Linnaeus restaurant in Veluvia-Hamelakkers

Delicious vegan and vegan food, flavorful, refined, (much of) organic, and local. Exceptionally attentive and friendly service. And not to forget: a beautiful atmosphere.

Wederom heerlijk geluncht , complimenten aan de keukenbrigade en vriendelijk personeel ! Gesmuld van de gerechten van de vernieuwde menu kaart ! Groetjes van Arnold en Thea Verwaaijen en Cor en Eveline Verduijn uit Tiel.

Desinteresse, is wat het eten laat zien. We hadden gepocheerde eieren besteld, we kregen tot beton gekookte platte eieren in een doorgekookte, bittere tomatensaus. Uit de oven!! Na de bediening te hebben laten weten dat het oneetbaar was, geen excuses maar dat het wel aan ons zal liggen. Een echte horrreca ervaring. We komen hier al jaren, maar na deze ervaring niet meer.

Doordat er een party was slecht enkel dagsoep te serveren. Soep was een pompoen/broccoli soep maar matig op smaak.

We had a wonderful meal at the Linnaeus restaurant. I've attached the drinks menu and "small snacks." The photo shows the focaccia with warm goat cheese. Highly recommended👍. Also, linden blossom tea. It was very lively. Tables were reserved. About six tables were occupied.

Today I had the soup of the day here for lunch for the second time. Both times, the soup and the accompanying bread tasted excellent, and I received prompt and friendly service both now and two months ago.

We had a delicious lunch here overlooking the garden. Afterwards, we enjoyed the Depot Sculpture Museum, which is free to enter. It's great that everyone can enjoy art.

Everything is already prepared with black pepper. For allergy sufferers, plain bread, a little salad and two fried eggs.

My wife and I are in Wageningen three times a year, and there are many things to like about the town. Near the top of the list are the truly amazing vegan salads we get at Restaurant Linnaeus. They are truly works of art, and as fantastic as they look, they are even better to eat. It is situated in Het Depot, a unique sculpture museum, and overlooking a spectacular garden/arboretum. Go for a stroll in it before or after your lunch. This place is a 100% 5-Star winner.

Delicious lunch with an explosion of flavors

Beautiful restaurant with a chic appearance. Only vegetarian and vegan dishes. Everything was well taken care of and beautifully laid out. The taste wasn't really great, everything was a bit too tasteless and pure. Everything is also very expensive.

Lucky for us, my wife and I are in Wageningen three times a year. Lucky because we get to go to Linnaeus and get these amazing vegan salads for lunch. Not only are they chock full of different, tasty items, but they are an artistic work of art, as well. They are truly fantastic. The vegan soups are super tasty as well. As if that couldn't be beat, the staff is friendly, the setting is relaxing and looks out on a beautiful arboretum which by the way, you will want to stroll through after you eat. Also, check out the amazing sculptures in The Het Depot, where the restaurant is located. On a scale of Zero to 10, I'd give this place an 11.

Nog nooit zo'n amateuristisch vorm van Gastheerschap mogen ervaren als dit restaurant in een overigens prachtig museum . Het begon al tijdens het uitdelen van de keuze voor de lunch met de mededeling ( het was 12:45) dat de soep van de dag op was .... en dat we allemaal pompoensoep zouden krijgen. Vervolgens de mededeling dat de melk en karnemelk op was en die dus niet konden bestellen. Dus bestelde een van ons gezelschap een glas rozé die op de menukaart vermeld was maar ook dat kon niet want die was er niet! Opgemerkt dat er ook in Wageningen winkels waren die melk en karnemelk verkopen. Maar dat bleek in het verkeerde keelgat te schieten want het was uitsluitend biologische melk die geserveerd werd en alleen op vrijdag geleverd werd.... Bediening zwaar geïrriteerd ! Gelukkig maar dat die melk op was anders hadden we op die donderdag melk van een week oud gekregen. biologisch of niet. De boterham met geitenkaas was te eten. Maar aan de pompoensoep ontbrak een belangrijk punt .... SMAAK

Food was good, but service could be friendlier. The layout is sleek and does not exude much conviviality, although opinions within our group are divided on this. The restaurant has a beautiful terrace overlooking the tree garden.

Heerlijk gegegeten, zeer verrast .. lekkere veganistische geluncht, hoop er nog eens terug te komen!
