The food was decent, and a bottle of water was already on the table for €11. The dishes were overpriced for what they were.

The summer rolls are fresh and tasty, and the sauce is good. I liked my Vietnamese shaking beef, but my wife and son were disappointed with their pork belly vermicelli and shrimp vermicelli. Very bland, little variety, and a bit simple. The ingredients were also meager and unremarkable. The chicken satay was fine but too expensive, and that is essentially the story of this whole experience: 110 euros is simply too much for what it was.

Wow. First time trying this restaurant and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious, the service was great and staff is nice. I would recommend coming again!! 😋

This has been a different life experience. I’ve never tried pho before and it was my first time trying it in this place today is the second time I come here and omg no words are enough to explain the love I have for this place. From the outside an unassuming spot but from the inside filled with high quality food, flavour, comfort, and passion. I literally ate it till the last drop of broth. Thank you!

Ordered via uber eats. The whole Pho spilled in the bag, it was packaged terribly, as if it was your first time delivering soup. The roads are iced over and I can’t get another order in… maybe be more diligent next time, kinda unforgiving if you mess this up

I ordered pho here through Uber Eats. Delivery was fast for a Saturday night, but the food was unfortunately very disappointing. The pho broth was tasty, but there were surprisingly few vegetables. Four (half-brown) basil leaves, some loosely chopped onion, and one chili. There was also only one container of hoisin sauce for two people. It's really not worth the price.

I stopped into Sen Việt, a Vietnamese restaurant in Amsterdam, and was genuinely impressed. I ordered their phở ga and it was incredible—rich broth, fresh herbs, and perfectly cooked noodles. Easily one of the best bowls I’ve had in Amsterdam. The interior of the restaurant is extremely well put together. It has a clean, modern look with thoughtful details that make the space feel welcoming and comfortable. You can tell they put a lot of care into creating the right atmosphere. Sen Việt is located in a nice, lively neighborhood, with plenty of small shops and cafés around, so it’s a great area to wander before or after your meal. Overall, a great experience, and I’d definitely go back.

The worst vegetarian Pho I've ever had ! It wasn't even Pho flavour, it was more like some Knorr broth from the package made quickly as an emergency with some random vegies. After my stomach felt upset I've decided to write this review. It was 19€ (expensive) put in the trash.

A very Vietnamese restaurant. We ordered simple Vietnamese food, and the chef cooked it very well. It reminded me of Vietnam so much. Today I ordered sour soup, braised chicken, fried pork belly, rice and salad, all very delicious. Another pot of hot tea, the real Vietnamese taste.

My mother cooks really good Bun Bo Hue therefore I rarely order this dish when eating out. However, Bun Bo Hue at Sen Viet was good enough for me to order it again without hesitation if I'd come back to Amsterdam and visit this restaurant. This is a great destination for those who want to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine in the heart of Amsterdam. The space is extremely cozy, full of Asian style, creating a sense of closeness. The dishes here are very delicately prepared and retain the traditional flavors - especially pho and bun bo. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the experience even more pleasant. Sen Viet is truly a place worth visiting if you want to enjoy Vietnamese flavors in the middle of Europe.

Not an active review writer, but i felt the need to write sonething on this restaurant. 3x small fried springrolls (or loempias for the dutch) for 10€ which were chewy (not crunchy)? A very simple curry (which tasted thai?) which wasn’t even average for 20€ (super salty and second grade chicken)? 3x tiny mini beef rolls for 10€ ? I am a big fan of vietnamese cuisine but this is really a shame. And the atmosphere inside..Sorry but i had to write this. Side note the personel was friendly (nothing to write home about though)

This is one of the best Vietnamese spots in Amsterdam I would say. The food tastes super authentic, just like what you’d get in Vietnam. Everything is fresh and full of flavour, bringing back the real vibe of Vietnamese cooking. On top of that, the staff are super friendly and make sure you’re well taken care of. It’s a great place to go if you’re craving some legit Vietnamese food!

A good restaurant if you dont have taste and never been to Asia. Curry meal are ok. All vegetable are cheap alternates what original should be. Once there and never again.

It’s really authentic Vietnamese Pho, and I especially recommend the Oxtail Soup Vietnamese Pho. In addition, the Vietnamese rice rolls are also delicious, beating many other Vietnamese restaurants in Amsterdam!

Very tasty and authentic Vietnamese food. I had their rieu with shrimp and pho dat beet!!, and che ba mau is delicious!! Pricey, but worth your money!

We placed an order via Uber-eats. They had an advertisement on: buy 2, pay 1 for the Pho “special” I have ordered from Sen Viet before. The Pho incl. content used to be much better. With this offer they have divided the vegetables for 1 Pho over 2 phos. Wow, how stingy and little. 4 leaves of Thai basil, no coriander, barely any onion or bean sprouts and 1 slice of red pepper! People seriously 1 red pepper per bowl?! Also divide 1 hoi-sin cup between 2 bowls and no sriracha. The kitchen and owner should be ashamed of themselves. The broth was also sub par. They are not consistent with the taste of it. Too sweet now, use of a Pho flavor cube and barely taste the beef bone. With such an offer you get many new customers who normally do not order. After all, you invest by giving something away for free. Assume that you want to get new customers and not lose them immediately. Not recommended, don't waste your money. The offer is a lure….

If you want the best authentic true to taste of Vietnamese southern (Saigon) Pho, here is the best restaurant in Amsterdam (maybe also in Holland) where you can find your appetite satisfied👌. Though the restaurant is a bit tiny, the quality of the food is really what you can count on! From a conversation with chef Liem and also the owner (who is very kind and friendly), his Pho stock which contains of oxtail and beef bones is slow cooked in about 10hour long. No wonder why the flavor of the stock is really rich and traditional! Our all time favorite starters we never miss are Goi Cuon Tom & Cha Gio Sen Viet!!! Every bite of the Goi Cuon mingled well with the black sauce can refresh your starving soul for no joke! All ingredients are stored cold in the fridge and freshly wrapped at order. Cha Gio is always exact good browny crunchy with lovely warm flavor. The food quality here is as consistent as our satisfaction every time we eat. We have tried Pho and Vietnamese dishes in other Viet restaurant in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Groningen, and further to Germany, Belgium, or lately in Barcelona, no where could satisfy us! The Pho stock tasted like cooked with bouillon, sometimes even stinky. Not yet to mention you might be fulled around with so-called Vietnamese restaurant but owned by Chinese. "Saigon Cà Phê Restaurant" in Amstelveen Stadhart, or the "Little Saigon" in China Town/Redlight district are examples. Yesterday we came back from Spain, and it is Vietnamese Tet Holiday (Lunar NY), we went straight here with hope to have some homeland flavor to celebrate. Regardless that his wife has been back to Indonesia also for Lunar NY there, Liem worked alone but he didn't disappoint us with his service! Everything we ordered was served very quick on the table. Been customers of Sen Viet for years, today we must write a good review they deserves! We are grateful that we have an authentic Viet restaurant to eat now and then. The foods were tasty but most of them were pricey. Incase keep the same price but prefer adding more food. The owner was kind and friendly but the waitress was not! I recommend you these two dishes: Nem Nuong and Goi Sen Viet ( salad ) All 5 stars i gave for the quality of foods and the friendly of the owner. The young lady she should learn how to connect with her own people, don't act distant and refused to speak Viet to her Viet people!

Watch out for the water scam! The owner would first serve you a bottle of water but not tell you it costs a lot, they still ask you to order a drink. The portion was very small regarding to its price. lI can tell that all the dishes are just easy to cook at home and not worth a try. Most dramatically, they have no guests in it and pretend to be fully reserved. Most importantly! The service is a hell!

Ordered in Uber Eats and let me tell you something, I tried almost every Vietnamese place in Amsterdam and this is THE BEST one. The Pho is incredibly delicious and the Com Ca Ri Tom also brutally good. You can see that they KNOW how to cook well, it’s done with a special type of care that makes it taste so good! Its SO WORTH IT

Small , cozy and food are delicious.

Came in at 15:00 and the place was empty. We were the only ones there. The food was really nice and we enjoyed it a lot however it was on the expensive end, if the service was better it would’ve been justified but as it is right now I don’t believe so. The service was alright but the staff were just hanging out in the kitchen since there was pretty much nothing for them todo except occasionally checking up on us. The cook did come out to greet us which is why they got three stars instead of two. We had shrimp spring rolls which were nice, the chicken curry with rice which is my favorite curry that I’ve eaten at a restaurant and the crispy pork belly with rice was great.

Average Vietnamese food. They don’t serve tap water and they charge A LOT for bottled water. Feels like their way of “earning” some extra. Shame.

Het totaal viel nogal tegen. Veel rijst, weinig speciale smaken. De sauzen werden in de zaak uit kant en klare flessen op de borden gedaan.

Een heerlijke Vietnamese soep gegeten, gecombineerd met Vietnamese koffie. De bediening was vlot, professioneel en vriendelijk, de wachtijd was ook kort. De soep (Phở Đặc Biệt) was heerlijk en de kom was ook groot. Ik kan dit restaurant van harte aanbevelen.

Friendly staff, but food is disappointing: the ribs could have done with more glazing. The stock of the vegetarian pho tasted as if it was made with these cubes for instant soup. The beef pho was ok though.

Had a vegetarian pho with tofu. VERY small portion, rather bland broth, a few carrots, broccoli stems(?) and a couple onions. Noodles were undercooked, but there weren’t many in the bowl, so not a good meal, more of an expensive snack.

Het eten was goed op smaak, alleen vond ik de porties was aan de kleine kant. Maar dit was een deal via Groupon, dus qua prijs kwaliteit goed te doen. Vandaar 4 sterren, anders waren het 3 sterren geworden.

Heerlijk gegeten! Alle gerechten die we hebben gegeten hadden super goede smaak. Echt een aanrader! Wijn wel aan de dure kant.

Met 6 personen via Social deal geboekt. Een half uur voor we arriveerden werden we gebeld dat we niet bij elkaar konden zitten. Want we hadden een deal dus niet met 6 personen aan een tafel. Ook niet twee tafels naast elkaar, maar gewoon 2 tafels aan andere kanten van het restaurant. Ik heb dat nog nooit meegemaakt. Later bleek dat een buslading vol toeristen wel allemaal bij elkaar konden zitten. Ze kregen ook snellere bediening. De bediening was voor Amsterdamse maatstaven correct maar niet geweldig. Eten was zo/zo, de voorgerechten waren goed, de Pho miste smaak en de noedels waren nog erg stug. Geen extra groenten of peper om je soep mee op smaak te maken, toen ik vroeg om een extra pepertje kreeg ik een fles shiracha in handen geduwd. De gerechten waren over het algemeen erg flauw van smaak. Ik ga er van uit dat je een social deal doet om mensen je restaurant te laten uitproberen in de hoop dat ze vaker komen. Dat is hier niet gelukt, ik ga voortaan weer naar mijn oude vertrouwde Vietnamees. Erg jammer.
