Strong florists‘ shop smell reminiscent of scented candles; bluish light; right in the middle of a rather unpleasant garden center. We decided not to eat lunch here, so I can‘t say anything about the food, except that all I saw behind the counter were few pastries of the prepackaged sort.

Restaurant in a garden center. Delicious sandwiches and coffee and pastries. Everything is beautifully presented. Even if you don't need anything from the garden center, I would definitely recommend going there!

Cozy restaurant inside the Oude Tol. A great place to have a break from walking around. it has a great atmosphere with a nice terrace. Service was on the spot and the lunch was prepared with fresh ingredients. Certainly one more reason to come to the Oude Tol.

Herenstraat 43Everything is reheated, and nothing is fresh. The kapsalon is a huge mountain of fries that have been fried for the umpteenth time. The meat from the kapsalon was lukewarm (I ate it there) and the cheese was like melted plastic. The lachmacun was almost cold. The food arrived very quickly (3-5 minutes), but you can't make fresh kapsalon that quickly. It's a shame, and I definitely won't be back.

Tarthorst 1221Extremely poor service. We arrived early afternoon. The woman behind the counter was busy. There were a few other customers waiting. Yet, she didn't look up from her work once and didn't even greet us. She saw us anyway. We stood at the counter for 15 minutes without being spoken to. After that, we left to get something tasty for lunch at Jumbo. I've never experienced this before. Very unprofessional.

5 Mei Plein 1This "gastrobar" is definitely on its way. An informal setting, smooth (if sometimes a bit "nervous") service, and excellent, delicious cuisine. With the certainly not exorbitant prices, a Bib Gourmand is on the horizon. Recommended!
