality. This restaurant does not serve alcohol, this is not a problem, but know what to expect.

Came here for dinner with my husband on Valentine's Day, drove 1:30 hours, but unfortunately everything was bad. Service, food and place! Had to eat with a great view as you can see in the photo. They bring the food without anything, such as: bread, sauces, etc. Had to ask for everything every time, bad! Oh yes, my husband had to take the candle from another table himself because ours was out and he wanted to be romantic.

The starters were so much more delicious than the main course :) We started strong with a mix of Arabic/Turkish starters, which were really tasty. We had a mix of Kebabs for the main course. Some too fatty, some too dried, and the spices were not used properly.

We spent €100 for 2 people and a child of almost 2. I had an al quds lokum menu. The food was tasty but very little. I was still hungry when I went home. Although we were very well received, I did not think the service was good afterwards. Because then we wanted to order dessert and tea, but no one came and no one was walking, so we decided to leave. I thought the portion was very meager. Furthermore, it smelled very much like pastirma or Something similar upon arrival.

My last visit is from January 11, 2025. I have been coming to Levantine year in and year out and want to be open and honest, in Utrecht you will not find a better, neater, attractive Mediterranean grill restaurant than Levantine! Of course there are also areas for improvement despite the 5 stars, but I always think it will be your own business and you have to arrange the staff, meat, guests, cleaning, machines, sound, maintenance and much more and believe me, that will come very quickly. There's really a lot to look at that I don't think I've seen! You get 100 stars from me, but via Google I can only give 5, hahaha! See you again soon and I'm already looking forward to it!

Their appetizers are so great! But the main dishes with kebabs were average for me. A bit dry and the adana was fatty. It is good to try if it is your taste or not. The atmosphere is nice.

28 december met het gezin heerlijk gegeten. Bediening was vriendelijk, snel en bekwaam. We zijn snel geholpen, niet lang gewacht op het eten, het eten was ook warm. Goed gekruid en vlees was mals. Thuis kwamen we erachter dat 3 drankjes niet op de bon stonden. Achteraf toch even gebeld en gevraagd of ze mij een betaalverzoek konden sturen. De eigenaar was verrast en heeft daarom de drankjes cadeau gedaan. Niet alleen om de vriendelijkheid maar ook om het lekker eten komen wij zeker terug en raden wij familie en vrienden aan om hier een hapje te eten.
