Ali baba in Centrum

Everything is reheated, and nothing is fresh. The kapsalon is a huge mountain of fries that have been fried for the umpteenth time. The meat from the kapsalon was lukewarm (I ate it there) and the cheese was like melted plastic. The lachmacun was almost cold. The food arrived very quickly (3-5 minutes), but you can't make fresh kapsalon that quickly. It's a shame, and I definitely won't be back.

Nothing but praise. Things used to be different for a while, and the meat wasn't what you'd expect. However, now you get personalized service, either by phone or in the restaurant itself. Good meat, exceptionally fast yet fresh, and service is something businesses can learn from.

I ordered late and received my order quickly. Part of the order was wrong, so I received less falafel than promised. The "Lachmakun" seemed a bit sketchy, so I only ate the falafel and got food poisoning the next day.

The hair salon was great! The service was excellent and friendly. You can sit outside or inside, and the atmosphere is cozy.

This is a recommended place. The portion is so big and it's delicious.

I bought fries and a few snacks, took them home, and then threw everything in the trash. Everything was soggy (as if the grease hadn't been heated up), but even worse, the grease clearly should have been replaced quite a while ago. Absolutely not recommended.

I'm a bit confused because there are so many bad reviews on Google and so many good ones on Thuisbezorgd. The delivery was fast and the delivery driver was friendly. The food was tasty, but very small portions for the price. The spaghetti bolognese wasn't freshly cooked and wasn't warm enough. I really hope we don't get food poisoning; I wouldn't order from them again.

Sorry I thought I would get pasta pollo with normal chicken but it was chicken shawarma and bolognese sauce I thought I would eat a healthy pasta but it was not healthy I regret ordering it

Place looks better from the inside but quality probably has even gotten worse. Just ordered meat only, easiest order ever. 7,50 for a small Portion, it came straight from a plastic bag and was even not warm and still cold on the inside after just two minutes heating it. Tried to give them honest feedback afterwards and they just got pissed directly telling me it's not a problem and then hanging up the phone...3 times. Ive bought a late night snack there for the first time 13 years ago, this was the last. Learn how to behave towards customers.

Nice kebab. Small dining area where you can eat freshly made kebab or shoarma. Also great for takeaway.

Update: The next day my partner and I both fell ill with food poisoning so I will never come here again. Ordered food over the phone, it was supposed to be picked up 3 hours later, it arrived 10 minutes early, food was already ready?!? Didn't even try the croquette because it looked too rancid to try, half cooked and falling apart. Frikandellen not cooked, first bite was immediately spit out, frikandellen special ordered without onion due to food allergy, but I think they had just scraped the onion off because it really didn't look like it was half raw and tasted onions, Hawaii sandwich was okay in itself a bit tough but ok, cheese souffle also fine. Fries good.... peanut sauce from fries war not tasted because the food was worthless and you pay €18 for that.... And I arrived 10 minutes early.... They should have just been busy instead of already I don't want to think about how disgusting the food would have been if I had actually gotten there at the agreed time. Dead sin normally great food but this was the last time for me. It's that I have to give 1 star to post but Jesus what a lousy bite this was.

Takeaway order. Kapsalon shoarma - meat that can be bought frozen at the supermarket, no sauce, a slice of cheese and traces of vegetables. The best part was probably the fries. Failure, I do not recommend

We order more often, but this time it really wasn't good. I ordered a small dish of döner kebab but it really wasn't döner. A shame because the döner is very tasty. Was really a disappointment. I think it was just shawarma.

Not the most cheerful types in Wageningen

Extremely poor price quality for food. A six-euro döner sandwich costs 6 euros, but what you get in return is worth less than 3 euros. - You get a small pita bread - The bun is overfilled with what looks like frozen döner - Almost no vegetables, ONLY frozen döner - This sandwich was very clumsy and quickly packed - It cost SIX euros - No matter how stoned you are, this will always taste disgusting and nauseating, as if the döner had been sitting on rusting metal for hours - It didn't even fill

Yesterday I ordered a kapsalon with extra feta and red onion sauce and it was really DELICIOUS! it was still warm at home and the taste was so good, I was full but I couldn't stop eating Thank you gentlemen

Excellent snack bar, Turkish eatery. Good food. Everything was well taken care of. Only the cutlery was missing, but it is also a takeaway counter with an extra few tables.

Ignored us when we tried to order, we were to only ones in the shop. He wasn’t polite. He turned on loud music when we tried to order. He got mad when we tried to pay with card, instead of cash. Accidentally charged us €150 instead of €15 and didn’t make great afford to pay it back. He just told us to sit and wait. He did pay us back in the end, but he wasn’t clear about how en if he would do it. He called us honey, we are 17 yo girls. He just wasn’t nice and didn’t behave appropriate towards his costumers. Not a nice experience.

I ordered a falafel dish with a fanta cassis and orange via home delivery. The orange turned out not to be included when ordering. This was resolved very quickly. The food was very tasty, there was plenty of falafel, a pita bread, two sauces of your choice and a small salad with tomato, cucumber, onion and lettuce. Recommended.

Ordered a döner sandwich, only received a soggy pita bread with a bowl of döner. Green vegetables, not even a fork, which I did need as the pita bread was too small to accommodate all the döner. I had to pay 5.50 for this sad whole. Well.

2nd time I've been here. Fries were completely soggy, I should have thrown them away. Turkish pizza came without sauce or anything. (maybe I should have asked) I didn't think they were really customer friendly either. There was little to communicate. I'll stick with it for now.

My favourite late night Turkish food place. Affordable and good quality food. They have the regular soft drinks as well, in case you're thirsty. Get a (large) Turkse broodje, kapsalon if you're into fusion food, or Lahmacun with döner.

Ali Baba closes much earlier than noted on the internet. They are also very inhospitable. The durum is barely filled. Only lettuce and three scant pickle slices. We are certainly not full after visiting this restaurant. Still paid 8 euros. Unfortunately... Be sure to find the sandwich maker in your own home. Kind regards, empty stomachs
