L'ibzar in Wijk 01 Centrum Zeist

Terrible place threatens you on the phone and tells you that you have stolen if you honestly indicate that the food was inedible…. Definitely not worth it

We have, unfortunately, had a less successful experience. We found the starter, the soup, tasteless. We also had to ask for salt. The entree contained too much coriander, and it just wasn't enough. The tagine, as a main course, was super dry and contained no moisture. We found the night out, unfortunately, disappointing.

We had dinner here with 5 people on a weekday evening. The host (Ahmed) is super friendly and committed. He always comes and tells everything and asks if everything is to your liking. Walks around with a big smile all evening. That makes the evening for us. If the service is good, then the delicious food is a nice bonus.. But this is so delicious here... unprecedented!!! I had the Tajine Andalous (lamb) it was really tasty and the meat was of very good and high quality. The vegetables were delicious. Highly recommended to eat here. We had a great evening!! Authentic Moroccan atmosphere and delicious food! We recently had a date night and this restaurant was a complete surprise from my wife. From the moment we stood at the door, it felt like home. The beautiful plants and the shop window full of Arabic vintage items immediately gave a warm and familiar feeling. Upon entering we were impressed by the interior: beautiful Moroccan statues, cultural objects, atmospheric lamps and a breathtaking ceiling. We were really amazed! While we waited expectantly for our food, we enjoyed traditional Moroccan tea, served in an authentic way with a teapot and small glasses. When the food was served, everything fell into place. The dishes arrived on beautifully presented plates and tasted wonderful. There was a small misunderstanding with the order, but this was immediately made up for with some extra treats at the table. The employees were incredibly attentive and regularly asked if everything was to your liking, which only made the experience even better. In short, we enjoyed it immensely and will definitely come back here again. Highly recommended for anyone who likes authentic Moroccan atmosphere and food!

As soon as you cross the threshold, you feel like you're in a different world. What a nice atmosphere here! A friendly welcome, explanation about the dishes, a nice chat even when it is full. The dishes were delicious! You can taste the passion with which it is prepared! The owner's concept also comes straight from the heart. An absolute must if you are in (near) Zeist!

Highly recommended for eating out in Zeist. It is somewhat hidden, but once inside, you will find a beautiful ambiance where you will receive a very hospitable welcome. We opted for the mezze menu, which actually means a delicious tasting of Moroccan snacks and dishes. The service was extremely friendly and happy to tell you more about the different dishes. The Moroccan wine was also very tasty. All in all, it's a shame that we hadn't been here before; we will definitely come back!

My new favorite in the Utrecht region. The restaurant is very attractively decorated and the host gives a warm welcome. He also likes to talk about the food. The food was honestly the best Moroccan food I have eaten here in the Netherlands. A true taste sensation, you can taste the freshness in every dish. The mezze as a main course is highly recommended to taste as much as possible. We will definitely come back more often!

The reviews don't lie. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was nice and it was decorated very nicely. Staff was fun, friendly and helpful. The food was all organic and halal, which is also reflected in the taste. Can't mention any negatives. We had the mezze menu. Highly recommended!

Nice little Moroccan restaurant. Very friendly owner who will shake your hand when you come and leave. So a personal atmosphere. The restaurant is nicely decorated. Dishes consist of Tagine or couscous with meat or without. Very tasty and more than enough.

We had been looking for a good Moroccan restaurant in the area for a long time, which we had not yet found. Now we had a really delicious meal (and drink): good harrira, surprising mezzes and a delicious tagine. When we heard that there was chebbekiah and asked about it, we were allowed to taste it too. The traditional tea was good but can also be served nice and sweet like Morocco, although the option to do this yourself was also good :) Pleasant host, takes the time to start a conversation and in the meantime not to make the waiting time for food and drinks too long while he was standing alone. In short, recommended!!

We were looking for a good Moroccan restaurant and read that L'ibizar had good reviews. Well, I can confirm this from my own experience. The restaurant has an attractive Moroccan decor. The owner has turned it into a "little palace". The menu has been launched and offers sufficient choice. The tagine andalus was well prepared and we enjoyed it with great pleasure. The dishes of our table guests were also excellent. The owner explained the dishes and advised which drinks would go well together. The dessert is finger-licking good, as if made in-house with authentic ingredients. All in all a successful evening with delicious food. We will come back more often.

Warm welcome, explanation of how the dishes are prepared, everything fresh from our own kitchen, and you can tell by the flavors that come together well. We had a very good meal here. The tagine and couscous dishes we had were both not too simple and really tasty. I have rarely enjoyed a piece of sweet potato so much! I would recommend taking one of both dishes, so that you can eat the couscous with the tagine. The waiter forgot our order, then we got our food for free. Very neat (Although we still paid half of our own accord). Cozy atmosphere and friendly service.

The service and atmosphere is pretty nice and we enjoyed a great night out with friends. Unfortunately it seems like it's the better choice for meat eaters since the variety of vegetarian dishes isn't great. The portions were also too small to fill me up. Taking all that into consideration, I found "the bang for the buck ratio" not convincing

We ate in the restaurant once and had it delivered to home once. Both times the food was absolutely delicious. The tagine chicken, tagine kofta, and the tagine lamb are recommended. I find it striking that there is a big difference in price between eating in the restaurant and having it delivered to your home. Home delivery in particular is very competitively priced. In short, L'ibzar is highly recommended!!

Get a free cup of coffee... Don't make me laugh, you bunch of thieves. Finally give my money (20.65 euros) back! These are incredible scammers, liars and stalkers! Unbelieveable. This place must be doing really bad financially, since they keep spreading all these lies and harassing me at the door and by phone. And that because they do not want to refund the 20.65 euros I paid (of course I have proof of payment). What poverty they must have at L'ibzar. Maybe they should start working for their money instead of harassing people like criminals. Facts so far: - food that was ordered and paid for was not delivered (scam); - multiple threats have been made (threat); - there is stalking by telephone and physically - lies are constantly being proclaimed (libel and slander). ‐------------------------------------------------------------- This reaction from the (presumed) owner of this store is bizarre. I have ordered food here via Thuisbezorgd exactly once (a long time ago) and of course paid properly. I can also prove this with my proof of payment. That order wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. Yesterday I gave this tent another chance and paid 20.65 euros via their own website. I can prove that too. After an hour and a half I was scolded and threatened on the phone when I asked for my money back. Eventually this would happen, but... obviously not. Pure fraud! (By the way, my front door isn't even visible from the street.) I am now being stalked by this liar and scammer. 30 times by phone alone. And now such a reaction: that says everything about this owner/employee, this place and how they treat customers: rude, swearing, lying, threatening and scamming. The only advantage: such a store will automatically go bankrupt. Hopefully for Zeist and surrounding areas. at very short notice.

Called after an hour to find out where the food was: transferred to a voicemail. Didn't call back. Called again after an hour and a half: it was stated that no order had been received, while the confirmation was still in the mailbox. After resetting the system, the order suddenly arrived spontaneously. Asked to return the amount paid, because it simply takes too long, especially if it still has to be prepared. The person on the line kept shouting into the phone instead of properly listening and responding. And also had the nerve to accuse the customer of shouting. Unbelievably rude behavior. Ordering here is the biggest mistake anyone can make.

Went to l'Ibzar with 4 people. Received a very friendly and hospitable welcome from the owner/host who immediately provided background information about Moroccan cuisine and his exceptionally social approach to the restaurant activity. Because we wanted to become acquainted with Moroccan cuisine as extensively as possible, we gave the host free rein with the choice of the menu. The allergies of one of us were also taken into account without any problem. The menu we received afterwards was surprising in all areas and very tasty. We received an explanation about ingredients, etc. for each dish. All 4 thoroughly enjoyed it. It quickly became clear to us that it would not end there this time. For anyone looking for refined, tasty, varied and extensive food for a very reasonable price, l'Ibzar is certainly a restaurant that should be visited. Really recommended. Despite the distance between where we live and Zeist, we will certainly be surprised by the l'Ibzar team again.

What a special place this is! We were there on a quiet evening and we were served by the owner, who also took the time to tell the story behind the delicious food. Awesome! If you want tasty, healthy, honest and fun food, this is the place to be! Of course we ordered a tagine, 2 different ones so we could share. Delicious food. The tagines taste really traditional. We sat outside at 26 degrees. There is not much space, 6 small tables. Inside it is beautifully finished. It can get a bit noisy indoors with large groups. We will be back!

The owner is also extremely friendly and puts quality above quantity and speed. You have to take your time, but then you will have a great evening. They do serve alcohol, although it is not on the menu. We will definitely come more often. Highly recommended.

Tagine meals like you can't make at home - spicy, full of vegetables, tender (and not too much) meat. The Ibzar plank afterwards was a nice tasting with, except for the baklava, sweets unknown to me. The service was still inexperienced, but extremely polite and I thought it was a very pleasant atmosphere. It is good to keep in mind that they do not serve alcohol. If you know in advance it's not a problem, but if you were looking forward to a glass of wine you will be disappointed.
