I ordered shrimp and rice, but unfortunately, it was very disappointing. The portion was quite meager, especially the rice—there was really very little for a €23 dish for one person. For this price, you expect a generous and complete meal. Too bad, this wasn't a good experience.

We eat here regularly... We had small bugs in the pho once. Okay, it happens. Maybe the lettuce wasn't washed? Annoying, but probably just an isolated incident. Last time, we had bugs in the pho for the second time. Okay, so it's a regular occurrence. We sent feedback to the pickup team but never heard anything back.

A bit overrated on TikTok and other social media channels. Pho Ga was delicious, a mushroom bouillon cube. It certainly didn't taste authentic, but it was well-filled with chicken, but it was disappointing. The duck rice was inedible. The duck was dry and tasted old, definitely not worth €20. The salad roll with grilled shrimp and chicken skewers was tasty and fresh, but I wouldn't go back.

It's hard to find food that suits Korean tastes in Amsterdam, but Vietnamese food is good. It was delicious.

It seems like the quality of the food depends on the chef's mood. If he's having a bad day, you can taste it right away on your plate. It feels like we, as guests, are just expected to go along with his mood – and that shouldn't be the case, of course. If you read the comments below, you'll only see standard responses. They don't even really look at the reviews or respond to the content. It's a shame, it doesn't come across as genuine 🤷🏻‍♀️ You might as well not respond at all; it comes across as very impersonal and disinterested.

Me and my girlfriend ordered food from here. Tasted fine. But gave us the worlds worst food poisoning imaginable. Bad food quality does that to you. Do not recommend at all. Avoid risking food poisoning and just go eat elsewhere.

ordered a take away ( had the tofu noodles dish with chicken spring rolls), was the only thing I ate yesterday- woke up at 2 am with horrible food poisoning. same day as i injured my ankle aa well, litr can’t walk and now throwing my guts out 😭 update: THIS IS THE WORST FOOD POISONING OF MY LIFE. I had to be hospitalised at 5 am because it was that bad and wouldn’t stop, I also don’t have health insurance here yet so that costed a bunch. I felt my absolute worst, and it still keeps going, at least hospital injections helped a bit. DO NOT EAT HERE.

I participated in the 2025 sail Amsterdam. My children treated me to the lemongrass beef noodles at this restaurant. The beef was very tender and the soup was rich.

Our visit was not as expected. We had high expectations based on the reviews, but encountered the following: • The food had little to no flavor, so despite our appreciation for Vietnamese cuisine, we left a large portion untouched. • I ordered fresh coconut juice, served in a coconut. However, the flesh turned out to be too old and so hard that it was impossible to eat with a spoon. This significantly diminished the overall experience. The juice also seemed watered down, which made the taste disappointing. • There were no sunshades, which made it very hot in the sun. I realize I chose to sit by the window, but sunshades would have made the stay more pleasant for guests. • The restaurant felt cluttered, dusty, and dirty; the restroom was also unclean. • During our stay, there were a noticeable number of flies, which significantly diminished our dining experience.

Hue beef noodle soup is salty like salt, the broth has a lot of annatto oil color, feels greasy and not right taste. Pho and beef noodle soup have only a few slices of meat. Female staff attitude is bad and disrespectful to customers, no one says goodbye when leaving... advise people not to come here to enjoy!!!!

Wonderful Viet food here. The broth is tasty and we miss asian food. This restaurant certainly serve great noodle in Amsterdam. We are staying in Crowne Plaza South. A short walk from the hotel.

I used to be a fan of this restaurant, but the last two times I've been there, it's been bad. The meat is pre-cooked and is cold and tough, and the rice is old and hard, sticking together in chunks. It's nothing like it used to be when everything was fresh. The service is functional but nothing special. Last time I went, it was the last time.

Staff was quick with the order and the table. Pho was delicious, soup was flavorfull. The banh xeo was unfortunately not crunchy enough and i was missing some herbs. Nevertheless a perfect spot for a quick bite

Ordered two pho today. The second bite had a dead fly on my spoon. I immediately called the staff, but they didn't want us to do it anymore. The staff initially tried to deny it. When we left, they said, "Bye, you're going somewhere else." Very rude, and indeed, we went elsewhere. Unsanitary. We'd eaten here before, but never again.

I had lunch there on 7 July. The wait staff was not super friendly and more interested in speaking with each other than taking care of customers. Based on reviews I read, I had expectations about the food and was disappointed. First of all, I ordered the Banh Xheo. It was definitely not authentic. They didn’t provide with the necessary, herbs and lettuce that is traditionally served on the side, and I had to pay extra when I asked for it. The pancake was not crispy as should be the case, it was quite Soggy and somewhat bland. This is such a simple dish to make, and it was disappointing that no effort was made here. I also ordered the Vietnamese spareribs. Again, here little effort was made. The ribs were fried and served on a bed of rice, but we’re not crispy and again rather bland. The nuoc mam was watery. If you’re looking to have an authentic Vietnamese meal, I would suggest to go elsewhere. However, if you’re seeking for a quick Asian Influenced meal And you’re not too picky you might be satisfied enough.

Great food! Big portions & fair prices compared to others. Menu discounts during lunch time (really worth it). Free parking in the mall or the street. I'm a regular visitor, always happy to visit this place.

Altijd zeer goed geweest. Nu niet meer. Beef taai vol met zenen. Soep bijna geen smaak weinig kip teveel spaghetti. Behoudt de kwaliteit alsjeblieft. Zo gaat de zaak achteruit Waarom is dit nou nodig. Klanten zijn niet gek. Wij komen niet meer. Terwijl we 3 maal in de maand kwamen. Ik zou graag wat anders schrijven.

As a regular customer we had a disappointing experience here: when eating desert we ordered more ice cream for the kids to eat with the fried banana. Meanwhile the waitress took a dish of fried banana that we were still eating and threw it away! Staff didnt do anything about it. No new dish / no discount on the bill. Guess we are paying for food that gets trown away now...

The soup is hot enough, which is very important in a place as cold as the Netherlands! ! There are so many noodles that you can feel very full, and the meat is also delicious.

we order food on line， then they just cancel it when we were on the way. Then we direct go there and order pho and other items， but we don’t know why everybody of our four vomited after we ate pho 15-20min.

As somebody that grew up eating Vietnamese food, their pho was a dissapointment. The broth was just salt water with no flavour from spices typically used for pho. If you are looking for authentic vietnamese food, this is not the restaurant. Friendly staff though. The seat cushions were also really stained. Kinda gross to sit on.

Everything here is on top, the Pho was so delicate. We came here for lunch without reservation and had to wait for a while. So yeah, you should book a place before dinning in.

Food was fine. We had to look for service and it had been on the back of her phone for quite some time. The place really needs to be cleaned thoroughly because the lighting, windows, walls, in fact everything was very dirty. Partly because of this, we will not come back here again

One of my favorite places to eat Pho in Amsterdam, we come here quite often. Its only unfortunate that the limes are so tiny and the portion of chilli is so little (compared to every single other place) that we have to ask for extra each time.

Inside the mall next to Element Hotel. Came in in the evening looking for food from Asia. After a short wait, I was seated and ordered fresh spring rolls and pho with fried tofu. I was curious about the drink next to me, so I ordered the same one, which was ginger tea with a large amount of ginger in it. Ginger doesn't have the spiciness that you get in Japan, but it has a heartwarming taste. The pho is full of coriander and very satisfying.

Steamed rice with some pieces of chicken for € 18.00, what a disappointment, but the friendly staff.

Come here to eat rice noodles sometimes. Hot soup is more delicious when eaten in the store. This lemongrass beef brisket rice is for takeout. Because it is very suitable for reheating in a hotel microwave and is still very delicious.

Another great meal here. After a bad experience elsewhere yesterday, we had to go to Saigon Caphe again to enjoy ourselves. The Pho Nam was again great, rich complex flavor in the soup. The meat was tender and the noodles just good. The Vietnamese iced coffee was nice and strong and highly recommended. The bahn mi was also great!

Normalmente vamos a su sucursal en Stadshart, que siempre es una experiencia agradable, pero como estábamos cerca asumimos que esto sería lo mismo. Llegamos unos minutos antes de que terminara el menú del almuerzo, pero nos dijeron que ya no es posible pedirlo, el personal parecía malhumorado; una de ellas se paró detrás de nosotros y se quejó a sus colegas de que no quiere estar allí. Lo que era aún peor era que la comida no era tan buena, los fideos fritos eran sosos y fue una experiencia desagradable en general. Solo les di dos estrellas, ya que eran flexibles y serviciales con nuestras restricciones dietéticas.

Be honestly, the restaurant doesn’t give me a good impression. First, there is nobody to welcome me when I look for a seat for my dinner, and waiting alone very long……finally the waitress saw me and I took order the “Bok choy & Tofu Rice noodles” on the menu , “and” ordered extra Topping “Bok Choy”. However, the noodles was without extra topping when I got it…..🤦‍♀️ , so I asked the waitress where is the topping that I ordered? She told me that “the topping is already inside the noodles” 🤷‍♀️ “what?? only 2 pieces of Bok choy inside the soup?” “But I paid extra money…”I thought. “But it’s fine~I trusted her.🤨” Next day, I went to the same restaurant in the central station branch, and took order the same dish with the topping “Bok Choy”…and It was coming with extra Bok Choy in another plate.👍👍 I realized that the restaurant or the waitress in the Gelderlandplein branch is dishonest….very disappointed.😔😔

This was a far cry from their branch in Stadshart which is always an enjoyable experience. The food wasn't as good and the service was not friendly. They were flexible and accommodating with our dietary restrictions though.

I have been here multiple times, and they have been pleasant. But today, we were treated rudely by a waiter that I don't usually see there. He took the order of the table next to us, even when we arrived first. And then when we told him that we want to order, he came but then immediately left us because he "needs to say hi to his friend who was passing by". We wouldn't mind that if he had asked one of his colleagues to maybe take our order in the mean time. He chatted at the door with his friend for quite some minutes, and when one of ask walked to the door to ask if someone else can take our order, he aggressively complained about our request! I mentioned that it felt rude to leave us in the middle of ordering, and he gaslit us, saying that it's not rude, while raising his voice! How unprofessional. Needless to say, we left to eat at the restaurant next door. If I see that man serving in the restaurant, I will not come to dine in. Very unpleasant experience, rude, and disappointing since usually this place has nice service.

Food tasted ok. I would recommend the salad bowl which in my opinion was quite close to authentic. The noddle soup was not really good, we only finished half of it. Main dish is acceptable, but not recommend with starter since price point is high for very small portion.

Very friendly staff, chill vibe. Pho is really delicious, with lot of beef and meat balls! Visited it several times, always keep high standard. Lemon grass tea is also very nice. It has been my first choice when I don’t want to cook at home.

I've never written a bad review before, but the experience I had today was way below par. We had dinner in the restaurant and then decided to order the following dishes for takeaway: Vit Kho | Duck Breast in Caramel Sauce and Com Chien Dac Biet | Fried Rice Saigon Special. When we went to unpack and heat up the food later that evening, we were shocked by what we found. The duck we got, it looked like it was all leftovers. We paid 19 euros and the container was only 1/3 full. And one thing is certain, the duck was anything but fresh; it was completely dried up and hard. It looked like a collected mess! I wonder where you get the courage to give something like that to customers. As I have stated before, I normally never write a bad review, out of respect for my experience in the hospitality industry. But what I ordered and received today is really not possible.

We hebben in het restaurant gegeten en vervolgens besloten om de volgende gerechten voor afhaal te bestellen: Vit Kho | Eendeborst in Karamel Saus en Com Chien Dac Biet | Gebakken Rijst Saigon Special. Toen we later op de avond het eten wilden uitpakken en opwarmen, waren we geschokt door wat we aantroffen. De eend die wij hebben gekregen, het leek erop dat het allemaal restjes waren. We hebben 19 euro betaald en de bak was slechts voor 1/3 gevuld. En één ding is zeker, de eend was allesbehalve vers; het was helemaal opgedroogd en hard. Het zag eruit als een bijeengeraapt zooitje! Ik vraag me af waar jullie de lef vandaan halen om zoiets aan klanten mee te geven. Zoals ik al eerder heb aangegeven, schrijf ik normaal gesproken nooit een slechte recensie, uit respect voor mijn ervaring in de horeca. Maar wat ik vandaag heb besteld en ontvangen, kan echt niet.

A regular address of mine for Vietnamese food. Wide choice of pho, banh mi and other dishes. It is especially beneficial during lunch. Lemongrass ice tea is always a nice drink to order.

Staff is extremely friendly but the food was really crappy. Perhaps the bowls/pho are better, but the meat was tough, the spring rolls soaked in fat/oil. Because we were quite hungry, we just ate it (except for the spring rolls because that was just impossible). The poor quality of the food is masked by a lot of sauce. They seem to have deteriorated in quality, perhaps different chef. Quite a shame because it is a nice tent. I couldn't stay here anymore.

I have been to this Vietnamese pho restaurant countless times. It has its signature beef pho and raw beef pho. Highly recommended.
