Best place for hangover treatment 👌 Rich broth, super authentic taste. Place itself is super small, expect 6 people waiting in line to be seated, while most of the tables haven't been served food yet. And yet, one feels rewarded with the first slurp. The only reason I would not like you to come - not to take the sit that potentially could be mine. From the bottom of the bowl - thank you. And for owners: please take a look at the place that could accommodate more guests 😅 Though, there's a charm to it being so busy.

The best and my fav Pho spot! The first time I was here I was shocked by the amount of flavors in the Pho, and since then I always come back here from time to time for a warm bowl of delicious pho. It is a small shop in a small alley way around center Amsterdam, and that’s how you know the food there is truly authentic and tasty!

What an experience! After a long cold rainy day, I went to this place with a friend and it definitely didn’t disappoint. 18€ per a bowl of pho is a but expensive but it’s Amsterdam. It was very very good. Definitely hit the spot. Also tried their egg rolls but they weren’t as good as i expected. would still go back for pho.

I don't often leave negative reviews, but my experience here tonight was so disappointing... Showed up at 7:55pm, at first they didn't want to seat me inside as they close at 8:30pm and suggested I sit and eat outside (bearing in mind, it's 2 degrees celsius outside!). I promise that I will be done by 8:30pm, the server reluctantly takes my order, and when I try to order spring rolls, he says no, we don't serve them anymore after 8pm... Good to know that cold spring rolls that don't require any cooking are taken off of the menu 30 mins before official closing time! During my entire meal, the server would bring food outside but would always leave the door open once he was back in the restaurant... being in the doorway, I got up 5 times to close the door behind him because, again... its 2 degrees outside!!! At 8:30pm on the dot, I put my spoon down for a second and without asking me if I'm finished, he comes and takes my bowl away. Never ever coming back, have never had service like this anywhere. Such a disappointment.

Best pho in Amsterdam! Very small business, 3 cooks who double as servers and probably owners. We ordered, sat down and got pur food within 10 minutes. The soup was perfect. Unfortunately we did not get to try their ricepaper rolls as they were out of them😔 but still 10/10, would recommend!

This place is such a hidden gem. We stumbled across it, and decided to try it. We’ve never had Pho like this. It’s so good, authentic food. Good service. There was a little bit of a queue, but went down quickly and we didn’t mind. We had Beef pho €18 each which isn’t bad at all, good size portions. Can’t wait to come back again!

I recently visited Pho King, and it truly exceeded my expectations. I ordered the beef pho, and the portion size was huge definitely enough for two people to share, especially if you’d like to try some snacks on the side. The broth was rich, flavorful, and well-seasoned, which really surprised me considering how mild some dishes in the Netherlands can be. The noodles were soft and satisfying, and the spices gave the soup a deep, authentic taste. The only thing I didn’t love was the texture of the meatballs they were a bit chewy, possibly overcooked but overall, the dish was still delicious. The restaurant’s interior deserves a mention too; the décor and table setup instantly transport you to Vietnam or somewhere in Southeast Asia. It feels cozy, warm, and intimate perfect for both casual outings with friends or even a nice date. The staff were incredibly kind and understanding, and they even packed up my leftovers so I could take them home. While the prices are slightly on the higher side (around €18 for a bowl of pho), the quality and portion size make it worthwhile especially if you share. I’ll definitely be coming back for another visit.

This is the only decent bowl of pho I've had in this city. Used to be better. Used to have tripe available but that doesn't sell here. Last visit the broth was a bit too salty but I prefer that over under-seasoned as most of the other pho in the city is. There's just no amazing pho in Amsterdam, or I haven't found it yet. This is the best we have.

My first ever pho! I loved it, it was really good, the broth too. Everything was perfect, with the sauces you could want on the side (for my sriracha and oyster sauce fans) 🙈 The spring rolls were very good as well. There's a coffee shop 🍃 right next door, which might be a bit inconvenient if you're with children, it's not ideal... but otherwise, it's nice even if the place is quite small and cramped.

It feels illegal to say this bowl of pho tasted *better* than some pho I’ve had in Vietnam… First sip of the broth- eyes widened, then the world stopped. Am I being dramatic? Nope! Genuinely the warmest most flavourful broth, perfect for today’s rainy cold day. Generous portions of noodles and beef slices. (Bonus points for the Lee Kum Kee hoisin sauce) Limited seating area but we secured an outside table at 6:45pm, service was fast, no more than 10 minute. Left very full, happy, and warm.

🌟Pho King 18€ Super delicious! It's loaded with beef slices, beef balls, and thick beef. This bowl of pho is the perfect treat for Asian stomachs~ The portion is also quite generous; after finishing a whole bowl, you'll feel incredibly full. You might have to wait a bit during meal times, but it's worth the wait.

A tiny spot located in an alley. Only a few tables inside. Service was quick. Food was delicious. Really really good. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars because their bathroom had no sink. Not sure if the Netherlands has a health board, but can’t imagine they would approve. Hoping the cooks have somewhere to wash up!

Delicious food, friendly and attentive staff (they gave us water because my mother had a hot pepper and she coughed and refused to accept payment, imagine) The pho was very tasty and filling, the price is very reasonable! Best Pho in Holland, tastes just like how I had it in Vietnam. The beef was really tasty and the broth was flavourful. My friend and i had a lot of fun enjoying the music and atmosphere in here, the workers are friendly and wait isn’t too long. definitely worth trying

The restaurant was small, so we ate outside. It smelled strongly of marijuana... There was a cafe next door, so I was a bit hesitant to pay 18 euros, but they had 3-4 different kinds of meat, and it was incredibly tender. I was satisfied! It was windy and cold, so maybe that's why it was so delicious? If it wasn't delicious, it wouldn't be worth the price.

Pho King is hands down the best Vietnamese restaurant I’ve been to. Their pho is incredibly flavorful and comforting — rich broth, tender meat, and fresh herbs. BUT! the food is GOOD! i got pho take away and had to commute for another hour so i was really scared that the soup would spill. you do have to pay a supplement for plastic, but NOTHING was spilled when i got home, as they place a cardboard in the plastic bag to keep everything straight. it was still very hot when i got home.

Very authentic, low-key but delicious and full of smell Vietnamese place. They have essentially two positions in a menu with different choice of meats and that is their success. The pho was flavorful, reach and just like the one I ate in Vietnam I strongly recommend this place if you want a unpretentious easy meal in the center of Amsterdam.

Cute little Vietnamese kiosk with friendly staff, can’t really say it’s a restaurant as there are a maximum of 15 open air seats on the side street. The menu is limited and simple, we couldn’t order anything else besides beef pho soups as other dishes were not prepared or ready yet to be sold. The mixed clear beef broth was delicious, not overly salty or overpowering, yet enough to enjoy the flavors.

We came here by pure chance. We we're hungry, one table was empty and we decided to just give it a chance. Best decision of the whole day. 😍 We had Pho with sliced Beef, Siu Mai, Iced Coffee and a Fanta for our little One. The food was amazing and more than enough for us three. We almost weren't able to finish it. For me it was the best Pho I ever had. Though I have to admit I only ever tasted Pho twice before. I honestly would come back for to Amsterdam just for this little restaurant.

This has got to be one of the best bowls of pho I’ve ever had. My girlfriend and I were craving a nice bowl of Pho while in Amsterdam and saw the reviews for this place and thought to try this place out. We went there around 5pm on a weekend to eat dinner. It was quiet when we arrived, but it quickly filled up while we were eating. We ordered Pho king and Deep fried shrimp tempura, and both were so delicious! We asked them to leave out the cilantro, and they did, and it was delicious. It would have been better if the soup was a little hotter, but it was still delicious!!! The amount of meat in the rice noodles was huge, and the fried shrimp was perfectly crispy and delicious. It was a little salty. It's an open kitchen, and it seemed like they kept the kitchen clean! The staff were all very friendly. If you're craving soup on a rainy and cold day, go here!!

The pho was so nice , very tasteful but as it was very small and not many tables at all i give it a 2. And a 2 because the server asked me to hurry up after having my food for 10 minutes. I felt rushed after waiting 40 minutes for a seat and after i just asked for takeaway and they still charged me which i understand but it’s still unfortunate. The food is definitely a 9+ out of 10. next time I’ll get it without the meatballs as i didn’t really like that and the cilantro. it was super filling and i couldn’t even finish half.

Pho is so bad. Sugar-style sweet broth and MSG. Vegetable sprouts are not kept separately. The shop requires cash while all of Amsterdam accepts card payments

This is the most regretful meal we have ever eaten in Amsterdam. Even if we don’t compare it with Vietnamese Pho standards, we also feel that the reviews on Google are overrated by European standards. . . I really feel cheated. . . The Pho soup tastes average, the beef balls are small and there are only 4 pieces and they have been cut in half, that is, there are only two pieces. The inside of the beef is broken into pieces. I can't find a complete piece. The pho is not smooth but can be eaten. It's totally wrong! I shook my head while eating. I wonder if the waiter saw it! In the end, 2 beef noodles, 1 rice paper roll and 1 drink, the food was of average quality and the total cost was €47.5, which is really expensive...

It’s located in the center of the city, in a narrow street by the canal. The restaurant is very small, it has 5 tables on the terrace (it kinda reminds me how we have food in Asia, sitting on the street). It offers Vietnamese food mainly specialized on Pho (with beef in slices, beef meatballs, stew beef or all 3 kinds) you have to order in the restaurant, pay and then take a table the waiter will bring your order to the table! We ordered 2 beef slices pho (as it was cold when we visited and we wanted something warm) and halal chicken salad for our kid and Vietnamese style spring rolls but unfortunately they didnt have it. The pho was so good, the broth was so flavorful with generous amount of slices beef which kinda of surprised us , our kid loved the halal chicken salad. We enjoyed our food in here!

The portion is generous but the soup is a bit salty. The environment is small and the toilet sink only has dry hand washing. It is easy to miss in the narrow alley.

It’s just an average pho. I have tried much better and there is nothing special in this pho king. Also they do not mention at all if something would be spicy, I’ve had the whole dish (Vietnamese salad) seasoned with something spicy and the chicken was spicy as well, I barely had ingredients that were not spicy to make it easier for me to eat. The place is tiny, dirty and staff was irrelevant to us. I don’t get the high ratings for this place
