The food was excellent, though you do need to have a bit of patience; the service is friendly, but not very fast. You are staying at a campsite/bungalow park, so the atmosphere is certainly there.

We had a 3-course dinner for 22.50 via Social Deal. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The 5 small prawns as a main course were a bit disappointing, as was the small fish stew. The taste, however, was very good! Don't expect luxury or a large meal.

We had lunch here today after cycling in the area. The service was very friendly and we were served quickly.

A bit of a letdown... We had been out for a nice walk in the area with our little one and decided to combine that with lunch here. We were assisted by a friendly young man and were able to order quickly. But that is where the positives end. A little later, in front of all the guests, the young man was severely scolded by the owner for absolutely nothing; this really dampened the atmosphere and simply came across as unprofessional. Actually, we should have just left then. Anyway, unfortunately, we didn't. The food was fine, though a bit pricey for what it was. When we wanted to pay, the owner couldn't manage to redeem our gift card. This was immediately made our problem before a single good word could come out of our mouths. The word "force majeure" was used; no responsibility was taken, let alone thought about a good solution. It left a nasty aftertaste.

The food for lunch was delicious, and the waitress was sweet. It really is a canteen. But the ambiance doesn't matter to us as long as the food is good.

Came here via Socialdeals..... even though this restaurant is located on a holiday park, it is definitely highly recommended; there is plenty of choice in various starters, main courses, and desserts....the price-quality ratio is also great. Simply good food. Fantastic for a holiday park. They were very considerate of gluten-free options. Trees' stew was truly delicious. A generous portion. The prawns in chili sauce as a starter were also very tasty. I also had the biggest fries of my life...

What a fantastic place, found through SD. It's indeed the campsite canteen, but just a nice place with good food at reasonable prices. The food was absolutely delicious: delicious tomato soup, fried eggs and/or a hamburger with vegetarian or beef sandwiches, and a brie sandwich. Everything was great, and a delicious ice cream afterward (this time, it was packaged and not included). Everything was perfectly organized. Very friendly service and super clean.

A very bad experience, the soup had absolutely no flavor. The meat arrived, the satay was delicious, the schnitzel and the salmon were simply black. To make matters worse, there was a piece of plastic in the ice. They did apologize, but we couldn't even get a drink out of it. It was also very stuffy inside. Definitely not recommended.

Delicious food, everything freshly made from soup to salad, with meat from the farm's butcher shop. Friendly service, the chef even came to our table to ask if everything was to our liking. During our stay at the Wielerbaan holiday park, we ate at the canteen. The service was incredibly friendly and helpful. The lunch menu was extensive and varied. The four of us enjoyed the Klompenpad twice, croquettes with bread once, and a hamburger once. Everything was delicious, accompanied by a fresh salad. The main course, steak for my wife (medium fried) and I went for the homemade satay, of course with fries and salad! Quality, many self-styled restaurants can learn a thing or two from frying the steak, tender, no tendons and indeed medium! The satay, stop it, it was like you don't often get, Indian style with satay sauce that is unsurpassed. The dessert consisting of ice cream with whipped cream made it a real party. Ate here via Social Deal. Overlooked that it is located in a holiday park, but De Kantine is independent of this park. What a pleasant surprise! From the outside it does indeed look a bit like a canteen, but inside it is a bit more cozy and then the hostess comes into the picture and you immediately feel at home. What wonderful hospitality! And the same attention is also paid to the food. No ready-made heated dishes but delicious homemade satay and homemade hamburgers. All perfectly fine. No highlights but honest and good food. Well worth the money!

Organized a puppy quiz as a surprise party last weekend. First we had a very tasty and good meal and then we had a very nice party. Top organised, everything according to agreement and wishes. Can recommend it to everyone!

You can eat here for a very reasonable price. Nice to get an ice cream with the children, because the playground keeps them busy. Never been to the swimming pool there before, but after the renovation it is definitely worth a try!

Ambience was cozy and warm. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely come back!
