In the photo you can see two small sized Beef Pho No. 51. The pho comes with bean sprouts, chili and lemon on the side. The small size is a pretty generous portion and I think it’s more than enough for one person. We also ordered West No. 06. You get four spring rolls, served with three different sauces: pineapple, peanut, and a kind of sweet and sour sauce. There’s some coriander in the little dish with the spring rolls. It’s not easy to see in the photo, but in the top left you can see their homemade iced tea, which is served in a little jar. Prices:

Pho Bo Dac Biet €17.00 We came on a weekday around 5 PM, so it wasn’t too busy and our food came out pretty quickly. As for the people complaining about the prices, all I can say is: you’re in Amsterdam. These days, that’s pretty much what you can expect to pay for a meal here. The staff is friendly and polite. You guys are doing a really good job! I’ve been here several times and I’ll definitely be coming back 🫶🏻

The food was okay and overall the experience started off fine. However, at the end of our meal, the waitress made us feel very unwelcome. We had been there for about an hour when she came over and told us to leave because they had other guests waiting to be seated. I understand that restaurants can get busy, but there are much more polite ways to handle this. Being rushed out so directly left a bad impression and unfortunately overshadowed the otherwise okay meal. The food was decent, but the customer service at the end really needs improvement

Small cozy restaurant with delicious food. The Pho had great balance, with all the ingredients playing an equal role in the taste without overpowering each other. Quick and kind service. Will be back!

They're open until 10 PM. I arrived at 9:24 PM and was notified that the kitchen would be closing at 9:30 PM, so I was refused entry.

Great food, but no flexibility in service. We were a group of six and even though there was plenty of room to join tables to sit us together, they kept saying we couldn’t cause a bigger table would be “hard to serve”. Later they did offer to change tables, but the initial attitude here seemed rigid and unhelpful while in any other restaurant this would have been solved right away to problem.

The food, for me the most important, was fine but the baguette was a bit dry and the summer roll was a bit too much kale compared to shrimp. The home made ice tea was good though and the vibe and service as well.

On August 2nd, my birthday, my friend and I invited me to lunch here because I really like Asian food. Then I chose the Vietnamese noodle soup without coriander, it was incredibly delicious even though it wasn't in Asia and in Amsterdam. The location is very strategic, in the center of Amsterdam and can be reached by tram, get off at the Rembrand stop and then walk a short distance. The friendly service typical of Asians is very welcoming, welcoming you here with a sweet smile. I won't tell you something good if you haven't tried it, so please come and see for yourself what I have said so you won't be curious and don't think too much... 😍🇳🇱🏳️‍🌈

Best Pho in Amsterdam! The food is super delicious, the portions are very big and filling. The service is friendly, sometimes a bit slow. There is an outside terrace , but most of the time it’s full. The prices are good, especially for the big portions .

The food is what really matters. The Pho Bo is extremely good. The Pho Ga is good. The Pho Bo contains many different kinds of meat, all of which are very tasty. The broth is flavorful, and you can tell it was simmered for a long time. The ambiance isn't particularly special. The restrooms in the basement are not accessible for people with disabilities. The large portion of Pho Bo cost €20. It was worth every penny!

Food was decent, service ok inside but upgraded to 5 star cause one of the staff members ran out and chased us down the road to give back my partners glasses.

What a wonderful spot with Vietnamese cuisine! The food was flavourful, the veggies and herbs were juicy. I really recommend having iced tea. The seating is a bit cramped, but you can’t blame the place - it’s a typical Amsterdam centre building. Make sure you make a reservation, it was busy.

Loved my bowl (large beef pho) in all ways - broth, meat, etc - the raw green veggies that came w it I never tried and LOVED how it works in a pho. My mom got the smaller version of it. She tried my soup and realised her broth was watered down for some reason. Took them ~30-40 min to serve her w a small bowl of broth by which time her food was cold so her experience was meh. Not sure what she thought of the other smaller items she tried. Maybe an oversight or they are trying to encourage people getting the Large?… 😅 anyways if you love pho I’d just go for the large. Worth it.

We chanced upon this place while we were looking for a place for a bowl of comforting soup. The staff are friendly and helpful. We ordered 3 small bowls of pho, chicken, shrimp and beef. The broth is umami-rich and deeply satisfying. Each bowl was served with a generous amount of ingredients. It was a satisfying meal!

Great food in the city Center. There are plenty of healthy food choices. I didn’t like though the fact that staff wasn’t cleaning the tables after someone was leaving. This resulted in having to eat along with the food remains of the previous people who were eating.

Pho broth is to die for. Food arrived quick. Spring rolls were nice and not like the normal loempia served elsewhere. The summer rolls weren't really special though.

Truly Vietnamese! Which is special these days. Service provided by very friendly young people. Plus, for Amsterdam, the price is really reasonable. I recommend it.

We thought we would have a nice evening out for dinner with everyone. My food arrived first, and my table companions' food didn't arrive until 20 minutes later. Incidentally, I also had to ask for the condiments that were missing. I politely asked when the other dishes would arrive and was told that it was busy, but there were only 4 tables with 3 waiters. I consider this a joke. To still end the evening, we ordered ice coffee, and I was asked if we wanted it hot or cold. So, I am never coming here again. This is simply scandalous. Literally, people work here who know nothing about hospitality and have absolutely no love for food. Stomping hard on the stairs doesn't give you any peace while dining either. The owner should be ashamed. Ridiculous place

The service was actually quite good; I don't know why some people said it wasn't. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. Remember to make a reservation; many people have to wait if they don't. The food was quite delicious...especially the noodles. The meat portions were generous, very satisfying. However, my friend and I both had diarrhea all day the next day 😭😭😭😭 But it seems like it was just a one-off thing for us; I read the reviews and no one else had similar problems 🥲🥲

We had the vegan pho and it was really yummy and filling. The waiter let our 4 year old order just rice and tofu which wasn’t on the menu and he happily ate it up. All service was super friendly

It used to be really good, but this time it was a bit disappointing. The pho vermicelli was overcooked and broken into small pieces. The broth also had less flavor than usual. The amount of beef, on the other hand, were good. But for 20 euro each bowl it has to be. The bun cha was not good at all. I’ve never had it like this before. It’s a shame, because I used to come here often.

Years ago, I tried their bún riêu here. I was very happy that it was on the menu, because most restaurants only serve phở and other standard dishes. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment: the soup was very watery and contained very little mắm tom (tomato) and other ingredients that provide depth to the soup. It seemed more like a modified version for people who have never eaten bún riêu before, and moreover, a cheaper version. Very different from how you get bún riêu at home or eat it in Vietnam. This says a lot about a restaurant that seems to have more passion for profit than for the food and the culture itself. I forgot to write a review about this, but it was a disgrace, so unfortunately, I will never forget it. If you release something new, try to do your best. Glad you no longer have bún riêu on the menu. 👍

In the city centre of Amsterdam with all the overpriced asian restaurants, this place is such a hidden gem. The broth is with depth and they offer smaller portion of pho. Love it. Better than many pho places in Amsterdam

The chicken pho was very good. The small version was plenty of filling. The spring rolls were okay, I think there was coriander in it which I took out because it gave it a weird taste, kind of soapy. But that may just be my personal taste. They gave us multiple sauces and vegetables you could add, so that you could make it to your own liking. The place itself is pretty cozy and we were helped by kind staff.

We had the 51, spring rolls, and summer rolls, and we were all absolutely thrilled! Very delicious! Very authentic – and not overpriced! We paid €25 per person, including tip, for an appetizer, drinks, and a main course. Reservations are definitely necessary! I'll be back and highly recommend it! 🥰

I was looking for a noodle place and haven't visited this place before. When I walked in the restaurant, it wasn't busy, but when I left it was almost filled with people. It is amazing to see a chef running up the stairs placing the food on the bar and running back down. The waitresses are the ones who bring the food to the table and also accept orders. The food was delicious, a slightly larger cakey would have been nicer but it was warm and bouncy as it should be. Homemade ice tea is filled with mint and lemon tea. And last but not least I have chosen a small bowl of chicken Pho.

I got the summer roll beef and it kept falling apart. It was okay for the taste, but I don’t like coriander and it had lots of it in it, so it tasted more like that instead of beef. The beef pho was really delicious!! The servers were nice and explained everything I needed to know! Also it is halal!!!

If you’re looking for something different than the burgers in this neighborhood go visit O Mai. Come here for the beef pho, 4 differents type of beef meat and delicious broth. The filling of summer rolls was dominated by herbs, like an inch of just the green stuff in one summer roll. Good mix of locals and tourists. Small outside terrace.

We ordered both large and small sizes of Vietnamese pho. The broth was a bit salty, but overall the taste was good.

I was here on January 9, 2026. The fried spring rolls tasted sour and smelled very sour... then we got two phos. One with chicken and one with beef. According to @Amsterdamdiary on Instagram, it's halal. Note that only their beef slices and chicken are halal. Not the meatballs and everything else that comes with this pho. The toilet was also clogged, and everything downstairs seemed so unsanitary :( I couldn't eat anymore. I got sick that evening. Too bad... I was so looking forward to a delicious Vietnamese pho. It was very disappointing...

we were looking for nice and good Vietnamese food and stumbled upon this nice place. We were greeted by the friendly staff but also saw they were very busy and a bit overwhelme. as a starter we had nice springrolls with pork and prawns, it had good flavor but I wish the peanutsauce would be a little bit thicker and springrolls more firmly rolled, my maikn was authentic pho and that tasted really good, I highly recommend if u want good Vietnamese food.

Only got desert the cake was awesome rice cake with ginger and mung bean not my taste but definetly authentic.

Friendly girls, fast service. The bowl was well-filled with noodles, 1 piece of shrimp, and 1 mini egg. Tasted okay, but definitely overpriced.

Food is not that good but the place is cute

It is sad to see how customers are treated differently. The European customers who was sitting next to me paid their bill while staying at their own table, whereas me and my friend who are Asian are required to pay the bill at the front desk.

The food was delicious, with plenty of meat and rich flavors. The salad was perfectly seasoned, the pho broth was authentically Southern Vietnamese, and the chicken in the grilled pork vermicelli was marinated very well and was tender. The glutinous rice balls in sweet soup were indescribable, absolutely amazing! I will definitely come back.

Walked in. The staff were shy and only asked, "What would you like to order?" The food took a while to arrive, but it was definitely fresh. I was disappointed: lots of noodles, lettuce, cilantro, a bit of carrot, and meat. Next to our Korean family, there were loud phone calls. It was a tight squeeze.

It's already my third time going there. I would say the best pho i have ever ate in NL. The broth is soooo flavorful 🤤 properly made! Also the portion is hugeeee, lots of topping!! Just a small portion is enough for me. Really love the vegetables that comes with the pho as a topping too, i think they used vietnamese coriander? Cause it's different and fit just right with the pho. They also provide a sambal (spicy sauce) that seems to be homemade, tasted really umami! The coconut water is also different than the one in AH 😆 vibe is cozy and warm

The place is nice, but the food wasn’t. I ordered a pork belly sandwich. That pork belly sandwich was the saddest sandwich I’ve seen in my life. It lacked love and substance. The pork belly was so dry and insipid. It was as sad as the pig that die for it. What’s even worse is that it took forever to come to my table. Nice kids the ones waitering, but the place won’t last.

The pho here is good! I prefer the thicker rice noodles tho. We also shared an appetizer which was good as well.

Service was great with plenty of seating inside. The food came quickly and staff were super nice. They offer different sizes for the pho depending on your appetite. The noodle soup was tasty with great cuts of meat. The beef go,hi came with a nice selection of meat including, meatballs, raw beef and shank (all cooked pretty well). Would definitely recommend for a comfortable place to sit on a cold day in Amsterdam.

A great discovery. Super busy so advisable to make a reservation ahead of time for free online. Super friendly service and very helpful with questions. Food was cooked quickly and tasted great. HUGE portions, just to warn you, so don't over order, and pace yourself!! The door was open most of the time we were there and it was cold and rainy outside in November, so most people wore their coats inside, so that wasn't ideal, but definitely a recommended place! No loud music either so easy to chat with friends. Or just sit with your own deep and meaningful thoughts 😃

Had dinner here with my girlfriend tonight at around 9 pm, and the experience was honestly infuriating. The chubby waitress with black glasses who took our order was shockingly impatient and rude from the very moment she talked to us. And when she brought out our hot dish, she literally just slammed the plate onto our table like she was angry at us for no reason at all. What made it even worse was watching her treat the WHITE customers at the next table with extra care and politeness, while giving us attitude the entire time. Everyone can have a bad day, but taking it out on customers — and especially treating ASIAN customers differently in a ASIAN restaurant— is absolutely unacceptable. I’m shocked this kind of behavior is allowed here.

This was the first time I tried Vietnamese cuisine. Very fresh taste, large portions. I will definitely come back again 🌿🙌
