Grilled meat rice? It looks more like braised meat, and the sauce is too sweet. We also ordered “Bún bò Huế,” but surprisingly, the broth was pho. So disappointed.

I’ve been here early of 2024 once compared to this time which I have tried to come twice this year end of 2025, I have experienced something has changed. The taste might be the same with the same potion, but the service makes me think it’s not my choice anymore. So sad to say this. Hope it got improved on the service. Smile and politeness would bring more customer this restaurant.

Perhaps it was wrong to order a main dish instead of a Pho, which seemed pretty decent… but we didn’t…beef was a disaster, not chewable, flavours somehow not adjusted.. second dish was consisting of 2! shrimps, 2 big pieces of tofu and few pieces of chicken on a pile of stir fried vermicelli with absolutely no flavour…

I'm a loyal customer because the food here is amazing no matter what you order! Friendly staff will always help you with whatever you need. I recommend the banh mi and goi cuon, and anything from their selection of homemade drinks.

Really good food and nice and quick service. We came at 5pm and didn't have to wait at all for our food. With two people we ordered spring rolls in veggie, Tofu with vegetables and vegan pho. Everything was really delicious, especially the pho!

The ambiance is nice to see. The chairs are a bit spartan, the tables are small, and the seating is very close together. Prices are reasonable—not expensive, not cheap. Very good quality, with good taste and a hint of "homemade." The restaurant has a certain flair, if you like that kind of thing. Still, a recommendation!

The food here is quite delicious, convenient to order food by QR code. But the limitation is that the place is small, if there are many customers, you may have to wait. But overall, I am satisfied.

Ordered the spicy pho( bun bo hue). A bit on the salty side and usually have shrimp taste but not for this case. Not authentic bun bo hue. More like pho with chilli. Price is reasonable. May come come back for other food to see whether is authentic or not.

Great place for some wholesome, flavorful south-east asian food. Loved the food especially the vermicelli noodles and Vietnamese iced coffee! A memorable way to mark your Amsterdam trip :) Good service was a lovely bonus.

We had two bowls of pho, which was delicious. The vegetables were decent, but they could have been a little more! We were both tired and groggy, but after eating the noodles, we felt completely refreshed. It tasted great! I highly recommend the raw beef pho, the beef is fragrant, and the broth is rich. :)

Ah, the joys of being famished in Amsterdam. After wandering this street of Asian restaurants—each packed to the brim with hungry diners—I thought I had struck gold when I spotted Little Saigon, the one place with open tables. A clear sign, I assumed, that fate had chosen me. Spoiler: fate clearly had other plans. With a respectable 4-star rating, I figured it couldn’t be that bad. I stepped in, noticed that practically everyone was slurping beef pho like it was the elixir of life, but of course I decided to be clever and order fried rice instead. Big mistake. Huge. The fried rice arrived, looking decent enough, but one bite told me all I needed to know: sticky, bland, and tragically uninspired. Let’s just say this rice was not auditioning for MasterChef anytime soon. As someone who has grown up eating rice (the right kind of rice), I can safely say this was the wrong grain for the job. I ended up begging for soy sauce and chili just to convince my taste buds they hadn’t died in vain. Authentic Vietnamese cuisine? Well, if authenticity tastes like disappointment, then sure. I can’t speak for the pho—it might well be the restaurant’s redemption arc—but that fried rice was a culinary plot twist I did not sign up for. Would I come back? Let’s just say hunger made me finish the plate, but curiosity will not bring me through these doors again. Unless, of course, I want another lesson in why sometimes following the crowd isn’t such a bad idea.

The place is over crowded, you might need to wait at least 30 mins to get table at dinner time. Table is very close to each other, the food is not authentic as per Vietnamese, we ordered Bun Bo Hue and it was quite disappointing, the taste is completely different, felt like they use Pho broth and added some spices to make it like Bun Bo. A small and cozy Vietnamese gem in the heart of Amsterdam! The service was quick, and the food absolutely delicious — just like in Vietnam. The pho bo was huge (tip: one portion is easily enough for two!), and they packed it perfectly for takeaway. Great location, too. We wholeheartedly recommend this place!

I went to this restaurant because I wanted to eat pho. The soup is relatively light, but not unsatisfying. It was my first time to eat noodles that were a little wider than the usual thin noodles, but the noodles were very delicious, and I would definitely go back to this restaurant again when eating pho in Amsterdam. The variety is not limited to pho, there are several types of spring rolls, both raw and fried, so even if you go with a group of people, you can try a variety of things.

We stayed in Amsterdam for 2 days and ate at this restaurant, including the special beef pho, beef noodle soup and special mixed noodles. I have to praise the pho and grilled pork noodle soup (+ n other toppings), the pho broth is very delicious and rich, the beef is tender, and the rare beef is tender and sweet with just the right amount of fat; the mixed noodles have a lot of toppings with a very delicious sweet and sour fish sauce, the accompanying vegetables are also quite diverse, overall these 2 dishes were very filling for us. However, for the beef noodle soup, we felt that the restaurant did not cook the broth separately but used the same spices as the pho broth, so the taste of beef noodle soup was not very good; the toppings were also a bit strange, I am from the North so I don't know what beef noodle soup has in the South, but here the toppings have beef, ham and char siu, quite strange for the beef noodle soup style in my place; overall, I don't rate this dish very highly, but the portion is very large and filling. In short, I recommend this to those of you who travel to Ams and miss the taste of home. ♥️

Ngl the Bahn Mi was horrid. Used a baguette instead of proper bahn mi and the pate was just a piece of sausage. Also asked without cilantro and got every single item with it anyway 🤡 I got takeaway but when I ordered there was a cosy atmosphere and they were really nice. Hence 1/5/5 score

The service is very bad. I order 2 bagguettes and i have to wait for so long and when i'm leaving i still not get my food and i didn't even receive any apologizes from the staff.

Very disappointing attitude, on 6 April 2025 we waited before noon, at about 12:10pm, they were still not open. Besides us, there were also 2 other groups of customers that went away. But we saw there were 3 waiters eating inside the “Closed” restaurant without caring for waiting customers. So, we went to Nam Kee Restaurant nearby. We’re sure the arrogant attitude did not reflect the owner’s attitude. Little Saigon had just lost 3 groups of customers with a total of 13 customers in that 10 minutes. What a shame.

Food was fine except for the meat skewers being quite dry. The entire meal was brought down by them refusing to provide tap water (which I’m pretty sure is illegal?) and they forgot an entire persons meal which then ultimately came 15 minutes later after everyone else was almost finished. Overpriced for the quality of food. Would recommend finding somewhere else.

The broths flavour was not strong and lacked seasoning. The hygiene was really bad because there was dried up yellowish rice stuck on the napkin, which was placed between the bowl and plate and the spoon was not clean. On top of that, my friend and I order the same dish but had different meat within the soups.

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Amsterdam. The food is really good, very flavourful and many options. The Bahn Mi is AMAZING, the best in Amsterdam imo. The prices are also really cheap compared to Amsterdam standards. Good place for people on a budget. I will forever keep coming here!

By far the best Pho In Amsterdam (and I’ve tried them all) the broth is really rich compared to other spots in Amsterdam. Right in Amsterdam Chinatown in the center. No reservations but I’ve never had to wait long for a table, service however could be improved. Starters are also good but the Pho is the real highlight for me. Also had an avocadoshake during my last visit, probably won’t get it again but it was good.

This was the worst Vietnamese food I have ever had. I ordered Vermicelli with shrimps, chicken and tofu. The dish had no taste at all, the chicken tasted old and the noodles were much too oily. My husband’s Banhmi was OK, but not really fresh and good either. Service was unfriendly. Waste of money, would definitely not go there anymore.

Mediocre taste. Disappoints me a bit

We were walking to Little Saigon as we had read the reviews and thought it would be nice. The atmosphere was strange and cold as soon as we entered the restaurant. We decided to sit down but wanted to wash our hands before eating but the bathroom couldn't be accessed as the had opened the basement door so it was just a big hole which you would fall into if you went to the bathroom. We asked the vaitor if we could use the bathroom and got a really angry reply and asked us in a rude manner if we wanted to sit and eat and I replied that my intention was to eat but I am not eating without washing my hands. With that rude manner we decided to leave quickly. Won't recommend it as you want to eat in a peaceful setting.

So I came in 16 o'clock, after we came from the other side of the city, because here in Google maps, the opening hours are open until 2030. It said "open" on the door, and I saw people eating. But, the minute I came in, the people looked at me. They were not nice and said that they were close and reopen at 17.

The rice noodles were slightly undercooked and a bit tough, but still acceptable. Additionally, the broth lacked the aromatic flavors of herbs, likely due to local ingredient limitations. They do provide bean sprouts, lime, and chili, which is great. Also, there’s fish sauce on the table, so if you’re having pho, be sure to add a little to enhance the broth.

In a tiny restaurant the server wanted to seat us in the dark back, when there were 4 seats by the front window. No way Jose. No one who worked there had a smile or spoke Vietnamese. They were chinese.They need to understand they need to create a warm/welcoming/friendly place for diners. Never had a Summer Roll that was so badly loosely rolled & filled mainly w/vermicelli not shrimp or veggies. The pork vermicelli was the worst I’ve had at any Vietnamese restaurant anywhere. The pork was more like leftover chopped up fatty pieces with soggy vermicelli. The Pho was ok. The Saigon beer was good as that was not made by them. Avoid this place.

The food was ordinary, and there were some likes and dislikes because the rice noodles contained something similar to beef intestines. Personally, I was okay with it. This was inconvenient as they only accepted cash.
